My wife and I drove from Keller to Denton for a shopping trip and we’re deciding on places for dinner for seafood. I was reading all the negative reviews for Red Lobster in Denton and was a little hesitant to go after my wife’s insistence I can happily report I’m so glad we decided to have dinner here as it was an Awesome experience. Our server Caleb took awesome care of us. The food was really good along with great customer service from the time we checked in. Was great to have such a great experience after reading all the bad reviews We will definitely be back soon as it will be worth the 50 min drive 👍👍👍
Patrice was our waitress and she was AMAZING!! Great service and a wonderful bubbly friendly personality. She laughed and joked with us throughout the meal. Made sure the entire restaurant sang Happy birthday to me!! Great experience.

I took my 12 year old grandson there for the first time and he loved it! Craig took a live lobster out of the tank and explained everything about the lobster and what happens to its shell when it’s steamed, etc. Our waitress, Chealsee, was very friendly and attentive.
Love this Red Lobster! Corbin is amazing. Very nice and helpful. We have come here a few times and got her each time, and she is really awesome. She stays on top of the drink and biscuits refills and always checks in frequently!

Food was good. Baked potato came out lukewarm and it’s a shame how the restaurant nickels-and dimes you for things that used to be included or cut back on favorite menu items and provide smaller portions. The highlight of the visit was our server David. He was very attentive, accommodating and had a great personality! He’s a great asset to this location!
We had a great experience at the Red Lobster in Denton, Texas. We had to wait a little bit to be seated (it wasn’t crowded, but the host was busy when we arrived). The food was well prepared, tasty, and at good temperature (cheese biscuits, yum!). David was our server and he was great, kind and helpful!

We got there at 8:15 and they closed at 9. We felt bad for getting there so late. They was like it no problem, and told us there would be a 15-minute wait. There were 6 of us, and we spent $173 without tip. We tiped cash. The Fiod was fresh, all of it. I got the fish and chips. They fish was so crispy and delicious. My wife got the all you can eat shrimp, lids got lobster and shrimp and popcorn shrimp, and my dad got the maple glazed grill chicken. The bacon Mac n cheese was bomb AF. I believe our waiter ls name was Dizzy. The dude was amazing. We drove from Keller to eat here with my dad, and it didn't disappoint. The Bahama Momma hit the spot too. I highly recommend!
Craig and Chelsee were great! Craig showed my son a lobster outside of the cage and even let him take a picture with it. Chelsea was very attentive and brought the food out in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is that there were a bunch of knats flying around our table although the restaurant seemed very clean otherwise.
I had recently went to this Red Lobster over the weekend and I must say i’m impressed! First off I want to add that I don’t usually write reviews but by knowing the history of the Red Lobster franchise and how some might be hesitant on it, I had to write this. Our food was amazing and was delivered to our table quickly even in the middle of their rush. Our server was Jasmine and I must say that she was the sweetest lady I have ever met. She took great care of us and was constantly checking up on us and the tables around. I would also like to thank, Julian, for helping not only us, but Jasmine as well, by refilling our drinks and never letting them get below half the glass. We could tell that Jasmine was trying to be everywhere at once and Julian stepped in and not only helped our table multiple times, but also the tables around us too! It’s the little things like that, that mean a lot. Those two had great teamwork while in the middle of the “chaos” and it’s safe to say we will definitely be coming back! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing team they got here!

Placed an order online for Fish and Chips as well as a Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad. Easy ordering, no wait, it was ready when I arrived. Food was absolutely delicious. I was greeted when I arrived and directed to the friendliest to go specialist Dejah. Will DEFINITELY be ordering again soon.

Went at lunch time we got seated right away gentleman very kind and professional we got sat and were told the name of our server. Jordan which was such a professional asked all the correct questions and checked up on us regularly great service.Place very clean a little dark in there had to use my phone to read menu. Not good for those of us with bad eye vision.other then that music nice and not to loud.
