My first time at Torchy's. I had the Chicken Fajita tacos, which were extremely tasty. The salsa that comes on the side had just the right amount of heat. Two tacos were plenty filling. I'll be back!

Love this place and can get something for everyone from the breakfast tacos to the gourmet tacos and kids meals. I Always get the queso (which comes with tasty green chilies and quac in the queso) is always delicioso and their quac is outstanding. While I have tried many of their tacos I usually keep it simple and go for Chicken Fajita taco and Mr. Pink is also delicious if you love Salmon my sons love the Trailer Park . Torchy’s continues to be consistently delicious at this location and the others I have eaten at!

Torchy's Tacos has been a family favorite of ours since we stumbled across it almost 3 or 4 years ago. I always get the Burrito there. My wife loves their Brushfire Tacos and excessive amounts of Diablo Sauce. Kids love the Beef Quesadillas. We all also enjoy there Chips and Queso appetizer or the Guacamole and Chips!!! All is fresh tasting and delicious!! Recommended to anyone who enjoys this style of Mexican cuisine. Prices are pretty fair to the point my large family can order for 6 and while everyone leaving with a full stomach can keep the tab under $100 and that's with a good tip included. Speaking of tip we always end up leaving a nice tip for the staff their because the never fail coming through with wonderful customer service allowing us to leave there full, happy, filled with happy family memories while enjoying a laugh from time to time with the pleasant staff!!!

I accidentally messed up my order here on Aug 14 and set it for the wrong date and time but the manager whose name I didn't get a chance to ask was SO NICE. I came in and told them about my mistake and it was right near the closing time but they still made time to see if the kitchen could get our order in for the night. They made it work and even offered us free soft drinks while we waited. I worked food service for over five years and I am so impressed with the service and care and kindness at this Torchys. Especially the manager 🫶✨🙏😭🫡 thank you x100

I ate there on Tuesday the 5th. I have several allergies and the manager came over and walked me through all the things that I could have and also made some great recommendations. The guy at the cash register very nice and went over and beyond every step of the way. Highly recommend this place.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. Queso hillbilly style to start. They have great guacamole. The torchi’s tini is my favorite adult beverage. We love trying the taco of the month each month. Our favorite taco of the month by far was Tokyo drift.

As a visitor from Minnesota, I have to say, I saw a hint of the divine in these tacos. SO delicious! I ordered two thinking they would be quite small but they weren't! I was full after one! Very unique flavors and combinations. I will definitely find my way back to a Torchys Tacos again!!

The food was really good, it came quick, fresh, and the service is fast despite it being a high traffic time. Best things to get are shrimp Baja tacos, chicken tacos, and chicken burritos. Queso and chips are a must here but skip the elotes.

My fiance toom me, as well as my soon to be sister in law as a treat. They loved the churros and the food. My stepmother is Jamaican so I'm always wanting jerk chicken and it delivered here, with a kick. The hot sauce dip was great, but the taco had so much flavor I didn't use it. I never thought of adding fresh mango to jerk chicken. It seems to work!

I've been here a handful of times and love it! The tacos are amazing and rich with flavor. This last visit I had the Baja Shrimp and Trailer Park(trashy style). They both came with a dipping sauce. I also got the chips and queso, THE BEST! This is the most consistent taco place I've been to and I'll definitely be back!

My girlfriend took me here as my first time in huston because she swears this place is the bees knees lol. I must say I was impressed. Inside is pretty dope and they have a bar so I didn’t expect that at all. My girlfriend and I are pescatarian so we can’t have much of the stuff in the menu but the choices they did have was excellent!

This location is easy to find in the heart of LaCenterra. There is ample parking and the entrance is well lit. Inside the location is split in 2 sections. There is a quieter side directly at the entrance where there is plenty of seating. The bar splits the location in two. Bartenders are always friendly and willing to strike up conversation. On the far side of the bar there are additional tables with a few tvs hanging on the wall that play any games that are on. Ordering is simple and the food comes out fairly quick. The tacos are delicious and flavorfull. I definitely recommend the chips an queso. The queso is thick and has great texture against the freshly made chips. If your in the Katy area I highly recommend this location.

