YOU GOTTA STOP HERE FOR THE BEST BREAKFAST IN THE TEHACHAPI!!! TREAT YOUR HUNGER WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK. GREAT SERVICE ALSO!!!

Great stop right off the thruway. They have a large gravel parking lot that can accommodate campers & bike groups. Also easily accessible bathrooms & outdoor seating under shade trees. The chicken quesadilla was delicious!

Don't pass it up. Give it a try!

Let's just say this food is tasty and delicious!! Denver omelette, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy were deliciouso!! Try this little hidden gem out!!

I really like the beautiful location with traditional American fare in an historic diner. The service is friendly and most pleasant. Maybe the portions/price is slightly high but the cooking is very tasty.

This is a regular stop for my wife and I. She loves the lunches and I love the breakfasts. The chili verde pork is amazing as breakfast or lunch. I haven’t had anything from the menu that I wouldn’t order again.

Friendly service, excellent food!!! A must go to if you like that old-fashioned classic nostalgic atmosphere! That's what brings me back here all the time! With mini-store that sells ceramic coffee mugs and t-shirts with their name on them. Oh and postcards too!

Dog friendly you have the choice to sit outside with your dog or inside as long your dog is friendly and won't bark to much outside has a little fenced area but doesn't have a gate so I recommend keeping your dog on leash otherwise the food was great and plenty of shade outside

Another winner! Got the carne asada and eggs with a side of grilled jalapenos. Salsas, potatoes, pico...everything is so good! There was a large group of motorcyclists when I got there and one waitress running her butt off, but it was worth the wait.

I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a very clean restaurant. I ordered the mushroom cheeseburger and it was outstanding. They also used fresh mushrooms, way to go management! The couple sitting next to me were eating breakfast, I overheard them saying how good the Huevos rancheros breakfast is. I’ll come by again to try that. The other picture is of the chili Verde omelette I had a few days later.

It's been around since the 20s they are family owned and operated. Their food is fresh homemade and delicious. Thank the lord this place is here. It's a stop off the highway and out of time.

Fast food diner near Tehachapi loop with indoor and outdoor service. Can get crowded when the tourists pile up. They also had ice cream and cake for dessert.

We got the coffee cake, country, fried steak and eggs, country potatoes and biscuit and gravy. Everything was just okay, the country fried steak is purchased, not hand assembled, also their corned beef hashes in a can so I didn't want that. The biscuit and gravy were both Fair, nothing exciting there to be seen. My coffee was pretty good. My partner's hot tea she said wasn't the best but we usually bring our own tea bags because that's common. The employees are extremely nice and they do have pies, although I forgot to ask if they're homemade. One breakfast with two extra eggs, the coffee cake, and two hot drinks came out $40

We saw a senior dog wandering the parking lot and were concerned she had been dumped (we heard it was a known dumping ground for unwanted dogs) so it kind of tainted our experience there. We ordered the jalapeño burger and were impressed with the size and spicy flavor. Cute nostalgic place that could probably be enhanced more but it was a good meal. Only one waitress there so she was spread a little thin. (There was no napkins at the table but we went up and got our own). Another nice customer was concerned about the wandering dog and paid the waitress to give the dog some food which they obliged and gave her some eggs, sausage, and water. We didn’t feel right about just leaving the dog there so we took her to get groomed and post to social media. We found the owner and apparently the dog is a senior dog who was almost 13 and wandered from her home. Happy ending and hopefully she won’t get out again.

Food is hit it miss, been eating here for year. Underwent ownership or management changes, not for the better. A month a go I stopped everything was very good, however stopped there today for lunch, Burger was small, tomatoes were green with a hard core, fries were good , but my wife's Burger was served 20 minutes behind money. Won't be stopping there again. Go on up to tehschapi or down to Bakersfield it's worth the weight.

The food was ok service was good only problem was there were more flies in the Restaurant the people it was horrible

Have been coming here every so often over the years. What happened to the portion sizes? I got a pastrami sandwich this time, literally two slices of meat on it barely thicker than the pickle. The fries were fine, this was an 18$ meal. I didn’t have time to send it back, it was at best a 4$ sandwich, and even then I’d be disappointed. They also charged for tap water, not sure what’s going on with that but maybe they need to tell people so we can bring our own water and save 3.75. This is a cool old diner that I used to like going to, not worth it anymore with current prices and laughably small sandwiches.

This place is rough. Wait staff wasn’t very welcoming. Floors and tables very dirty, didn’t sweep where we sat. Felt very unsanitary. The food was terrible. Nothing has any seasonings or flavor. French dip was flavorless. Beef burrito was flavorless mush. Country Fried Steak was flavorless with cold gravy. Gravy was cold on the biscuits, which were still very dry and stale. Hamburger tasted like it came from a school cafeteria. Prices are pretty rough for what you get. $120 to feed 4 adults and 2 kids. Definitely not a place we’ll be going back to.

Blatantly Price gouging. Combos didn’t even come with a drink. Menu prices haven’t been updated online. Gas station food probably would’ve tasted better or as good. Not sure how anyone can justify the price.
