Best Korean fried chicken I have had. Qe hot the original whole chicken, waffle fries, and cheese sticks. The chicken is super juicy and super crunchy. The sweet and spicy sauce is so good!!!

The food was awesome, customer service was spot on, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The cashier guy, Tre, was super awesome. He made me feel welcome as I waited for my meal.

Chicken tasted fresh, sauce was done right, it was crispy and not greasy. Just had to wait 30+ min (we ordered before closing on Fri night so maybe that’s why). I would highly recommend for take out. Customer service was superb. Will return to try more.

My family has gotten to go here a few times. Service is great, very nice people and food has been great. Personally I recommend the chicken sandwich but my kids swear by the strips. You got to try this and support this local business. They don’t make anything until it’s ordered so it’s fresh and hot but can take a little while to get your order. It’s worth it.

They don’t start it until you order so there is a wait but it is well worth it! My new go to place for fried chicken! The original and “spicy crispy” are my favorites. Price and taste is right. Definitely try the sauces too.

I love this place! Their garlic wings are the most delicious wings you can get anywhere. We opted for Kokio wings for the super bowl this year after spending over an hour waiting for wings at Wingstop during last year’s super bowl. I placed my order over the phone, and it was quiet and easy. They call you when your food is ready. I walked right in and grabbed my food, in and out in less than 2 minutes. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. Couldn’t ask for a better chicken stop! Absolutely worth every penny!

Guys we chose to come here on a whim after some grocery shopping at HEB. This is truly the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. It’s not greasy, it’s crispy, and the chicken is incredibly moist. The fries were also the perfect amount of crisp. Portion sizes on point as well. This is our new favourite spot for fried chicken. We will be ordering our DoorDash from here from now on.

If someone were to ask me what my favorite restaurant was, I'd say Kokios. First of all the sauce is to die for. Genuinely I would buy the house sauce by the pound. The fries are so obviously perfection, better than Chick-fil-a, my personal fav is the waffle fries but the regular is just as good. About the chicken, this place has the BEST Korean fried chicken i have EVER tasted. Furthermore, for the quantity of food, id say the price is normal especially considering the quality of the chicken and every other menu item is sensational. The staff here is phenomenal and the environment is so kind and genuine. The sweet staff really makes this place special. With Uber-eats, door-dash, delivery, pickup, AND dine-in, this place really caters to all, 10/10 I would recommend this to anyone.

Honey rice cake tastes similar to honey bee without the spice, and makes the perfect appetizer. The rice cakes were soft and chewy, and topped off well with the boneless chicken. Incredible fried chicken. If you are hungry, call ahead as the orders are 100% fresh and take a while. No dinner plates as the otders come out boxed, use plastic forks and a minimal allowance of napkins. That's the only drawbacks. Seriously, it's great fried chicken.

Long wait for our food. Was told 15 min, but waited 40 min. Ordered food to go. Came in an opened box. The box can close, its just that the box was too small compared to the amount of food it held.

If you r expecting Korean style sweet and spicy, this is not the right place. Their sweet and spicy tastes like spicy barbecue flavor. And, also plate menu includes coleslaw, not a salad. Not sure if you can call this Korean chicken. Ordered sweet and spicy but tasted like burnt BBQ. The honey bee was really good and probably my favorite. 2nd best was the garlic chicken. The drumsticks were huge - wasn’t expecting that. I didn’t care for the onion rings - had to much batter.

It was interesting but not to my taste. I got a box with three drumsticks, French fries, and coleslaw. The drumsticks were incredibly huge. The coleslaw was in a tiny cup that gave two small bites. The takeout box was strange. You couldn't close it so as a result, by the time I got home the French fries were stone cold. There was far too much sauce on the drumsticks so that it was impossible to eat them without making a mess and the sauce was way too overpowering. I think that I will just go to Popeyes next time I get a hankering for fried chicken.

Seriously the best fried chicken ever, provided you have 45 minutes to wait for it. Honestly, I almost just left to go get a burger after 45 minutes of waiting. Once you get it, however, the chicken is spicy, crispy, tender. I just wish I lived closer.

This place used to be amazing, food wise, service wise, and timeliness wise. After changing to new management, their food is still solid, but it always takes forever. Today I called at 530pm to have my food ready by 720pm. When I got there at 720, they told me it was going to take another 10 minutes for the other portion of the food. Aka, the portion that is already done is sitting there getting cold (sandwiches and fries were lukewarm already). I finally got my food at 735pm, so I wish they would’ve made the food at the same time, by 720 as I requested. The people working there are very nice, and as I stated the food is still solid. But the kitchen needs major training and be timely due to the nature of fried chicken.