We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner while out running errands. Craig was a gracious host, even going out of his way to entertain our teenage granddaughters with lobsters and fun facts! Chealsee was our super attentive server making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our delicious food. We recommend the Mariner boil, the seafood feast, and snow crabs. I can not say enough good things about this place. Me and my son went in for lunch and we were greeted by Craig who was so kind and sweet. He even let my son pet one of the lobsters! Tosha our server was wonderful and everyone else who came to our table. Sent us out the door with smiles and a free sundae for my baby. Talk about making us feel special!!! When we walked in Craig the host was very personable He took my grand nephew to view the lobsters and pick which one he wanted. He showed my grand's nephew which part of the lobster was edible. Corbin was our great waitress and she was very patient with my grand nephew and grand niece. Did she treated them like young adults and they responded warmly to her. My grand nephew had never tied a bid before so she was really cute when she helped him out. The food came relatively quick. We ordered surf and turf and seafood boil. Boy oh boy! Wow! I always have a great time when I’m here but this hands down had to be the best time ever! I’d like to thank our server Makayla for helping cultivate an experience of a life time. This was surely a meal I’ll never forget.
We went the weekend before Valentine's Day, and they were very busy, so we sat at the bar. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I accidentally spilled my beer, yeah, rookie move, but she immediately got it cleaned up and brought me a new one. The food was hot and delicious. I ordered the fish and chips dinner (smaller portion than expected), and my husband ordered the ultimate feast. My coleslaw was warm, and I like my coleslaw cold, so that is my only complaint. I'm still giving a 5 star rating!
We were hesitant to eat here, Red Lobster’s customer service, management and quality of food has diminished over the years. However, we were completely floored by the excellent level of customer service at this location and the food was great. Really want to thank the host Craig for greeting us and just demonstrating what great customer service looks like. Our waiter was Grant. He was friendly, professional and totally in charge of making sure we had a great meal. Things have definitely changed for the better at Red Lobster..we will be back soon.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Red Lobster! From the moment we were seated, Kylie gave us outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and professional the whole time. The manager even came by twice to make sure everything was perfect, which really showed how much they care about their guests. The food was fantastic—the new Mariners dish was especially delicious! Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better date night. Great food, amazing service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Had the spendless shrimp tonight and as always everything was great! Our server was Amber and even though this was her first time by herself she handled everything like a pro! Great job, Amber!
9 27 Went back 2 months later and the air-conditioning had been repaired. DAVID was an excellent server The facility does need a refresh and some carpeting repairs. The air-conditioning is out and too humid but you have placed multiple temporary portable air conditioners still nearly feels like you are sitting outside. I was able to tolerate for i am just the customer present for a short period of time But this is a strain on your staff and we could notice it. The service was excellent but please have more compassion for your team and get the professionals to replace the unit.
Mostly go to the Denton Red Lobster because it's busier and has a better atmosphere. Tosha our server was excellent!!! Could not have had better service. We had an issue with a lobster tail, and she replaced it right away. She actually insisted. She was able to see needs before we asked!

Stop by Saturday with my daughter had two ultimate feast the food was good a little slow. The server was wonderfully he made sure we were taken care of. I recommend stoping by did not get my severs name but he was great.
this is single handily the greatest restaurant on the face of the earth. No one can come close to touching the glory of the cheddar bay biscuit, or the amazing $42.99 deal known as THE ULTIMATE FEAST. The waiters at this location are amazing and accommodating, the food is wonderful, and the place is always so clean. Red lobster has made such a comeback, but for me, I never left 😉
The manager at the Denton, Tx location Lowe is Amazing. She greeted us at the door with such a pleasant attitude. It didn’t stop at the door! Would recommend and return just to see her smile! Didn’t get a photo while eating but we had a the Mariner bowl and lobster dip. Leftovers for tonight!

