ForLing's has been our preferred choice for Chinese takeout. The majority of the meals are both tasty and fulfilling. Today, I enjoyed the special noodle dish, which consists of egg noodles, vegetables, beef, chicken, and shrimp. The smoky taste of the stir-fried meal was perfectly balanced.

I generally don’t write reviews but this place is exceptional for the food that I eat and probably are more aligned to the Indian taste. Prices are very reasonable, quantity is good and the below dishes - we love it. Chicken noodle soup Crab wontons Chicken kung pao Chicken lomein Sesame chicken Orange chicken
I’ve been looking a good Chinese take out. I wanted somewhere I could go and see the establishment, the staff etc. I started off with just the basics, Chicken fried rice and progressed through the menu. I find the food to be very tasty as well as a good value. The staff has always been friendly and nice. It’s my go-to from now on.
Love this restaurant! Has great lunch menu, 7 days a week, at a very reasonable price. Food is always delicious. Hot and sour soup is the best that I have had out of all the Chinese restaurants that I have eaten at.
Food is delicious and a great price. We love ordering their 1/2 tray of fried rice and a soup. We have tried all soups except the sweet and sour and they're all delicious.

A little in the high side for lunch special portion sizes but it was good.

I typically order from their lunch menu. It is very reasonably priced for the amount of food that you get. For about $8 get the main dish, rice, choice of soup, and an egg roll. What I like most about Ling’s is that they actually include vegetables in their dishes, like a hearty amount of zucchini in the kung pao. I don’t know why so many other similar restaurants don’t include any sort of green vegetables.

We keep trying this place because it is close and not consistently awful, but I think I've had my last meal from there. I placed an order twenty minutes online before I showed up (while masked up to keep my flu germs to myself), and when I got there, it looked like they had not noticed my online order. (It wasn't like it was super busy and running behind - it was pretty much empty the entire time I was there.) Rather than explaining the situation, they told me it was "almost ready" about five times over the twenty minutes I waited in their empty restaurant. I would have canceled the order if they had been up front with me because my main purpose for ordering there was to get my food quickly because I was sick, but they kept it to themselves. After listening to them argue in the kitchen, finally my food came out. I'm not sure if it was the soup or the flu that upset my stomach, so I'll just focus on the service issue here.
I ordered here for the first time, in a desperate search of a Chinese restaurant who could give me flavor and consistency in their food. Their fried rice wasnt the quality I expected, though the flavor was some what there...by the walk folks, this is not hating, this is a review of what my family's experience was.......it would be good if you were able to get a spoon size portion, kinda like a movie trailer, a preview of what you are to get.......so our quest for some really great Chinese food continues....
Seeing what Katy has to offer in Chinese food, this place is alright. A great spot for Seven Lakes student to hang out and grab food after. Their Fried Rice is amazing. Most of the foods are pretty heavily breaded. Would give this 3.5 if this system allows me

Ordered food last night from this place and something tasted “off” in almost every dish that had broccoli and rice. It almost gives off a taste of moldy water. You know how water starts to create a slime/mold if the filter isn’t cleaned or if water is puddled for too long? That’s how most of the dishes tasted. We ordered the garlic beef - absolutely no garlic flavor and it tasted like mold. Orange chicken- not terrible but not great either Chicken lo Mein- only thing that was good Fried dumplings- very thick dough and since it was a Togo order they were soggy, which I knew would happen. Delivery was fast! I was pleased with that and the person who took my order Over the phone was easy to understand and friendly. Overall very disappointed in the food and will not be returning.
I’m gonna be totally honest here.....I don’t like having to do this. I have been struggling to stay a customer of Ling’s. I have battled back and forth with the inconsistent quality of the food over the last few years!!! I had the most issues with the FM 1463 location. Well, it has closed and I returned to the S Fry location. Today almost took the cake. I ordered shrimp egg foo yun , sesame chicken and house special low mein. The egg foo yun was almost half of what it used to be. The patties looked like pancakes. They were so thin!!! I did not get my money’s worth. To pay over $10 and get this measly serving of food is so insulting!!! When Evan works, he always makes sure I get good food and good service!! I am so disappointed in my experience today!!! We have been loyal customers for over 10 years but we may need to find a new Chinese spot!!!

