Kim, the owner was so wonderful!. We had ridden about 200 miles in the heat on motorcycles. We stopped to grab a bite and ask to use her water hose out back.She brought out ice and let us use the water to cool down our riding vest. What a great gesture on her part! Thanks Kim! P.S. They serve an awesome burger and amazing milkshakes. Service is usually very fast, but it can get busy and can be a bit of a wait for your order. They also have the best prices in jamestown for a burger and fries. Definitely a must stop if visiting Jamestown.

This is a local burger joint. They've been around for decades - I remember my dad bringing me here on our way to the state park about 20 years ago (Where did the time go, man?). They've got the staples - burgers, fries, shakes, nuggets. Where they shine is the menu options that go above and beyond what a typical burger stand would do, but never making it feel 'extra.' Their base menu has some gems. Mini corn dogs, slushes, floats, a variety of shake flavors beyond the classic trio. Want a different kind of float? They'll put ice cream over any soda you ask for. Aant your cone dipped in something other than chocolate? You have options. And while, usually, variety comes with frequent outages or a hit to quality, they nail it every time, and very rarely have they been out of something I wanted. My recommendation: stock up for the drive. The mini corn dogs are a fantastic road snack, and their banana shake is killer.

Just like when I was a little kid. A must stop when traveling through Jamestown.

Ice cream is good, burgers are made with fresh ingredients and pretty tasty, and their peanut butter milkshake is divine. Good little restaurant and definitely worth checking out if you're stopping through town or a local.

What an amazing experience! Drove through Jamestown on a road trip and stopped here when it was about 110 outside. The food was delicious, the place was cool and clean, and the service was awesome. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

We always like to stop here before we leave Sonora on our way back home to Suisun. It's a long drive, and some burgers and milkshakes keep the kids full all the way home. It was also kind of cool to see all young, energetic girls and women running the whole show the afternoon we drove through. Good job, ladies! Show 'em how it's done!

This place is fantastic. Being my first time, I was worried about the size of the portions. Got a double cheeseburger, and mother of God it was great. I think it was 1/3 lb patties with all the fixings and a legit bun. Fries were crispy and very well done. Staff was great as well. There is no reason to swing by and grab a burger. Do yourself a favor.

This is a cool little drive in/diner type place. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the food is always really good, staff is super nice and efficient, and it's really clean. Worth stopping in if you're looking for some good food, and like the kinda 50s(ish) diner type vibe.

From the moment I stopped by, I was greeted by a very kind young man. I ordered sweet potato fries, a cheeseburger, and a root beer float. The fries are not soggy, they are so crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Together it came out to less than 18.00 not including the tip. It seems like you can also eat inside, looks like there's a drive thru as well along with a side window for others who dont want to go into the building. There is also one large picnic table that people can eat on if they chose to dine-in. They wrap the burgers in what seems like replicas of paper with images of old newspaper 🗞️ reports which makes it more interesting to see what the timely news was in that year.

Not the cheapest burger joint by far, but you definitely get what you pay for. This cute little roadside stop not only has some of the tastiest burgers and crispiest fries, but all of their ice cream, shakes and floats are lactose free ! Which more than makes it up for my wallet. everyone can enjoy an icy sweet treat

Old school vibes, solid drive-in type food, though I wish their bathrooms were nicer. Road tripping? Don't forget to grab a puppaccino for your dog and make their day.

My wife and I come here every time we visit the area for camping, hiking, or backpacking. This place is legit good and their ice cream cones are the best! I recently came here after a solo backpacking trip in the Emigrant Wilderness. I went straight here after and ordered their Double Cheese burger meal with a Large Ice Cream.

My partner was craving ice cream and after a quick internet search we were blessed to find the Jamestown Frosty. The tables were filled with families enjoying each other's company. While waiting for our order a young man "Joe" showed up with his elderly parents. We offered to share our table and they joined us. "Bob" knew the owner so she came out to say Hi. The entire experience was amazing. The vanilla/chocolate malt was on point!!! Can't wait to visit again.