Although our experience didn’t start off the best, Makayla immediately took ownership of the situation and made it clear she was going to turn our night around — and she absolutely did! From the very beginning to the very end, she was attentive, professional, kind, and completely on top of everything. She checked on us consistently, made sure our food and drinks were perfect, and carried herself with such grace and positivity. Her attitude alone changed the entire atmosphere for us. It’s rare to experience service that feels genuine and intentional, but Makayla delivered exactly that. She made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. Because of her, we left happy and grateful. Visiting from out of town for work. The food was really good. It’s been a while since I’ve visited Red Lobster but I’ll be back again for sure. Rennee was a great waitress with good customer service. She frequently checked on the table to make sure I had what I needed. Very respectful as well. Overall good experience.
We just moved to the area and took our two grandchildren for dinner and the service and food was amazing! We went on Christmas Day which presented challenges for the kitchen and waitstaff but Loretta, the GM, stepped in when needed to make sure the staff and customers were taken care of. Overall an excellent Christmas experience and will definitely be coming back. Also, want to point out that the hostess was so sweet and friendly and made sure to wish us a Merry Christmas.

It was my mom’s 87 Birthday and she chose Red Lobster in Denton, Tx. We had my 4 year old grandson Grayson with us and Craig was very generous with his kindness and time showing Grayson Every Lobster in the tank 🫶🏻❣️Emily was our server and was very attentive and efficient !!! My daughter came in late so we were there a couple hours visiting and enjoying the food company and dessert! Thank you Craig and Emily for making my moms Birthday memorable 🎉❣️
We visited this place on Saturday. I ordered the lobster tail and steak special with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The lobster was fantastic, but the steak was a bit old and chewy. I mentioned it to our waitress, and she kindly replaced it with coconut shrimp, which was absolutely delicious. I do wish the menu had a few more options, but the service truly made our visit special. Denasia was amazing! I brought my two-year-old to see the live lobsters, and she went out of her way to take one out so my little one could get a closer look. She didn’t have to, but her thoughtfulness made our experience unforgettable. I’m so grateful for the wonderful service and the great time we had!
Our waitress Kylie was great! Super nice and helped me figure out the best option to get my son a lobster with his kids meal lol. He got lobster mashed potatoes 😂. Glad to see the changes to the menu and change in the energy around the place. My son and I have been having lunch here since he was born.
Excellent Experience at Red Lobster Denton! My family and I recently had a fantastic meal at the Red Lobster in Denton, and we couldn't be happier with our visit. From the moment we sat down, our server, David, was incredibly attentive. He truly anticipated our needs, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. It's always a pleasure when a server goes above and beyond like that! Beyond the exceptional service, the food was fresh, hot, and tasted great. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, and the quality really shone through. While we had a wonderful time, we do have a couple of suggestions that would make an already great experience even better. It would be fantastic to see rice pilaf options added to the menu. Also, we'd love it if crab cakes and fondue could make a comeback – they were always such favorites! Overall, Red Lobster Denton is doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work, and we'll definitely be back soon!

David our waiter was great but hostess and door greeter were not good. Need to learn how to do thar job. Food very good. David would be better greeting people. Also do you have a dress code for staff. Manager wearing plaid shirt and jeans seem a bit off the norm. I go to Red Lobster in other cities. This one probably the worse and they had Xtra staff here for a hiring event. Hope these aren't the people doing the training.
The lobster tail was not cooked thoroughly and thus was gross. Our server, Tosha, was good. We had a different server but he was obviously intimidated by a large party. Tosha was very personable and attentive.
Food was good. Amber was great! She was very attentive! She made sure drinks were always full and offered bread while we waited. Lobster tail was under cooked but other than that everything was great!

My all you can eat shrimp dinner was good. The vinegar shrimp were the best , but my wife's $50 dinner sucked . The lobster was way overcooked and was rubbery when trying to eat it . The cook sucked today. She had 2 lobster tails cooked 2 different ways and were unbeatable. BUT the manager Jared was super understanding and were nice and made want to give this place maybe another chance later . My son's Mac & Cheese with bacon was good . Our waitress tho was not good . She was polite but her lotion or perfume was overwhelming and so strong could knock ur nose to another place. Plus her wording approach was unpleasant.
