I finally found good Chinese in JAX! customer service is Top tier! Food is so yummy! I come here at least once a week! I always get chicken wings and chicken fried rice. I'm never disappointed!!!!

This is great place for halal Chinese food in Jacksonville. Food was good. We enjoyed it. But their wings were little too crispy though for my taste. Beside that I have no complaint. I really liked their beef broccoli and house fried rice. Customers service is very good. If you have big party you should call ahead because inside is small. They don’t have much space for dine in.

Nice Chinese food and I think it is the only Halal one in town. We enjoyed the food, place and service. I’m not much into this type of food but my wife like it. I don’t think I will go back again but it’s worth to the try.

This place is a flavour house. One of the best chinease food around. Wings are the best ever for sure. Best when eaten fresh. Their food is very flavourful. Give this place a try for sure if you're in Jacksonville. It ain't fancy it's your chinease take out with bomb flavour. Did I mention it is zabiha halal as well. Amazing experience.

Great spot! I had to stop eating to do this review for one, I’m chewing fast and hard I might hurt myself HA…it’s so good. The nostalgia I’m getting from the smell of the food and the oyster pale boxes is A1. Food is really good. I ordered shrimp fried rice and wings(I mixed hot and sweet) for my first time here. Flavor of wings was very tasty; next time will ask for extra crispy and no breading. But I def will be back to try others namely pepper steak and shrimp egg foo yung. Great service too. After a few more go’s I may have to say this will be my only place to go for Chinese food. The place is clean and has a few tables if you want to eat in.

So as some people said they are under new management. I really do like the place. It's normal Chinese food but it's super tasty. I ordered some chicken and broccoli and asked to make it spicy. They do not disappoint with the spice! I also ordered dumplings and french fries. I didn't take a picture of those because they were too good and I ate them all. Seriously though its probably my favorite Chinese takeout in Jacksonville and you should try it.

Delicious and fresh halal Chinese food!! Definitely do the General Tso’s Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken— so flavorful and such hearty portions. Will absolutely return!

This place is great under new management. The food is awesome, it’s fresh and delicious. We will definitely go back. Pictures are of general tso chicken and beef sticks with beef fried rice which had huge hunks of beef.

Nice workers . Amazing food . Peacful environment. This place is a hidden gem. My fav part about the Chinese food here is that there is no pork in the fried rice. Bourbon chicken and fried rice in photo 10/10. I tried the general tsos chicken, and it's phenomenal as well

Visited Halal Chinese Box 1 for the first time while in Jacksonville. They were extremely busy but employee took my order within reasonable time. Employee was friendly and knowledgeable of menu. I ordered shrimp fried rice with chicken wings it was actually great. The wait was extremely long but understandable due to amount of customers in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Garlic chicken with fried rice and General Tso's were both the best we have had . The space is small and hot, plan to take out, but we were able to sit right by the ac unit in the corner making it more bearable. Customer service was fantastic also. So good we had to come back the next day and try other things.

Couldn’t decide which appetiser to order so ordered their pu-pu platter (yeah that’s literally the name 💀) which is basically a collection of all appetisers. To me, the appetisers were a little too oily which is probably what I should have already expected from deep fried food- but oily food ig feels way more oily when they are ordered online to be delivered 11 miles away lol. As for the appetisers, the teriyaki chicken is not what you’d expect, it feels more like a grilled chicken. The wings/fried chicken were okay and I have had better crab rangoons. The veggie rolls were average as well. I liked the general tso’s chicken btw, and it came with a side of fried rice which wasn’t bad either but nothing special. In general, this place is obviously not an authentic Chinese place imo, it’s more like a Chinese place catered to American people, as is a lot of the Chinese places here. However, if they open a branch at Orlando, I’d definitely visit cause I don’t think we have any halal asian food place around here.

I asked for the steamed dumplings and she said The only had fried chicken dumplings, I'm thinking like pot stickers but not I got something fried covered in grease flavorless barely anything in it and no sauce. I also ordered the crab rangoons which are the worst I have ever had! It's cheese doesn't even seem like cream cheese and no crabmeat. Also flavorless . Very poor food quality

Have they changed cooks in the last few months? The prices are high and the quality has been lost. Last week I had cabbage that was literally sour inside my egg rolls. Terrible disappointment, as we've given 3 chances but the food is just not the same. We're done.

The chicken looked extra dried out (wasn’t as dry definitely lacked flavor so sauce was needed), I explained to the cashier what I was expecting after reading over the menu before ordering over the phone. She understood what I was wanting and made the proper suggestion in order to help me enjoy my meal. The chef had a mouthful to say about not wanting to make the sauce so he decided to upcharge me (completely fair, I understand). I declined to pay because I wasn’t going to risk spending more money to potentially not like the food still. I understand he wants to be compensated for his time; however, is that not why an hourly wage or salary is paid? Having over a decade of restaurant experience under my belt, there’s no way I could just charge a customer extra because I don’t feel like making sauce. If that was the owner, he definitely lost a customer for life and I will be oh to happy to spread the word about how he treats his patrons. The saving grace of the evening was the young lady in the front she was very pleasant and understanding.

The place itself smell like bleech inside. The food was ok however didn't get exactly what I ordered, probably never would visit this place❗
