I cannot say enough good things about this place. it’s one of our absolute favorites! I lived in Thailand and can be picky about Thai cuisine, but this is truly the best Tom Yum I’ve had outside of Thailand. The medium spice level is definitely spicy, but incredibly flavorful. The crispy pork belly is another must-try, paired with the most amazing sauce. We also love the crab fried rice. The restaurant itself is small with a clean, modern aesthetic, and the man who is always working the front is wonderful. His kindness and service consistently make the experience even better.
I don’t know what’s authentic Thai food. I normally wait until I go to Austin to eat at Madam Mam’s for Thai food. After being introduced to Me’Khun, I feel I have a better understanding of it because it is AMAZING. It is delicious, soulful, and more Asian-like than Madam Mam’s. Real Thai people work in the back and front of the house. Real Thai people eat here, too. I’ve been there 3 times and have tried curry, pad thai, fried rice, and soup. I haven’t been disappointed. My normal order starts with the young coconut drink still in the coconut shell. Today, I felt like eating light so I ordered the raw salmon sushi roll. It is stuffed full of vegetables and rolled in rice paper but cut into sushi rolls. It comes with a delicious spicy sauce. Their menu isn’t huge but has a variety of options for everyone. I appreciate the cleanliness of the place every time I visit, including the bathrooms. It’s a small place so can get full fast. When they get busy, they can be slow but still good.
It’s hard to find a place where every dish is as delicious as it is here. This restaurant is like a rare gem hidden in Texas. The flavors are authentically Thai, and the presentation of the dishes is beautifully done. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. The service is excellent, and everyone working here is friendly and attentive. The owner is sweet and very welcoming to us. We’re so happy to have this restaurant in Katy!
My fam and I visited Texas last weekend from NJ and we craved for Thai food. We tried to look for one and found Me’Khun delicacies with a 5 stars rating so we might as well just gave it a try. Anyway, it came out that their foods were sooooo gooood. We were shock how authentic thai flavor they could provide. We over ordered everything. The menu looks good. The foods were flavorful and prices were reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and owner and staffs were real nice. We went there twice during our stay in Houston and still couldn’t get enough of it!!!!
This place is better than five stars. Spent some time in Thailand and this place is authentic and the real deal. The food is absolutely amazing! The shrimp cakes are a must as crispy and crunchy on the outside and full of shrimp on the inside. Fish cakes are also amazing with a strong delicious lemongrass taste. We also got the Tom kha, Pad Thai and the Chilli Basil and we cannot wait to try more of their items. This is probably as close as we have come to the real deal in Katy. Spent around $65 and did take out.
This food was delicious. We ordered takeout on a Sunday evening. It was fast and the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were way better than our other go to places. Can’t wait to go back again. We were very pleased.
This place is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in the Houston area. We ordered, grilled fish, chicken panang curry, Tom Yum soup, basil egg plant, chicken Thai fried rice. The taste of each dish is authentic and very, very delicious. If you can’t handle spicy food, make sure to tell them to prepare it mild or without spice. I will definitely come back whenever I crave Thai food.
We’ve been coming to Me’khun since they open, and it’s become our absolute favorite place for Thai cuisine. The food is consistently exceptional, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service makes us feel like part of the family. It’s the kind of place where we keep coming back to because it never lets you down. 100/10
My new favorite Thai spot! Their stir fried items have amazing wok char. The shrimp costs a little more but tasted really good and it was my favorite protein. Chicken, beef, tofu, and pork were good too. Super impressive Thai fried rice and pad kee mao. Very flavorful and reminds me of the ones I ate in Thailand!
Finally an authentic Thai restaurant in this part of town! Usually you'd have to drive 20-30 minutes one way to get actual Thai savories, so imagine my surprise when I took the first bite. Some Thai dishes might be famous for spiciness, but the chef can adjust to your preference so don't be afraid to check this place out. The flavors are still tasty and balanced without the excess chili; they can also ramp it up and still keep things well-rounded if you're so inclined. Will keep coming back for sure!
