Me encanta!
Easter Sunday, torrential rain, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant near our hotel. A good choice... friendly and prompt service, a good variety of dishes, including meat and fish. The grilled squid was tender and cooked to perfection. Good value. It's worth returning to try the meat.
What a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant! From the outside, it doesn't look like what you'll find inside: a traditional atmosphere, with spacious and beautiful rooms. The food was delicious, especially the braised pork cheeks and the serranito (a small sandwich with pork loin), which were absolutely divine. The waitress's service was excellent, and the speed with which our food was served was truly remarkable. We will definitely be back…
A great place to have tapas, eat, or celebrate many things. Great meats, fish, desserts, and good wines to accompany the dishes. Huge interior dining room with a wood-burning fireplace. Very cozy 🥰 And another very charming terrace-like room at the entrance. In good weather, they also have a terrace on the street. Be extra attentive 💯🎂👌
We went to visit some friends in Jerez, and they took us to this restaurant for lunch, where we had a fantastic time. The quality/price ratio is very good, and although the dining room where we ate is in a warehouse with no special atmosphere, the service was very good, and the food was well-served and on time. I'm especially grateful that the children's orders arrived before the adults'.
Salón amplisimo con techos muy altos, buena sensación al entrar. El servicio, inmejorable; personal muy atento con un trato correctisimo y amable hacia el cliente. El ambiente tranquilo y distendido, casi familiar. Recomiendo do volver.
The food is good. There's a varied menu and good prices. The service is good. The place is very pretty, an old Jerez wine cellar, and has a large terrace outside. The desserts could be improved; they're not exquisite. They have good meat and fish dishes. Homemade stews are served, and good burgers for the little ones. The dishes are hearty and high-quality. The place is very large and you can't reserve, but the outside terrace does get busy, and it's best to reserve for that part, which is ideal during the pandemic. I recommend it to those who like to eat well. I've been there several times and always leave with a good taste. The menu is varied, there's good service, well-prepared food, a beautiful location, and good prices. I continue to recommend it.
Spectacular, every time I'm in Jerez, it's a must-stop. I've attached photos from last time, but if I had to recommend one, it would be the cheek rice. I went with my wife and there was food for three, just from the paella pan. The service is excellent, and the staff is on par with such a high-quality restaurant; all are highly qualified. Easy parking, good location... We'll come back. Every time I'm in Jerez, it's a must-stop. It's become my favorite dish. In this case, I'll show you the cheek rice... I've never tasted anything better in my life. Speaking of which, someone who knows a thing or two about cooking really cares. This place takes great care of the food. If you like desserts, this is your place. They also have homemade ice cream, and aside from all that, they have a display case with local artisanal products, cheeses, etc. Of all the places I've visited, and there are quite a few, this is by far the best.
There are no coincidences! We stumbled upon this place right in the middle of rush hour, and they seated us in under three minutes. We had a tapa of cabbage stew that gave us energy and cheer for the whole week, and the cod scramble was delicious too. The staff were lovely, and we were thrilled and can't wait to go back.
The waiter was very, very nice. I don't understand how this place could be empty, at least at the time I went. The food is very good, with good portions. No complaints. It meets all the food's standards: cleanliness, good quantity, good price, and good service. The photos show some pieces I've already stolen, except for the squid and eggplant. 6 people, 84.30 euros, but really, for 60 euros, since the squid was 20 euros and we were already stuffed, it was very, very cheap, 10-16 euros per person.
Come and enjoy these delicious delicacies of Spanish cuisine.
An ideal place for a family meal. Exquisite Iberian pork and Retinta beef, as well as fresh fish and seafood from the bay. A good selection of local wines and friendly, attentive, and efficient service. It's one of our go-to restaurants, and I highly recommend it as a culinary experience. Don't miss the dressed potatoes. They're unique!
A wonderful place to go to eat, with class, magnificent customer service, exceptional quality and price, the food is excellent! We will repeat.
The food is very good. The portions are large.
