Located inside the busy Terminal 4 of JFK Airport, Pizza Vino Kitchen & Bar offers a convenient spot for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. Known for its freshly made pizzas, available by the slice at one location and as whole pies at another, it provides options for both individual travelers and groups. While some find the prices a bit high, many appreciate the generous slice sizes and tasty pizza. The friendly service aims to provide a pleasant experience, although some customers have noted potential delays during peak hours.

Tip: Be aware of the confusing ordering setup and potential for slow service. Consider ordering slices instead of a whole pie if you're in a hurry.

The pizza was good and the service too. This place is not closed pff but there are some ice tables to sit at to have your pie. The slices are generous on size and taste good. 2 slices is more tha enough for the hungry adult, 3 is overkill. Of all the eateries in JFK thus one is probably the best
This is a very busy food outlet inside Terminal 4, right opposite Gate B29. The pizza's taste is on point, the dough isn't very thick n dry, and it also has a slight crunchy bite. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and added mushrooms on top, so they put the cheese pizza slice and then added mushroom to the slice before putting it back in the oven so the mushroom gels fully.
Very nice pizza inside the terminal. A definite must try inside the JFK airport in New York City. They make fresh pizza on the spot. You can order the whole pie or by the slice. It is very affordable. But they accept only card and you should order only by the machine. Vegetarian friendly pizza place. They also have drinks, but are very expensive.
My son in law ordered three pizzas, two margheritas and a pepperoni. It took quite some to prepare and when the pizzas were arrived, one of them was very burnt underneath and the other was burnt. Only one of them was cooked perfectly. My daughter and son in law didn’t want to complain but I was having none of it. They managed to finish most of the pizza but weren’t too happy about it being burnt and very burnt. I went to the counter and complained. I explained the situation and requested for the manager from one of the employees. He was very nice and got the manager right away. When she arrived, she was also very nice and accommodating. She offered to give me free pizza. I was very happy with the outcome and decided to write a review.
We ordered 2 slices + fountain soda combo. Service was quick. Pizza was good considering it's at Airport. Wish it was heated for a bit more so it does not go cold too quickly. They only have pizza. Do not look at 5 year old photo of the menu, which says they have other options like garlic knots.
Some reviewers mistaken this “Pizza Vino Bar” location for the “Pizza Vino Kitchen & Bar” which is on the same floor but totally different location where whole pizza are sold there. No slices. We came here for drinks & to the immediate left of this bar is another shop called “Pizza Vino” that sells pizza slices. Will be highlighting to Google Map of incorrect pictures posted for this location (Pizza Vino Bar & Pizza Vino versus Pizza Vino Kitchen & Bar). The bartender is hard working & provide good friendly service. He had to clean the tables off pizza crumbs bought next door also a related store (Pizza Vino). 2024-AUG-30 evening
I recently had the chance to dine at Pizza Vino with my mom while waiting for our flight at JFK International Airport. Overall, it was a decent experience that balanced convenience with quality. We ordered a sausage and spinach pizza, which was very tasty, and enjoyed two margaritas at the bar. The pizza had a crispy crust and a generous amount of toppings. If I were just rating the pizza by itself, I would give it a five. The ambiance was typical of an airport setting, a bit noisy and bustling, but Pizza Vino managed to carve out a cozy nook amidst the chaos. The staff were friendly and efficient, with Dovina, in particular, providing excellent service. She was attentive and made sure our order was out quickly despite the busy environment. The total came up to $81.20 for the pizza and two margaritas, including a tip. It’s a little expensive for pizza, but I really enjoyed it. By the time we finished our margaritas, we felt really nice, especially considering we were a bit stressed at the airport. While it wasn’t the best overall dining experience I’ve ever had, it certainly hit the spot for a quick bite before our flight. If you’re at JFK and craving some pizza and a margarita, Pizza Vino is a solid choice. Rating: 3.5 stars
The desk lady was friendly and she offered me a pizza pie which costs $38 which is very very expensive. The pizza was only cheese and they charge me for extra box too. Next time, I will look at their menu and search more. Obviously, I could afford the pizza price, but that is not good for business that the customers are not happy with the price. Live and learn and do not buy when you are in rush and hungry.
Although service was friendly, and the sandwich was tasty, the side salad (which you pay extra to replace) is lackluster. The sandwich is really tasty but greasy, and the staff, although nice, is slow. Plus, I was not aloud to sit down since it is technically a “bar” and I am 20 years old.
You’ll love paying $60 to vomit. Great diet plan! Not so great if you’re traveling. Everything is over priced as expected but at least hire someone to help the poor waitress working the place alone & make a decent slice.