We do to-go orders here so I don't know much about the atmosphere but their burgers are definitely the better of the two around town. We LOVE the ice cream too. Their servings match their prices! We get plenty of fries with each order, our burgers were big, and our small cones had so much ice cream!

I had come here for the ice cream cones growing up, my husband knew I loved the cones then so took me for a dinner date. Oh. My. Goodness! The food is absolutely delicious! It's a must stop at location when you travel this way! I've already been 2 more times since Labor Day weekend. 🫣

Absolutely delicious bacon cheeseburger and fries!! They are all soo very friendly and that to me is super important. They place is very clean and same with the restroom. Also the frosty 🤤 is the best in the world as far as I’m concerned. Fun fact it’s dairy free.. that is a small!!! 😳

5/5/5. This is based off of their burgers and fries, mostly. Its what I use to judge most places. You won't find a better burger without maybe going to the bay area and that's not even considering the price. Burgers and fries are cheaper than most places around even though the quality smashes EVERYTHING else out of the park. Might be one of the best burgers I've ever had. And the burger alone I think is around seven dollars and change if I remember right? Maybe eight. The ice cream i don't know much about personally, other than I know the basic milkshakes I've gotten were fantastic. (Not a big ice cream guy so not sure how prices compare to other places) the fries are great and well seasoned but I will say stick with the fries over onion rings. To me they just tasted like oil, and the fries are way too much better to pass on for sad rings. Its the only thing that isn't 5 stars there.

I love Jamestown Frosty ! Their Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich is Amazing! All the fries are seasoned and so good! And of course, the strawberry and hot fudge sundae is to die for!

Great food. Frosties were great size in the mini for me and husband as we didn't want a big size. Mini corn dogs had a great crunch to them and onion rings were crunchy on outside and juicy inside. Friendly, welcoming staff esp being the first day of the year! Look forward to stopping by again.

Got here as they flipped the light on and were served INSTANTLY! The burger tasted like a burger should, from the patty to the lettuce, all was well. Fries are frozen, but that’s to be expected.

We had burgers and fries and they were hot, fresh and delicious. Obviously hand formed, seasoned patties and crisp produce. It’s so small, it could easily be passed by, but do yourself a favor if you’re hungry and stop. The staff was friendly and I highly recommend Frosty.

We stopped at this Frosty on our way to a backpacking trip. Honestly I could of ate anything, but the chicken sandwich was out of this world! The fries were good as well and they gave me a filling portion. The staff was great overall. On the way back from our trip we stopped to enjoy some dairy free soft serve! We were craving it our entire trip. I highly recommend if your in the area!

Quick, polite service. My boys loved the soft serve ice cream and I loved their crispy fries.

They have good shakes multiple flavors banana strawberry chocolate vanilla to my other fancy ones. Ice cream cone vanilla or swirl. A medium ice cream cone is $3 and very very large. Very good hamburgers. When they're open they can be crowded because they seem to be a favorite with the crowd.

When they say large soft serve ice cream they mean LARGE!!!! If you're a slow eater of ice cream you might want it served in a cup. Awesome people who work there, very friendly. Their burgers & fries are very good. I just wish they could/would do something about all the flies by the order & pick up windows, it's gross & unappetizing. I had a fly dive bomb my cone, I didn't feel much like eating it after that. :-(

My cheeseburger was very bland and not enjoyable. Also, way over priced for a super small batch of fries my combo came with, and the burger was also very small. I gave it a 4 star for customer service and location. The staff were super friendly!

Had a bacon cheeseburger, spicy fries and iced tea. Burger was very good, cooked well, but not over cooked. Produce was fresh, and the sauce excellent. The spicy fries are basically just seasoned criss cut fries, not spicy at all, but still very good. The tea has lemon in it, not bad, but I don't care for lemon in my tea, but not a deal breaker at all. The wait was not unexpected, this location is often quite busy, and since they don't make it till you order it, it's well within reasonable times. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch, and would recommend.

