After what seem to be a very bad valentines day in a different place. Juan Carlos (our server) and the manager were more than accommodating with a table in valentines day. The food was amazing, we had the tacu tacu a lo macho, lomito saltado and a nice bottle of malbec. Suspiro limeño for desert. We can only be greatfull that juan carlos and the staff of El gran Inca saved our Valentines day. Thanks alo t guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 definitely bringing my friends and my company here in the future
One of my favorite restaurants in Key Biscayne. The food is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Roberto took wonderful care of us: attentive, kind, and professional. A place we return to again and again.
Our server Carla was more than great! She was very attentive and the guy that make our pisco sours 10 out of 5 Totally recommend this place to everyone
As a Peruvian myself, I can confidently say the food at Gran Inka is absolutely amazing. The flavors truly taste like home, and it was the very first place I went to eat after landing from LA. The food alone deserves five stars, it’s so authentic and SO yummy. I would hate for anyone to miss out on such great Peruvian food. That said, I do want to share some gentle and honest feedback regarding the service. Our server, Carla, unfortunately made us feel like we were more of a bother than welcomed guests. She didn’t check on us and came across as unprofessional and a bit rude, which took away from what was otherwise a wonderful dining experience. I fully understand that everyone has bad days, I used to be a server myself, so I truly empathize. However, this experience didn’t seem like a one-off, as my friend (a local) shared that she had a similar experience with the same server during a previous visit. I’m sharing this not to get anyone in trouble, that is the last thing I want, but sharing simply in hopes that it brings awareness. A little warmth and kindness go a long way, especially in a restaurant that has such incredible food and culture behind it. I genuinely love Peruvian cuisine and want this restaurant to continue thriving. I hope future visits reflect the same excellence in service as the food itself, because this place deserves to shine.
Every single plate was on POINT!!! Fantastic food, very flavorful and delicious!!!! ............................................................................. Would definitely recomend this to anyone that is willing to try out these awsome dishes! ....
We had dinner in this nice restaurant two times during our spring 2016 vacation in Florida, on advice from a friend of us, who owns an apartment in Key Biscayne. The first time we ate lomo saltado and Ceviche Ahumado Rocoto, the following week a Picana and Pulpo a la parrilla. We enjoied all our dishes, both meat and pescado. We appreciated also the red wines, by the way, on Mondays and Tuesdays some wine bottles are half price! Dulcis in fundo, the desserts: for the first time we ate desserts at the level we are used in Italy. The waiters were professional and also recognized us, at a week apart from our first dinner.
Simply the best peruvian food I have tried in Miami so far. Waitress recommended the fried ceviche and it was perfect. The sauce was on point. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try peruvian food in Key Biscayne.
Excellent! I fell in love with the fried yuca with cheese and huancaina sauce, and the ceviche sushi was amazing! The service was very, very good! And the place is nice! Eating out feels great, especially since they're showing soccer games! At least now that the World Cup is on!
Delicious wow
Excellent Peruvian food!! Very good seasoning
Great place!! I really enjoyed the chaufa rice and the seafood taku taku.
The food was good, I ordered a Chupe de Camarones, and it was good, smaller bowl than I usually get in other places, but it was ok. Small cozy restaurant in Key Biscayne. They have the most comfortable chair I've seen so far. The service was good too. Id go back again if I happen to be in the area.
This joint is the JAM! Had dinner there with two friends on a business trip, and everything we had was top notch! We had ceviche, surf and turf, lamb shank, and Arroz con Pollo. I almost gave it four stars because it is in a strip mall (eating outdoors at night means the frequent blinding shine of headlights - parking three feet from the edge of some of the tables), but then realized EVERY restaurant on KB is in a strip mall and the food is definitely worthy of five!!
Excelent restaurant with peruvian food!
I celebrated my birthday here it was great fun and very very friendly people
Yesterday I was at the Gran Inka Key Biscayne, I recommend this place 100%. Excellent service, very good food, and many thanks to Mr. Vladimir for his service, a true professional, thank you.