Large, cool tavern, plenty of space and room for many people. The food is very good, the service is quite fast, and the price is very good. We will come back whenever we go to Jerez.
A great place to go with family, friends, or as a couple. Excellent service, attentive waiters, and delicious food. We had a very pleasant time. We will definitely return.
A very good place to eat. Reasonable prices. The place is quaint; it's an old winery, and the decor is kept in that style. We really liked it.
Fresh, high-quality produce, a spacious location, and friendly and attentive service. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.
A good restaurant
Very good food in a beautiful place.
Good quality food. Generous portions at a good price. Good service. Children's area (inflatable play structure).
Excellent in every way, I loved it!! Everything was perfect, very grateful for your attention, we will definitely come back, thank you!!
exquisite
The seafood is delicious and reasonably priced, and the tuna ham is excellent. Any portion you order is good and plentiful.
A very welcoming old wine cellar. The staff is very professional, attentive, and friendly. The meats are of excellent quality, and the presentation of the dishes is fantastic. Honestly, for those of us who are carnivores, just looking at the meat display case makes our mouths water. A very varied menu, for all tastes and budgets. Desserts that are eye-catching. Another place you can't miss if you're passing through Jerez, and if you're from there, don't even think about it. Highly recommended.
We had a great lunch here, the Presa Iberico was excellent. The food arrived almost instantly after ordering. We sat in the small space with a few tables at the entrance with a view of the impressive bar, the rest of the restaurant is the size of an aircraft hanger.
Beautiful place, amazing food, and without a doubt, spectacular and very organized service. A place to definitely return to.
A great place. Very beautiful. Very good food. And at this time of year, perfect for experiencing a zambomba (traditional Christmas carol singing).
The inside smelled really bad. It was very large, and felt empty and cold even though there were people there.
Next to the bullring, it looks small, but it's anything but. The food is great and not sparse at all. I hope to return again.
Excellent lunch, great staff, thanks for everything Juan.
Exquisite food. Very good service. Good and plentiful food.
Not only is the food delicious, but they also have refreshing desserts perfect for summer!
We had a lunch with colleagues and everything was great. The place is a wine cellar and has been renovated. It's beautifully decorated with Christmas motifs. The service was fast and attentive. The food was excellent and of high quality. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere
They're very careful with allergens and have many gluten-free options. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent.
Good place for dinner!
We went on a friend's recommendation, and she definitely gave us a good recommendation. All the food we ordered arrived quickly, and most importantly, it was delicious. We ordered some cheek pouches and some goat cheese pouches, and I couldn't tell you which was better. We also ordered some crispy spicy prawns, and they were also delicious. And then we ordered Iberian pork shoulder, which came with three very large steaks on a bed of potatoes. And for dessert, without a doubt the best, the Empress cake. I also have to mention the customer service, which was 10/10. The waiter who served us was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back if I return to Jerez.
Magnificent, a great place to spend some quality time with family and friends. The meat is cooked very well and the service is excellent. One of the few restaurants where the waiters are professional and friendly, some even wearing perfume. I'll be back.
Beautiful winery restaurant!!!
Specializing in traditional cuisine, it's impossible to eat here without being reminded of the best roadside inns in the mountains of Andalusia or Extremadura. It's definitely highly recommended. The staff is wonderful, and the portions are generous and very reasonably priced. They have an outdoor area and grill, an indoor dining room, and a very cozy fireplace.
A lovely place. Huge space, delicious food, and very attentive staff. I would go back today.
delicious, cozy environment, friendly staff
We're not from Jerez. We went for dinner and received wonderful service, explaining the dishes and giving us excellent advice. The dishes are spectacular, beautifully prepared and presented. Thank you for everything.
Excellent menu with excellent service. Delicious dressings, fresh fish of the day, and a wide variety of meats. Generous portions with excellent value. A must-try in Jerez.
We parked by chance right outside and were surprised by the place. Quick and good service.
