Came here in August 2022. We were visiting from out of town (DC and SD) and were looking for a rooftop to relax in. We found this gem with the most perfect view of the city. Cannot wait for this place to open up again.

Great Place, little pricey, but the staff make up for it with outstanding service!! The drinks were 2nd to none and the was far above standard. Great location, Great views, a must stop for the Bar hopper in the KC area. You will not regret a visit to this roof-top oasis with friends...

Such pretty views of downtown KC, especially with the sunset. Staff was friendly and efficient. Frosé for the win! The Zucca pizza might be my new favorite. I never would’ve thought to put zucchini and polenta on a pizza, but it works.

our server Brooklyn was the best! the experience was amazing and we had a great view of the Kansas City skyline! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a night out; the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is great. My personal favorite is the coconut iced coffee!

The view was amazing, the food was good, service was great! Very fun time! I will say the night time skyline view is gorgeous. Drinks were well mixed and atmosphere was very fun!

So after all of the negative reviews I’m so glad I went out and tried this amazing little niche. Our server, Hannah, was really good. She was busy but very attentive and said upfront we might have to let her know what we had to break our bill up. There were 12 in our party, so I understand needing some help! The food was really good. I’m Not a huge fan of chicharrones, but the spices and sauce for dipping were spot on. The hummus was really creamy and pita was soft and chewy. Drinks were excellent. I had an Old Fashioned and a Paloma. We had a reservation on a weeknight and they seated us right away. Parking is tough, but you have to look around and you’ll find a spot. I highly recommend this place. It won’t disappoint.

This might be my new favorite bar to visit while in KC. The views are great. The service is outstanding. The space is large. Most importantly, the cocktails are thoughtful. My friends and family enjoyed an evening here recently and had a good time catching up over drinks and views. The service was not lacking and consistent. Our standout drinks were the Skyline Punch and Cool Hand Luca. When you're in KC, make sure to stop by for a relaxing moment.

The service here was amazing. Everybody is so kind, goes with the flow, and most importantly respectful. Matt is my server and he came off no knowledgeable and friendly, definitely went above and beyond. This is my first time and I’ll definitely be back. Love yall down bad❤️

Wow wow wow!!! I am absolutely blown away by this rooftop gem! I was staying at the hotel and looking for a little place to pass the time but Percheron was an experience in itself. The service made me feel so welcome and Valentine went above and BEYOND. He was so knowledgeable about all my questions and he just made the experience a special one. Thank you valentine and thank you Percheron!

It's a really cool place, especially for KC. It's laid back, with decent service and decent cocktails. Certainly a low-key but cool place to chill for a drink and a view.

We always have a great time at Pecheron! The drinks are top-notch, the snacks hit the spot, and the rooftop view of Kansas City is just unbeatable. Perfect spot to unwind and take in the skyline. Definitely a solid spot.

Has lots of potential! Didn’t try any of the food! I loved the location and the views! I did like that they have both servers and bars. The bar line is extremely long and it’s in the way, hard to walk around. They may need to invest in some ropes or wrap them around the bar side. I also didn’t really care for the “pours” Ordered prosecco and the glass wasn’t even HALF full, mind you it wasn’t even a wine glass. It was a short rocks glass. Still nice vibes, good views and they actually had a good DJ Saturday night!

Pretty venue with a captivating KC skyline view for drinks and dining. Intimate (and loud, ha!) space for live music as part of the summer concert series, it got packed with people but the staff really hustled to serve everyone at the table and the bar. Tried a couple cocktails, not any food, but still easy to spend a lot of money here! Good for a special hoorah.

Good luck finding a table on Saturday’s. Sofas are first come first served. Overall amazing vibes and views. Trendy crowd.

The location is wonderful! And the drinks were great! We had the hummus and pita, which was delicious! The staff were busy, but still very accommodating. We do wish there had been some heat lamps because it is still spring and chilly for evenings outside and the music was too loud for you to have an easy conversation. That’s why I reduced the score to 4.

Can’t beat the view for a Sunday night drink at dusk. Creative drinks, lots of energy here. 4 stars instead of 5 because we didn’t have a single warm interaction with bartenders or servers. Everyone was very busy and didn’t take time to make a connection. Go there, get a drink, talk to your friends, enjoy the view.