I’ve only been here two weeks after they opened, but the food is amazing! This is some of the best Thai food I’ve had since moving to Houston. The restaurant is in Katy, and I drove 25 minutes to get there—it was totally worth it! One of my favorite dishes was the somtum (papaya salad) Lao style. I asked them to add dried shrimp and make it super spicy with 5 chilies, and it was perfect—just like eating in Thailand! All the dishes we ordered were delicious. I also have to mention the longan drink—it’s the best! I had two glasses because it tasted just like the ones I used to have. The coconut milk ice cream was also a favorite, with a rich coconut flavor and smooth texture. I’ll definitely be back!
Hidden gem for authentic Thai food. Deep flavors and excellent service! They've been on point every time we've been here. For those who are gluten free, they've been able to make things like pad kee mao, pad woon sen, pad kra pao and fries rice dishes without soy sauce! Basically, if it's not pre marinaded or battered, they'll accommodate someone who is gf.
What an amazing addition to the growing Katy food scene. Loved the Pad Cha, the seafood was cooked perfectly (crispy, fresh, sweet) and the green peppercorns were a nice addition. I also enjoyed the pork jowl with the tamarind dip. The seasoning was on point and not overly sweet and one note like some run of the mill Americanized Thai restaurants. Also, I got the Laos papaya salad with 10/10 heat level and Me'Khun delivered! Spicy, sour, funky, sweet, crispy...really hit the spot!
The restaurant is located in a strip mall on Westgreen to the right of the Mafia Sushi. Lunch time was very busy with one waitstaff taking orders and managing the front. I ordered the Longnan tea and my son ordered the Thai coffee. The drinks was not too sweet and the coffee wasn't too strong. Like perfection.... The food took a while and we waited over 35 mins for our first apps to arrive then our order slowly came one after another. For starters; Chicken Satay - the chicken was flavorful, tender, juicy and moist. It came with a peanut dipping sauce and pickled cucumber and daikon. One of the best satay that I have eaten so far. Crispy roll - it was served right out of the fryer and very hot to the touch. The skin was crispy and there were a nice amount of fillings. You can choose to wrap it with lettuce since it's hot to the touch or if you can handle the heat, eat it like it is or dip it in fish sauce for further flavor enhancement. I wanted to to sample the lunch set so I chose the Noodle Lover Set. There was an option onto choose the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. Pad See Ew it is :) i also chose the medium spicy and it was still spicy and I think mild level would be best as I don't want to be in pain while eating. The set came out beautifully plated with the main dish along with small bites of starter i.e. steamed dumpling and pickled veggies and sides of crispy fried wonton with sweet chili sauce and fried tofu. Everything was delish! There was even a small dessert of coconut rice and mango served warm included in the lunch set...yummo! My son ordered the Curry Set (parang curry). He got the medium spice level and it was a bit spicy for him as well. I tasted a bit of his curry and it was slightly sweet but he enjoyed his dish along with his small bites. Usually my son don't like coconut but he liked his dessert. Also my son loved the crab fried rice. There were a good amount of chunky crab meat on top of the fried rice and the flavor was on par. Here is my after thought: the food was served piping hot and you could tell a lot of pride and love went into these dishes. The waitress and the owner/chef apologized for the long wait time but it was well worth the wait. We will be coming back to try other items on the menu.
This has quickly become one of my favorite Thai restaurants on the side of town. Unfortunately, this name does not scream Thai restaurant. I wish they would make a tweak to the name because the food is awesome. We’ve been here a couple of times and every time the food has been fantastic. You would not regret trying out this Thai restaurant, the flavors are excellent.
Authentic Thai Flavors at Me'Khun Delicacies – A Must-Try! If you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine, Me'Khun Delicacies should be at the top of your list. The menu is packed with classic Thai dishes, I love their Pad See Ew and Pad Cha. The Pad See Ew is hands-down the best in town. The perfectly cooked noodles are wok-fried with just the right amount of char, giving them a smoky flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. For something truly authentic, you have to try their Pad Cha. This dish bursts with bold Thai spices and flavors that’ll transport you straight to the streets of Bangkok. The stir-fried mix of aromatic herbs, spicy chili, and seafood is a true testament to authentic Thai cooking.
Had quite a feast. Ordered the pork belly, chicken wings, fried shrimp cake and chicken crispy rolls for appetizers. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. We also shared the grilled ribeye beef and pork fried rice. Again, everything was excellent. We finished with the sticky rice and mango. After all is said and done, we will definitely be back.