Came on a Wednesday evening, wasn't stop busy, plenty of tables available. I got my usual, fried avocado and half order of queso. The food came out quickly too so that was nice. Food tasted great.

Went there to try the fried avocado taco and I was surprised how delicious a vegetarian dish can be. I also tried the crossroads & brushfire taco which were great too. Staff was very friendly & service was very fast. I definitely will come back to that place.

Went in for a late night bite and had a southern style taco (Alabama-something?) with breaded fish and it did not disappoint. I’ve been to several Torchys in the past and the quality, value and taste is consistently good. Hard to beat and the full bar always has its benefits!!!

Torchy’s Tacos is one of our favorite spots in town! It’s the perfect place to grab a cold beer, enjoy some tacos for lunch, or even host a casual event. The manager, Andrew, is always incredibly helpful and quick to support local community events, which says a lot about their culture here. The bartenders and cashiers are all fantastic — welcoming, upbeat, and always make you feel like family. Saturday mornings with Kassy behind the bar feel a lot like Cheers — everyone knows everyone, and it’s just a great vibe all around. Highly recommend!

Torchy's Queso is truly a divine gift to humanity, something not made of this earth, a magical elixir, pure liquid gold, a fountain of youth. There has not been a queso I have ever had that compares and I fear will not ever be one to surpass it. It is so rich, smooth, the scoop of guac adds layers, the green chiles make me want to dance, and the extra spice of diablo sauce truly make this a supernatural creation. Since moving out of Texas it is the one menu item I think about at least once a day and live for to return to and have again. My 2026 new years resolution is to convince Torchy’s Corporate to open a location in NYC. Thank you for this creation. Now that Ive expressed feelings about the queso, lets talk about the tacos. So many to choose from including a secret menu which is so fun. My fav which I always have to get is the Trailer Park. Probably the furthest thing from an authentic taco but hey it’s genius and it’s delicious so just silence and eat it. The chicken is always crisp, and the green chiles once again make me want to dance. I also tried their taco of the month this month which was the Swinger. Pork had such a fire flavor and the pineapples were juicy, really enjoyed this one!

Although you walk in thinking it's just another fast-food franchise so stand in line, before you finish reading the menu items on the wall, you are already at the order counter. Some really interesting menu items and it appears to present a monthly specialty item. Fast ordering, fast service, delicious items (including adult beverages) with a side of chips, queso and salsa, the entire family was well satisfied. My bext visit to town will have me here again!

Tbh I was a bit hesitant about this place, but I gave it a try. The guacamole is very good. Had the beef tacos. They were good. Nice little restaurant. It was a full house. Try it out!

*** Oct 2024 update... this location is still great. It's better than most of the other Torchy's I have gone to. Good food, nice servers, clean bathrooms (but needs some handy work to be done in a few places like the bathrooms (e.g.; touchup painting, minor repairs). I didn't notice a manager on duty but was focused on the tasty food. Previous post Great food and good service. I like the location since you can walk off the calories once you are done.

The baja shrimp and chicken fajitas was very good. The place was packed with people for dinner. Love the food and the chip and dip. One thing I don't like is the dirty restroom. The price is per taco ranging from around $3-5.

Torchy’s offers a great selection of tacos and sides made with fresh ingredients. Among my favorites are The Democrat with shredded barbacoa beef and their Beef Fajita taco. I recommend you also try their Sweet Corn which is delicious! Restaurant also provides outdoor tables.

Wanted to get a quick bite so I decided to try Torchys. Menu was easy to read with lots of tacos and sides to pick from. They have their calories on their menu which is always a plus. I was impressed when the tacos came out, they looked delicious. My first bite was filled with juicy, soft, flavorful salmon for my Mr. Orange which was my favorite taco that I got. I would come back!

We tried a bunch of different tacos, some yummy like the shrimp, barbacoa, and the sausage ones. The others not great because the fish and the chicken were hard and dry. They had a strange soda selection, drinks I had never heard of. Overall a good place for lunch or snacks, but not my idea of a dinner place.