We went here for a birthday lunch. Atmosphere was ok. We went just around 2pm so crowd was minimal. The food, however, very bland. No flavor, no taste. I ordered a seafood boil with the RL special sauce (flavor), then ordered the cajun sauce on the side, hoping it was add a little flavor. Made no difference. Everyone in our party ordered different meals and felt their food was bland and lacked flavor. We had to bring the rest of the food home to season and spice it up ourselves. This was, indeed, a very disappointing experience. Won't be back!!
Jon the server was excellent considering what he’s having to work with. They only have one cook in the kitchen and out of a lot of menu items. This location is dying a slow death. As another reviewer said, they should have just closed this location today.
The food was horrible and took forever. Jordan was cool but times for how slow it was did not match. Not impressed. I highly recommend NOT ORDERING fries, bacon cheese burger, coleslaw was way to thinknon the cream. Fries were trash. Cold and hallow. Cardboard would have been better.
I haven't been to Red Lobster in years and decided to go since I've seen the new commercial of revamping as well as new CEO. I had the admirals feast and I was disappointed. The breading did not taste fresh on any of it. The admirals feast came with fish scallops shrimp and clams with a loaded baked potato. The scallops were rubbery and it tasted like everything fried in old oil. Very disappointed 😞
My family and I walked in to have some seafood but today my husband decided to treat my son and I with a fresh lobster. We picked a 3lb one and even the host pulled him out and showed him to us. We got seated and greeted by our waitress she took our drink order etc, then later took our food order, but I also told her we ordered a fresh lobster with the host. She told us he didn’t think we were serious so she never put in the order. When we told her we actually wanted it She asked if we wanted our lobster whole or meat out. We said meat out, but we got it whole, okay no issue I took care of it. The issue I have is that we never got attended by her without us calling her. Our drinks came out watered down and never got filled. We asked for biscuits to go but we didn’t get them because they were cooking, we waited for them, still cooking.. never got my to go drink I asked for. The issue was from the start, we should have left when I noticed they didn’t take us serious. We wanted to eat good.. cost was not an issue. The place was not busy… I would have expected better service
We went to Red Lobster in Denton-Texas restaurant for early dinner at around 4pm. I have been religiously dining at Red Lobster for over 25 years now and have visited their restaurants all over USA and even in the middle east as well. I must say that their food quality has always been a good experience. However, over the course of time, their over all quality of dining experience has significantly dropped. When we entered the Denton branch, there built environment was screaming for help when it comes to air ventilation; there was stale smell in the air as if you are visiting an exhausted old building. Please dont assume that i am confusing sea food aroma with stale smell - no i am not - i am talking about fresh air circulation that is required for ventilation. Additionally, the surface of the booth table we were assigned to was sticky (one of the first bell that rings for poor food handling and hygiene practices observed by the restaurant management. My experience further went south as soon as i grabbed the salt and pepper shakers. Both shakers were slimy as u hold them, to the extent that i had to wipe my hands. As a food critic, i understand the concept of using dim lights to enhance the ambiance; but it has to be methodic so that there is some indirect light making the dining environment comfortable. In our case, it was too dark for us, and the whole dining environment felt as if we are sitting in a closed cube. I suggest this restaurant’s management to hire an interior designer to uplift the dining environment for the clients. Last, I wanted to highlight the fact that I love the Red Lobster restaurants and I am sad that over the years this restaurant chain is struggling to manage the top standards it used to remarkably carry in the past; the above critique and suggestions are focused on our recent dining experience at Red Lobster Denton-Texas. Really like the Red Lobster Franchise, but this location was not up to par. We should have known when the parking lots next to it was jam packed and only 5 cars here. Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse was poppin'....now we can see why this place is not. Surprised to see so many 5 stars reviews honestly, as I checked to see what was up with this location? Maybe not enough to visit to even do the reviews? We finally called for a manager when we were told to crack the crab legs by hand...as they had no hardware to crack the legs/claws open? Only five or so tables were occupied? Told that they get stolen....well then dont sell crab legs. Finally they find one for the 2 of us to share. Manager was friendly and she tried to make it right. But at this point between the loud music (made it hard to talk), the wet silverware then wrapped in napkins (dry them first next time), the rolls where hard as rocks (this should be a signature for yall, dont mess up the rolls, and surely dont send them out to your guests when you can see they are dark brown), then the appetizer came out literally 1 minute before our food. Did 2 scoops of dip and then had to make room for the dinner plates. Food was good (minus the rolls), thank you for that, but the experience was....yikes! Hope the manager that spoke to us gets some help to support better service, I can tell she cares...so hoping this review wakes up someone higher up to look at staffing with the right people and maybe step outside and look at the restaurants right next door. Ask yourself, why are they busy and yall are not? People want an experience and good food. Ruin the experience from the start and its hard to make it up with good food only. And let's not run out of the obvious hardware. People dont buy crab legs and expect to do it all by hand. The cocktail was good, so cheers to that!
Server, Jordan, was extremely nice. If you go ask for him! The 2 stars is for the atmosphere and remaining staff. The seafood boil I ordered was supposed to come with a lobster tail and it didn’t. When we asked asked another server, just to confirm, she said yes and walked away. A few moment later came back and threw a lobster tail on our table. We were very confused. If it wasn’t in the bag seasoned I was okay without it. This separate served then went and complained about my husband and I to the other staff. All within ear shot. The table next to us and us both heard the conversation and looked at each other in disbelief they were talking about us so closely.
Should have walked right back out when I got there. (Red flag) AC is down with portable units almost keeping up. We order drinks and an appetizer. 2 waitresses, 1 being a trainee. (Red flag 2) There aren't many patrons, and it's 5pm Saturday. Waitresses come back 5 minutes later with our cocktails, and promptly spills my wifes drink on her. Salads were decent, appetizer was pretty good but presentation was not. We both had the ultimate feast and I subbed a filet mignon for an upcharge. The food was disappointing. Worst filet mignon ever. I think they gave me a sirloin as it was very, very tough. My lobster tail was beyond salty. I told the staff. The mat agreed to comp our bill by $20 on a &180 ticket. Yeah great 15 yr wedding anniversary. I won't be back.
Just had a horrible experience here, The lobster tails we were served had gray meat and slime throughout, out of the two replacement tails only one was good, the other had the same issue. The crab leg meat was yellow, I gave up on finishing the meal. Our server was great and the food issue was not her fault but bad food ruins the experience. I have also emailed corporate with the issue.
I placed a delivery order on the actual website(not through a third-party) at 6:23 PM. Online it said it would be estimated 60 min, meaning it would arrive around 7:23. Once I placed my order it stated that it will arrive by 7:45 PM. I called the location and spoke with the manager to change my order to pick up because it did not originally state that it would take that long. The manager stated that he does not know how to take off the delivery fee and assured me that it should arrive around 7:25. I told the manager that the only reason I want to pick it up is because the time said 7:45 PM arrival. I asked the manager for confirmation that it will be around 7:25 and he advised yes. I now have an estimated arrival time of 8:06 PM. I understand that they cannot control delivery time and this is why I called to change it to pickup. I believe the manager gave me false information just because he didn’t know how to change the payment and that is extremely unprofessional. I would have cancelled my order if he could not have switched it to pickup and I didn’t because he stated that it would not arrive that late…which was a lie. I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery from here at all.
