We went and sat at the bar. Patyon made the best suggestions. He made incredible old fashions. The gumbo is true Louisiana style. Amazing. We would go back just for that. Really great oysters and the red fish was cooked so well. What a lovely place

I give this 5 stars for the amazing and quality service from our server and the foods that I loved! The fried green tomatoes were really delicious! I don’t really like tomatoes, but these were amazing. We had the gumbo👍, creamy pasta Rouxpour👌, shrimp etouffee🔥, crawfish 👍, pasta Rosa was bland👎, replaced that with the zydeco chicken👍, bread pudding- too much whiskey for my taste, replaced that with the chocolate cake 😋. Overall, it was a great experience, service by Barnes was immaculate, and the food that I liked was great!

My wife and I visited for our anniversary. We were not disappointed!!! Those oysters deserve every award they're up for!!! We had the filet and seabass special and we left no crumbs🤣 My wife even enjoyed the fish and she doesn't eat fish! Our server Allen recommended everything we tried and I'm glad he did!!! We laughed at him he laughed at us, it was good time!!! 10/10!!! They need to get one in the Dallas area so we can go often lol

In the heart of Cinco Ranch this restaurant offers amazing service, quality and taste. Everything we ordered was delicious. For the price it is well worth it. The gumbo here is one of the best that I’ve had so far, it’s a must try if you come to this restaurant. I was very pleased with the service and the atmosphere. Also, the quality of the food is great but most important the taste is there in every dish. Will definitely go back and finish trying their menu out.

If you thought you didn’t like oyster please try their chargrilled oysters. My favorite is La Madeleine. I also love their boudin! The atmosphere is so chill and upscale. The service is always great everyone is very attentive and warm. Thanks guys!

We have been here twice now and both times the food and service have been excellent. The oyster combinations are delicious, the shrimp and grits had a great flavor and the Mahi Mahi was just the right amount of spicey. We ended our meal with a light creme brulee. We will be visiting during brunch hours to try on the weekends.

This is a great place to eat at in Katy. The food was awesome and the staff was great. My first time experience was the oysters, I never had-’em before and they was delicious. “Flavor was on point”. Also I had stuffed chIcken, asparagus and a loaded fried potato. Again, great flavors and a nice consistency of gravy over the chicken which made it tasted even better. This will be my go to spot in Katy. If anyone is is thinking about eating some good food with great service, please stop here and try it out for yourselves.

This was my first time here. Service was great, everyone was friendly, attentive and checked on us. The food was amazing. I can’t say I’ve ever had fried green tomatoes before but I will definitely be getting them again! I’ll definitely be back again!

I really like this place. I'm from New Orleans, and the seating, decor and atmosphere made me feel right at home. Really clean, servers and staff are friendly. Of course, wear a face covering unless you are seated. The food was absolutely amazing. Started off with red beans and rice that came with andoulie sausage, and some etouffe with crawfish. Both were piping hot and full of flavor. I'm used to food with some heat to it, others may not be, so just remember that because I could taste the spice. My fiance had the crawfish bisque and a pasta dish with blackened chicken. My entrée was stuffed shrimp with veggies and mashed potatoes. I loved every bite. You can clearly taste the flavors, everything was so fresh. Plus, while I was stuffed, I still had to try the white chocolate bread pudding with ice cream. I was full to the gills, and smiling the whole time. If you are looking for very good quality Louisiana style food, please give this place a try. I honestly want to go back soon and I'm sure you will too once you give it a try.

I have been to Rouxpour twice in Cinco Ranch and the food and service was awesome. The atmosphere was nice and not lot of noise our long wait time. Definitely a place I will continue to return to.

Excellent choice for Easter brunch, and I'm so glad I made reservations. Oh man, the food was superb. We came in hungry after church, but after two glasses each of the Bloody Mary and Slurricane, we could barely finish a bowl of gumbo!! The oyster are a must-try, especially if you don't like them raw. Soo many flavors to choose from. Sit outside if the weather is good, the little water lake is cute and you can people watch. Will definitely return.

