Our lunch at Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet this afternoon in the Katy location was as good as the previous two times we went to the Sugar Land, location. I had a great experience at Dimassi’s . The salad spread was especially impressive—fresh, flavorful, pleasing to the eyes and full of variety. The food tasted fresh, and you could tell they take pride in the quality. The Zaatar bread bursts with flavors from the first bite. The pita bread was soft and fluffy. The hummus varieties as well as the falafel were quite as good as we expected. I am a vegetarian and the options were plenty. My husband found the meat varieties especially the chicken tasty and flavorful. The sauteed cauliflower had a refreshingly tart lemony taste besides the good flavors. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving Mediterranean flavors in a casual buffet setting. The drinks are included in the price of the buffet, which is an added value.

I love love love the food here! I’ve been a lifelong fan of Dimassi’s. I can not find okra like them anywhere else in Houston. This Katy location however needs some interior help. It feels like I’m eating in a hospital cafeteria. Went in last night and my family and I just decided to grab the food to go, which actually worked out better since I didn’t eat as much as I would have if I were sitting in. But still, some of the locations have a better interior feeling - this one doesn’t. Still love you guys!

I had an excellent experience at Dimassi Mediterranean Buffet. The variety of fresh, flavorful dishes—from hummus and falafel to grilled meats and salads—was impressive. My family and I come here atleast once a month. They always deliver. I just love the variety of salad and protein options. You then make your way to the dessert station and eat all the rice pudding your heart desires. The staff are really nice too. I really enjoy coming here. I always leave happy and filled.

One of the best buffets I've ever been to. And I have been to many buffets in different countries. I also tried another famous branch buffet in Houston but this one is my favorite.

As a frequent traveler, this place is a godsend. It's so difficult to reliably get in all the veggies I want while on the road while being both delicious and cost-effective. Therr are so many delightful dishes here, every one as good or better as I've found at traditional/non buffet joints, but you have access to the whole menu at once! Paired with the no-nonsense seat-yourself setup, definitely more than worth the 5 stars. I do wish there was at least some music playing, but I figure that I only noticed since I went during a low-traffic time.

Just moved and came here to get the first bite in this town. Everything is perfect, food, warm welcoming staff, nearly spotless interior, spacious and quiet. The food options are too many to try all at once. Some items in the buffet felt very similar to Bangladeshi cuisine, the one I grew up eating. Specially the lentil soup, dimassi eggplant, chicken curry with potato carrots and the Lemonade! I also recommend the fried fish, gyro. They have at least 7/8 salad options as well. I plan to try the rest of kabob and kofta options next time. You can ask one lamb shank per person so don’t miss on that.

Food and drinks where excellent! Everything was clean, fresh, and tasted wonderful. Thr staff working was also courteous, professional, and really very welcoming for us. We came during off hours and felt like everything was just for us.

Food selection was pleasing to the eye. They keep everything very clean. Everything tasted fresh. My group ate outside to enjoy the breeze. They had a very nice woman going around cleaning up every 15-30 minutes. The hummus selections are my favorite! We love coming here.

Always a good place to have Mediterrean food. Food is still fresh and tasty even at the time I came in (around 230pm). It is a buffet, so the food may be kind of limp from moisture, but that is no fault of the business, it is a buffet after all. This is the only location that has rose water on the buffet. Very good. Balakava is kind of dry, but ok. The Westheimer location makes it more syrupy. Pita bread is consistently good, as will all their locations. Meats are well seasoned and cooked well. Premises are clean and well attended to. I did take some food to go. Takeaway is priced at 7.99 a pound, a fair price. Great place to get your fresh mediterrean/levant cuisine fix.

A very good all you can eat buffet. With enormous variety and very high quality food. Service is attentive and the ambience solid. Food? Top five I've ever had. Their hummus, flafel and thoum are the best around. This is a must stop for us when we are in town.

I don't think it would be possible to love this place any more than I already do. I recently went Vegan and there are soooo many choices for me to eat on this massive buffet. All the food is crazy fresh and really tasty. I would come here everyday if budget and schedule allowed!