My family and I went to Me'Khun for lunch sets. We order rice set and noodle set. Shrimp Pad Thai is flavorful. All wok menus are surprisingly good and testy. I like the way they cook that makes me feel like I am serving with real Thai street food. My daughter loves dessert of the day ( mango with sticky rice a lot). Luch set is really worth starting less than $15.
Really enjoy their lunch special here. I had the chicken panang curry.. came with rice, brussel sprouts, pickled veggies, a dumpling, roti and a little mango dessert. The food was great, panang curry was just right. My husband tried the chicken basil lunch special and he enjoyed his lunch with a fried egg on top. He said the chicken wings are delicious! I'm definitely coming back to try more dishes.
This place was amazing. One of the truly different Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Many just seem to be the same thing but Me’Khun seems to try things a little differently. Already been here twice. First time I got to get lunch and their set lunch meals are really cool. There’s a little bit of everything, including desert. Ended up getting the ribeye and it was tasty. Love the fish cake and the fried pork belly which makes a good appetizer. They ran out of the jowl but I’m excited to go back to try that.
Not a lot of seats in Me'Khun Delicacies but the ambience is nice. Service felt slow since mainly 1 waiter was taking orders and bringing out food/drinks. However, he was still very attentive and provided excellent service. - Great Thai tea! - Thai papaya salad was worth trying once unless you like citrus flavors - Rad na noodle w/ beef was unique! Thick, savory sauce & tender beef with flat noodles. - Chicken Pad Thai was the highlight of the meal imo; super delicious! - Railroad fried rice w/ chicken was smoky & savory. Can't wait to try other fried rice options. - Full but still managed to finish the sweet rice & mango dessert. Highly recommend dining here!
I tried the Thai Boat Noodle soup today, and it was very tasty and genuine. The owner mentioned that their recipe is authentic, incorporating pork blood to make the broth thicker and richer, which was evident in the flavour. The soup was garnished with fried garlic, adding even more depth to the broth. For anyone looking for a distinctive dish that not many Thai restaurants in Houston offer, I strongly suggest giving it a try.
Just ate dinner here and wow! Everything is so good. Truly enjoyed my tom yum soup with shrimp and the drunken noodles (pad kee mao). My friends had the pad see ew and the pad kra pow and both enjoyed their dinner.
Must visit for delicious Thai cuisine! Starting with the fried chicken, with lemon chilli. You may have had fried chicken in different forms but this is just a mile above! Boat noodles are as authentic as one could get. Chicken satay is little bland but with the peanut sauce, it tastes great. You should also try their fried eggs in tamarind sauce. My favorite of all is their crispy fried salt and chilli shrimp. If you are extra adventurous, ask for extra spicy. They use thai chilies and finely chopped jalapeños.
Such a great spot! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, especially for how affordable it is. Everything tasted fresh, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Portions were generous and the variety made it a fun meal. Will definitely be back!
I've been meaning to try this place out for months! I had their pork belly, pork noodles, and coconut ice cream. The appetizer and the dessert were my favorites but the noodles were great too! I loved the atmosphere, my waiter was wonderful, and the food was delicious and flavorful. I'll definitely be back!
Finally!!!! A legit Thai restaurant in katy! Gotta have my laos papaya salad and larb and they’re doing it right! Soooo happy I found this place and it’s so close to my home.
I thought the food was pretty good! We got beef pad kee mao, beef pad thai, green curry with chicken, and the crabmeat fried rice. All of the dishes came out steaming hot and fresh. Glad we got mild, it had a good little kick without taking away the ease of eating the food. Our favorites were the crabmeat fried rice and green curry. They were perfectly seasoned and smelled so good. The pad kee mao was also good, but the portion was a bit on the smaller side. Both pad kee mao and pad thai noodles had a good chewy/bouncy texture. The pad thai was slightly on the more sour side, and I just prefer it on the sweeter side. Overall this place is good :) The waiter was very attentive and always refilled our waters when it was half full.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely love Me’Khun Thai Delicacies! Our server Bob is always so kind to us every time we come! The Chili Basil Pork is bursting with flavor — perfectly balanced spice, fresh ingredients, and that authentic Thai aroma that keeps you coming back for more. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out. If Google allowed 6 stars, I’d give them 6! Highly recommend to anyone craving real Thai comfort food done right. 🇹🇭✨
First time visiting here and this is absolutely one of the best Thai food in Katy. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. Highly recommend 😁 We will be back 😁
Probably the best Thai restaurant in Katy. I discovered this gem through friends and couldn’t be happier. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the place is spotless. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. I highly recommend it.