Went to Rouxpour to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday on Sunday about 2:30 pm. We started had a party of 13. Dave, the manager, I believe was very kind and patient with us as we had several last minute changes. He probably got tired of us calling him but he never let it show and was always nice and professional. Our waiter Phillipe. (?) was wonderful!! Very efficient. There was a female waitress as well but I didn't get her name. She was also very kind and patient with us. We had a very good time. Next time I'm in Houston I will definitely come back. 4 of us had the stuffed shrimp and it was good. Had an old fashion with Bulliet bourbon.... wonderful!!! I don't think anyone was disappointed. Fried shrimp was good. So was the salmon dish and the gumbo was a hit. The fondue with the bread was 🔥🔥🔥 a were the Cajun deviled eggs. If Rouxpour ever considers a Midwest location, please pick Kansas City!!!!! Thanks for making my mom's birthday celebration a good one!!!

We had the best time! Gregory W was attentive, knowledgeable, polite, respectful and the perfect waiter. Now the food!!! Sooo delicious. The sauces were creamy and the flavor transforms your mouth. Everything was cooked to perfection and arrived at the table hot and timely. The descriptions were exact. As Greg said 'New Orleans flavor with Texas portions'. The fried green tomatoes had this sauce on them that elevated the dish.

It was nice. Possibly the best restaurant in La Centerra. They do have a dress code. Don't wear sleeveless shirts, although it is unlikely that one would wear one to here. The service was good, not exceptional, but exactly what one would expect from a restaurant of this class. It's not necessarily an economic choice, but I would say its price is fairly worth it given the taste. The environment was also fairly nice. I ordered some oysters for starters. It was the first option for the oysters, and it was pretty decent. Not exactly the most memorable, but solid. Our group ordered a seafood gumbo, a crab stuffed fish fillet (maybe? I don't remember the exact name) and some pork dish, which I didn't get an opinion on. So I will comment on solely the seafood gumbo and the fish. The seafood gumbo was pretty nice, very solid choice. Only thing I could have as a complaint is that it's a bit too salty. Nonetheless, it was fairly pleasurable to taste. The fish fillet was a bit less salty, which made it more enjoyable than the gumbo. Its sauce had a decent flavor, and the crab was a neat addition. Overall, solid. This experience was not the most impressive on every single aspect, but it nailed every one of them. It is a very solid restaurant that is a viable choice for almost all situations. I recommend it. Just saying, it is still a little pricey.

Such a beautiful location! We had so much fun on a ladies lunch. The staff was friendly and we even had a bonus because it was whiskey Wednesday so old fashioned whiskeys were discounted as well as “you call it’s”. Definitely coming back for the live music they have on Thursdays!

It was the 7th year anniversary of my wife's mother's untimely death, my wife and I were understandably sad, so I decided to take her to the Rouxpour. I wanted to brighten her mood and since we both loved the one they have at Memorial City location, we decided to give this one a chance. My review will primarily be focused on: (1) Aesthetics: Parking/Crowd/Ambience (2) Food (3) Service (4) Price (1) Aesthetics: We arrived around 2pm on a weekday, there was about 3-4 parking spots available close to the restaurant. We entered and the place was maybe 25% full, there were enough seats available. They also have outside seating for anyone who prefers the cool breeze. Love the look and feel of the place. (2) Food: The choices of the meals they had was appealing and satisfying, be that as it may, I'm a routine type of guy so I ordered the same thing I ordered before. I didn't remember the name so I just pulled up the picture I took of my meal the last time, they knew exactly what to prepare (check out the pics 📸). Appetizers was great also, I'm terrible at remembering meal names but I take some mean clear picture of them for references lol. Anyway, the food was delicious, the drinks were divine, I'm guessing that's why we spent almost $100 on the drinks. (3) Service: Our waitress was Adriana, she had a professional countenance but with a welcoming smile. She brought out our food on time, and assisted us with any extra items we needed. When she was busy, the manager Andrew helped us out (he actually went to the kitchen personally to get what we needed), Andrew was also around to make sure everything was fine. (4) Price: It isn't cheap, but it's affordable. I expected our bill to be higher than it was but it wasn't. Affordable I'd say. So if you're looking for a place to go eat, try this location, tell them JIDENSKY sent you, they probably will treat you the same awesome way they treat everyone else, but at least they'd know you were referred lol.