Very disappointed!! We went in around 2:30 on Thursday 10/23/25 to red lobster Denton tx. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. We were seated right behind them. The couple was having a conversation with the waiter named Jordan about college and that’s fine. But it went on and on. Finally the front host came over to give us menus we asked if Jordan was our server and he said yes and we politely said well can we get drinks. The host was very nice and got us tea. Still waiting as the continued talking. We kept turning around and looking. Finally a gentleman saw us and came over I’m assuming possibly manager and took our order. As Jordan was still talking to the other customers. Well finally Jordan finished his conversation and stopped by to tell us he was our waiter and could he get us anything!!!! Long story short the food was horrible. We will NOT be back ever!!! Just my opinion but he could have politely told the couple let me grab these people’s drinks and order and I’ll be right back. I don’t do reviews but I’m really disappointed in this Red Lobster in Denton
Birthday Dinner. The restaurant was nice and clean. The music was updated and nice. The waitress was friendly but spoke quickly and we had to look for her when we needed anything. The lobster bisque was terrible. It was bland and tasted like wine with no lobster. We returned the bisque. The hush puppies were raw inside, and we couldn't eat them. They were a side, so they deducted a fee, and we had no alternate. The Brussel Sprouts were too tough and lacking sauce. The cesar salad had the entire top full of bread crumbs that weren't very good. Also, they didn't tell us there is a charge for the salad, and its not a side dish. The parmesan cheese was hard like it was old. The shrimp Alfredo was very good. The biscuits were delicious but only 1 per person, then they charged us for a 2nd order of bread. The shrimp cocktail was very good. We, however, had to wait a long time for it as the waitress said it was still too frozen. I'm disappointed for sure. The Admirals feast...it was a smaller portion with a higher price. The food was delicious, but I was nauseous as it was served in a metal tin. I felt like I was a dog being served. Not appetizing at all. I just boxed it and took it home. Overall, I was disappointed with the waitress, tin serving dish and some of the food. We didn't even look for the waitress to let her know this was a birthday dinner. We sat at table 52 and check 32820 18:49:46 on 12-27-2024
The last 2 times my wife and have gone to this location, we sat so long without service that we just got up and left. Both times no one even noticed. The 2nd time was even more awful than the first. The restaurant was empty and the host walked us aaaaallllllllll the way to the back near the restrooms. We waited there 8 minutes (yes I timed it bc of our last experience), and no one ever came to greet us. Servers, hosts and managers walked right by and never even gave a glance. So we made the long walk out, and again, no one even noticed. We will not return to this location again. There’s too much competition near by for y’all to be this bad.
Worst server ever. Daughter didn't get her food. Server asked if she ordered something when she brought the rest of the food out. She would never bring us bread then told us after 45 mins it hadn't come out but when she brought it finally it was burnt. She left dirty dishes to stack up on us so if she wondered why she didn't get tipped thats why. They wouldn't do anything for my 6 yr Olds birthday either. Waitress had a chip on her shoulder. Don't eat here. The food is overcooked anyway over priced.
Took a while to get seated but no one was there. Order 2 kids meals, they put them at different time, in fact all our meals were put in at different times. SO WE GOT OUR FOOD ONE AT A TIME! I have never had that happen on purpose!?
Respectfully, y’all should have just closed today instead of being open. Having a buss boy and manager trying to run the kitchen & you’re out of half the food menu items is insane. Joshua was a great server all things considered. It seems like others have had a great experience as the reviews show but this was a horrible experience. This is no hate towards anyone working today, they did the best they could. General Manager should have just closed this down for the day. At least put a flyer on the door letting people know you’re out of so many food items.