I love the place, the service, the staff, and the food are all 10/10... good prices and spectacular food. I always go once a month. I recommend everything, but the best thing is the hake loin in brandy ☺, finger-licking good. On birthdays, they play the event's song, and everything is 11/10 👍
A very spacious, beautiful, and well-air-conditioned place that serves generous portions at a reasonable price. We ordered three very good starters; I especially liked the tropical salad. For our first course, we tried the ribeye steak, which is priced by weight and easily feeds three people. It cost us €49 and was well worth it. I also tried the lamb chops, which were delicious, and the side dishes were fantastic. Finally, the service was very friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious. Traditional and high-quality. The service was fantastic and fast. Reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very pleasant, especially the beautiful patio.
Good food, good service, excellent value, and a traditional setting. Try it.
A great place to eat. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, of course. The waiters are very friendly.
Exceptional food, affordable prices and well presented
🦋 A must in the city! For lunch on Holy Saturday with the family, we ordered: 🍽 Cabbage 🍴 Squid 🍖 Grilled Grill 🥩 Iberian Lizard 🍘 Fried Cuttlefish 🍷 Sherry: Amontillado, Oloroso, and Fino 🍰 And for dessert: Tocino de cielo (tomato with cream). 🦋 👌🏻 Great atmosphere, great service, and great prices! ✅ A place to come back to.
Good service, quality products and facilities.
Excellent.
A good place, highly recommended for good food, good value for money. Very attentive at all times.
Good service, congratulations to the restaurant and the best thing is that the food is gluten-free for celiacs.
Extremely large yet cozy dining room. Professional and friendly waiters. Quality and abundant food. The grill is top-notch and knows how to handle its products very well. A must-visit if you come to Jerez. A huge thank you to Chato and Yoni for making our lunch so enjoyable.
Nice to have met you. Excellent. Very good!!!
The food was exquisite and plentiful. The honeyed eggplants were spectacular, the fish was fresh, and the Iberian cured meat toast was exquisite and plentiful. The place was elegant and cozy, and the waiters were very friendly. They even bought us a shot, ahh, and the price was great!
Good location, typical Jerez winery building, good atmosphere, good food at a good price, close to the bullring, parking a bit complicated.
Excellent value for money and very good service
My satisfaction was great, the service from the waiters who served us was wonderful.
A spectacular place with quality food, plenty of it, and a good price. Highly recommended 👌🏻
A great place for dinner or tapas with family or friends. Excellent staff. I enjoyed it.
Tranquility and exceptional service. Good wines, good food, a pleasant atmosphere at very reasonable prices... What more could you ask for?
Excellent, the place, the food and the service
We've been here several times and have absolutely zero complaints. A very cool place to enjoy food and drinks. It also has typical Jerez decor and is a tribute to the city's legendary bullring. It's also suitable for large celebrations, as the venue is quite large.
In all honesty, I have to say that after a long time without going to this establishment, the change for the better has been unbeatable in every way, the food was excellent, the fish was the best in Jerez, the service was very good, I would like to highlight the professionalism, how smart a waitress called Inma seemed when working, friendly, very attentive, I want to congratulate her for her dedication and professionalism.
Nice place, good service, and good food. Worth a visit again. Enjoy both in the dining room and on the terrace. Open Wednesday through Sunday.
A huge, well-maintained place with friendly and attentive service. The food is served in generous quantities and of excellent quality, and everything is reasonably priced. Everything was delicious, and we left with a very good taste in our mouths. We'll definitely be back.
Four of us went for dinner, both tapas and generous portions. We ordered salad, cuttlefish, pavia, croquettes, crispy shrimp, tuna belly, and culant dessert. Overall, it was quite good. The waiters and waitresses were attentive, and the food came out super fast. We'll return because the price-performance ratio is quite good.
Good service, excellent meats and typical Cádiz cuisine
Not only is the food excellent, but they also pay attention to every detail. This is how Manzanilla wine is served.
A pleasant surprise in the heart of Jerez. We ordered baked sea bass with potatoes and vegetables, delicious. Suitable for two very hungry people, or for more, order another starter.
Some friends took us there, and we really liked it. The river prawns and seafood rice were particularly good.