We had an enjoyable experience at this location with great food and drinks. We decided to bring our daughter and SIL during the kick-start the holiday season. We were not disappointed. Our waiter Alan was jovial, menu knowledgeable, and patient as we tried our darnest to decide from all the scrumptious dishes. The guys had mules and the the gals had Elderflower French. We ordered 2 deviled eggs as we waited for our food to arrive. Be patient, they’re actually cooking it. We were happy and satisfied guests. Yes, we will go again and again. P.S. we forgot to take photos of the food!

My wife and I visited this Rouxpour for my Britt bday. Great service great food! Our waiter was brilliant! He had the bartender make my wife a non alcoholic drink since she is pregnant. I got the salmon but with the Treme’ sauce as substitute for the sauce that came on it originally and it was amazing

This was our first time going here my husband loves oysters and we heard very good things about this restaurant and sure enough we were very impressed he was able to get fresh raw plain oysters Just the way he likes them with hot sauce and lemon and he said they were amazing! I myself had brunch I did à la carte a few eggs some potatoes and some bacon and it was incredible bacon has a smoky Louisiana finish and the potatoes are cooked to perfection with a Parmesan butter, my kids had chicken tenders and french fries and they were amazing they also had a touch of Louisiana flavor and they absolutely loved them! Our waitress was awesome she welcomed us and explained about the restaurant the story behind it the owner a little bit of everything and it was great it was like brunch and a show! We Definitely plan on going back soon and we look forward to the whiskey dinner that they’re having coming up in the next week or so

We went here for an anniversary dinner, having been to the Rouxpour in Memorial City for lunch. Booking a table was easy, there was 0lenty of parking nearby and the atmosphere was great with attentive but not overbearing service. We had the devilled egg starts which had a good amount of kick to them, and then I had boudin stuffed shrimp. They were fantastic and went well with the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. For desert we shared a banana foster, the sauce of which tasted wonderful.

Went out for dinner to & had great food, only complaint is deviled egg app is overpriced. 4 egg halves (equivalent of 2 whole eggs) seem a bit pricey for 12 bucks. Each egg was delicious and has a mini shrimp and sausage sliver on it. Food and sauces had great flavor and seasoned well. We even got a bread pudding that was delicious and had a holiday spiced taste to it. Also please note their table is decorated with pennies, in case you're wondering.

Once we placed our order, the food came out rather quickly. The food was delicious. We are from Louisiana and the gumbo taste like homemade. The mimosa are good as well. . 1st time coming here. Food was amazing the only issues I had was the waitress drinks came out very slow. We order not 1 but 3 oyster trays and apparently she heard 1. It wasn't that busy because there wasn't that much tables around us. My bf and friend had to go to the bar and ask for the beer because she kept forgetting about it, it took her forever to even give a napkins and straw and when we were placing our order instead of her asking is there anything else she walked off rudely for paying almost $400 for my tab not inclung which we gave her more then it was asked in the receipt. We never once was given a name. Overall the food was good and restaurant was beautiful. But for the server please make sure your server introduce themselves 1st. Check up on the customers. And make sure everyone at the table is done order before walking off rudely.

The shrimp ettouffe was amazing. I didn't enjoy the shrimp and sausage Gumbo as much as I anticipated. The bananas foster was delicious. The male waiter provided excellent service. Prices were reasonable.