Good: Ceviches and tacos are amaizing. Real Peruvian flavor
Great restaurant! Staff is very nice, food was amazing. My husband had aji de gallina I had lomo salteado. Would definitely come back.
Best tacos we had in a long time with two glasses of wine
Delicious and creative peruvian food. Great menu.
This place is the real deal if you’re looking for excellent Peruvian. This goes for the appetizers, main dishes, and their drink menu. Michel was our server and he was super friendly, made great recommendations and luckily for us he took over the bar for a few minutes and made us pisco sours, which were the best we have had in any restaurant in Florida. We ordered the ceviche trio which features some of the best tasting ceviche on the menu. My girlfriend and I had a great experience and highly recommend this restaurant for quality food and delicious drinks. As a bonus, if you want the best experience ask for Michel to be your server, he’s the best!
Friendly service and really good food. 😋
Delicious Peruvian food in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. We had the lomo Saltado and salmon mancora. It was the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life!! (From my 7 year old). There is a small kids menu and lemonade. Pisco sour was excellent.
Ceviche classico was great. We got the special which was Red Snapper with sea food. It was fantastic.
We were impressed by both the food and the excellent service from our waiter Gerardo, who was very professional and helpful. We felt very special. Without a doubt, this is a place I 100% recommend.
Very good service, quality food. The ceviche and grilled octopus are outstanding!
Went here in early September. Excellent servixr from friendly staff. Food was excellent. I had flambe scallops (see photo) and then prawns with yellow pepper sauce. Both dishes were very good. Nice glass of spanish white wine. The only issue was a very loud guest on another table. Insure if he was drunk or just ignorant of others in his vicinity. However i would definitely go back here again.
Thank you service was fantastic El chupe was amazing but the mix ceviche was even better we shall return as soon as possible
We had a FANTASTIC dinner! The ceviche and octopus were outstanding. Our server Fredy was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
Of all the dishes the octopus was the most delicious!
The staff at Inka anticipate you needs! They welcome you like family! The drinks are exquisite and the service is impeccable! If you want to have the best meal and the best drinks in Key Biscayne, this is the place to go! Very very highly recommended!
Excellent food, seating outside beautiful view nd great service
Top!
So much fun...delicious food...staff was FAST and fun...we had a really good time...left fat and happy!! And OH MY GOODNESS that ceviche!! So so fresh... I wish I got a pic but it was gone before I could lol... I did snap a quick pic of my rigatoni...it was also PERFECT!!!
Love at first taste. The food and service have been an absolute delight. There is nothing on the menu that’s less than magic ✨
Excellent Peruvian food in Key Biscayne
El Gran Inka remains to be one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in Miami. On this visit we ordered Las Conchitas a la Parmesana, Tuna Causa and Fried Ceviche as appetizers and I have to say they blew mi mind. The food was delicious and the service outstanding Carla is very detailed when explaining each dish and suggesting plates. What a great experience.
What wonderful food! The prices are affordable, the accommodations are comfortable, and the service is great. The quality is outstanding... I really enjoyed it. My recommendation is the "Mariscos a la parrilla" dish.
Excellent ceviche! Authentic Peruvian, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The sushi is tasty, although the rolls are a bit too big. But this ceviche is worth it all!
Great flavor and amazing service
Great spot on the key for Peruvian food. The Lomo Saltado is served with crispy fries that pair perfectly with the fluffy rice. The rigatoni con mariscos has a very unique flavor that is worth a try. It is not a typical pasta dish but it is very good. The service was excellent, quick and friendly. They have a great decaf cortadito for after the meal as well. Overall an excellent experience, I would rate it my second favorite Peruvian food in Miami.
Great food and service. Staff is very helpful as to dish selection and discription. Great place for a special night out or a just a dinner!
Good food, good atmosphere!
One of the best restaurants I've ever been in my life I always return here it's a must come, it has fair pricing and I never had a single bad meal here. I absolutely super highly recommend the tuna tataki plate and the ceviches they're truly divine
Very good food!
This is a must try Peruvian restaurant while visiting #keybiscayne located just south of Miami Hands down the best ceviche we had on this trip.