Torchy's tacos is a convenient quick trip in La Centerra. They have great queso and guacamole for snacks during shopping trips. However, the tacos are inconsistent. Sometimes they're fresh, and other times they're struggling, especially for the price tag on them. The breakfast tacos seem to be the most consistent at this location. I keep coming back because of the convenience, but there are other options in the area worth exploring.

I've eaten here before and have always thought it was pretty good so had it delivered. The fish taco was ok, kinda dry. The shrimp taco was better, but the corn definitely didn't fill my cravings of Chicago style street corn.

I pick up an order to-go weekly. The order is always accurate and the food is good but it's disappointing that the ladies at the bar hand me my order and just walk away. It would be nice if they would say "Thank You" or "Have a nice day." Appreciation for the customer's business is important to me. There are lots of other restaurants in the area who's staff gets it. I guess I'll start giving my business and tip elsewhere.

We went around 4:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to order as soon as we walked in. We ordered 4 tacos & 2 sodas and paid just over $30. I ordered the Trailer Park & the Beef Fajita. The Trailer Park consists of Fried Chicken, Green Chiles, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo & Cheddar Jack Cheese with Poblano Sauce on a Flour Tortilla. The Beef Fajita consists of Marinated & Grilled Beef, Grilled Onions & Peppers, Pico de Gallo & Cheddar Jack Cheese with Roja Sauce on your choice of Tortilla. My friend got the Tipsy Chicken & the Chicken Fajita. The Tipsy Chicken consists of Marinated and Grilled Chicken, Spinach, Grilled Corn, Green Chiles & Cheedar Cheese with Chipotle Sauce on a Flour Tortilla served with a side of Bacon Bourbon Marmalade. The Chicken Fajita consists of Marinated & Grilled Chicken, Grilled Onions & Peppers, Pico de Gallo & Cheddar Jack Cheese with Tomatillo Sauce on your choice of Tortilla. The food was good. I actually tasted 3 of the 4 tacos and while they were good, they all tasted alike. I didn't feel like there was anything special about them, nor did I walk away thinking, "we gotta come back." Actually, I felt like I hadn't been out to dinner. Maybe I'll give it another shot because I feel like I visited a Taco Bell that serves alcohol.

Food was scrumptious as always. Service wasn't there. Food was served almost 30 minutes after ordering and only half of it. Had to go and ask where the chips and Guac was after another 30 minutes. I understand it's the holidays, but the store wasn't even that full or busy. When approached about the food, staff were pleasant and made every effort to bring it asap, point is we shouldn't have had to ask in the first place. To wait 45 minutes for chips and guac is unacceptable.

Let’s just say the food is good but service is questionable. To ask for a tip but can’t even get our drinks is a bit much. I had to go ask for my margaritas after waiting for it after the food came out, which is not an issue but just a bit weird and not usual. Food wise the food is really good definitely recommend getting it Togo more then dinning in. This is not the type of restaurant to dine in…. In my opinion. As a whole service is blah and not caring and food is good but can’t really say I recommend but go at your own risk. Food is good though so it’s worth the blah in my opinion.

I usually like Torchy’s. BUT today was absolutely NOT one of those days! I ordered 2 pork tacos. My tortillas were cold. As if they had them sitting on the counter & they just grabbed it to put the pork on it. On top of that…the pork was itself was not even room temp warm. Sigh How do you even begin to serve food like that!?!

My wife took our daughter to eat here yesterday. We normally have a good experience but yesterday was awful. They got there and ordered food. Everything was ok… my wife then went back to order chips and queso and waited in line for a bit. When it was her time to order the cashier, in a very rude manner by the way, told her to go to the next register to get helped. Same cashier then proceeded to waive over a group of 6 people to order from her register. The other cashier didn’t take my wife’s order either and just ignored her. It was pretty disrespectful… needless to say, she didn’t place the order at all. We go to this location at least twice a month… what a shame that a few employees can ruin an experience for their loyal customers.

