Opinions de Raising Cane's Jamaica
Very good and fresh extra crispy the best
Raising canes definitely lived up to the hype I heard about from down south. Last night me and my wife ordered from raising canes via door dash. I have to tell you they didn’t disappoint . I had 6 chicken tenders all white meat . They were nice and meaty. Plus some raising cane’s signature canes dipping sauces. It made for a nice combination. I also tried their signature Texas toast, nice and soft buttery . Plus to top off the meal with some of their signature French fries which didn’t disappoint. Nice and soft on the French fries, some the best around in the fast food game. The prices were not bad at all. Compared to the other fast food restaurants in the area. Cool that’s they finally have a raising canes on Jamaica ave, right in the heart of south Jamaica queens .
I went to this place hoping for a simple, relaxing meal, and what I got was pure disaster. From the moment I walked in, the building seemed to conspire against me: the entrance mat stuck to my shoes like quicksand, the door groaned in protest, and the air smelled like damp cardboard mixed with regret. The lighting flickered violently, casting shadows that whispered ominously, and the chairs looked like medieval torture devices designed to punish anyone who dared to sit. The menu itself was a horror show. Pages were greasy, torn, and smeared with unidentifiable stains, and the dish descriptions were so vague I wondered if I had accidentally picked up a diary instead. I ordered what I thought would be a safe option—a simple soup—and it arrived lukewarm, quivering, and smelling like sadness itself. The flavor was a chaotic mix of metallic bitterness, soggy disappointment, and existential dread, leaving me questioning every life choice that had led me to that table. Even the staff seemed trapped in another dimension. Requests for water, napkins, or the check were met with expressions of complete indifference, and the card reader took so long to process my payment that I briefly considered abandoning my own identity just to escape. By the time I left, sunlight felt like a gift from the universe, and I realized I had survived something that should probably be classified as a natural disaster. Rating: -∞/10. I will never recover.
All around awesome place, with awesome food and people! I frequent this location with my children and we enjoy ourselves every time. It's not only the fresh hot chicken strips and fries, but the employees that bring us back. Fanta and Josephine are two of the most amazing people ❤️ they are always helpful and empathetic with me and my children. They dont make us seem like a hassle, but it almost feels like they were waiting for us to come on in. As a mother, coming in to take a "cooking break" with my children, I appreciate their hospitality. So One Love for Josephine and One Love for Fanta ❤️
My bf and I go here almost every week but Saturday on the 2nd of August we went around 11 pm. The lady she was dark skin and had a hat on was so nice she welcomed us and her service was amazing. Very kind usually don’t see that type of service in there but I hope she gets recognized for what she does ! Food is yummy as always.
The food was great, I've had from multiple locations and this location tasted just as good as the rest. It has the same "Raising Cane's atmosphere" as well. It's got bright red and yellow with comfortable seating upstairs. I really like the long bench style seats Cane's have and this one does not disappoint. Lots of space as well. I'll definitely come back here! The service was great as well. The people made sure to ask my name to speed up my order since it wasn't that busy.
Raising Cane’s Jamaica offers a fantastic dining experience with its beautifully designed interiors that create a welcoming and modern atmosphere. The food lives up to the brand’s reputation—crispy, flavorful chicken fingers paired with their signature Cane’s sauce, perfectly toasted Texas toast, and refreshing drinks. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure every customer feels valued. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick meal, the combination of great food, inviting ambiance, and top-tier service makes this location a must-visit.