El sitio espectacular. La atención muy correcta. La comida buena. La carne muy tierna.Aconsejable. No pongo cinco estrellas porque el salmorejo estaba muy líquido y echamos de menos unas rodajas de buen tomate de acompañamiento a la carne, o unos pimientos.
A pleasant place to eat meat, especially with a place for children to play. Easy parking in the area. Good service
The service was very good. The food was wonderful.
IT'S AN OLD WINERY, IDEAL FOR CELEBRATIONS. I'VE PASSED BY THE DOOR MANY TIMES, BUT NEVER ENTERED. IT'S NEXT TO THE BULLRING. I HAVE GOOD REFERENCES FOR SERVICE, QUALITY, AND PRICES.
Good restaurant next to the Jerez Bullring. The food is delicious, with generous portions. The service is excellent.
Great value for money, varied menu, and fast, friendly service. Reservations are essential.
Good quality, large site with a castle for the little ones
It's an old winery converted into a restaurant with a good menu and good service, and the prices are reasonable for what they offer.
This restaurant has a spacious dining room. It offers a menu of typical Andalusian dishes at a very good price. The service is good and the location is central.
Spectacular place to eat. Very spacious and with excellent staff. Long live the Zambombás here.
I was surprised; a pleasant place, good quality meats, and good desserts.
I've been there on several occasions, and all have been for drinks. Today we had lunch, and the service was excellent, especially the sirloin steak—truly tender, cooked to perfection, and juicy. Everything was very good. I recommend it.
Looking forward to returning and even more so in December with the zambomba
Everything is very good but the rice is yellow rice and it must also be said that it is very cheap.
All good, there is no need for music, with the murmur of the people it is not heard and it only makes noise and bothers.
Quality food at an affordable price
Good price quality
A very nice and spacious place. The service is good, and the food is generally quite good. The price was in line with the service and quality of the food.
Good place for celebrations, eating or tapas at the bar
If you're turning around Cadiz for some days... It may come the time you feel like having some beef. This is the place to taste some retinto meat, is juicy, tender and plenty of flavour. Of course fish is a perfect option too (choco I love you!)
Good meat. Good prices. Nice, large place.
Good food and good price
Excellent, good service, very good food and great value for money, I will return and probably very soon.
I go with my grandchildren because they have a phenomenal bouncy castle inside. The seafood stews and marinade are fantastic. The service is young, polite, and very helpful.
Delicious food at a good price.
I think we were unlucky when we went because the restaurant itself looks good. We didn't have a reservation and they put us on a waiting list, but they saw we looked like tourists and let half the restaurant cut in front of us. Once inside, it took quite a while to serve us. In fact, I'm still waiting for the glass we asked for so one of my friends could have some water (we ended up having to share a glass). As for the food, it left a lot to be desired… We ordered dressed tomatoes and they brought us, literally, a sliced tomato, without oil, salt, or anything. The salad was hard and dry. The dressed potatoes never even arrived. The only decent thing was the salmorejo, which was very tasty. That said, I think the place is very nice, very cool, and has a great atmosphere.
A very spacious restaurant; from the outside, I didn't imagine it would have so many tables. There are many employees, but because of the number of tables, service is slow... not everyone can take your order. I found the quality-price ratio a bit high. The half portion seemed very small. The meat was fabulous, and a nice bonus was the grill where you could cook it to your liking. Many tables ordered the same dish. The location is very good, close to the center, although parking is more difficult.
The dishes are quite substantial and quite cheap. The only drawback is paper napkins and small plates (depending on the market), so you're going in blind when asking for the bill.
Very tasty starters, very large place, rice,,,to throw it away, the worst I've ever tried, delicious desserts, but that rice, my God, what have we done to be treated like this, one of the worst I've ever tried, it has spoiled the experience,
The place has a good atmosphere and the service is very good. The food is good but you have to know what to order. We got several dishes right but made mistakes in others. For example, the pork shoulder with potatoes was very good but the Iberian lizards were not good at all... another example, the potato salad was exquisite but the croquettes were better not to order, they looked like they were industrial. The desserts were very good, the ice cream scoops but the ice cream cakes were better not to order.
