Dave & Buster's - Kansas City

We came to Dave & Busters as a family to have lunch. Our server was Miya, she was absolutely amazing. My family and I didn't have any issues with her. She was on top of everything, with drinks, napkins anything we needed. We didn't have to call her over for anything. She was very professional, respectful and nice. When we come back we're going to request for her. I recommend the customers ask for her as well!

We had such a great experience at Dave & Buster’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Samuel. From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. He checked on us often without being overbearing, made great menu recommendations, and kept our drinks and food coming right on time—even when it got busy. Samuel’s positive attitude and energy really stood out and made our visit even more fun. It’s clear he cares about giving great service, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed. If you’re dining here, ask for Samuel—you won’t be disappointed!

Samuel absolutely made our night at Dave & Buster’s. From the second we sat down, he came in with insane energy, huge smile, and total control of his section. The place was busy but you would’ve thought we were his only table. He had the drinks out fast, made great food recommendations, and even gave us tips on the best games to play and how to maximize our game cards. What really stood out was how on top of everything he was. Refills showed up before we had to ask, he checked in at the perfect times without hovering, and he kept the vibe fun the entire night. At one point we were debating between a few menu items and he broke it down like a pro, even customizing an order for us that ended up being the best thing we had. He handled multiple big groups around us like a rockstar, never flustered, just calm, confident, and efficient. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving people a great experience, not just getting through his shift. If you’re going to Dave & Buster’s, ask for Samuel. He turned a normal night out into an awesome one. Absolute legend of a server.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Dave and Busters in the past, but after coming with my family and having Samuel wait on us for the night, my opinions completely changed! He was attentive and made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed the whole night! This place was awesome and Samuel made our night the best! We will be back!

Wow wow WOW Samuel at Dave and Buster’s absolutely crushed it. Insane energy, super outgoing, and made the whole experience way more fun than expected. If Samuel’s working, you’re guaranteed a great time.

I was first timer at Dave and Busters and I heard a few good things about them prior to going and I have to admit that my experience wasn't bad at all. The staff was friendly and prompt we sat at the bar and enjoyed dinner and a few drinks prior to playing. Dinner was immaculate all of our food was cooked to perfection and seasoned well our drinks were strong and our bartender was sociable. The pricing wasn't too bad spent 130 total for two drinks food and games included. I didn't see any children However it is a family friendly environment.I will say the restrooms need more attention as most of them were not clean so four stars.

I mean, come on, it's Dave n Busters. The food was pretty good. Our server Samuel was very nice, attentive he was not, but they had him doing other things, so we kinda felt neglected. The atmosphere was great it wasn't too loud. The music they were playing was awesome, I knew every song that came on and was dancing in my seat while eating.😆 like I said it's Dave n Busters you know you're going to have a good time just doing go in with super high expectations. It's a family fun attraction experience.

My experience was positive about 10 days ago we ordered hamburgers, we were satisfied and the blond boy who served us was really kind, I recommend it.

ALWAYS a pleasure coming here. Food is great. Service is fast. Drinks are amazing. It gets a bit crowded. Kids under 18 aren't suppose to get in without an adult at least 25 yo. The only down part is more and more little kids are being brought here and it gets crowded. But other then that, if you can get here on the right day and time you will have a ton of fun!

We came in kinda late so we weren't the going to get beat service. We got truffle fries and chicken pasta. The food wasn't bad but the building was freezing. Make sure you are dressed warm.

This is the nicest Dave and Buster's I've been to, and also the largest. There are multiple areas for dinning, including party rooms available for rent. There are two bars and a large number of video and ticket games. Food was good, although the menus were overly sticky and should have been washed or retired. They only have one two player air hockey table (they really should have at least one more). Several of the games were not working or malfunctioned (eg down the clown). Corporate really should overhaul their cocktail menu. There are many fruity/sugary drinks, but basically no traditional cocktails on the menu. There should also be some special for off-hour games on non-weekend nights, including Sunday nights. Half priced Wednesdays are great, but how about showing some additional specials? Games are otherwise full price and run about $1-1.50 per game.