Ordered takeout, went to pick up after 30 minutes still had to wait an hour and a half for the food.

Highly disappointed. I made an online order and when I came to pick it up, they told me they haven't even started making the food. Mind you the wait time to pick up was 20 minutes, so I had to wait another half an hour just for them to finish making the food . They also said that they could not make one of the items I ordered. So disappointed. I waited an hour just to receive half of my order and the food wasn't even worth the wait .

Simple, Spent $50 and never got my food. I’m willing to bet another $50 that this place will be closed in 6months. They just don’t get it

I came in for my first time to the place to try their food. The menu and pictures online make the food look good. I ordered 10 pcs, waffle fries, a combo wings plate, and a rice cake. All to go. I was told my order was large, so it would take some minutes for approximately 35 minutes. I thought it was fair time to give my order. However, I waited over 1 hour and a half. As I was waiting, the guest that came in after me got their food. They ordered multiple stuff, and it was coming out in a decent time. However, I kept being told my food was almost done, a few more mins, and coming out now....as I still waited. I wasn't the only one. Another person was waiting on their food and got irritated and asked about his food too. Again, we both waited (not sure how long he has been waiting, but he had an order before me). I was ready to leave and probably would have if I didn't spend as much money I did for the food. Some of the food was done, but not all. as the staff had to go back and forth trying to figure out what was supposed to go into what. Luckily, the guy before got his food. As I still waited for almost 2 hours. I asked for a refund after still not having my food ready. When I was told a refund couldn't be given because the food was done. I was told by staff that they were updating me. However, I was only being told "a few more mins," "it's coming," etc. I told them they had people come in after me get food, and I was told they ordered online. However, I watched them order from the menu asking questions about food. They even addressed me telling me, "Im sorry I feel bad for you, especially because we came after you." All I heard was excuses and no reasonable answer as to why my food took almost 2 hrs . I was offered a discount if I came back and had a better experience. I was told that it normally doesn't take as long as it did. I was finally given my food and left. At this point, I don't even want to eat the food. I will not be coming back. Take my experience as a cautionary tale not to go at all or prepare that if you order to go, you will have an extremely long wait. Update: I got home and realized the food is cold. The food was not even hot enough to say warm for the short ride home. The food is fine, not bad, not amazing. It's not worth the wait, that's for sure.

I don't complain much, but this is a PSA (public service announcement) This place needs serious help with customer service and cooking. Came in Sat evening to eat KFC with my family. Had ate here a year or 2 ago and was good. Cashier was on phone taking an order I guess the caller was asking a lot of questions, no problem. He finish ran to kitchen to give order, came back and phone rang again and took the call while I was waiting with another customers. Logic would tell you put the caller on hold and attend to the people in front of you. After 5 min I should have taken that as a sign to walk out. Finally placed order for 10 sweet and spicy wings, 5 garlic drum sticks and 1 basket of fries. It took nearly 1 hour for food to come out. Cashier apologized. When the food came out the order for the 10 sweet and spicy wings were not sauced, while taking them back he dropped all of them and the fries on the floor. He later bought out the 5 garlic drum sticks in a container with no additional dish, napkins or utensils. While eating the drum stick I noticed a pool or red juices on the bottom of the tray and told a lady working there. She brought it back to the kitchen and the cook later came out to ask me what was wrong. By this time he had poured out the red juices because when he showed me the basket it was dry. He began to explain the juices from the bone may run red but he cooked for 20 min and completely safe, I told him I cook also and the juices should run clear not red. He said he didnt see any red juices in the basket, but I then noticed a drop of red juice on the table and told him what was that, he lied and said I dont know. Own up to your mistake, and don't lie. Check your food if you order here, they will probably make it wrong or undercook your food.

So disappointing, ordered 10 drumsticks hot and crispy via DoorDash and received original instead.

Horrible service. Placed an order for carry-out and arrived on-time. They forgot to print the order and give to kitchen. Excuse was very busy though there were only two customers dining at that time. Already paid $70 with tips for carry-out! They offered no adjustment for bad service!! We love Korea BBQ and drive 20minutes to Mason road. Thought this is closer to our house and convenient but to no avail.

We ordered to go and were told pickup would be 6:30. They've never been ready when they said so we got there at 6:40. Girl working counter told us to take a seat. At 7:05 we asked where the food was and were told it would be another 15 minutes. Girl was just sitting there looking at phone and never updated us. When we asked why it was taking longer she said "systems malfunction". We got Food at 7:38 - $120 order. If we hadn't paid when ordering we would have left earlier. No one ever tried to update us or seemed to care how bad the service was. Never again

My 13 year old daughter went here with friends on Saturday and they all paid cash. When it was my daughter's turn to pay for her food, she gave them a $20 and the cashier told her he didn't have any change, so he just kept her $20. Being so young and not having any adults there with them, she didn't realize that this completely wrong and not the way a business should run! If you are out of change, you either send an employee to the bank, or you say you can't serve the customer. You don't just keep people's money!