Burgers are great, fries are home made, large root beer floats are great and remind me of when I was a kid. Mini corn dogs corn bites are prefect for kids. Bring an out of state license plate to be a part of this old school diner. This place feelings me of the burger joints I frequented growing up in the 80's. Old fashion picnic benches in the shade and very simple indoor seating. I would have given them five stars but they were so busy and short handed that I cleared my own table so I could sit. Over all very good place stop for a burger, fries, onion rings, frosty, root beer float.

The food was good. The fries are great. Service was really good with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. There are two things in my opinion could be better. First is the burger buns. They are a little dry and hard for my taste. The meat is great but a brioche bun would be better. Second is the sweet potato fries, while cooked well they could use some seasoning. We enjoyed the food that we came back a few days layer. Kids loved the rootbeer floats!

The shakes and the food are delicious but the flies are overly abundant. It would be nice to see the tables wiped down and the floor mopped/and or at least swept. I like the milkshakes a lot. The food is alright but I think it's a little expensive for what you get. I liked the burger more than I liked the fries, but I was also extremely dehydrated when I went and I swear the fries just made me thirstier. Anyway it's good enough, but I wouldn't say the food was amazing.

Burger and fries are good. It was crowded so it was a bit slow. A nasty smell drifted from the kitchen while I was ordering. I think it's time to change the fryer oil. No meal combos. Large fries are meant for two or more people.

Frosty is a classic joint that's known for soft serves and shakes. We stopped in for a cheese burger with fries and a shake. The burger buns were dry but not as dry as the patty. Meat was over cooked and didn't taste like quality beef. The tomatoes were small and diffrent thicknesses and the sauces didn't cover the bun. A lack luster attempt at a burger. The fries were mid as you can't really mess up frozen product that's on a timer. The mint shake was the only thing I did finish cause who doesn't like a good shake and a big straw. I spent 65$ for 3 burgers and fries with 2 shakes. All in all I will skip the food here for now on and stick to the sweets.

Really good presentation...took to long to serve....not enough employees....but it was worth the wait!!! The benches outside wobble to much and the bbq sauce sucks. Like I said food was great but they need to get more help behind the counter.

Awesome soft serve dipped and real banana milkshakes. Did i mention the fries rock also? EDIT REVIEW. 1/30/26 I decided to re do my review. To be fair, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries today. 1 word. STALE BUN. I had to remove the top to eat the burger. Two teeny tiny pieces of tomato that were about 1 inch. Not a good burger at all, unfortunately. The fries are coated and not as good as fresh cut fries. It seems everyone is going to these fries lately 😔.

The food and ice cream were fairly unremarkable. Service was friendly. In general it was nothing to write home to mom about. The number of flies though was a huge problem. So many flies were outside that we had to go inside after ordering. Even in that enclosed eating area there were so many that we had to take our meal to the car to eat in peace. Can't say I'd go back.

This used to be a great burger joint. Today we paid $22 for 2 plain burgers and fries and 1 drink. The burgers are now those horrid frozen patties that I'm not sure are 100% meat and they tasted like cardboard. And they didn't even get the burgers the way we ordered. Won't be going back.

This place was dirty and the burgers were... Let's just say we threw ours away after a bite. Woulda been better off at a fast food joint. The wife got a dipped ice cream cone and she said that was tasty. So, I guess Frosty is worth 1 star, but honestly it should only be half a star. I can't give a half star, so Frosty is getting more credit than deserved.

Drove from Copper to try this place for lunch before work. The young man behind the counter was trying really hard, but I had to repeat my drink 3 times (and was still brought the wrong drink at first); and then on my way to work ; I realized the Burger came with all the toppings when I had specified ketchup lettuce onion. I can't eat the Frosty sauce. Wasted 1HR in the car and 16$ for this. Slow your employees down. I'm a first time guest and can't even review the food

Please save your money and your family and skip out on this one. Pay a little extra for in town or go to a fast food chain. Burrito was literally a frozen monterey burrito, dry cheese burger and this was the fish and chips! Only thing slightly edible was the French fries. Staff seemed to be very confused as well. Items forgotten, milkshakes never made, and given wrong items after asking for them.
