What a great restaurant that offer unique vietnamese dish, very traditional but yet with a twist of modern flavors. The owner shared his story and you can really feel the love he has for the food on his dishes. I recommend banh xeo and banh khot for sure but everything else was great. My wife fell in love with this food and we will be back soon. Thank you for having us

First time here with the family. The service was excellent. The foods are delicious. We ordered several dishes here. Their banh xeo was crunchy, and it's not as oily as other places.

Very authentic Banh Khot for a reasonable price. Will have to try their Banh Xeo next time! Fast service and Viet decor atmosphere. Can't wait til they open more items on their menu though as there is only 5 entree currently.

I was in Houston for work and saw this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try and it was amazing. This was my first time having banh xeo and it blew me away. The combination of flavors and textures was incredible. If I lived in Houston/Katy this would be a go to dinner option for sure. 10/10 recommend checking them out.

Food was great and service was great as well. Banh khot was very tasty and crunchy. Definitely coming back. Menu is small but all the dishes were great quality.

Place is beautifully designed! Bringing the taste of Vietnam to Katy! Tried the Banh Khot with shrimp and Mi Cay Dai Han, both are delicious and full of flavors, the Korean noodle soup is filled with ingredients like eggs, shrimp, fish ball, various meat and vegetables! For all the spicy lover, it's a must try. Staff are polite, friendly and patient, will definitely come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lot of improvement since soft opening. Banh xeo is very crunchy and flavorful. Banh khot was tasty as well. Vegetables was fresh. Hu tieu is good. Vietnamese coffee was strong and well balanced. Kids love the pan damn waffles. Food was so good. Killed everything. Didn’t get to take no pictures…

I recently tried this new Vietnamese restaurant and was blown away by the food! The bánh xèo was crispy and packed with flavor, while the hủ tiếu had a rich, aromatic broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Both dishes were delicious and authentic, with great service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

SO GOOD! Unfortunately, all we got to eat was the two appetizers. Reason being, we were full by the time we'd finished them (for a mere $25). The crepe in particular was phenomenal. Make sure you ask them how to eat it. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu as soon as we can.

The service is good and they serve very authentic Vietnamese food. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Katy Asian Town! If you're looking for a good price and also authentic Vietnamese food, come here! They even have banh xeo and ban khot, a very rare find that restaurants offer, even in Houston!

Staff here are very friendly to us, especially Tu and Ken, our servers. Bun Dau Mam Tom is very tasty! I love how dipping sauce is not too strong but have a nice touch of kumquat. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang is sooo gooood with many toppings. The Banh Xeo is big and crispy. Will be back!

The meat was tender one of the best I ever had in all of the Vietnamese restruant. If you ever came here I would reccomend you order the bo lúc lạc. The staff was very friendly and welcoming I reccomend you coming to this place with friends and family.

We ordered bún đậu, bánh khọt, hủ tiếu nam vang, hủ tiếu khô, bánh xèo. Everything is super tasty, and authentic too. The noodles are super fresh and hot. They have a lot of rare condiments that couldn’t be found at most places. They have homemade ice cream too!

This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were really impressed! The service was excellent — very friendly and attentive. The dishes were unique and felt like authentic Vietnamese street food, but with a cleaner and more refined presentation. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We especially loved their signature noodles — highly recommended! The fried rice was also really tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped by this new hu tieu place for lunch. The menu is very minimal just how I like it. I ordered dry hu tieu and it’s one of the best hu tieu I had. The noodles mix with sauce very well and taste perfect, they also give alot of toppings. Customer service is also top notch. We will come back to try banh xeo. Definitely would recommend this place.

Really good food! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang was loaded with toppings and super comforting, the Bánh Khọt was crispy with shrimp and so tasty and the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm came with plenty of tofu, pork, and fresh herbs. Portions are big, sauces are on point, and it all feels like a home style Vietnamese meal. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!!! Highly recommend

The best banh xeo you can get in Katy. The size of the banh xeo is massive and they make it fresh to order so you’ll always have that crunch. They don’t skimp out on the veggies either. Price are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit. @ohlalabubu

Absolutely loved this place! The service was excellent — friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The food was flavorful and authentic. The banh xeo was crispy and golden, packed with fillings and perfectly paired with fresh herbs and dipping sauce. The spicy noodle soup (mi cay) was rich and satisfying, with a delicious broth and a great variety of toppings like soft-boiled eggs, sausage, and veggies. We also tried the banh khot, which were crispy and tasty, and the fried rice, which was well-seasoned with bits of sausage and vegetables — super comforting. Great experience overall. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food!