A MUCH better food experience than 3 years ago - the food honestly is something I'd love to come back for! Delicious chicken and mushrooms, delicious burgers, delicious appetizers -- the servings were so large we had to take some home!

The food was amazing. The games were so much fun. The bartender was great. My only complaint would be our waitress, Carrie. She had five tables to wait, but managed to take 40 minutes to refill a drink, even after being asked three times when she would walk by. Then she decided to "supercharge" our game cards without asking, just assuming that we wanted it. Other than that, this was a great experience for my first time at Dave & Busters! I'll definitely come back when I'm in Kansas City again.

Games are amazing and the staff are quick to attend to any issues with the games. The prizes are diverse and accommodate all numbers of people and interests. Really cool and interesting mixed drinks and around 22 beers on tap. The served us our drinks a little slowly at table service buht overall was a good experience. Cannot express how fun the games are! And they are half price on Wednesdays!

Pretty pleased with out meals. I had the Latin Life Bowl and Fried Califlower. I Added salmon to my bowl and the flavors were awesome! Definitely great for a vegetarian. Husband had the Cheese Burger and Fries and he wasn't impressed. I would recommend for a quick bite.

It’s a great place to go out with friends and family, or even on a date night. Wr were there on Saturday, it was pretty busy. Were sitting at the bar. Food was amazing, ordered Grilled ribs and Caesars salad with shrimps. It took a little bit too long to order, and than a little bit too long to check out 🤷‍♀️ Games: Games are fun, but this time actually couple machines were broken. Besides that there still big choice of different arcades.

The food was surprisingly incredible. I was expecting your typical bar food, but it was delicious! The mixed drinks were a little heavy on the sweet & sour but other than that, no complaints. The games were fun, I like how they have little tables set up everywhere for your drinks so you can play with both hands. Will be going back!

Of the dozens of times we've been to Dave & Busters this is the first time actually dining there. I was pleasantly surprised by the food & very reasonable prices. We'll be back.

This is my families tradition to come the day after Thanksgiving for the last 14 years. This was the first time I was disappointed in the food. Fish and chips but no malt vinegar, was told the corporation ni longer buys it. The truffle fries were cold, I had to box up my meal so can take it home to eat it. Server was great, he's been our server several times over the years....no complaints. Condiments are very important and after a big heavy Thanksgiving dinner, I always look forward to the fish and chips here...no longer.

Service was great once we got seated (Shout out to Ernie on the great service!). It took 3 attempts/requests to get seated in the bar area, which only had a few tables seated. Hostess said she has to seat in certain areas based on a rotation.  Also they advertised on their website the UFC fight was going to be on and it wasn't. Asked server and he confirmed it wasn't on at this location. The TV display also falsly advertises "Watch Every Fight Here" on their TV display. Food was ok. Jameson Iced Tea was great!

Like all the other arcades, it's starting to become the dumping grounds for young kids. What was once an adults only arcade to get away from kids, has now become just other arcade. The food is over priced in my opinion. The service is always super slow.

Its a great place to bring the kids in the winter. They have a good winter special and lots of games to keep them busy. For adults not so much. The food is rarely hot and just is meh. Just try to eat before you come. I also feel like they should close off and soundproof a room with some comfortable chairs for the parents. I know I would come more often and stay longer. There is not great places to relax while the kids play.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, honest and respectful. You have find your own table and waiter If you want food. My food tasted like it was made yesterday. My captain's passion drink was missing the captain. I don't recommend celebrating your birthday here.

It was always than ideal experience. At this time, they are not managing reservations abs seating people, which made us haunt for a table. It was really busy which made it hard. And with kids, it was a nightmare. Then, the whole environment was just dirty. In times of COVID, I wish they were on top of cleaning and disinfecting the restaurant and the play area. There was not even disinfectant wipes for us to wipe down the games between players. Very disappointing… So, what was good? The food! They do serve good food and drinks there. The strawberry watermelon margarita was amazing, and so were the nachos. We also had the Voodoo pasta but there was nothing special about it.