Oh my goodness. It's been awhile since I've been to Canes. My only experiences with the chain have been in Ohio, Virginia and Louisiana. This is the first time I've hit up one here in NY and everything about the trip was a pleasant experience. Service, the ladies behind the counter are friendly and polite, gives off the aura of being in Chick Fil-A, a homey kind of vibe. Didn't take long for my order to be ready too. Went with the simple 3 tender combo, nothing extravagant. Atmosphere, they chose a good location being the large building that was once a Burger King before it fell victim to the pandemic. They decked up the upstairs area real good. Attention to detail with various NY cultural designs around the 2nd floor is a vibrant touch. Food, the chicken tenders hit so good, like Tyson or Ali putting an opponent to sleep good, the chicken strips are very tender and tasty without need for the sauce but the sauce definitely does elevate it. Toast was firm with a hint of garlic tolerable enough so that it doesn't come off as strong. As for the fries, yeah they're a tad bit on the salty side but they're the right type of crunch so the sodium didn't put me off from them. I gotta give it up to the Ave, they have been landing some awesome fast food spots lately and they hit another home run with Raising Canes, can't ask for anything better.
Didn't really enjoy the food as a whole. Ordered the 3 piece meal. Enjoyed the bread was great and the fries were ok, but the chicken fingers and sauce were not as satisfying to me as Chick-fil-A. Also didn’t like the fact that there is only street parking here (though its understandable because the lot is small). Customer service was extraordinary though. They remedied an error on their part most adequately, so I sincerely appreciated that. Not planning to visit them again any time soon, but it's a popular franchise (they had a steady stream of customers while I was there, and they have a cute little dine-in area) and they might definitely be worth a try. 👍
It's a gimmicky place. The food is ok, but nothing to rave about. The sauce is basic, the food and options were basic. The seating and facilities are upstairs and you need an attendant for any restroom use. Not very convenient.
The food and sweet tea here are hit or miss. It’s typically pretty busy which may be the reason for how lightly fried the chicken typically is. It could use a little more time, so that the there’s actually a crunch. The sweet tea often tastes unsweetened and the honey mustard sauce is TERRIBLE. Thankfully the staff is usually very friendly.
I had a disappointing experience at the Raising Cane’s on Jamaica Avenue. I ordered a sweet tea, but the drink I received didn’t taste right at all. When I told the cashier (a young Latino male, the night crew 11pm) about it, instead of simply giving me the correct drink, he asked if I wanted sugar packets—something that came across as unhelpful and even sarcastic. I politely repeated my request for sweet tea, but when I received it again, it still tasted bad. Overall, the service felt dismissive, and I didn’t get the quality or experience I expected from Raising Cane’s.
This is my first time ever eating at this restaurant but I won’t be going back.I ordered a 3 piece tenders meal with no drink and cold slaw instead of the garlic bread and I spent over $12.12 . The food tasted ok but the portions was extremely small, that was like a kids meal . Only good thing was the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.
Garage service, never came this location, They have racial discrimination and a very bad attitude. The i food order don't match what they delivered. When I went to the store to ask them about it, they had a bad attitude and said, "We can do nothing about it." They were completely irresponsible and even threatened us to leave. The name of that rude woman is Jenen. I think I will hire a lawyer to sue them.
I just was there, fenomenal store. Some young people do not understand how great full it's to come inside a business and that the staff welcome you, so pleasent, iam a lgbt member I felt respected, apreciaremos, respected and safe, I will recomen this store thousand times. Good it's fresh good practical and lovely. Thank you.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. SCAMMERS!!!! I placed an order online and went to pick it up. The manager with a dirty disgusting attitude said she doesn’t see it on her system. I showed her the receipt and proof that the money processed on my account and she WILL NOT make the order. Absolutely ridiculous. She needs to be fired! Obviously it’s a glitch in her system. And she’s telling me to place another order online and she will make it. Absolutely ridiculous to even offer that as a suggestions. She wants me to pay twice. What a scammer!
Inside the restaurant, very rude customer service. It also smells so putrid and bad. I saw food garbage being taken out in recycle bags, which is causing the restaurant to smell like rotting flesh. How I know, I'm a former military veteran. They charge for a cup of ice and were very rude about it. Outside and inside the restaurant mostly all of the customers were complaining of the smell. Including some of the employees. Terrible management system. Throw away the whole restaurant. Shame on you raising canes. More like raising stinks!