Our server was David he went above and beyond with his customer service. He was enthusiastic and informed us of the specials and was very thorough. Food was outstanding! Char grilled oysters ,shrimp and crawfish fondue, ribeye and stuffed flounder were all top tier quality and flavor!! Highly recommend this place for cajun new orleans style seafood!!

Felipe’s service and recommendations and assistance was superb. Went Friday evening on a date with my wife. First time ever for me to actually eat and swallow oyster. Not really a seafood guy, and Last experience was not so pleasant. The signature original recipe offered here is very very tasty. The lobster tail and 6oz steak was also very tasty.

The Rouxpour is a spectacular creole restaurant that serves amazing food with a very classy ambiance. Very New Orleans themed with fleur de lis marks on the balcony that over casts the dining room hall, down to some of the tables that you eat upon! The tables are also has penny designed encased while making a design with said pennies. We always get the oysters as an appetizer, and yes, although I always avoid eating oysters, these charboiled oysters are delicious. The highlight would most likely be the food! I get the zydeco chicken, or the stuffed boudin chicken. It really depends on your style and what fits you (as that can be said with virtually anything in life), for example: I love the food there. My parents on the other hand, thought it was way too salty and did not like the 20% gratuity added to the bill and also said it was way too cold in the restaurant. Perception is reality and honestly to me those are first world problems. That being said, they also saw a president get impeached, cry on national television, get on a helicopter and set off into the sunset. At the end of the day, it is what you make of it. Go ahead and give them a try!

Roxpour is our favorite Cajun/Seafood restaurant in Katy, TX. Tom is a friendly and attentive manager along with Miguel our favorite waiter. They have the best gumbo by far and delicious Rockefeller oysters! The Mexican Martini is our favorite but great selection as well!

We were sat by their nostalgic Christmas tree and got to observe the quality catering to the guests by the staff here at Rouxpour in Cinco Ranch. The oysters are some of the freshest I've had since moving to this area. I was impressed by the playing of the eggs and the flavors of my entree. It's worth mentioning they have really good seafood.

This place was absolutely amazing. We came here to celebrate a friend, and from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The location is beautiful, and the service was top-notch, from the hostess greeting us to the attentiveness of our waiter. You can really tell they care about the experience they’re creating. The food did not disappoint. We started with the lobster bisque, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve only had lobster bisque this good twice in my life, once in Ecuador and now here, which says a lot. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. To top it all off, there was live music on Thursday night, which made the evening even more enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this spot for a date night, a family gathering, or a special celebration. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere, this place delivers on all of it. We’ll definitely be back.

This is hands down my favorite Cajun restaurant in Katy! We always sit at the bar with Ryan. He’s incredibly attentive and kind, and he always has the best drink and nightly special recommendations. The grilled oysters are to die for, the service is always prompt, and the food comes out hot and delicious every single time. I don’t even like green beans, but I ate these up because they were cooked perfectly. Everything was absolutely amazing; no suggestions needed. We come here almost weekly and it never disappoints!

Love this place for Cajun good. However, I wish they played Zydeco or Jazz music to enhance your vibe and experience. The food is a little overpriced for what you get. Service can be a little slow at times but accommodating. Great experience and will be back. The wine was nice and cold!! Update 8-29: Went back for a date and Michelle as our waitress and she was amazing!! Thorough, friendly and efficient service! We had a very romantic date night and were in and out with one hour of our reservation time which is how we prefer!!

We had a last min change of plans last night and ended up at Rouxpour! And was pleasantly surprised! Service was great Tyler was our waiter, he was fun and had us laughing. They were super busy.. but our food was amazing! We had the lobster bisque for appetizers. Crab stuffed snapper for main course! It was absolutely amazing! It should definitely be added to the normal menu! The chef sent out chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and they were great! We had multiple members of management stop by our table and check on us. Anything we needed was brought out immediately. We anticipated it to be a long dinner since it was so packed… but it wasn’t! We will definitely be back to pay Tyler a visit!

