Went last night, where do I start…shoutout to the guy that helped me, very friendly service. Ordered a birria burrito filled with beans and rice among other things - ended up being unable to finish it (a good thing). The horchata was heavenly - would come back!

food was great!!! atmosphere is 5 tables of people enjoying the food and nothing else. Service is 1 girl taking your order and handing you your food in under 3 minutes. Definitely worth your time.

Family loved going to one on La Palma and harbor. At least I'm fairly certain same small chain. Now we don't have to drive down there for one of our favorite tacos. Tastes just like the food from #1. Staff was very friendly.

There were about 8 other customer groups, including one with 2 little ones.. definitely looked like a local favorite with repeating customers.. which will include me..

The food is very good! Had the menudo a few months ago and it was great! Now we are having the tacos and I ordered buche, alpastor, tripas and cabeza and it was tasty. I will keep coming back and order other dishes to give them a try, prices are very reasonable!

The problem was that the food started to taste too much like cumin, and everything was beginning to be put together sloppily, but there were a lot of new hires, so it was all over the place. However, I've returned a few more times and am proud to say that this place is once again the best around. They pack all their food with generous amounts of meat, and I love that all the tacos come "todo aparte," which means all meat; there is a salsa bar to get your own onions and cilantro. The salsa bar is always full of green salsa, spicy red salsa, onions/cilantro, lemons, and pickled red onions with habanero chiles, but don't forget to get the caramelized onions next to the register, it's a pro move. There are so many taco places around, but no one really tends to go above and beyond to serve cooked onions with jalapeños and for free no less! The burritos have more meat than filler ingredients, and everything is absolutely delicious. The moment you take your first bite of their food, something magical happens. Pupils dilate, lips quiver, and memories of your childhood flood into your mind. Recalling the best times when you have been out with your friends and everything was perfect or even the hard ones that were trialing and exhausting, but either way, at the end of any of those days, your mom or abuela had your favorite food waiting for you to conclude the day in the most splendid way possible. Salsa and meat juices trail down your arm as tears of happiness well up in your eyes. The owner of this place works night and day to maintain quality and make sure every plate is handled with love. Once you order, meat is flung onto the chopping boards and diced to perfection. Hot tortillas become this man's canvas as he paints a portrait of cultural magnificance. While ordering your food, the owner is listening and already beginning to assemble your plate. On more than one occasion, I've ordered and gotten my food before I can even get my salsa and onions to go. The staff is always pleasant, and the owner, who wears a black cap with white NY letters, is always so welcoming; even on the busiest of days, they try to give everyone a welcoming smile. The tacos are $1.72 each, which is almost unheard of during these times of inflated prices; my last visit I got 7 tacos for $13.27. They serve tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, volcanes, nachos, and menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are around the area, I urge you to stop by for a taco or two, or even a burrito, if that is your preference, and I know you won't be disappointed.

They're only $1.80 per taco! The price simply can't be beat for such high-quality, mouthwatering tacos. The flavors are unbeatable, and the service is top-notch. My goodness was I impressed. I got their menudo and it was fenomal. It is the best restaurant bought menudo I've had in my life. The flavor was great, portion was huge, and they even had chili oil. We also got tacos de birria, cabeza, asada, and tripa, and they were all bomb. The gentlemen were very nice and humble. I would totally come back a million times. Congratulations to the owners and employees for serving authentic, high quality, and flavorful food. Its hard to get this and they nailed it.

They need a bigger space. It’s good for 1-2 people to sit and eat together. The chairs were too heavy to move around. Otherwise it’s the perfect spot to eat.

Great food and great prices. Usually go for the tacos al pastor. Not a big fan of menudo, but my family that does like it say this is one of the best restaurants to get it from if you're not making it at home. Wish the seating arrangement was a little bigger, but there's only so much you can do with that small of a space

First time ordering here. Service was great, very clean, and placed order by phone. The food was ready when i got there. As for the food, the taste was very good. My family enjoyed tacos, burrito, and nachos, all worth ordering again👍 Sorry, there are no photos as we ate it all😋

Food haves good flavor however, the Aguas frescas are not worth the price. Aguas frescas are $4.00 only one size (see, picture).

So I’ll be honest the food is great it’s top quality. I have been to the other locations and the owner have recommended this spot since it’s closer. I have received amazing customer service at the other locations. With that said I was hoping to get decent service at this location but unfortunately the female lady working on Friday evening shift was very rude the second I greeted her. After tipping them she doesn’t say thank you and gives me a dirty look. The salsa bar empty and I had to wait politely while I was given attitude. The bean rice burrito had no beans. I asked politely and she seemed bothered that I asked. (There were literally no beans!) and they told me they put some in. I was discriminated against because of my race where I can hear the Spanish slurs “chino” (I’m not chinese) and beans in Spanish. Followed by laughter with the customers about me. I will be following up with her manager and make sure that they find out about this. Thank you for ruining my experience here and I hope this review helps a lot of people

I wanted to like this place so much, but my whole family and I were disappointed 😞. After reading some positive reviews I was really excited to try this new place. I ordered 3 burritos: asada, chicken, and al pastor. I was stuck ordering al pastor since they don't offer carnitas as a choice of meat. Wah wah. I also got a quesadilla and bean & cheese burrito. Unfortunately, the food was flavorless, asada a little rubbery, and the burritos had way too much rice. The only plus I do have to recognize is that the staff was truly nice, but I will not be going back.

The pricing goes up a lot at this place. That being said, I ordered an all meat carne asada burrito. The price listed on their video board said $12.50, but I was charged $13.00. The pale skinned, chunky young lady who tries to talk to you only in Spanish was very rude when I explained that the price was different. She shrugged her shoulders, I said so you don't care. So that's why I'm leaving this comment. If she would have been more compassionate everything would have been fine. I took my food to go and when I got it home I noticed it was a very greasy. Honestly, you can find a bigger better burrito at a taco truck All over Whittier for about $10. Try for yourself and make your decision. Hopefully, the young lady taking the orders doesn't give you attitude. I tried the two other locations in Orange County, and they seem to care about their customers more than this location.