The food here was okay. I kept hearing people rave about this place, so we had to try it out. I wasn't super impressed. I would say that it's like a Taco Bell on steroids. Nothing that I tried tasted authentic. None of the sauces "wowed" me. My wife told them she had an onion allergy, and apparently that took two managers, who contradicted each other at one point and made our food take that much longer, to figure out how to approach the allergy. The food took a relatively long time for a casual restaurant, to get to us. I dunno, for as much as people hyped this place up, it was just okay for me. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Really disappointed with my order. The wrap was poorly assembled, falling apart, and leaking all over the foil. The filling was messy and uneven, with cheese and sauce spilled everywhere instead of inside the wrap. It looked rushed and unappetizing, like no care was put into preparing it. For the price paid, I expected much better quality and presentation. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

This location is still around due to the amount of traffic, location and brand food is decent. Came in an hour after they opened today. Floors are dirty, instead of leaveling tables dirty napkens under, booths. Not greeted when your called up finally. One person took a call while one was trying get logged in (understandable). But he then still has issues and she tells him o your on that one. Now that shes off the phone and still near regester she was on you would think she would great and call up to take the order nope instead just walks around the bar then starts talking to an employee. The employee finally is able rush to get signed in and calls me up and takes my order. Your prompted to tip on a walk up to counter place. I may seam like an A for bringing it up but i gave a very straightforward order of bacon, egg and bean. Instead of asking if i want no cheese they ask if thats it. Don't ask for here or togo and shame on me for not bringing it up. I will say Torchy's is an expensive version of taco cabana with a better alcohol selection. There plexy glass case is broken and dirty.

I love Torchy's as a general rule. But the location in Cinco Ranch/Katy TX stands out in my mind for it's extremely poor customer service. And I have been to just about every Torchy's location. Last visit was this particular one on September 28, a Saturday. There were several times I was going to walk out and go somewhere else while I was placing my order......the person who was taking me and my children's order was literally staring out of the window over my shoulder while I was talking. I don't have the space to cover everything but later I asked the wait person to please bring some fresh tortillas and she never came back.......the kitchen door swung open and I saw her with a mouth full of food standing over an order for another customer. Absolutely terrible service. Management wake up.

While the food was just fine the bar tender was extremely rude, snapped at guests and made snide comments obviously about other patrons for people around her to hear. She was more focused one one group of people who must be regulars and ignored other guests at the bar. We frequent your location about 2 times a month and always sit at the bar. There wasn't a space when we arrived so decided to order thru the main line. After we ordered, including alcoholic beverages, 2 seats became available at the bar. We went to sit down and was told by the bartender we could only sit there if we order food from her. We planned on ordering more drinks. The bartender continued on about a waitlist for the bar... something I've never heard of. Then said to the person next to us "thank you for ordering your food from me." She even had the tab transfered to her with our food purchase anyways so I'm not sure what the problem was. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time. She didn't offer us any more drinks (when she offered to everyone around us) and we had to clean up after ourselves by taking our dishes to the trash can.

I got two Democrat tacos today, one was pretty good but the other one was vile. The meat was hard as a rock inside and out. The rest of the taco was okay, the avocado slice was brown but not that big of a deal. I never gag from food and I literally almost threw up after taking a bite of the second taco. I kept trying to eat it assuming maybe one piece of meat was bad but no. Never again Torchy’s you guys charge too much for that.

Called in on phone for a pick up .. the order took too long to place and the voice kept asking if i wanted to add more ..and more.. that was the last time i ordered from Torchies..

I’m so disappointed in a company that has, for years, rocked it! They were out of lettuce for the salad, but didn’t mention it at the time ordering. The tacos were terrible. I ordered the Democrat and Crossroads. My go-to for Torchys. Both came cold, on the wrong tortilla, and really dry. I usually want more. This time, I want no more. The water tasted like iodine. Velvet Taco from here on out. What the hell happened to you?