We visited The Rouxpour for the first time and had a good experience. We ordered the Jumbo Fried Shrimp, Crab Cakes, and a cup of Crawfish Bisque. The shrimp were certainly “jumbo” and they were fried perfectly in panko bread crumbs. The crab cakes were some of the best we have ever had. They had a lot of crab and a wonderful flavor with the sauce. The crawfish bisque was not as rich and spicy as others we have had, but the flavor was good. We did experience some issues with our server. She was not very attentive, and rarely visited our table. She also brought a bowl of bisque instead of a cup (which is an additional -$8). She was young and appeared to be preoccupied with other things, maybe a bad day, so we did not complain. Had the service been better, we would have rated our visit 5 stars.

I love this place for what it offers, good food and a nice view on a lake. Its been one of my favorites for the last 6 years for cajun food. And my favorite thing to order there is seafood fondue and grilled oysters

The food at the Rouxpour is phenomenal. I really enjoyed the rockefeller oysters, pasta rosa, and some carefully crafted cocktails from the bar. I will definitely be back.

Great food but pricey for Katy range, we have to wait longer because our foods were served to other table but they comped us with another round drink. $50 for seabas dish is $$$$$, more than high class restaurant.

I've ordered on uber eats from here before and finally went in person. The menu options are more plentiful in person and the food is WAY better hot and fresh in person. The food is really fantastic, great flavors. I went on a Thursday night and it was hopping, service was fairly good but I think with the crowd and cramped seating and noise it was a challenge for the server to be prompt and to hear well. Atmosphere is not conducive to conversation with more than 1 or 2 people unless you yell. The piano player is good but loud and it was a quite festive near the bar area, if that's your vibe go for it! For a more chill dinner where you want to hear well, not so much. That's not a knock on this place just the kind of atmosphere it is. Overall I will be back for the food and maybe just with the wife and not a group of 8. Seating seemed a little cramped, but the food was worth it! Park in the parking garage nearby, enter off 99 going south past cinco ranch Blvd, and walk. Parking anywhere within La Centerra is a nightmare do not bother.

The food was really delicious. Chicken stuffed with boudin with cheese sauce was sooo good. There award winning gumbo was the best in Katy. The blackened halibut with spinach cream sauce was really flavorful. I usually don’t write about our waiters, but Gregory went above and beyond. So polite with old world charm.

Walked into rouxpour to enjoy a cocktail & place a takeout order. My typical French 75 wasn’t a challenge for the bartender(which in franchised places like this usually is the case). I ordered crab fingers to enjoy while I waited & they came out very quickly. The entire staff looked after me, making sure I felt comfortable allowing anyone to take care of me. I appreciated knowing that I’m not “stuck” waiting for a server who may have gotten hung up with another guest or waiting on the bar. Everyone was professional & efficient. Our order was correct when I returned home, including having all the sauces on the side to avoid soggy food upon arrival. Rouxpour did an all around good job & their hostess Presley was sweet & attentive.

Nice vibe here. You can sit for a while and enjoy yourself. I wound visit this place for the variety of grilled oysters, appetizers, and drinks. The entrees are not as great, and definitely not worth the price for them. But grilled oysters are delicious- we tried several kinds.

Great location, food and service. We enjoy the deviled eggs, fried boudain balls, sliced filet appetizer, wedge salad, the boudain stuffed chicken and the potato cakes. There are a bunch of other items we want to try. We've come here quite a few times and everything so far has been great. Nice patio. Drinks: Their old fashioned is on point. Great wine list as well.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. There is a dress code. I chose to sit outside. I had the salmon lafitte with the sauce on the side. It was delicious! Friendly service and informative. Already making plans for when I can visit again.

