I went through the drive-thru and one of my burgers wasn't made correctly. I called and spoke to the manager who immediately had the problem fixed and apologized for my inconvenience. The customer service went above and beyond my expectations. And my Burger was delicious.

July 25, 2021. Clean dining area, love the fifties vibe, good food, loved the bar b q and bacon burger. great ice cream. Long drive thru line but in the time we ordered inside it was gone, in about 6-7 minutes. First time there. Not from the area, but will go again when we are there. Only negative is we dont live closer. :)

I recently visited Fifties while visiting the Jamestown area and had a delightful experience. The food quality was a solid 4 out of 5. I had a double cheese burger meal. It was a good quantity of food for the price, though the burger was just a touch dry. The other members of my party also enjoyed dishes that all had a nostalgic touch, bringing back the flavors of what classic American cuisine must have been. The aesthetics of Fifties are exceptional. The decor transports you back in time with its 1950s style, making it visually an enjoyable place to dine. It's a very clean location though parking is a bit tight with the drive-through running so close to it. Overall, Fifties is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy good food in a charming, retro setting. I highly recommend giving them a try

The food was really good. I had a great tasting double hot crispy fries and an amazing pumpkin swirl. Best part it was extremely fast. So glad they were open on Sunday's will def be back if im in the area again. I loved it my kids loved it. Def a gem in the rough. Thank you so much for good food.

They have great milkshakes and ice cream here, which is why we stopped this time. I have also eaten lunch and dinner here food is very good. Service was friendly and fast. Update: We stopped in for dinner last night, service and food was consistent with every other visit. We were also able to dine outside and have our dogs with us.

I loved this place when my and my family came up here. Sadly we don't come to Jamestown much anymore but I still have fond memories of this place. The German Chocolate Milkshakes are delicious!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Efficient and effective. Cleanly and able to handle various tasks at once. The food is great. Even won our 9 year old over. The building is old and awkward, not terribly clean. Worn out. But they really keep it up as best they can.

Delicious food and amazing shakes. The little Ricky kids meals are a great deal. A delightful end to our trip to visit the Lucy Desi Museum! Makes me wanna sing babalu!

50 kids said simple. Delicious hamburgers anyway you want them, hot dogs, a variety of other sandwiches and sides to complement your meal . They make very good milkshakes and the service is polite. There’s plenty of parking alongside the building and behind it.

This unique spot has a Good to Great Menu selection. The Hot Funge Sundae with Whip Cream was an excellent finish. I tried the Grilled Cheese Sandwich and was Happy I did. I like this place, it was a good visit. The Service was Friendly and Helpful.

Excellent stop not far from the highway. Friendly staff. The seating was limited but the menu has plenty to offer. I had the Banana swirl of the month and that was probably the best soft serve I’ve tasted.

Stopped here because the kids really wanted milkshakes. Fifties did not disappoint. A wide variety of food choices are available. They have something for everyone. And many milkshake and sundae options as well. Everything was delicious. Loved the environment and enjoyed our lunch and milkshake meal!

It's a great little dineresque restaurant with a drive through and great service as well as a fantastic ice cream lineup.

The soft serve ice cream is very good here. My son likes the coffee milk shake . Quick service, employees helped each other, no excessive socializing in that sometimes takes place leaving customers wondering what they are working to accomplish. Would go back.

Update: I went here to pick up lunch at the request of a coworker. The two young ladies at the drive thru window were very polite and courteous. I still wish they would go back to their old buns, they increased the flavors of the grilled chicken sandwiches! I used to order a chicken sandwich from here 2 to 3 days a week for lunch. They used to come on nice rolls and they were delicious sandwiches. Now they come on flimsy hamburger buns. The lady said they have sourdough but she would have to charge me an extra dollar because they are out of the Kaiser rolls. She was the manager. Not good service. I went to Arby's instead.

Fifties Grill and Dairy — honestly, it’s not really a 50s vibe, but the food? Fried, greasy, and sooooo good, just like the 50s. Staff are… a mixed bag. Some are amazing, some are straight-up “why are you even here?” energy. Ice cream cones are INSANELY HUGE. I mean, Mount Everest-level huge — you’ll need both hands, a small ladder, and maybe a sherpa just to finish one. The fried pickle tastes exactly how a fried pickle should: crispy, tangy, perfect. Loaded fries are great, and most of the food is wonderful, though the mozzarella sticks could use a few more seconds in the fryer. Overall: greasy, fun, ice cream that could double as a mountain, fried pickles done right — just prepare for a rollercoaster of service.

It's pretty pricey and other than that people don't pay attention or listen well my order was messed up and I went inside and ordered!I didnt complain about it,just won't be going there again anytime soon.

This is a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter and then get your order when your order number is called. The chicken fingers and fries were so hot when we got them, we could barely even eat them. No 50s music was playing in the restaurant (we heard "Jump In the Line" by Harry Belafonte), and the decor was drab. Good for a quick meal with the kiddies.

