The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. I choose the grilled salmon with a salad, the salmon was well cooked and passion fruit juice, I haven't had such amazing refreshing passion fruit juice in years, it brought back some childhood memories. The life music after 11pm on the weekends it made the atmosphere of the restaurant very enjoyable. I give them a 10+ for the service, our waitress was very professional, nice and patient. I highly recommend this restaurant. 👌🏽

Ended up at Da Silva on a whim. So glad we did. Atmosphere was delightful. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by warm smiles from the hostesses. Salomon was our server and he told us a little history of the restaurant since we had never been there before. He brought us a taster of their pink sauce on a piece of perfectly tender steak. We knew we made the right choice after tasting the plate. The steaks are like butter and melt in your mouth and the pork rinds are freshly made and so delicious and crunchy. Salomon was a delight and so helpful with our experience at Da Silva. Will definitely be coming back and have been recommending this establishment to everyone we talk to.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had heard about Da Silva several times before, and interestingly, the reviews were always very mixed—some people spoke highly of it, while others didn’t have such great experiences. Because of that, I hadn’t really decided to go on my own… until I finally had the chance to have dinner there, and I’m glad I did. The first thing that stood out to me was how beautiful the restaurant is. The space is very well organized, beautifully decorated, and has a very elegant yet welcoming design. I didn’t get the chance to hear the live band, but I think it’s a very interesting concept that adds a lot to the overall experience. The bar deserves a special mention—it’s spectacular. Not only can you enjoy drinks there, but also food, and visually it adds a lot of character and appeal to the place. As for the food, everything I tried—and everything I saw being served to other tables—looked delicious. I had the chance to try the meat, which was excellent, along with some arepitas that were really good. I loved the nata and cheese, the fried yucca was great, the Caesar salad was well prepared, and I ordered a chocolate cake to go that I absolutely loved. While there, I also tried the brownie with ice cream, which was delicious. I also had one of their signature cocktails made with Santa Teresa rose. It was a very interesting concept and, most importantly, the drink was really good. Even though I only tried one cocktail, I would definitely like to go back and try more. We were attended by Eduardo, who was absolutely wonderful—very kind, attentive, and professional. He truly made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place I would return to. Five stars for the beauty of the restaurant, the quality of the food, and the excellent service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was our first time to go and we really enjoyed all of it! Salomon was a fantastic waiter and gave us a sample of the steak with the sauces so we would know what the flavors were! He had great suggestions and we enjoyed all of them! We will be back!!

We ended up at De Silva Steakhouse on a Thursday night around 9:30PM, looking for a spot that was still open and I’m so glad we did. It’s a Venezuelan steakhouse with such a great vibe. The place was lively with birthday parties going on, and by the end of the night there was even live music, which gave the whole place an upbeat party atmosphere. The drinks were on point, mine was fruity and so good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce on mine with mushrooms, onions, and peppers was delicious. We also tried the ceviche, which was super limey in the best way.

The vibes were awesome, they have a lunch menu that is really nice offering soup, main course and dessert for a very affordable price. The food was good, I got braised pork chop and it was dry but the sides were good and the fish was good as well. The chicken soup was really good and dessert was delicious. It is a Venezuelan restaurant that is not as overpriced.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. The house was full so that may explain the service. My friend ordered a filet with a side of shrimp. We all got our food and after we were finished and ready to order desert, the side of shrimp was brought out to him. They also brought the salads out at the same time as the main entrée so the table seemed crowded and I ate my salad in a hurry so that my steak would not get cold. I will return for the food and I would still recommend to friends and family. The meat was very tender and very well seasoned. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We got there at 6 and the crowd was just starting to come in. It got crowded fast. The attire ranged from t-shirts to ties and cocktail dresses. Parking gets full fast in this complex. We ordered three deserts and all three were fantastic. I will definitely return. Just fine tune the service and this would be 5 star all the way!!