We came here on a Sunday and the food is consistently not very good for the the prices they charge. The majority of our food was burnt the last time I came. I absolutely hate sending food back to the kitchen but it was so bad I had no choice. The manager even noticed how bad it was before I could even say anything. The gaming is great but I do find it a little annoying that they charge $3 for a new card. That doesn’t seem like much until your purchasing 4 or 5 cards. Th waitstaff seemed under staffed or just didn’t really have a good system for taking care of the guests. I’ve been here several times and typically feel disappointed in the experience from a dining aspect.

This was the worst Dave and Buster's visit we've had. We wanted to give it another chance because we were going to Main Event for awhile. Regretting the choice however. While we were seated quickly, no one came to take our order for roughly ten minutes. The waitress absolutely did not care about serving us in a timely manner. We tried to order drinks and only 1 came out. She then disappeared and didn't take come back to take our order for about another fifteen minutes. During this time, people that had arrived far after we had already received their food. They had a different waitress. The seating area we were in was a booth near the bar and the cushions were dirty. Our food was hastily dropped off without the necessary condiments we ordered. They quickly place the food down and left without asking if we needed anything else. I was appalled when the bill came, and we were charged for condiments that we didn't get. I had ordered a side of mayonnaise for my fries. It came out by the time I was finished eating, and my partner never received hers. The waitress never mentioned that condiments were an extra charge, or else I would never have ordered it basedon principle. The drink was also $14 for a Long Island. On the menu there was an option to buy the D&B glass it was supposed to come in but it was served in a regular glass. The drink was small and not prepared correctly at all. No managers or anyone else came by the table to check on us, despite walking by multiple times. The young, brown haired white male manager wearing the gray shirt that evening should be looked into. He is not doing his job. Or if he is, then this place has truly gone downhill. Our waitress was a young african american lady and her name started with a T. She was completely disinterested in her job that evening. I should mention that it was very slow in there for a Friday evening around 8pm. The kids in the arcade are allowed to play unsupervised, and they tend to hog some of the more popular games. We also encountered games that didn't work as properly as well. I do appreciate that there is a good selection of games and that the food was pretty darn good too. It is a shame that your staff doesn't care for providing basic restaurant customer service however. This place was completely different back in the day. I guess back to Main Event we go.

We brought our toddler here for dinner and they sat us at a high top table without a kids seat. When I asked for a high chair there was a foot difference between the table and the chair. How is she supposed to eat? We had to push our chairs together and hold our kid while we ate because they were not accommodating. Not a great impression for a "family-friendly" establishment. Update: they switched us to a lower table last night but left us WITHOUT a server. We had to walk around to find someone to get our drinks, boxes and check when we finished. The food was gross, the pop was warm and the kids pizza was extra burnt. We will not return.

Foods getting worse and worse. Staff becomes very rude about the orders not being right and even after a manager come over to do the apologies and comp bit the food still come back shitty or not right. Maybe if was just a off day for the kitchen staff. We all have them, but it's been multiple people multiple time's. If you go to play pool ad grab a drink take ur own stick. The house stick's are terrible. All warped or have broken tips and all the pockets are pretty jankey but decent tops in its own little area away from the games and dinning.

I wish I took a photo of my food! Steak was cold and tasted funny, the potatoes were gold and tasted like box potatoes. My crunchy onions were burnt compared to everyone else's onions they had undercooked onions. I asked them to take it back i did not want anything else. I lost my appetite nasty, my Daughter same problem but they never brought her 2nd steak back out. They assumed she did not want hers either. So she ate her son's fries. His hot dogs were overcooked until dried. My other daughter ordered chicken strips. They gave her like a kids plate mini chicken nugget size not any chicken stripes very BAD FOOD.