Pizza was alright. Everything else pretty terrible though. The self service ordering is awful, hardly works. Takes forever to get your food, despite ordering slices of pizza I can literally see sitting there? Was told to move from the tables as they were for dine in only, despite the fact I just ordered from them and was dining in? Also can't order half the stuff on the menu. Wouldn't bother
If I could rate this place with zero, I would definitely do it!!! This is the worst service I’ve had by far!!! I had a really unpleasant experience when, after I had ordered my pizza here and was sitting by the bench waiting for my order to be ready, me and my partner were kicked out from here (same place where we had ordered our food). We thought it was a misunderstanding and explained that we had just placed our order and were waiting for it to be ready and even so, the man said that we could not eat there. As for today I don’t get it. So you buy food from a place but you cannot eat it there???? How is that logical?? We didn’t want to argue with the old man as we were exhausted after a 12 hour flight, so we just left. To our surprise, a pizza order was delivered to a couple who was sitting next to us at the same moment we were gathering our stuff to leave. I was 🫥🫥. Of course the couple looked at us with surprise, without understanding anything of what had just happened. Please do yourselves a favour and never go to this place!!!!
Just purchased a pizza here and it was an absolutely horrible experience at JFK. Please save yourself from the horrible food and experience. We told the cashier we wanted it "to go" as it is an airport and planned to carry what we didnt eat on the airplane, however, upon receiving the food, we were told we had to leave their sitting area and could not eat there. Why were we not told this before instead of being embarrassed in front of everyone? Also to make things worse, the food was burnt (see photo) and taste burnt also - not a single flavour in this pizza. This is not the type of place you want at an international airport, I will never recommend this place, my only wish is I didnt spend my money there and that I could give them a rating of ZERO.
Service was slow and the pizza was about the worst I've ever had. The little totinos square pizzas from the store are better than this. I wish I'd read the Google reviews but I was in a hurry
If you want the most ghetto experience before your flight then you have found the right spot! I arrived SIMPLY for ONE glass of wine. Encountered a rude server and more. If you sit down, it’s one of those pay apps where you have no human interaction until you have paid and you now have to hear no for everything you already PAID FOR. The name is literally called PIZZA VINO. No wine glasses, no wine opener. Had to settle for a wine I didn’t want because the wine bar has no wine opener in site. They did nothing to rectify this and they were so rude. Anyways. Horrible. I simply wanted a refund. Or the actual wine staring me right in the eye behind the bar. Nope, just a crappier version of wine in a highball. For 25$! Cheers!
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at an airport. Pizza Vino at JFK Terminal 4 is an absolute disgrace to hospitality. First, the setup is confusing — two sections right next to each other, one for take-out and one for dine-in. We unknowingly ordered at the takeaway counter and sat down at a table. Instead of handling this with basic courtesy, the bartender Tess rudely told us we had to leave or she’d involve the manager and even airport security. Threatening paying customers like that is unacceptable and completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, when we later raised the issue with the manager, she was equally dismissive and couldn’t care less. On top of it all, when I simply confirmed that my vegetarian pizza would not contain meat, the staff taking my order responded rudely again. This place is not just poorly managed, it’s actively hostile to its customers. Pizza Vino needs to remember that no brand should treat people this way — especially in a global transit hub like JFK where first impressions matter. Avoid this place at all costs.
Just ate here recently and I have to say overall the food and drinks weren’t bad, although kind of pricey(it’s the airport so I expect that) but the service was HORRIBLE (no smiles, no engagement, almost like they are in prison) I waited minutes to see how long it would take them to greet me and it never happened. So I said hello to one of the staff and the interaction wasn’t great(as a guy who has worked in restaurants/hospitality for many years, I notice these things right away.) After I paid, the employee snatched the receipt and didn't say goodbye or thank you. Just didn't understand the lack of friendliness or professionalism.
I put one star for the service, but John R deserves five stars. John R is a rock star. He was taking orders, delivering food, never brushing off customers. A true hard working American. However. A negative one-star for everyone else. The manager is on top of list of atrocious service! This manager on the day we sat down had had long dreadlocks and wore blue shirt on the day we sat down. He looked at me when I sat down and walked away. Even the other patrons warned us that the service was horrible. The other staff/waiters were not any better than the manager. When we asked for help, they told us we had to “get with John”. The manager never once lifted a finger. Hey manager. Instead of rolling your eyes and shaking your head at John R, LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Use the four letter word that you have no idea it means. HELP. Give John R a raise.
Ordered a slice of the "vegetarian pizza". I asked if it came with toppings. Cashier said yes. Spent $8. She then says "1 cheese slice" and I said "I had the vegetarian" she laughs and grabs a cheese slice. I repeat that I had the vegetarian. She says "vegetarian is cheese toppings are 1.50" . I asked for a refund. She said no. I ask for a supervisor. She says it will be at least 30 minutes. This was around 130pm at the JFK pizza vino on terminal 4 on August 30th. Stupidest conversation I've had all week. If she just told me it was a cheese slice and mentioned the 1.50 toppings tag when I asked if the vegetarian came with toppings, I would have probably bought it and grabbed a few toppings. Why lie?? Guess you got my $8, easy there Al Capone.