I love yummy quan so much! It’s always a reliable place for good food, quick and friendly service. You have to try the bang xeo when you come. I have introduced this dish to so many of my American friends and they love it. Ken has been our server a few times! He’s so friendly and has great recommendations

Came here on a weekday & tried the combo…Bun mam, hu tieu, sugarcane, & thai green iced tea..delicious, fresh, and hu tieu noodles was nice and chewy perfect!. The waitress was very polite and thoughtful to let us know she also gave us an extra bowl to share our food. Will need to try their banh xeo & banh khot next time

I just had dinner at Yummy Quynh Hu Tieu Nam Vang and the Hainanese Chicken Rice was amazing! The chicken was so tender and juicy, and the rice was perfectly fragrant and flavorful. The service was also great - everyone was so friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Vietnamese meal! They're open until 9 PM, so you have plenty of time to check them out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Vietnamese food! The cha gio were crispy and flavorful, and the banh xeo and banh khot were perfectly cooked with authentic flavor. The com ga was tender and aromatic, and the cha ca was bursting with fresh herbs and turmeric. Finished with a strong, creamy Vietnamese coffee — perfection! Friendly service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Their fish sauce was incredible, and you can find it on every table - such a thoughtful gesture!! I wouldn't do the special that included the two drinks again. I had mixed feelings about the noodle soup, because I was not too into the meats in the soup noodle. However, I loved loved loved their Vietnamese crepes (finally I don't have to go downtown to get them) so much that I thought I was in heaven! Just please don't give me any of the Rau Diếp Cá/Fish Mint, but do give me more of the Tía Tô/Perilla 😅 Their combination fried rice was very good. I noticed another reviewer had a photo of the Bò Lúc Lắc?! That was not on the menu!! Looking forward to trying that dish 🙏🏻😍🙏🏻

Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered the bánh khọt, bún đậu mắm tôm, mỳ gõ, and sugarcane drinks. The bánh khọt was perfectly crispy with a lovely hint of coconut 🤌 — just how it should be. The bún đậu mắm tôm was on point! While the toppings weren’t as many, the real star — the mắm tôm sauce — was phenomenal: rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with sweetness, sourness, and that signature mắm kick. Honestly, it might be the best I’ve had — even better than some spots in Bellaire! The mỳ gõ was also very good — a touch sweeter than my usual preference, but the noodles had great texture and the sauce was perfectly mixed. Service was excellent — super friendly and attentive! The place was also very clean and well-kept, which made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, this spot just became my new go-to! 🌟

FANTASTIC Vietnamese Food & Service! Loved my meal! The Mì Wonton Xá Xíu (Dry version) was outstanding—moist pork, plump wontons, and springy noodles. The Bánh Khọt were so crispy and soft with fresh shrimp. A huge bonus: The owner was incredibly sweeter than the ice cream she gave us and welcoming! I cannot exaggerate how the whole experience was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Wow!!! We try and eat outside our palette and were blown away by the flavors here. The two appetizers are a MUST. It’s so light, crispy and fresh. They make a house made fish sauce mix with other spicy mix ins that pack a punch. The flavor is unreal and I definitely recommend! The Hu Tieu was way outside our comfort zone but was also fantastic. Yummy Quán -Hu Tiếu Nam Vang in Katy. Finally, an authentic Vietnamese gem in the Katy area! This is my third visit to this spot, and I’ve been meaning to write a review—so here it is! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a cozy, inviting atmosphere with thoughtful decor that makes you feel right at home. The service is equally warm—friendly, attentive, and genuine from start to finish. The staff greets you with smiles, and it truly feels like they care about your experience. Now let’s talk about the food. Their signature dish, Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang (dry or soup version), is absolutely packed with flavor. The broth is rich, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and it’s generously topped with meats. I tried both versions—dry and soupy—and honestly, I can’t decide which one I love more. The Bánh Khọt is another standout. Light, crispy, and airy, with a delicious mix of meats or shrimp, and topped with a scoop of coconut cream that took me right back to Vietnam. It’s rare to find it done this well outside of Vietnam. Their Bánh Xèo is just as amazing—crispy, flavorful, and served fresh. What really impressed me was the level of hospitality. If I could give their customer service a million stars, I would. The young chef (who is also very charming!) personally came out to introduce himself, shared a bit about the menu, and told us how the restaurant got started. It was such a sweet and personal touch, and we had a lovely conversation. He also introduced us to a dessert that completely blew me away: avocado and coconut ice cream. The texture was silky smooth, perfectly sweet, and just heavenly. Seriously—to die for. The Pandan waffle also good too. I’m already planning my next visit. I heard they’re introducing new dishes on the weekends, and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in Katy, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Truly the gem in Katy!! Their banh xeo & banh khot would be one of the best in Houston. The provided minced garlic & chili was definitely the hit to complete the fish sauce. The herbs were fresh and varied. The $5 pandan waffle was small & very average (not even crunchy). I would not recommend this dish.

We are from out of town. My husband and I always look for Vietnamese restaurants wherever we stay trying to capture the taste that we grew up on. We ordered Vietnamese crepe (bánh xèo), bánh khọt (not sure what its english name is), and Phnom Penh clear pork broth noodle soup (hủ tiếu nam vang). They were all very good authentic Vietnamese dishes. The crepe was crispy, not oily (most other places put a lot of oil to the crepe while frying so it normally is very oily); the fillings consisted of large pieces of shrimp, pork belly slices, bean sprouts and shallots which were cooked just right. Bánh khọt was also very good; tasted just like what my mom used to make. The fish sauce was a bit on the sweet side likes hiw i make it at home; we added a squeeze of lime and it was perfect. They gave you freshly chopped garlic and red chili to add to the sauce yourself; very classy. The crepe and bánh khọt came with abundance of lettuce and herbs plus pickled radishes and carrot. The pork noodle soup was delicious; it came with all the add-on that I expected; more important for me that the noodle was not clumping. The ice tea has a subtle pandan flavor 😋 which we love. Overall, they were all very good, and we will definitely return next time we come to Houston.