This is a must see for anyone visiting town. The drinks are unique and so delicious. The views are absolutely spectacular. Be prepared to wait - it gets quite busy and the way the bar is structured, everyone ends up waiting in a huge line to get a drink. Wish they could figure that part out, not sure if they need more bartenders or less complex drinks? More bar space? Either way, we’ll definitely be back.

They have pretty nice views but prices are terrible. $8 for a 12 oz seltzer is ridiculous.

This is one of the best Rooftop views of our beautiful city,Kansas City! Lovely venue, and unfortunately some of the worst service we have ever had. We waited almost fifteen minutes for anyone to come over.Several waitresses kept telling us "you are not our table" it was very hot and we could have used a water. We had a very large group of Friends at several tables and nothing !! When our server finally came, he had an attitude and he brought our drinks that were half full and not worth the $13.00. The shrimp ceviche I ordered was delicious as were the other "snacks". The sad part was that the Music was incredible but because the service was so bad it somewhat ruined the evening. Our Server didn't come back so most of our group had to stand in a huge line at the bar and then had to run two tabs because they were separate. Another friend ordered a beer and the server dropped his can of beer and just picked it up and gave it to him.Very disappointing....The Percheron is lovely but the servers spend more time hanging out at the bar than serving their Customers. I review so many venues all over the United States and this one was by far the worst service we have ever received .....

Found my new favorite drink in KC but the service was absolutely horrible. If you come just be prepared to wait 15-20 min for your first drink. Luckily the rooftop views give you something to look at while you wait

The view of the rooftop bar looking out towards Kansas City was great, unfortunately it was very packed and it took over 20 minutes of standing in line to get up and order a drink for two. Two drinks that we ordered were about 35$ total with a 20% tip. Both drinks were very good! It was a little awkward trying to figure out where to stand or sit but either way definitely recommend it for a night out.

First time here was just way to "all over the map" First, host stand was very friendly and very fast. Great table, great view yadda yada good so far. Had to track down a server. The table next to me said "let us know when you find one" This isnt good at these drink prices. Multiple servers taking orders after that isnt good either. Ironically, and "so KC" an older couple asked if I liked the lobby bar or roof?" I said roof, and a bit later a FIGHT broke out! lol EVERYONE say together, " THAT'S SO KC!" So they closed early. One more try. Just one. ☝️

Excellent views of the city. Drink options could be improved. Service was not very attentive. Margaritas were not very good.

Honestly better to get a drink downstairs and bring it up. Service is not great. Drinks are pricey and not very good for said price.

Pretty great views but since its development and growth the customer service time is extremely long. Had to wait over 45 minutes for one drink. Great views but best to go on a not so busy night

Hostess upon entering was very personable. View is just okay. Very packed and would only allow a seating for 6 at a table that could definitely seat 8. Did not like the default move of automatically charging the card used to reserve especially given large groups were present and blatantly told another card would be used only to charge it anyway. The Party Pressure drink was not visually appealing or tasty. The pina col fashioned was good and I was grossly disappointed with the Paloma. Food choices were interesting, wings were good, skewers were nice, may try the platter next time.

Had a reservation for 6 people at 8:45 on a Saturday. Atmosphere is immaculate, although service was almost non existent. It took over 25 minutes to receive our first drinks, we were never able to order another round because our server never came back after taking our order. Our drinks were even dropped off at our table by a different person. We had to track him down to get our check around 10:20. The limited interaction we did have with him was pleasant, he was very friendly, just not attentive. This place has great potential, I think it would benefit from better management possibly.

Tahleah, our server- the absolute worst. She either didn't submit our entire order or "gave it to the wrong table". It took 3hrs to get one round and food and drinks. We sat for 35min before she arrived to take our order. Then she asked for a card on tab, which is fine, but gave the card back like a drug dealer.... it was awkwardly funny. The food came reasonably quick. We ate our entire order BEFORE she came with napkins or silverware. Then when we asked for the other half of our order she ended up comping our entire order because so much time went by. Then she ran our card anyway.... such a horrible experience. Will gladly revisit for the view and food, but definitely not in her section.

Great views of KC, but I agree with other reviews that the staff could really work on their customer service. You’d think $14 a drink would pay for a little patience, but I guess not.