Amazing
A super-complete menu of typical Peruvian food. Surf and turf. The location is in a typical American mall-style establishment. Secure parking so you don't miss your ride. The place allows you to eat inside or outside. The service is typical gringo. Well done, very standard. The tables are nice bistro-style. It's located in a super-upscale residential area of Miami. The prices per plate are around $40 with drinks and no dessert. The staff is well-dressed. An ordinary place to eat, but nothing special.
The ceviche is delicious, the tacu tacu too. In general the food is excellent. The service was excellent.
The food was amazing and also the service !! Elizabeth walked us through the menu and the recommendations of the day in a delightful manner. She was friendly and patient with us, and made our experience even better.
We came to Miami for vacation. After we visited Seaquarium, we were searching for a place to eat lunch and randomly picked this nearby spot for lunch. It was so worth it! I ordered a beef and noodles dish, and my husband ordered a chicken potato dish with rice and cheese. We have never tasted Peruvian food but what we ordered was DELICIOUS! The wait staff were very friendly and helped us understand the menu (in English and Spanish). This local restaurant is the bomb, and if I come back to Miami again I will definitely check out this restaurant again.
Very nice, special food, first-class service, I recommend it 100%, Elizabeth is the best in the place
Awesome Aji de Gallina
Delicious food.
Excellent
Nothing like ceviche of fish with shrimp in this place. Every time I order one and every time I like more.
The food was very delicious, our waiter was very nice 5/5!! Franco was our server he was just so nice and patient!!
Food is delicious, service is awesome.
Thank you for the great service and the phenomenal service. Made my cousin’s birthday exceptional. Thank you for the hot pepper specific of Peru and the chocolate lucuma…very good. Thank you for a great night.
Everything was delicious. The service by Juan Carlos was phenomenal. Thank you so much for making my birthday exceptionally special. Thank you.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and wonderful customer service 🔥 Definitely recommend!
Very good service, excellent presentation, truly excellent service....
Very nice!! Great food and laid back. A little pricey but pretty fair for the area. Would recommend and come back! Went to key Biscayne for a day trip
Excellent food, good, friendly service.
we had the best dinner! oir waiter Juan was so attentive and gave us the best recommendations! we had ceviche, fried calamari, tiradito, and everything was great!
Came here for dinner after a sunset at the cleat. Great service, delicious food, had a pleasant Sunday evening. Thank you!
Excellent service and exquisite food
Juan was our waitress. 6 starts for him!!!
I give it a 5 because the food is AMAZING, the place looks nice. But the customer service can be alittle more friendly. I have a child and apparently they didnt like it and it made my eating experience there awkward.
Excellent food and service
I love trying no food especially from different cultures and I love it
Delicious food!! Lomito salteado and calamares ABD shrimps al grill…pisco great!!!
very delicious and fresh, thank you.
Very tasty 😋
The ceviches and the service were very good.
Great please .
Great place to eat!!!
The food was delicious. It had ají de gallina and mixed ceviche. Highly recommend.
Our favorite stop when we are visiting Key Biscayne.
One of the best Peruvian spots in Miami. Always the best Peruvian food in Miami.
juan was our server excellent
Being a Peruvian myself I can attest that this place is super Peruvian. Amazing food amazing service they even have dishes like anticucho and ceviche and on top of that they have dishes that you can only see in Peru normally like they're acevichado sushi.
We were leaving Bill Baggs Park wondering were we could enjoy some delicious Peruvian food in our beach attire. We were very happy to arrive & be seated fairly quickly without an issues. The food was delicious everything was presented very nicely as you can see from my pics. Some of the portions were smaller than I’ve seen at other Peruvian restaurants especially the Arroz con Pollo & the Arroz Chaufa. However, we enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere.
I was spending a few days in MIA staying at a friend's in the area. The place is quite convenient and easy to get to. The setting is really nice and the service was really good. I had the "Lomo Salteado". At first I thought the portion was a bit small but it was a good size and it tasted really good. My suggestion is to sit inside. The outdoors is too warm during lunch. Maybe good for dinner
I ordered the ceviche mixto and my wife the jalea imperial. Both were very good. The service was efficient but not particularly pleasant.