This spot is amazing! As a Cali Boy, this place exceeds expectations! The Banh Xeo and Banh Kot is the best I ever tasted. What makes a good Banh Xeo, is the crispy edges and plenty of protein and of course the sweet garlicky fish sauce. Came here on a Tuesday with a party of 15 and they were so accommodating. Our server, Vy and Thu were the best. They definitely went above and beyond to service our big party! Highly recommend for authentic Vietnamese food in Katy Asia Town.

Yummy Quan - Hu Tieu Nam Vang is the best hu tieu noodle soup I've ever had. The broth is very savory, and it's topped with an assortment of proteins, including shrimp, pork slices, and a quail egg. It's garnished with fried shallots and pork skins, which really enhance the wonderful flavors. It also comes with a side of vegetables to add to the soup. We also had the Banh Khot (mini rice cake) as an appetizer, served with a large portion of lettuce and Vietnamese herbs for making wraps. This appetizer was a total surprise in how delicious and unique in flavor it was. It's definitely a must-try for those who haven't had it. The service was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Tried the bun dau mam tom and hu tieu — both dishes were flavorful and hit the spot. Bun dau had that classic balance of crispy tofu, fresh herbs, and savory fermented shrimp paste, while the hủ tiếu was comforting with a clean, rich broth and tender noodles. Service was also great — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a solid spot for Vietnamese comfort food. We’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Cozy place for non-fussy dining. The sugarcane is fresh and the cà phê sủa đá is good. I came here for the bánh xèo but also tried the mì gỏ, hủ tiếu and mì đại hàn which were pretty good. Staff is really nice. They have a combo for 35 ( 1 dish, 1 noodle, and 2 drinks). Chairs are comfy.

I was incredibly surprised on how much I liked the food and drinks we got here. Especially for Katy Asian Town, most of the time food isn’t as authentic but this was quite nice. Met up a friend for lunch and got their special from Mon-Fri. Think it was $38 for 1 appetizer 1 noodle and 2 drinks. Pretty good deal especially with how big the portions are. The bánh xèo was really nice and crispy. Just wish the filling was seasoned a bit more but their fish sauce was good. And the lettuce portion to that big bánh xèo was way off! We had to ask for more and that was an extra charge. My friend ended up taking the hu tiêu kho to go since it was just too much food for the both of us. I got the sugarcane drink and he got the cafe sữa da. Both great. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Food did take some time for it to come out so be patient.

I came here for the Banh Xeo. I’ve only had this mid town so I wanted to try it somewhere else. This Vietnamese crepe takes about 20min to make so I’d order this as soon as I sat down. When it showed up it was larger than I expected and filled with lots of goodies. The sweet fish sauce is in a bottle that’s already on the table. This is great since you can use as much as you want and it is required for this dish. You have to cut/tear this into pieces that wrap with lettuce leafs. It’s delicious and serve as a meal if you eat it alone. I recommend sharing so that you can try other dishes. The other herbs I didn’t use. One of them had such a strong odor that I found off putting. This is my favorite Banh Xeo so far. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang noodle soup had a strong flavorful delicious broth. My wife thought it was a little fishy but I didn’t find that to be the case. There are organ meats in it so beware if you’re not into that. The Wonton noodle couple had a very delicious broth as well. Windows were soft thin wrappers that I like. Overall very good to eat with the sweet pickled jalapenos. I also ordered the Bun Dau Mam Tom which is served with a sweet fermented shrimp paste. The paste was okay but preferred dipping with the fish sauce instead. There are much more organic meats here including pig intestines. Overall I appreciated the uniqueness of this dish but at the end of the day it’s not for me. This dish is not for the faint of heart. This restaurant serves traditional Vietnamese street food and they definitely appeal to those who misses their home food. I’d come back again and try other things including my favorites.

A great hủ tiếu spot in Katy! While they don’t have a vegetarian option on the menu, they were super flexible and happily made a vegetarian fried rice on request 👍.

How lazy can you be? Sister in law ordered to go and it came uncut or not separated. It tasted good but too bad no one else got to eat it because I thought it was an omelette.

$17 for this Hu tieu. It's barely half of what phan ky serves for the same price lol. Do not recommend.

I was quite disappointed with the food and overall experience. The Korean spicy noodles (Mì cay Đại Hàn) were poorly exễcuted; they included a boiled egg typically used in Japanese ramen, Spam, and old kimchi. The noodles themselves were not the proper type for Korean spicy noodles, which really affected the authenticity and taste. The other dishes we tried, such as the pork offal porridge and hủ tiếu, were bland and lacked any distinctive flavor or highlight. Additionally, the restaurant’s Google listing states that it opens at 10:30 AM, but when we arrived, we were told to wait until 11:00 AM for them to open, which was inconvenient.
