I went on a Tuesday night so that I could truly experience the ambiance and service minus the crowd. This was the best idea. Service was prompt, my waitress was engaging and expertly answered my questions about menu items. Apps were quickly served and my beer was presented with a frosted mug. 10/10
Always a delicious and delightful dining experience.
I had the spider roll, very good. The rolls were huge and filled with fried crab. The Korean fried chicken was good as well. Also had ramen which was 9/10, however the kimchi didn’t live up to my expectations, only downside of the meal.
Over the years, East Japanese has become more than just a restaurant to me – it's a culinary haven. Whenever thoughts of dining out arise, it's the first place that comes to mind, and when recommending where to eat in Jamaica, East Japanese is one of my unequivocal suggestion. Def in the top 5. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart, not just for its delectable sushi but also for its unwavering commitment to exceptional service. The chefs thoughtful gesture of providing complimentary meal items if an order gets messed up to ensuring patrons feel not only satisfied but also genuinely cared for. I remember when we were newlyweds Chef Taka picked up on it and gave us complimentary hand rolls. 😁😩💘 And not to mention their pleasant greetings when you walk on and put "welcome!" And "thank you!" And it's not just a personal favorite; East Japanese has become a family tradition. My kids absolutely love it for birthdays(and every week if they had their way😆)– the delightful sushi and impeccable service make it a go-to spot for the entire family. Despite being on the pricier side, the experience is always a treat, with exceptional cuisine that makes us savor every bite. East Japanese isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where the pleasure of dining reaches new heights, creating memorable moments with every visit.
I loved my food (can't say the same for my friend). We were tended to right as we stepped in and were acknowledged most of the times we tried to get the waiter's attention.
Food was great can’t wait to go back. I was suppose to visit the Montego Bay location recently but we were late and google map did not help much so we spent maybe 10-15 minutes just driving around trying to find it and the last time I was suppose to visit for lunch they were closed that day so we went over to tracks and records instead but definitely can’t wait. Best Sushi I have had so far is from East Japanese
Simply amazing food with good customer service and ambiance.

Simply amazing food with good customer service and ambiance.
Great food at affordable prices.
I would definitely recommend, I bought California rolls and Shrimp Tempura it was so good that and my drink came to roughly 6k
The east franchise is the best Japanese food in Jamaica, and I would dear say some of the best in the world. East is a restaurant I will always spend my money at because they consistently serve some of the best quality sushi and are rarely out of any of the menu items. Perhaps one of the best restaurant chains in the country. They are expensive though

On entering we didn’t know whether we were to wait at the entrance to be seated or walk in and find seats. No one greeted us and seated us. We had to walk around looking for seats. The food is amazing! And the ambiance was great. A nice little hangout spot. I love it. It’s not very expensive, once you don’t over do it on the sushi you’ll be fine.
The food is amazing. The ambiance is great. The wait time varies. Lovely place for quiet dinner and good conversations.
It was my first time going to the new location on constant spring rd, I was there to celebrate my friend's birthday. I like the atmosphere, it was calm & relaxing, not too loud. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl, I enjoyed my meal and the price was reasonable.
I'm obsessed with the japanese egg rolls! My goal is to try everything on their menu 😌 The waitresses was a delight and answered every questions I had about each dish. The ramen is definitely different, the pork was sweet. I absolutely loved the taste of the bamboo, my friend didn't lol. If you're opened to exploring different tastes, I definitely recommend you come here. The price is actually affordable.

Great food, service and atmosphere
So I came here with friends for a friend date. The atmosphere was lovely. The group was fairly big but they accommodated us which was nice. We all ordered varying meals but I ordered Ramen which was an 8/10. We tried each others meals and the sushi was great. So I would definitely recommend.
The food was great, and atmosphere was good... The service was friendly and welcoming.

I dont like any of the food we ordered at this branch which is unfortunate. I only liked the vegetables I prefer the cooking of the branch at New Kingston. The atmosphere is lovely and it's far more spacious and peaceful than the new Kingston location and the servers were nice. I may just go back to the New Kingston location food wise may come back to this branch and see if the food tastes different.
Cool place, waiters/waitresses take long to get to you if the place is emptier than usual. Food is good, no cocktails though.

The food was good but the service was quite poor. My friend and I stood at the front and was met with not one server. When we finally sat down everyone walked passed us. It was about 15-20 mins before a server decided to bring us a menu. I saw that as very disrespectful as multiple guests who came long after us got their menu and food before we were even addressed and given menus.

No one was there at the front to greet us and assign to a table. When we finally sat, we waited 20+ minutes to order and no one came, and they had took orders for people beside us. We stopped the server and asked what was going on and she seemed shocked to realize the other waiter assigned did not come to us at all. We gave her the order and we didnt even get all the food. We weren't given a glass of water until I was choking from swallowing a tuna sushi roll that had a bone in it which had stuck in my throat. When we begged the water , the waiter said one minute, walked off then proceeded to return in 2 to 3 mins. Bare in mind, they had served people who came long after us. They kept coming to the people beside us to check on them, but no one came to us. The Prime Minister Sushi roll had a bone! I've never encountered a sushi roll with bone, and I was choking. Who waits to get water for 3 minutes while choking!? It could've been serious. I tried to eat another and finally got the bone down. We had our Shoyu Ramen and the pork slices were small and way thinner than what we normally get! Very thin pieces! The egg wasn't cut in two like it normally is, and we did not get our Steamed dumplings at all. Finally at our peak, we requested the bill, which we received with the steamed dumplings on it. We ourselves had to tell them who didn't bring it to us, that we did not get the steamed dumplings so they could remove it. And then we left. Experience has been getting worse with each visit, but this was it for us. Not coming back!
Terrible customer service, had dirty tables all around me. Juice on the floor and I had to ask for water 5 times before I got any. Never again. The tables are so close together I can hear everything the couple beside me was saying