We had been going to the old location for years and loved the food and the environment. Now that they've moved to the new location it's so much better. The atmosphere is very light and welcoming and clean. I swear the food tasted better and it seemed they had more food out than they did in the past. I love this place.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Demassi’s! Usually buffet food isn’t very good, but we were hungry, so we stopped in. It was really delicious! A good 7 or 8 out of 10, we thought! We tried a little of almost everything, and everything was very flavorful, well-seasoned, and pretty authentic. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the wait staff were very prompt about picking up dishes and refilling food. We would absolutely come here again.

Hands down, the best Dimassi's location is in Katy! I've tried three other locations, but the falafel at this spot is ( Chef’s kiss 😚 you hear me) - tender, moist, and utterly delicious. Great options, everything is freshly cooked and prepared to perfection. Shout out to Rana, she makes you feel welcomed. Been here everyday this week.

In fact, Bill mentioned today that his recent heart scan showed he’s doing better than ever—and we both credit that in part to the high-quality Mediterranean food served here. I dine at this location at least once a month, and the newly added menu items are absolutely fantastic—fresh, healthy, and made with top-notch ingredients. While prices have gone up slightly over the years, they’re still very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the same price range, especially considering the quality and selection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is attentive, particularly the owner Rana, and the experience is consistently excellent. This place is perfect if you are really hungry and in the mood for Mediterranean food. They offer a buffet. The options are abundant and they look delicious and, as a plus almost everything is healthy. I visited this location with people of different ages, restrictions and tastes. Everybody found something perfect to eat. The buffet is huge, so it is impossible to try everything, but my champions on this visit were the tabouli, that is a fresh salad made with parcey, mint, onion and couscous; the natural hummus which is a chickpea dip; the falafel which is like chickpea croquette, it was crunchy outside and soft inside; and the grilled chicken that was full of flavor. Of course I need to come back and try all the other different dishes. At the end our evening was perfect with a coffee and a nutty baklava. Enviroment is familiar, I just would like some music, not so loud just something to feel happier.

We absolutely love this place. My husband and I have been coming here for years and we are known as “regulars”. So I can’t tell you how many times we’ve actually been here, but this is Our favorite Mediterranean spot in Houston. The flavors are spot on, consistent, and crafted with love. You can tell that it is a family run business who truly cares about their employees as their employees are always their long-term. Furthermore, This is one of our favorite outdoor seating places as well. I think that adding this is important because even though it’s not a monitored patio, it is safe clean and friendly environment.

My in laws were visiting and we decided to visit here which I had In my go to list, the restaurant wa Avery straightforward you walk in and choose what buffet you want for people ages. The cutely was clean, lots of yummy appetizers along with best salads I have had in a while. They had a great spread for vegetarian options as well as beef, lamb, chicken and fish. They had really good dessert and different drink options. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Mediterranean food. They also have lamb shanks which we found later yet we tried it and it was bomb! Please ask for pricing to go if you want or extra shanks at the register. The service was great and can’t wait to go back already!

I've been visiting Dimasi for over 10 years I specifically drive from the Houston Heights to this location, It's by far the best one out of all their locations I say that because their food is always fresh, They take pride and a little things, With each menu item. Dimassi's hit the spot!! Super easy to order online and they delivered hot at time requested. Not pictured was the dill rice. The favorite out of everything...the fried chicken!!! All the guys had 3 legs each!! LOL! You can order by the person/item for most things. I didn't order hummus/pita from them because I wanted a variety of flavors so HEB helped me out for that! Tab including delivery, tip, tax was around $225 for those interested, for 8 adults. Sent everyone home with a to go box!!😁

This place is amazing. They have a bunch of food choices. Hummus, tabouli, lots of sauces. Salads, rices, different style chicken/fish/beef. Yummy pita. Fresh gyro. There is also rose water and for dessert you can get UNLIMITED baklava AND coffee!!! Customer service was also great. Love it here

A delightful surprise! If you’re in the mood for delicious Mediterranean cuisine this is the place. This is not your typical buffet. The food is prepared fresh, no artificial or heavy taste afterwards. Plenty of vegan options with humus, salads, rice, and vegetables (grilled and cooked). They have traditional Mediterranean dishes as well. Try the rose 🌹 water! Ask for Rana! Rana was funny, helpful, and a delight! Overall, great food with amazing service.

Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet has excellent food. We have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The items on the buffet are authentic and fresh. The server behind the buffet will give you gyro meat and /or a leg of lamb at your request. The leg of lamb is so tender that it falls off the bone. Pair it with the okra and rice for a delicious combo. The gyro meat is tasty as you can put it in a freshly made pita bread. There are four or five types of hummus. Grape leaves, fried cauliflower, grilled vegetables, baked fish, fried fish, fried chicken, grilled chicken, and eggplant are all wonderful choices. There are several choices of salad, including Greek salad and tabouli. Fountain drinks, coffee, and tea are self-serve. The servers and cashier are always friendly and helpful. The weekend buffet price is $20.99. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

We walked in for lunch to see a large spacious seating. The sign tells you to sit anywhere and and help yourself to the buffet. Let me tell you that this was one of the best Mediterranean food that I had so far and it's a buffet! I love the freshness of the food and the different salads and hummus dips on the left side of the buffet. My fave was the tauboli and Greek salad. I served myself a small portion of babaganoush (eggplant dip) and 3 different types of hummus. Loved the lemony flavors that were infused into the dips. In the middle, there were different types of bread and pizza. I wish the pita bread were warm. On the right side were 2 types of soup: lentil and chicken vermicelli. Both were so delicious and flavorful. My son had 4 small servings of it and he doesn't really eat lentils. The right side of the buffet there were meat dishes and falafel and hot veggies. My son gave me a bite of the falafel and let me tell you it was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was perfect. The falafel that I had were dry and hard so I wasn't a big fan until I had Dimassi's. Most of the meat dishes were good such as the beef kabob, chicken kabob, chicken stew and the gyro. They had fried chicken drumstick but it would have been better if it was seasoned a bit more and served fresh out of the fryer. They even have dessert and I shared one of each items with my son because we were so full but cannot resist dessert. There were coconut cake, cookie jam, baklava and fruits i.e. oranges, honeydew, and cantaloupe. We left satisfied and the food doesn't weigh you down vs Chinese buffet. We will back!

Our 1st time eating this type of food and it is worth the price as other reviews have mentioned! 💯 Walk in, go to the left of the buffet, and work way around to right as if you are leaving. Easy serving yourself and look on top for food description cards with ingredients listed if you want to know meat or greens, or flavoring. Seat yourself anywhere and once you are done, then you proceed to check out and pay. The staff is really nice and helpful! 👍

This one is smaller than I remember but this also moved locations since I’ve visited the Katy location back in 2021. The food was delicious-fresh, flavorful and the place was a vibe. There were more families in there and people getting to know each other over the best food in town. 🥰 This one is much different from my favorite on 249, but none-the-less it was a beautiful way to spend Valentine’s Day with my husband. Oh and the buffet comes with a drink. You don’t have to wait on anybody to do anything for you, you can go and self serve everything!!!

Amazing lamb shank, look at the picture and then decide for yourself. Right on the highway 10 , plenty of parking, good food, ample variety. About 100 people can sit indoor and couple of dozen seats outdoor. They have couple of big tv to watch sports and Olympics. Good ambient , well lid restaurant.Bathrooms were clean and tidy and well stocked. Ladies from the kitchen handed out the lamb shanks with pride and smile. We will be back for sure.

This a family owned restaurant and they take great care with food preparation and presentation. This is the first time we come to this branch. The food is as good as other branches. We went there during a weekday afternoon, so there wasn’t a lot of people. The pita would be awesome if they were hot. I guess we won’t have this problem if we went there during lunch or dinner. Everything was well prepared to wait for the rushing hours. The food, drinks and soups are excellent. Dining tables, buffet bars, drink stations, plates and utensils were all spotlessly clean. All staff members were super friendly and even when my emptied plates were taken away, I was asked if I was doing alright or need anything. All diners respected one another and worn the gloves when handling public tongs. Strongly recommend folks to come and enjoy a full and delightful meal.

