OMGGGGG so good!! My sister, her boyfriend, my 2 year old nephew and I went here after being at the aquarium to get quick food and we were BLOWN AWAY!!! Everything was juicy and tasty. They have cheap fresh squeeze juices (we had 3!). There's casual seating in the back which helped with the 2 year old's inability to sit. It doesn't look like much but everyone is very happy and full... GO AND GET THE TOP SIRLOIN with rice and pinto beans!!!!

Neighborhood is shady as hell, but well worth going. The Paella was amazing. Seafood was perfectly cooked, and they didn't skimp out on the seafood. The steak was a bit dry, but whatever. Get the paella.

As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable the ambience was very nice. my waitress went above and beyond so friendly and courteous. and the food was nicely priced and tasted wonderful. I ordered the barbecue chicken with the sauce on the side.. the chicken was made to perfection and the sauce topped it off.

I love the salad I ate and especially the bread with butter and the olive oil and then the green and black olives they give you and the coldest beers . I loved how the bartenders and the manager made me feel welcomed . People if you're in this area don't pass this place up it's truly a great place . If a country boy from Texas loves this place then anyone will really love this place . I can't wait to go back and eat and just hang out and drink some really cold Budweiser's. We were there on April 24th Wed. We have been here for a private party in the back room around 10 years ago. I want to start with the service. Girl/lady bartender was the only server. She was very good and attentive. Wine pours were very generous. Food was very good as well. Everything was done in timely manner. Loved it. We will be back.

Nice Portuguese restaurant in the Jamaica neighborhood a few blocks south of the train station. Welcoming and comfortable interior along with an extensive menu of steaks, seafood and other classics. Portions are unsurprisingly large and family-style, so consider ordering to share if dining as a group.

Every platter was tasteful ... may return ... ambience nice (outside needs an umph) almost drove right through it. Locals. Lots of tv for sports ...

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed. This place is so hyped up. It didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the corn on the cob...it had bits of silk on it. The chicken was so, so. Overall not impressed

Empty place (could have been the time of day @ 2PM), the owner (I suppose) fixing a chair not even a hello (guess he was busy) and most of times I come out of these places thinking they could do better on some of the portuguese staples - my steak was good quality with forgetful/nasty sauces. Great service though, the server was kind and attentive.

A Churrasqueira in New York is a fun spot with great service. The staff is attentive and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. The highlight is definitely the bar, which adds a lively vibe. The food is good, but not exceptional. However, the neighborhood isn’t the best, so plan accordingly.

I have been in this place for 25 years, but the last 5 years the food is getting worse and worse Yesterday April 3o I asked for a fish calderaida and the fish had a microwave taste and the potatoes were hard my husband asked for Jeff and he almost asked for a hammer. I don’t recommend this place anymore

Compare to other Portuguese restaurants, overpriced. Especially seafood portions not according to its price. Steak on the rock presentation very messy.

My family and I went there for Thanksgiving eve 2019. During this time, they seem to be in the middle of remodelling. The ceiling was still under construction, entrance wall was covered in plastic. It's 2 stores united. Bar side is medium size and it felt a little dive due to its look and the older males sitting at bar. Waiter can speak Spanish and Portuguese. Food was mediocre at best. But they were patient and did accommodate to our senior requests. Sangria was meh. Would not go back unless they get an improved cook/chef and shorten the menu. It's too much for 1 chef to handle and sacrifice quality.

Wanted to like this place and came here with my boyfriend after dropping off my cousin at the airport. We ordered the lobster with fried seafood and fava bean stew with some cocktails. I had the worst food poisoning of my life last night after eating. Beware!

The service was nonexistent, I had to get up and go to the bar 3 times to ask for drinks and my check. The steak was over cooked and they put olives with pits right next to black beans and I bit down into the pit which wasn’t fun. It gets the one star because the flan was really delicious.

Really disappointed the “Fillet mignon” is not really a fillet mignon. Vegetables and mashed potato on the entree wasn’t hot. It was room temperature. Calamari was okay. What really had smoke coming out my ears was the 4% customer service charge applied to the bill when paid with card. That wasn’t written on the menu, nor did I see that written anywhere in sight. For two $45 entrees of cheap meat and lobster, it was a “never again” experience .

I ordered shrimp linguini in white clams sauce and It was disgusting . It was like a soup with salt and butter. Not flavor at all . I prepare it better than them. I would never order food from that restaurant again.

They state they close at 11 but kitchen closes at 9:30? make it make sense it's 9pm rn and I told them I'll be there in 20 minutes I guess not. To the owner exactly that's the point but no where did you state that on your website instead the waitress told us to come in and waste our time thanks a lot No mention of a last seating at all so that's on your part.

I wanted to like this place...but its a no from me. I ordered for pickup and when I stepped inside the ambiance was actually very nice but the food not so much. The Mariscada Zarzuela (in the tray) was over-priced ($33) and didn't taste fresh. The pork Alentejana tasted like they were smothered in buffalo sauce. If that was the case I'd just go to Buffalo Wild Wings and not a Portuguese restaurant. Next, the "vegetarian" platter just looks pathetic. Finally, they could've at least given us more rice considering that all these entres are lacking a side.