I had a very bad experience here. I came to pick up an order for doorDash which I was told would take 11 minutes to fill. It ended up taking 35 minutes, and during this time the lady was filling other orders that came in after me and handing them their food. when I asked her why it was taking so long, She very rudely told me, “it’s dinner time”! And because of this, the man I was delivering for took away my tip, and I got a bad review at DoorDash for something that was not my fault. And during this time I could’ve been doing other orders. it wasted so much time. I will never go back here again.

Great chicken but they need to train their cashier or hire someone more personable/responsible. Teen sat there looking at her phone the whole time and we waited 1 hr instead of 20 min to pick up our order. We waited quiety for 45 min & finally asjed. Cashier asked the kitchen and there was yelling in the kitchen. and told us 20 min. Do they start cooking when pickup ppl arrive? Rudiculous. Owner should stay on site instead of leaving it to a part timer if they want to keep the business.

First off, I wanna mention that I don’t take the time to write these reviews but I want to highlight how low the service sank to spare anyone considering this place. We ended up giving up waiting for our food to come out since we were situated for over 30 minutes with a bare bones interior with little to no check ups from the cashier (who was helpless). Not worth our time, not worth yours either.

i think they changed recipe. They used to be the best fried chicken in the area. This evening I order delivery of 20 pics half original and half crispy spicy . But they come in all crispy spicy and did not taste good like it used to

I ordered 10 drumsticks, 5 garlic and 5 sweet and spicy and I could not eat them gad to put them in the trash. First, the drumsticks are GIGANTIC!!!! Abnormally GIGANTIC, there is no way these are not genetically modified. Now let’s talk about flavor and seasoning!!!!! PURE SALT!!!! WHY???? There are two things I cannot forgive people for not utilizing in America; toothpaste and seasoning because they are dirt cheap. TOO MUCH SALT!!!! You are going to kill people. If I had gotten 10 small flavored drumsticks I would have been satisfied. They probably don’t eat what they are serving but put some passion in your business, be proud of what you’re putting out. It’s not all about profit.

Truly terrible, ordered meals for three people and a cost about $50. First the waffle fries, These were truly disasters, they were hard even feel like potatoes. secondly the drumstick, the portion size are huge, like concerningly large amounts of chicken. did the teriyaki bowl, which looked sad and tasted even sadder. Lastly the wings, i ordered it half extra spicy and half sweet and spicy. The sweet and spicy just tasted like honey. and the extra spicy was really not that spicy at all. I was really hoping it would actually be spicy because ive been looking for spicy chicken for ages but it was really really bad. They also took forver to get the food out. all in all a bad experience, never again.

I entered this place to see an acute finagle lookin ah guy. It took 10 light years to get the food just for it to taste like the chicken itself cooked it. Don’t buy.

Probably I would give them a zero if I could. I never seen such a bad customer service in My life. Besides they are the ifs, if you order a whole chicken they give you one breast and cut it into 2 pieces and 2 legs and bones and one or 2 wings. But I would need my refund and a big apologies for your rude and lack of human nature employee. I said thank you when leaving, he said I don't care. I didn't eat the food because I was afraid He did something disgusting to it.

Ordered here for the first time in awhile and it was not a good experience. Had to wait even longer for the food to be ready than the expected time. When I got home to eat I took one bite and the sandwich was absolutely gross. Not how it used to be before they changed owners. Not the same quality, definitely cutting corners when it comes to ingredients. Called to see if we could get a refund and the manager was very rude about the situation. Never again going back unless by some miracle the original owners come back. Place won’t last much longer by the way they do their food and their attitude.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The worker initially told us it would take 15-20 minutes for our food to be ready, but we ended up waiting for AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES. During this time, we noticed that several people who arrived after us received their orders before we did which was so annoying. The worker kept reassuring us that our order would be ready in just 5 more minutes, but this happened repeatedly, and another 30 minutes passed with no food in sight. When our food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. Not only was it overpriced, but the taste did not justify the high cost. The portions were also very small, leaving us still hungry after the meal. While the worker was polite, the overall service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place unless you are prepared for an exceptionally long wait and mediocre food that is not worth the price. Would rate this place nothing if I could. Save yourself money and your time by not coming here.