Meat quality is poor. It almost hard to chew. Churros was good

The veg tacos are expensive but there is very little food. It wasn’t like this a month ago, cost cutting or whatever this isn’t a very good price model for regulars. I will be careful to visit next time at this location

I came in to get a to go frozen margarita while waiting 10 min for something so simple the customer service was horrible…no one apologized for the wait and they didn’t get the order right. They weren’t even busy!! I’m never going back

First time visit and didn’t go well. You order at counter where cashier is. The menu board is way, way above your head and can barely read it. I ordered fajita tacos and husband ordered shrimp tacos. They give you a vibrate disk for your table so they know where to bring your food when ready. They give you drink cups to self serve. Problem is the drinks are ones you have never heard of. Asked which one tasted most like Dr. Pepper and went with that one. It was very sweet and flat, no fizz at all. Next after 20 minutes our food comes out. My fajita ones are so wet with extra ingredients it has soaked through the wet flour tortilla. When I piece it back together to take a bite the meat is so fatty that you can’t even bite through it. Every single piece of meat was very bad and nothing but grisly fat. Extremely disappointed as it was my whole meal. Husband ate and liked shrimp tacos but later that evening stomach became queasy and nauseous. A guy came by our table to pick up the baskets food served in. He asked how it was. We told him bad and fatty fajitas. All he said was, “ok I will tell them in the back”. We never saw him go tell anyone anything. A little expensive we thought for what you got. Not good experience at all. So disappointed.

Worst place ever, they bring the tacos cold the first time, they apologize and because they are so rude they bring it next time mild. The meat is chewable, a dog won't eat that food. Dont go in there , trashy place run by kids. Am surprised how many people I see eating there by day!!!!

Being from Austin, I love torchy‘s and was so excited to try this one and Houston. Went for breakfast and it was absolutely horrible. The eggs weren’t scrambled they were folded, the cheese was cold and didn’t look very good. Compared to what you get in Austin it’s really bad.

I have been to multiple Torchy’s franchise locations including the original one in Austin. Food quality, preparation, ingredients and sauces are definitely not what it used to be and should be expected. Torchy has decided quantity over any quality. However this one takes the Torch in being a poor franchise outlet. Hair on the inner surface of queso bowl! That is uncalled for and totally unhealthy. Noticed , hair net in food prep is not enforced . Order was not taken correctly, and Ricky’s excuse,”sorry we are very busy” After a substantial wait, to go bag was ready. With an unpleasant surprise of hair in queso.

Food was ice cold! Got here at 9:15 pm ordered food to go. It came out pretty fast which was surprising. Now I see why it did all of our tacos and queso were ice cold.

On Saturday, March 1, my wife and I decided to have some drinks at Torchy's Bar around 8 p.m. It was a quiet evening with only the two of us at the bar. We ordered a beer for myself, a margarita for my wife, and some chips and guacamole to snack on. After a little while, I ordered another beer. Around 8:40 p.m., we asked for the check, and the amount came to $30.03. I handed over my credit card, but when the bartender returned it, the total on the bill had jumped to $51.85. I immediately pointed out the discrepancy and asked the bartender to explain the difference. He simply insisted that it was a mistake on the bill, but I found it hard to believe, given that there were only two of us and the bar wasn’t busy. I asked to speak with the manager to resolve the issue privately, but he didn’t offer much assistance. He apologized briefly, handed me his business card, and gave us a chip coupon. I felt like he was unprepared to handle such a situation and didn’t genuinely care about making things right. In an attempt to resolve this, I called corporate three times, left messages, and never received a return call. This lack of response only added to my frustration. This experience left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of. What should have been a simple and pleasant evening turned into an incredibly frustrating ordeal. I would go as far as to call it a robbery, as the unexplained overcharge felt intentional. I will not be returning to Torchy’s, and I would caution others about potential billing issues and poor customer service.

Staff was very unapproachable when we tried to order. Felt as though we were being rushed because sure enough one of our entrees came out incorrectly. Got up to get it fixed it then came out and was cold and had no sauce on it. Too frustrated to get it fixed when the staff member that dropped it off seemed irritated. Love torchys but this location and experience was not worth it.