Food is great. We love going. My one complaint is when you get your digital bill with 20, 25, or 30% tip choice, the amounts are computed on the total bill. TIPS GO ON TOP OF THE FOOD BILL, NOT THE TAX. This is actually fraud. I don’t know how we’re talking about tips bigger than 20%. 20% is plenty exorbitant. I’m okay with tipping 20% when the service is good, but don’t fraud me to get more.

The food was spot on and so was the recommended wine. I initially ordered a “spritz”, it wasn’t quite a spritz. It was horrible. The glass was full of ice with a bit of sparkling water and a hint of champagne/wine. Food and wine 👍 Cocktails 👎 Overall good service and food.

It was a good experience. The atmosphere was good. It was a moderate environment as far as sound. There was music playing but not loud. Conversations could be made with no interruptions. The server was very nice and attentive. The food was of good quality. There was a major opportunity with the flavor of the food. It really needed seasoning. As a Louisiana native, all foods can have seasoning. It doesn't have to be blackened to be seasoned(even though the server told me that was the key to getting more flavor to the food). I hope this review is taken as an opportunity for growth. In my opinion, that's the only opportunity for this restaurant. Due try it out for yourself.

This restaurant has a few locations. We came to the one in Katy. We were seated upon entry. We had the crab cake and deviled eggs as appetizers. Both were okay. The chicken and sausage gumbo was tasty with a little spicy kick. Our entree included the chicken salad with pecans and creamy pasta with shrimp. We topped it off with the white chocolate bread pudding which was delicious. A great spot for date night, graduation or birthday party, or girls night out. The bar has a nice vibe too.

We just weren't impressed at all. They also "ran out of veggies" which was odd, so we got no vegetables with our food. Razoo's definitely has better food which is crazy to say. The service, decor, and ambience were on point. That's what we felt we paid for because the food and the price don't match up. We visited The Rouxpour for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was a Wednesday evening, so they were not busy. It’s a nice Restaurant., nice decor. We got seated and promptly greeted by our waiter. She was very nice, explained the menu and was attentive at all times. For appetizers we got the Cajun Deviled eggs, they were very good, one of the best I’ve had. Also the signature chargrilled oysters. I personally did not like them, as the amount of Parmesan & Romano cheese was so much that it absolutely overpowered the oysters. You couldn’t taste them at all, just the enormous amount of cheese flavor.. I wasn’t the only one who thought the same about the oysters. The spring shrimp salad, ordered with a side of Salmon. The salmon was so overcooked, nothing special about the salad. I ordered a filet mignon. Which I have to say it was flavorless…. So bland, it definitely was not worth the $55+ at all. The Salmon Lafitte was good.. honestly the rest of the food was just normal. Nothing wow to justify their prices. The side of toasted bread on each plate…. When have you seen that at a high end restaurant? Definitely not needed if they want to charge those prices, at least don’t make it look cheap. Service: It was very slow, still our drinks from the bar took 20 minutes. That is way too long, then the appetizers also took a while, we kept on getting other people orders as the other waiters kept on bringing us somebody else’s order. Overall, service wasn’t great… everything took so long, and it wasn’t our waiters fault, more so on the Bar and kitchen. Now imagine when they are busy. Parking: Well, it’s la Centera. You already know how it is with parking.