This is a very good steakhouse in the Katy area. I have been here a couple of times, and the food is consistently excellent and of high quality. The atmosphere is pleasant, with live music and well-crafted cocktails. The service also deserves recognition; the staff is attentive and accommodated all my requests and specifications. However, there is one aspect I truly did not appreciate. I had to wait 55 minutes before being seated. This is one of the few places I know that does not allow reservations. I called ahead to make a reservation, knowing how busy it can get, only to be told that reservations are not accepted on weekends. This makes no sense. No one enjoys waiting nearly an hour to be seated. If reservations are not allowed, they should at least offer a digital or phone-based waitlist so guests do not have to arrive and sit in front of the host stand for an extended period of time.

The appetizers were good. We had the Shrimp Ceviche and Special Cachapa. For our main meal we shared the Da Silva Flamed Rib Eye - it's a novelty - but it tasted good. For dessert we had the Chocolate Lovers Dream - from the description it sounded good - the driest chocolate cake I have ever tasted in my life and I am a chocoholic that has traveled in Europe and Asia and around the US, I could only stomach a bite. I gave my husband a bite and he said it taste like something that you should dunk in coffee or tea. He ordered Torta Tres Leches which he liked. The coffee was lukewarm and bitter. The service: We felt neglected by our server. She was nowhere in sight most of the time. She didn't even bother refilling our waters or at the very least ask/inquire if we wanted a refill, granted we had alcoholic drinks as well which actually made having enough water to hydrate more important. The atmosphere: The place is TOO LOUD that we have to sit right next to each other and talk directly on each other's ears in order to hear each other. OVERALL, not interested in going back or recommending to our family and/or friends.

Food was mid, 6 dollars for a lemonade with no refill is diabolical work, I wouldn't recommend not because of the price but because food isn't actually good, I'll say average in a good day.

I really wish I could say my experience here was amazing, but unfortunately it was disappointing. We came to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and while our server Camila was truly wonderful and honestly saved the experience, the food quality wasn’t what I expected. My picanha arrived cold instead of hot, and the tostones were cold. There is nothing worse than fried food served cold. The restaurant was extremely loud due to the music and how busy it was on a Saturday night, so it was very difficult to hear anything. Because of that, my boyfriend’s steak temperature order was misunderstood. This was not our server’s fault at all it was due to the noise. Camila was kind, attentive and really sweet. What really disappointed me is that I’ve been to the DaSilva location in Miami and absolutely loved it. I ordered the exact same thing there, and the plate came out so hot they told me not to touch it. This was a big contrast compared to what I was served here. I understand weekends get very busy and there are many tables to handle, but consistency and quality should still be a priority. I would be open to coming back to try lunch or visiting during a less crowded time because I’ve heard great things, but I definitely would not return during peak hours.

The place is nice, the steaks are ok but not something crazy. And they charge a lot of money for any extra, for example 4 dollars for cheese in a plantain that wasn't good.

Not quite there... Service and atmosphere: The restaurant looks very nice inside. Dark, modern decor with great layout and overall design. We had high expectations because of that. Service was okay. Our server was forgetful and we had to ask for what was ordered but not delivered. He was apologetic which was polite of him. Food and drinks: Menu items looked good on paper. Execution and taste wasn't there. The side beans came burnt and we had to replace it with other side. New York strip steak was cooked as requested but the texture of the meat wasn't good. $33 price point for the steak was too much given the quality and pricing from other restaurants around. Grilled chicken breast was borderline dry. Pricing: $$$ - we couldn't justify it given quality of food at the time of our visit.

You think for a expensive steakhouse that they would know how to season a steak and cook some vegetables. I thought the service was terrible. It took forever for them to even take my order or offer me a drink. Never checked on me while I was eating until I was almost completely done and my drink was almost empty. I would never go here again. When the store manager finally came over, he was super cool and he did try to offer me some kind of compensation but at that point, my meal was done and so was I. Too little too late.