Food and drinks are ok—over priced in my opinion. The service was pretty bad. The bartender with pink hair has so much attitude for basic requests.

Drinks are mediocre for the price. Food is clearly not their specialty and I am a FOODIE! (I will try and eat absolutely anything) They are essentially unreachable via their automated phone system so do NOT expect to hear from a real person and even if they do transfer you to someone expect to be hung up on. Better yet if you attend here with a group their policy is that one individual will need to put their card on file (standard procedure and not the issue), the issue unfortunately is that you can expect to get charged for every single person in your group even though everyone paid their own tabs separately at the end of the meal. The waitress even reassured us MULTIPLE times that this card was simply a placeholder. They have yet to settle this issue. If you enjoy overpriced mediocre drinks and subpar food then this is the place for you, otherwise GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I really used to love Percheron when it first opened up. But the last two times I’ve gone, I’ve been seriously disappointed. The server got multiple orders wrong and my $15 glass of wine was definitely not a full pour (literally the smallest amount of wine I’ve ever been served). The rooftop is still a nice view, but I don’t think I can justify the high prices anymore with the quality of service and drinks. The food was still above average.

Atmosphere at this roof top bar is amazing, but the service is horrendous. Server gave us a drink menu and I had to find him 20 minutes later for him to tell me he was coming right back. We waited another 10 minutes and no server. We left disappointed and had drinks at another place.

Excellent view nice place But they need to take down the plants from the bar and add another 3 bartenders

You pay 5 dollars for parking(or 17 for valet), to wait to be seated, to not have a server, to pay 15 dollars for 1 drink. The math ain’t mathing 🙂‍↔️

Wednesday evening hostess was horrible. Arrived at 5pm on Wednesday 9/11/24, they had most of the area closed for a private event starting at 7. All the tables were full that they had in the area open. We asked if we could sit just outside that area to have a couple drinks and we would be gone by 6 at the latest. She said no, we told her she is losing business this way. Her quote was "we don't care if we lose your business". Obviously won't be going back there. We live a few blocks away at 21st and Grand...so we frequent bars and restaurants in the area often but removed this one from our list to revisit

I don’t drink but I went here w my gf and her friends for a bday celebration. Took 45 min to get a tray of green tea shots and our “server” asked us one time if we needed anything, said she’d be back, and walked past us countless times after. Mind you, all I wanted was a water. Easily the worst bar I’ve been to

Tucker our server was HORRIBLE. Took our card to keep on file when we ordered, 45 mins past when he finally came to our table and notified us he accidentally gave another table our order. Said he wouldn’t charge us and would bring us our drinks right away. Another 30+ mins past. Finally we got up and went to find him. He was at the bar and wouldn’t even address us while we were speaking with the manager. After informing the manager of our horrible experience we had and my card charged twice the horrible server tucker wouldn’t even turn around to apologize. Worst customer service! Beautiful rooftop, we were all excited to try the drinks and enjoy our evening. We will not be back.

Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We were seated for over an hour and never received our drinks, despite repeatedly asking. To make matters worse, our server, Tucker, not only failed to deliver basic service but also charged our card THREE times for DIFFERENT AMOUNTS. When we asked for help, Tucker avoided us completely and never apologized. After we involved the manager, he disappeared altogether. It genuinely felt like he may have been giving our drinks to other tables on purpose — if that’s the case, it’s not only unprofessional but also theft from both the customer and the business. We will not be returning.

This place is a complete disaster. I told my wife to grab a table while I ordered for both of us — because finding a seat was already a challenge in this jam-packed, poorly managed space. A couple of minutes later, she returned after being kicked out of the table by a waitress who claimed it was “reserved.” There was no sign, no plaque, no indication whatsoever. Just arrogance and attitude. That was our first red flag — and it only got worse from there. The entire place was overflowing, with wave after wave of people coming in and absolutely no available seating. It was more crowded than a subway at rush hour. They cram in far more guests than they can reasonably accommodate, making the entire experience chaotic and miserable. And the food? Outrageously priced for laughably small portions. We didn’t even bother. After watching the circus unfold, we walked out — and never looked back. If you’re thinking of coming here for a date night, brunch, or anything that resembles a peaceful outing, don’t. You’ll be ignored, stressed, and likely standing the whole time. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. This place is all hype and no hospitality.