The food was bland, no seasoning on the meat or fries, not even salt. The burger Patty was very juicy though so that made up nearly for the zero seasoning. They put a very thin layer of Mayo on one side of the bread. Overall, meh. Small ice cream was huge though.

The food and ice cream have been great as long as they have been open. If you like the food, please avoid looking around the dinning room and what you can see behind the counter (both locations) - they are filthy! They should have taken advantage of the pandemic shutdown to do some deep cleaning. Yuck.

I was attending this location at 4:15 today with my family for diner. The staff was extremally vulgar and inappropriate with the conversations they were having, I spoke to the manager which was taken back by me addressing the situation. I had a young child with me and she did not need to listen to that. I requested the owners name and the manager refused to provide it. I do not recommend bringing children inside to eat at this location on Washington street in Jamestown. The food was great but the service is terrible.

Stopped here on way through Jamestown because it sounded amazing. The most amazing part was how much we spent. Food was sub par. The 2 chicken sandwiches the kids had were not finished, one was ok-ish in taste, the other too rubbery to eat. The ft line hot dogs were ok but lacked in flavor, unless loaded with cheese and chili. Both fries and onion rings under cooked. Would have understood if the seemed busy, but they weren't. We chalked it up to we spent $50 for an experience 🤦🏼‍♀️

You go there and for 2 meals it’s $25. We ask for extra sauces and never get them. On top of sitting in the drive thru for almost 12 minutes waiting for our order. Honestly better off going to Applebee’s.

Washington Street restaurant needs to hire better help but I know it's difficult to find these days. 17 minutes for a 5 piece chicken tenders and fries with an empty dinning room and only 3 cars in line. Ridiculous, stood there watching the employees goof off and screw up orders. One car pulled away from the place, worst experience I've ever had there. Food is good but the help isn't good enough. That's all I have to say about that 💯🤷‍♂️

Food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. We ate in, but they served our food in a take out bag, which was inconvenient. The employees were loud and obnoxious the whole time we were inside. Then they advertise soft serve flavored ice cream, which is a joke. Ordered a black raspberry, and it was 95% or more vanilla ice cream with tiny ribbons of supposed black raspberry, but it mostly tasted like vanilla. Will never visit any of their locations after this experience.

Didn’t have a lid that fit the ice cream so it started melting all over my car, barely any toppings and the fries had clearly been sitting out tasted terrible.

So me and my cousin ordered from 50s grill and diner(drive thru) and we ordered enough food for 2 people, somehow they forgot her footlong hotdog and knew they forgot So she calls them she goes to pick up(we live like over 5 miles form the place) and they do not make her a new one and she gets nothing for going back there even though they screwed up, which they did not apologize for Have not had a problem with the place until now, if you going in to get food, fine However if you are having it delivered, i highly recommend you don't as if they cannot manage their drive thru, how can they completely manage things like door dash?

The food was very basic/low quality and the ice cream (although there's a million options of flavors) was not really great quality tasting ice cream. No gluten free options. We were traveling through and tried it because of the star rating, but my husband and I were disappointed. Not horrible, but we expected better for the price we payed. Cute 50s diner, but overpriced. The staff was friendly and patient. Just not great quality food, and that's what we were looking for.

Drove 20 minutes got there at 9:05. Was turned away and told they were closed even though their hours clearly state they close at 9:30. They weren’t polite about it even, extremely rude not worth the drive into town.

Used to be our favorite place. The menu has consistently shrunk, the service is poor and the dining room is filthy.

Went in there at about 11 for work lunch and the service was bad .food was messed up .very rude the male with make up flirted with my boyfriend which was not ok.the two other female workers were rude and very slow on purpose.thry were very rude and obnoxious and wore no gloves and one girl who seemed sick or runny nose kept using her shirt to wipe her nose.never going there again ..

They can’t even make a simple hot dog. I ordered a foot-long hotdog All I wanted was a nacho cheese and bacon. They handed me a jalapeño hotdog I gave it back. They thought I wouldn’t notice that they scraped the jalapeños off except for they were so small minded that they missed a couple and when I called them back, the manager had so many excuses and was like I didn’t even realize they did that. Horrible customer service and I’ve literally never gotten an order there that was correct not to mention they’re actually expensive so you would think they’d know how to make a simple, hot dog and fry

Paid nine dollars for chili cheese fries that came with no chili or cheese basically pics Attached called 50s back. The lady said she felt like she did it correctly. Asked her for her name she wouldn’t give me her name. That’s is horrible. Definitely sticking to johnnys lunch for my chili fries.

That's been busy when I was there. Not a place I would recommend, But maybe some of your local might have known something better to order, maybe the ice cream is delicious. Not a fan of the food.