I really wanted Won Ton Soup and some Ribs for lunch. I started scouring the Grubhub and doordash app for places. I also googled and looked on yelp to see reviews and such. I ordered through Grubhub and my food came in about 45 mins. I started on my ribs first. They had a great flavor but were a little bit too tough for me. The Won Ton soup looked really weird. I have never seen it come with Veggies but hey Veggies are good. When I tasted the juice, it was very bland and did not have the flavor of Won Ton soup at all. The wontons were mostly just the noodles. There were only 4 actual wontons and they were not filled at all, just a vey small amount of Pork in them. I was already dealing with the weirdness of the soup, but for it to be mostly noodles was a huge let down.

The one star rating is for the service only. Prices on the menu are INCORRECT, expect to pay +$1, $2 more than listed, TAKE OUT ONLY, NO DINE IN. Food was flavorful and well seasoned. I would give the food 3/5 stars. Ordered the sweet & sour combo, beef & Broccoli, Szechuan fish stew and special wonton soup. My husband and I, along with our two children found a table and sat, looking forward to dine in and enjoy good food. We were the only customers. The employee at the register greeted us from behind the counter. The employee didn't offer us menus and didn't tell us where they were located. My husband looked around and found them along the left wall. We ordered four plates at the register, paid and sat back down. We were a little confused at the total, it seemed like we were possibly overcharged. My husband approached the employee at the register and wanted to confirm the price of the plates we ordered. The employee said the prices on the menu are incorrect. It would have been nice to be informed of the current price or have the menus replaced. So be aware that some dishes might be $1, $2 + more. My husband sat back down, we waited a few more minutes and the same employee comes out with our food in a to go bag. We were incredibly confused. There is no mention that this restaurant is take out only. The employee was incredibly aloof and not helpful. Ling's restaurant isn't recommended for dine in, unless it's delivery or takeout, but I won't be doing that. I don't want to give them any business.
Wasn't very good. The food was fried hard everything was salty and taste like it was old and tast e refried. I asked for coconut shrimp I had some shrimp in roll like an egg roll. Tasted horrible. I went five years ago forgot that I had given a bad review then. They beef satay was dry and tasteless. Not sure who is keeping this restaurant in business, but we work to hard for our money too be given horrible food like this .
I would give it no stars but I'm forced to give it one. Delivery was fast. Delivery guy was friendly. However, the taste was horrible. We ordered chicken and broccoli and general tso large dinner portion that comes with egg rolls & soup. Everything was tasteless and the fried rice was bland. We have ordered from this place before and it was ok but decided to give it a second chance. Only to be disappointed again.
Place used to be great and is now a mess. Been an hr since I ordered food and it still hasn’t arrived. This is the 3rd straight time I’ve had issues with their delivery times. I was trying to be nice and order directly from them instead of using door dash… mistake.
All I have to say is they left there menu in our door and I should have known better then but we decided to order from there and the food didn’t taste bad but the next morning we thought we were Ganna die, me and my girlfriend BOTH had food poisoning we went to the doctor and he already knew what we had ate, apparently a numerous amount of people had came in for food poisoning because of lings fried rice. I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy it was the worst day of our lives.
We visited Lings last night to order takeout. We have ordered takeout at Lings plenty of times and I am normally the person placing the order. Last night as we can in my wife who is not familiar with ordering attempted to start placing the the with the you man behind the register. That young man was very rude. He made no attempt to explain or guide her. I had to step in and tell her it was better we leave and place our order at Suzie Wongs before I became rude with him.
Worse hot n sour soup ever. I also got the vege fried rice and it was crunchy and tasted like last week's makings. Whoever manages and specifically the owner, need to eat what they serve. My poor tummy percolating already..