This evening me and my family went to Red Lobster for dinner. We have never had any issues until tonight. When we got there the host took a minute to get a table cleaned for us, even though there was no one inside the restaurant. When he came back we were greeted buy a young lady who looked to be multi-racial with her hair in two braids and tied back. She took our drink ordered and it took about a good 15 minutes for us to receive them. As soon as she got back with the drinks we went ahead and put our order in. I got - lobster pasta with the flat pasta with two different kinds of lobster, with asparagus, tomatoes, in a lobster sauce. and a cup of lobster bisque. My partner got - the shrimp linguine My nephew got - salmon with shrimp, with fries and rice Once we put in our order the waitress came back and asked us if we wanted to make our order to go. She also asked the customers in front of us the same thing. This was about 15 minutes after we put our order in. We politely said no and she went back to the back. We noticed the manager on duty, he was an older gentleman with white hair and a white beard. I was trying to joke with him and asked if we could get 50% off our order if we took it to go, keeping in mind we got there @ 6:45 pm and the time was now @ 7:30 pm and the location closes @ 9:00 pm. He just no and turned his head in a snooty way and walked off. After that our waitress pretty much ignored us as much as possible and only came back around 8:00 pm with our order. Everything was as we expected it but she forgot my lobster bisque with took about another 20 min for her to bring with no spoon. I got up and asked another waiter but to no resolve. I then went up to the host and asked him for a spoon and he bough us one to our table. And while as this was going on our waitress was no where to be found and there were about 6 other tables with about 3 other waiters one the floor. Everyone at table was enjoying their food, but it seemed like she was going out her way to ensure my food was not like it was described in the menu. The dish was mostly pasta with no lobster sauce besides the water from the pasta. It did seem like she was going out her way to ensure my meal was not enjoyable. When we finally paid our ticket @ $112. She had added on (accident) two more dishes that we did not order on just my meal line on the receipt. We waited for her to come back to the table for about another 15 min until I had to finally go to the front to let the host know so that he could get our waitress and correct the ticket. We finally left @ 8:40 pm from the restaurant. We were at your restaurant in Denton, TX - Golden Triangle Mall / 2801 S I-35E Denton, TX 76210. Sadly to say that after a 2 hour meal and costing around $112, you would expect better customer service especially for the price.
We arrived around 1:00 PM to celebrate my parents’ 60th anniversary at Red Lobster. There were several empty tables, so we thought we were in luck… plot twist: 1-hour wait due to low staffing. Our waiter was pleasant and kind — truly doing her best — and we appreciated her attitude. The manager was also out there bussing tables, which shows they were trying to help where they could. Once seated, the food took over 45 minutes for our table of seven. When it finally arrived, most of it was cold, and we had to ask for silverware and napkins after the meals were already on the table. Not exactly the anniversary dining experience we had envisioned. While we waited, I counted over 10 parties between 2–7 people leave because of the delay. That’s a lot of lost revenue — and a lot of hungry, disappointed guests. If my parents hadn’t had a gift card and specifically wanted to celebrate at this restaurant for sentimental reasons, we likely would have left too. I understand staffing challenges happen, but long waits, cold food, and empty tables don’t make for a memorable celebration — especially when you’re honoring 60 years of marriage. Hoping things improve, because milestones like that deserve hot meals.
Red lobster, RED Lobster....... what is going on. I debated posting or not. I ordered scallops bacon wrapped. Scallops tasted like nothing. A Lobster plate with a tail and lobster tail it had fried bits in th tail and Lobster scallops pasta. The tail had poop on top and cooked into it it went thru at least 3 people. The alcohol drink had no alcohol in it. I rarely drink like 2 to 3 times a year maybe. I gave the drink back. And the platter. I paid $36 for the tail bites and four small scallops and that was with a veteran discount. That is crazy and ridiculous. I am never going back to any red lobster ever again. I feel so sorry for the manager. This company should be ashamed.
I’m really disappointed with my curbside order tonight. I waited about 30 minutes, only to be given the wrong meal. I ordered the Shrimp & Crab Pasta, but instead I was handed fried shrimp and a baked potato that I did NOT order, and the main item I paid for was completely missing. This wasn’t a small mix-up—it was an entirely different meal, and no one checked the order before bringing it out. Waiting that long and still leaving without what I actually ordered is frustrating, especially when curbside is supposed to be quick and convenient. I hope management improves order accuracy and double-checks meals before bringing them out so this doesn’t keep happening to other customers.