The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly, though a bit slow when it came to clearing used dishes from the table. The dining area is a spacious open layout, which can get quite noisy during busy times. Adding some booths or more private seating along the sides would definitely improve the overall atmosphere.

atmosphere and food is delicious! Food can be less fresh at times . But this location is the best demassi iv been to. Only reason I give it 4 stars is they use vegetable oil in there salad and hummus instead of olive oil like it’s suppose to be made… which does stop me from coming her all the time. I personally wouldn’t mind paying $5-10 extra if the food was made in Olive oil . Please let me know if I’m mistake I’m more than happy to update my review but from what I can tell everything is made in vegetable oil not olive oil.

So this is basically a Mediterranean restaurant. Almost all of the foods served here are cooked in Mediterranean style. As I'm not a Mediterranean person, I did not like their cooking style as I'm not familiar with that. But I guess Mediterranean people will love the food. I went there during Dinner and had Buffet Dinner. There are lots of variations in foods and the price is not too high! You may not see Lamb items in the front side so need to ask for the lamb shanks. The decoration is not outstanding but it's fine.

UPDATING: Clean, quick and good food. I like the array of salads they offer everything always looks fresh (and tastes fresh). The rice options are good always hard to decide. The baked chicken is so moist and tasty! My husband loves the gyro meat - he said it’s very good.

I’ve visited Dimassi’s maybe three times over the last 12 years, and honestly, I only keep going back because a friend insists going there and because I hope it has finally improved. Unfortunately, it hasn't. ​The food is "mid." It has a very "fast-foodie" quality to it that lacks authentic Mediterranean cooking. I’m not even sure which specific country's cuisine they are trying to represent, but it definitely doesn't hit the spot. Plus it's way overpriced for the quality. Even the desserts are just "okay."

Bought my daughter here lunch today and really was disappointed with the food. Most of it was barely warm. Everything was not seasoned and had no taste no salt or anything. We used to come here all the time in everything was great but today it really was bad. The worst part was the both of us about a 1/2 hour later were running to the bathroom With our Stomach's hurting. I'm not sure if they have some new people in the kitchen now or what but it's nothing like it used to be.

Overall, this buffet is not for my family, and I 👎🏽 The building - new, nice, and restrooms - are pretty. The buffet is large with a variety of foods offered. I tried a bit from each station, the temperature was off on the salads,not cold enough, and they didn't taste very good. The hot dishes were hot and well seasoned. However, the food is low quality, and some of the items you could tell were sitting out for some time. The SMELL of soured mop water permeates the drink and desert station area. The lemonade tastes like the fountain hasn't been cleaned, and the deserts were low quality, too.

They have Ramadan raised price, I understand that but when we pay at the checkout it’s always extra and ambiguous than the original price; we don’t trust them anymore ! During normal days with the employees we pay $ and with the owner lady we pay $$$. It’s never fix and it’s becoming annoying we lost trust to the point we don’t even enjoy it anymore. Not to mention about the lamb shank hiding it all the time like a FAMINE ! … Today I knew she is going to inflate it again I called in the morning they told us the price of adults and kids very clearly since we have kids and of course when we came in and checked out it’s completely different with the lady $$$ as usual.we were supposed to pay $70 she said $88 we were kind and generous enough to give her tips lol! she’s been doing this for years. We ordered chicken, fried fish, and potatoes—and unfortunately, everything was off. The chicken batter was falling off, the taste was strange and unappetizing, and the potatoes were overcooked and bland. Worst of all, both of my kids ended up with upset stomachs later that evening. This was a very disappointing and concerning experience. 2. Presentation vs. Reality While the food display looked appetizing at first glance, the actual taste was far from fresh or flavorful. It lacked the balance and freshness you’d expect from Mediterranean cuisine. What looked promising turned out to be a major letdown in terms of both taste and quality. Overall: Highly not recommended. The food quality, taste, and aftereffects were unacceptable—especially for children.