Got seated quickly as well as waited on. Food came out quickly. No silverware, no salt and pepper on table, salad had no dressing and no idea where the guy went to get it but he never came back. Nor did anyone else. I should not have to hunt down utensils to at my food. Food portions were small, inequitable and over priced for getting the exact same meal. Rice was cold. Would never come back to the D&B. I still laying awake trying to figure out how 2 fish and chips, a side salad, a short beer and a coke comes to $71. My wife paid and tipped 18% without me knowing.

Well,when a roach comes running in front of you , it kind of sets the mood for not wanting to eat anything. Plus the drinks, we're not good at all.That would be adult drinks. 2 different drinks, neither one of them.Full the first one was wrong. Mean how can you mess up a screwdriver especially when you tell him what it is. Orange juice and vodka. Not cherry vodka,vodka. Not once did I mention flavored vodka. It was very empty and I understand why now.

Customer service was horrible and food was awful! MY FIRST D&B EXPERIENCE WAS RUINED! The little mean man that served our group yelled at us multiple times. He yelled at my friend because he was given the wrong burger and started eating it. He yelled at me for having my “Bodyarmor” drink on the table but he was ok if I held it in my hand. He compared it to bringing in Olive Garden and eating it. Very unfriendly little man. Secondly the food was gosh awful. I got a smash burger and the bun was crunchy and the burger was cold. The worst part was the fries seemed like they’d been left in the fryer for two weeks. It was like eating veggie straws but without the fun of the straw part and they somehow tasted worse. THE FRIES WERE LITERALLY INEDIBLE! I know complaining about D&B food is like someone complaining about Hooters food but the whole place was just not impressive. There were other things like pieces of the roof were broken and there were bubbles underneath the carpet. It wouldn’t be that bad if the food prices weren’t insane too. I’ve never left a review before but the the costumer service was so horrible I had to. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! Games were fun tho 🙂 Also there were $3.30 stacked on my check for a “large party” Not impressed Robert smh

Over 30 of the games were down. Tables everywhere with drinks laying around, little kids could drink it without knowing anything. Don't get me started on the bathroom, The bathroom stalls didn't close all the way, A paper towel dispenser wasn't working so they just had paper towels laying around.You have to pay quite alot just to get this? I will not be coming back for this service. Theres staff walking past messes, things on the floor, and etc.

Hands down the worst service ever by our waitress Chanel. Ordered guacamole with a special kind of chips and found out 15 minutes after we replace the order that they were out of the chips so jokingly I asked do we get a discount she says I don’t make those decisions. There were four people in our party and three of us got our food first and we were waiting on the guacamole and chips. The chips and guacamole came out after three of us were 3/4 done with our meal. Asked to speak to the manager and he removed the guacamole and chips from the bill. However, this does not justify our waitresses demeanor. Host in the front of the restaurant had the most beautiful smile and was so extremely friendly. This is about the best I could say that was good about this restaurant. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it was very obvious that the guacamole was not fresh. It was ice cold, so what ever took so long for it to get to us in the manner that it did is unexplainable.

Came in at 3 PM on a Saturday. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes waiting for service. There was 8 people at the bar. The bartender said she would be with us in a second two separate times, we left after this.

Went in and was not attended at all, 5 employees talking in a group and when conversation was over, one of them stood there leaning not acknowledging me. Two guys at the bar were not attending me either I was waiting for a long time and I was in their view as well. I ended up leaving.

Absolutely poor experience. Don’t go on a weeknight, waited over an hour for our food. Then asked for assistance getting a physical card and digital card linked. I was told by one person that’s not my problem go to the front or back and ask them! Then at the back was told only a Manager can help but that no one is answering on the radio. She then told me to go to the bar and see if they can help. At the bar the bartender was nowhere to be found. Finally asked our waitress she said she would get the manager. 10 minutes later she informed me the manager is stuck in the kitchen and will try and get out to get it taken care of! Must not have any staff during the week

Was our first experience yesterday. We sat for 15 minutes and never got our drink order taken or had our server stop by to let us know we’ll be taken care of at some point. A whole lot of employees walked by us though in that time. We ended up going to Famous Dave’s and loved it and the service was great.