The restaurant has a simple yet elegant decor, with soft lighting that creates a pleasant dining experience. The food is served quickly, always hot, and has a delicious flavor. I ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Fried Squid, Grilled Beef Salad, Grilled Pork Skewers, and Thai Tea.
Best Thai food in Katy. Great service, PHENOMENAL food, warm and comforting atmosphere. Highly recommend green chicken curry, pork belly, and Brussel sprouts. We will be back again!
Great place to get Thai food in Katy Texas. Large and easy to read menu. Portion sizes were good, price point was good. Good service. Lots of seating and clean environment. The food was very flavorful. I highly recommend it would come back.
If you're craving authentic Thai food, this place is the real deal. Everything tastes just like it does back in Thailand — no adaptations to cater to Western tastes. It's 100% authentic. If you're missing the iconic grilled pork skewers, they’ve got it here! The pork is perfectly grilled, and the sticky rice is so soft, fragrant with herbs and spices. The lunch set is an absolute steal. You get a variety of dishes all in one tray, and honestly, it's more affordable than a bowl of pho elsewhere. The cashew chicken is definitely my top pick! The sauce is so delicious; once you start eating, you won’t want to stop. The fish dishes are fresh and tasty too, another menu highlight that left a great impression. I highly recommend this place. Not only is the food amazing, but the atmosphere is lovely, the service is excellent, and most importantly, it's clean. The restroom smells great too!
I ate dinner here twice recently while visiting family in the area. Having lived in Bangkok for several years, I have to say I was very impressed with the food at this restaurant. In two nights I ran through a lot of the items on the menu with my wife and daughter, and the flavor profile for every dish, side, and sauce was exactly what I came to expect in Thailand. Its impressive how they nailed each classic dish. Also, I have to say the fried shrimp cakes that were shaped like donuts were really outstanding, and an inventive preparation I had never seen before. If you are in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit to try.
This place is so good we went two days in a row! The lunch sets can't be beat for price or quality! We loved the pad see ew and pad Thai! The included sides and dessert were exceptional. Updating to say that this place is as delicious and friendly as ever! Don't miss it! The dinner menu is just as good! The grilled ribeye (crying tiger) melts in your mouth and the pork fried rice was delicious. We tried several appetizers including, shrimp cakes, wings, crispy chicken rolls, and pork belly. All were accompanied by the perfect sauces and tasted fresh and delicious. Don't miss out on the mango and sticky rice dessert! Yum! On top of all that, the service is perfect and the atmosphere is charming! This place has shot to the top of my favorites!
This place is a 10/10! This is the best Thai food in town! The food is very authentic, very flavorful, and very fresh! The service was great! The food came out pretty quick! The owner is very nice and accommodating! They also offer a great lunch menu with great prices! We ordered the fried squid, Khao Soi, wings and Penang curry ( my Thailand-born Cambodian husband CANNOT stop raving about it). We will be back for more! (We're planning on going back tomorrow)

I have ordered different Thailand foods here and they were all delicious and healthy. Low calories too. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, you don't wait long for the order to be ready. The price is very, very reasonable.

Un. Be. Lievable. Best Thai food ever. We had the classic Panang Curry... exceptional deep taste. We also tried the Railroad Rice with chicken. Incredible multiple spice tastes in each bite. And the third dish: Pad Ke Mao, with pork. WOW. Best Thai dish ever. I swear, we almost licked the plates. And the service was exceptional. Apparently, this is a family run restaurant. Everyone here is friendly, very caring, and they made sure everything was perfect. We will be back. Often. Just check them out. I'd be curious to see who agrees. Tom n Cheryl
😔😔... no like expected.. the soup was good but pork belly and the grill Rib Eye Beef no like they recommend it..!!! They are more options in Houston now.. if you want to recommend something will be for its authenticity no for the price!!!!..manager or owner never came over to the table to see if service and food was good neither but it's ok.. I always give an opportunity to get new recommendations but this wasn't like expected...
