I came across this place visiting out of town, while staying nearby. It was busy every time I stepped inside. This is like a cantina place. There are tables but no table service. Prices seemed very reasonable. The server went out of her way to describe and show me what food they were serving, since I had very little clue what things were. Every time I was served by a different server, they were all equally great. If you're a sandwich person, you must try Aloo. It's a fried dough, (imagine an unflavored long John) with mashed potatoes inside and they add your choice of meat. The food was cooked well and delicious.

I have come to this place so many times and always get amazing food. I have food catered here often. Today was a disappointment though. I spoke to the woman and told her that I want six doubles with everything and two doubles plain with nothing but the chana which is chickpeas. I mentioned it THREE times before she started making the doubles. When she was done I asked her, Are you sure there are two with no pepper or tamarind, just plain? She assured me yes. When I got to work this morning I wanted to eat my breakfast and of course it was full of tamarind and pepper so I could not eat any. Like I said normally I have nothing but a good experience here but this morning was disappointing. I'll be back because these guys are great but today the server let me down

The food is delicious, and the women are friendly. You walk in and get in line, then one of the lovely ladies with take your order and prepare it. You get to see and pick from the hot plates that's shown behind the glass. I recommend their doubles, one of the best in the area. Then I will pair with one of the entrees. Never disappoint

Recently visited this Trini Roti shop and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our order consisted of doubles, Veggie Roti, Chicken Roti, Goat with Rice. For Roti, we opted for the plain roti which was a thick, chewy bhatura - but tasty! Food overall was a hit. Doubles could've been spicier but inline with what I'd have expected a roti shop to deliver in New York! Service was a little slow and we waited for a good 20 minutes before we got to the counter to place our order. It was all worth the wait however and the food was fresh!

The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I only came once. But given the doubles I had, I'm pretty sure the next trip will make it 5 stars easy. I drove half an hour to come here and I wasn't disappointed. It's a local spot with a bar. The doubles with everything are excellent and I have high expectations for the goat curry roti. The staff is friendly and courteous and the prices are worth it. Definitely a spot to visit and try.

A wide variety of food and drinks. Very good price. Excellent for ordering food for outside events. Nice music surrounds the place. Bathroom needs attendant to clean throughout the day and add toilet paper to the stalls. Food places should always have clean bathrooms since not everyone is clean and tidy. Many times there wasn't toilet paper in the stalls when needed. Servers are not the friendliest or the fastest.

The place is extremely loud. Some of the employees are rude. The food was ok. The fried rice was tasteless with a lot of casareep. The chowmein was disgusting and bland. It had so much casareep that it made the food tasteless and bitter. The goat curry and dhall puri were delicious. I didn't like they offered channa curry with it. They also charged 50 cents for pepper sauce. Overall cost was $38.50.

I had the fish roti. It had no taste and only came with 2 medium chunks of fish. The person who took my order was friendly, the place was clean and had good ventilation. Also the price wasn't bad

This particular day, the food was very disappointing. I got bake with saltfish and an order of pumpkin. First of all I think they boiled ALL the salt out of the saltfish because it had absolutely no flavor or taste whatsoever. No seasonings, nothing. It’s like they just threw it into the pan just like that. And the “pumpkin” tasted more like squash. It was good, but didn’t taste like pumpkin at all. I was very disappointed because I’ve had food from Singh’s before this and everything has always been great. I’m assuming they either changed cooks, or are taking shortcuts, because something wasn’t right at all. I’ll give them another chance, and I hope this issue doesn’t happen again.

The black cake had a slightly crunchy texture, like sand, when you bit into it, and the sponge cake was dry. It wasn't fluffy and it went bad in two days.

The food I ordered was not cooked. I didn't know the food was not cooked thoroughly until I took a bite, the meat was hard as a rock. I went to the manager and showed him the uncooked food and even demonstrated with a fork trying to break the meat, which I couldnt. He said I already took a bite and there was nothing he could do! He didn't even compromise, he literally walked away while I was explaining my issue. So I paid for food that was not edible, I lied... the rice was the only thing edible. I gave this place a chance and bypassed the bad reviews but no wonder it has shitty reviews, they earned it.

Empty and for a reason, their chickpea curry should be called chickpea slurry cause it had no hint of spice at all, might as well call it chickpea soup. Also it made me sick. Tasha roti shop way better, I wish they never left. Also the lady that served me is hard of hearing despite being able to immediately understand the people before me ordering. I had to ask her 3 times just to clarify the size of the container! They didn't even say thank you at all throughout the transaction. Terrible customer service, terrible food, don't understand how they're still in business.

I’m honestly very disappointed with the food I received today. I waited in line for 50 whole minutes, only to be served food that completely lacked flavor. The macaroni pie had no taste whatsoever — it just didn’t mek it. The fried rice was bland, and the Chinese-style chicken had a strange, unpleasant taste. I also ordered dhal and rice with salt fish and curry, and again, the entire meal was flavorless. The only thing that had any real taste was the salt fish. I also ordered a doubles, and thankfully, that was actually good. But considering the rest of the order, I’m incredibly disappointed. After today’s experience, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back. It’s really unfortunate, especially after waiting so long.

I bought a bake and salt fish from you guys and while eating I bit on something hard and when I check it was a piece of metal like Brillo/steel wool to scrub dishes. I went and asked for the owner who was not there so I asked the cashier who was in charge she told me her, I asked her name she said her name in Mandy and smirking and laughing I asked if she have a last name but she didn’t want to give me her last name and started to question me when did I buy the bake/saltfish and what time and she was kinda think it’s a big laughing matter always keep smirking and I told her this is not a laughing matter that I’m serious, she then called over another lady, then a another who took a picture of the bake/saltfish. This incident happened about 1week ago and I have no intention of shopping there and your workers must learn how to treat the customers.
