We came to this restaurant late & almost left because it appeared that they were sold out of most entrees. however, the server was very kind with us and offered us some samples. Shortly after sampling, I understood why they were sold out of certain entrees. The food was a 10/10. Can’t wait to go back and get more!

Amazing!! We stayed 1 night near JFK and got to explore this gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious. Service was top notch. They were so nice, even let us try before picking the food. Highly recommended!

If you ever are fortunate enough to get stranded at JFK for a 24 hour layover, you must walk over to this restaurant. I thought I was a fan of jerk, chicken and fried plantains, but I had no idea what I was talking about. This is utterly divine. I’ve never had anything like it. NOW, I’ve had jerk chicken.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a jerk chicken meal, and it was absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of spice—flavorful, smoky, and tender. The portion size was generous; I was more than satisfied with the amount of food. Every bite was a delight, and the meal left me full and content without feeling heavy. Fantastic and very flavorful! Great customer service. I enjoyed the oxtail dinner and jerk chicken. It was enough for two. I of course did not share, but I ate the rest the next day and it was just as delicious if not better (that is a hard feat for an already divine meal). This is a must go! I will be back.

Me and my friends were craving Caribbean food when we stumbled across this restaurant. We were visiting NY, so all we had to go off of were the pictures and reviews. When we got in, we were greeted by the nicest man who offered us samples of the food before we ordered. We started off with the oxtail which were 10 out of 10 and then I got to sample the jerk chicken which was cooked to perfection. It was so tender, sauce was divine, but overall the oxtail plate won. I also added a piece of fried fish, which was cooked and seasoned, well with extra cabbage and a frozen drink (with all flavors combined into one - yum). We will definitely add this Restaurant, as a go to the next time we’re in the neighborhood, and we encourage anyone else to stop by and visit. You will not be disappointed!

Good food, but a little expensive for a lunch portion. My picture is the $10 lunch special which comes with just a few pieces of jerk chicken and a mound of rice & peas. Wish it at least had a tiny side of cabbage or something else.

I ordered the stew chicken , it was overly cooked somehow and I wasn’t a fan of the taste. Service was good and it appeared clean inside .

This place is terrible!. The curry goat was hard as a rock. I could not believe how tough the meat was. I also ordered barbecue chicken with rice and peas. The barbecue chicken was good on the parts of the chicken that were not overcooked and dried out. They cook everything with scotch bonnet pepper. So if you have kids they cannot eat the food at all. The food is extremely spicy. If you are not a fan of pepper and extremely spicy food. Do not eat here. I do not get how you have a restaurant serving food that kids cannot eat at. This is probably why it's always empty inside.

Messed up my order on DoorDash. Sent me the wrong item and I wasted my money after already being on a tight budget. I’m very upset I was depending on this and due to what they put on my food I was unable to eat it all. I called the restaurant and they didn’t even try to compensate like this is crazy !