There were 4 ladies at the front desk station. None of them welcomed us into the restaurant when I approached the desk they asked me to hold on. Then another guy came over and they took his info and seated him. Then they squabbled and finally sat us but it was completely disorganized and unprofessional. The food was good, our server was great. I can’t say I would go back. There are other restaurants at this price point that do a better job overall.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate asking my future in-laws for my girlfriend’s hand in marriage. This was an extremely important night, and I chose this place because my first time here was exceptional. I loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. But sadly, this will be my last time at this restaurant. The night started off with us being seated at a cramped table/booth for five people. We were given 4 menus for 5 people and one drink menu. Our server was MIA but they had another server step in, so no issues with that at first. I spoke with the manager and he moved us to a more spacious table so we weren’t cramped all over each other. Once we moved to this table things were better for a time. However, for the rest of the evening, no a single cup of water was refilled and our appetizer plates and empty drinks sat on the table with us in the way, after our food had already arrived, until we asked the server to remove these items. The oyster Rockefeller was decent, but too cheesy in my opinion and not as tasteful as other versions I have had, such as Winsome Primes version. Our server made herself scare during our dinner and we barely saw more than 4-5 times. I ordered the special which was an 8 ounce steak with broccolini, shrimp on top and I subbed out the Mac and cheese for a Caesar salad. Most of the food we had was good, but the Caesar salad was over dressed despite my request for light dressing and the dressing was sweet for some reason which was off putting. The major red flag of the night was my steak was extremely rare despite the fact that I asked for medium well. Obviously I didn’t realize this until I got toward the center. But I still had a good portion of my 8oz left. The server took forever to come back so when she finally did it was toward the end of our meal. She asked if I wanted it to be cooked more and I said no since it already took them a long time to bring it out originally. When I got the bill, the steak was still on the bill at full price. Now I understand paying for the sides and shrimp I ate but full price for a rare steak I sent back made no sense. I spoke with manager who indicated my server said I brought this to her attention at the end of my meal after all my sides were gone and the majority of the steak, which was an absolute lie. At the end of the day, our server took forever to return, so I couldn’t have let her know sooner unless I went and found her. But the manger wanted to argue, so I said don’t worry about it and paid full price for everything and left no tip as the service was well below the standard. I don’t ask for much when I go to restaurant except respect, good service, and the food as I requested it. Although the majority of the food we had was decent. This situation put a bad taste in my mouth and I’m satisfied with never eating anything else here again. The whole night multiple people kept discussing how busy it was but there were plenty of empty seats and tables, and I don’t believe a busy restaurant mean the customers must sacrifice their expectations and still pay full price.

Don't believe the hype. This was my 1st visit because my daughter said it had the best oysters 🤔ah, that would be a NO. The service and the food was somewhat to be desired. The Chargrilled Oysters Rockefeller and Spinach Madeline arrived warm at best and lacked any flavor. The salmon lacked flavor as well, the crawfish cream sauce on top kept it from being dry (I asked for more to help that). The jambalaya, should be rice with tomato paste because jambalaya it was not; it too lacked flavor and seasoning. The asparagus served with the salmon was cold. The best thing I had was the blueberry martini. The required 15% service charge was ok if the waiter was to be found. We had to keep stopping him for service because he was not attentive at all. We however didn't have to wait for him to bring and pickup the check. 😳 all in all this place is too over-rated. I was so disappointed especially after paying $112. I don't mind paying that much for good food and service.

We stopped here yesterday with my husband as we decided on a last minute date night. We have come here in the past but mostly go to the one in Sugar Land. My husband actually reserved the party room for my birthday a couple of years ago & we loved the food. For this location, I have come for business lunch meetings, girls Happy Hour or picked up food to go. We always get the shrimp PoBoy to go & in the past we would ask for the larger shrimp for the PoBoy. This time we asked if we could order a PoBoy & they told us it was only available during lunch. My son then wanted us to take him a PoBoy so we asked if we could order it to go. The waiter was super nice & he went to the back to ask but was told no by two managers (Kitchen & general). Apparently the only way to get a PoBoy when is not lunch time is if you order through Doordash. We spoke with Adam, the manager, and he reiterated that we couldn’t order the sandwich to go, that it was only available through the apps. We didn’t understand the difference and just left to order a PoBoy from Half Shelves down the street. It’s just so crazy to me that they would have everything to make an order but they would only prepare it if you order it through the apps… is it just me? That they would rather customers spend money elsewhere than to prepare something to make the customer happy. We didn’t ask them to go out of their way and we were already dining in. Oh well. We will not be back to this location. It seemed personal.