A great steak, the perfect location but I had the feeling of being at an event, it didn't seem like a restaurant, but in good terms
Good place, they make good zambombas and spacious place
Restaurant in the heart of a winery. Good atmosphere, nice decor, acceptable food, and good value, except during mid-week (market-based prices), when it's best to be cautious and ask before ordering. At least during Christmas, they offer company lunches, but they don't increase staff. I don't know if they're less overwhelmed on quieter days. The experience wasn't bad, really.
Passed on everything, outstanding on nothing. A very nice, spacious, yet still quite cozy place.
The place is nice, but the food tasted like it came from a Chicote dinner party. The Iberian ham was straight from the blister pack without even being separated to disguise it, the John Dory was frozen fish, and we had to send the potato salad back. On top of that, the waiters were completely inattentive. They kept forgetting to bring our drinks, and we had to call out to them constantly to remind them we were there. It's a shame because the place itself is beautiful.
Nice and well decorated, thank goodness. But for food... I don't recommend it. Six of us ate with different dishes. We all laughed because coming to Jerez and eating so-so... We haven't had such a bad meal in years. I won't post any photos of the dishes. On the bright side, when we left, the waiter, a guy named Raúl, very artfully invited us to some shots and sweets.
We reserved a table for 9:30 pm, and when we ordered drinks, one came quickly and another we had to be reminded about up to three times. When we ordered baked fish, they warned us it could take up to 20 minutes, which is normal. What wasn't normal was that as soon as they started clearing the plates after we finished eating, they brought us the bill without any explanation. We told them we wanted coffee and drinks, and that's when the bad attitude and rushing started. They kept saying they didn't have what we ordered... and they asked for anise liqueur without ice about three times. And predictably, the anise liqueur came with ice. It was obvious from their "hurry up" attitude... they weren't listening to us. We were having coffee after our meal when the waiters were pacing around the room, looking at us. The music was already off, and the situation was a bit uncomfortable. The bill came to nearly 500 euros for 11 people, and we won't be going back, nor will we recommend it.
We just ate here and the service left much to be desired. The waitress was incredibly rude and impolite. We got confused about the number of diners and she thought we were trying to cheat her. We had to order our drinks countless times, and the children's food didn't arrive until more than half an hour after the adults' food. We almost ended up arguing with her, and the tables around us were in the same boat. It's a real shame, because we've been here several times and have always been very happy, except for today, which was a disaster. I honestly don't think we'll be back.
We had a reservation at 11:00 for a company dinner for 30 people, and at midnight, after an hour, they told us they weren't serving drinks anymore and that they were closing. We had to eat like pigs, and at 12:30 they even turned off the lights. One of the employees was rude the entire time. We arrived early and they wouldn't let us in. The service and treatment were terrible. I will be filing a complaint with the consumer protection office.
Honestly, this year has been awful. I booked a dinner for 30 people, on the condition that it was after 11 pm, and they agreed. Within an hour, we'd eaten hastily, the food was still on the table, and they hadn't even brought any more drinks. We went to take a picture with the pig, and they turned off the lights. By 12:20 am, we were already out on the street, and they had pocketed €1,004... If you can't provide the service, don't take a reservation... I won't be booking at that place again.
We had a rather negative experience at Casa Sánchez. We ordered several starters, cold tapas, main courses, and a couple of grilled dishes, and they served us the entire order at once. Salads, dressed potatoes, croquettes, scrambled eggs, grilled dishes, and more. Everything was served to the table at once, which prevented us from enjoying the meal in peace or eating our dishes without them getting cold. Furthermore, the dishes in general left something to be desired for the price. The grilled dish in particular was the biggest disappointment. Unfortunately, it was a rather negative experience.
Super cool place, great service, but the kitchen has a lot to be desired.
Great
Super expensive. They charge you for bread even if you only have a beer, and they even serve it warm. I won't go back. And the small plates.