Excellent! Great price and quality 🤩
Better than the average strip mall restaurant. The ceviche classico was very fresh and flavorful with a good amount of fish. The two corvina entrees - one with peppers and onions and one more like a seafood stew were also very good. Eating outside despite it being a parking lot was pleasant.
So Yummy!! A great place to spend the afternoon with a friend.
I'd never tried Peruvian food before, but I thought it was quite good. The service and atmosphere were great. The only thing I didn't like were the desserts; they were generally too sweet.
A really good restaurant
Food was great! Atmosphere is nice too. Food took a while to come despite having many open tables. I did not like that they charge a full entree price ($32) for my kid who asked for small shrimp and rice plate instead of kids menu.
Delicious food. The air conditioning is very strong. It cools the food.
Excellent Peruvian food. Great ceviches, grilled healthy meats and seafood, nice soups and salads. Inside or outside seating. Location is a strip mall with great food and friendly service.
Nice spot,
A nice spot in an upscale strip mall in Key Biscayne. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it is dog friendly. Went with my wife and we shared the Ceviche Classico and the Tabule de Quinoa. The fish in the ceviche was cut up in nice size chunks and was clearly very fresh. While it had a nice citrus taste to it, I found it to be too salty. The tabule salad with asparagus was excellent. Service was prompt and our waiter clearly very knowledgeable about the menu.
they STILL need to learn how to make a good pisco sour. but the food is goid
Very good peruvian restaurant, including the Classic options on menu. The dishes look and taste is very nice. A place to come again. Just take your time reviewing the bill, since 18% service fee is added to total, however they suggest additional tip on total check base. A little bit unfair?
The food is good but be careful when they bill you. There is a18% service charge; then, it indicates : Purchase of $$$, +TIP> If you fall inn the tramp the total amount can reach at, least an additional 18%, meaning the total tip could reach 36%. Outrageous
I went to this restaurant after 5 years or so. I wa expecting the same Type of service and quality of food . This time the food was expensive very small portions. We arrived no waiter came to receive us, someone we think was maybe owner or manager came to ask what we need they took the order however no one brought us canchita like in the other tables. The food was not delicious was good but that is it. We eat pulpo a la parrilla which I eat better versions of It . We eat anticuchos and conchitas a la parmesana they were ok. The service was really not good . I won’t return I won’t recommend . Very disappointed
We arrived, and there was no more seating on the terrace. When we entered, the place had a horrible, unbearable smell. After one of the outside tables vacated, I asked one of the waiters to move us. The service was otherwise very good, but the waitress told us she was Peruvian. TERRIBLE, super rushed, not the best person for the job. I thought she was a very bad person and worker. The manager should take this into account. The food: the only good thing was the sushi; the rest of the main courses weren't very good. The dish that had meat; the meat seemed rotten. We were actually disappointed. We've been to better Peruvian restaurants. Don't waste your time there. Finally, the worst suspiro limeño I've ever had. There's no science to that dessert, and unfortunately, they didn't get it right.
The food was average, however, the service was horrible, there is long waits to receive meals and drinks came with the food. When the waiter brings the bill the tip was already included at 18% when they take payment they keep the original bill and bring you one that says “ADD A TIP”. This is not transparent and aims to confuse clients, I think it’s a form of stealing. I will not come here again. They are not stating to add additional tip like other high end restaurants, but it’s even worse that they are asking for an additional 18-25% after they already charged you an 18%.
And don't even get me started on the stew—I mean, the seafood rice, which was more like a stew. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend eating here.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT!!!! Totally OVERPRICED!!!! The dish is more or less okay, but THE PRICE IS LIKE AZUL AT THE MANDARIN HOTEL WITH PERU'S BEST CHEF, GASTÓN ACURIO. I MEAN... NOTHING LIKE IT
I ordered the Sautéed Tenderloin (Lomo Saltado) and what arrived was more of a concept than an entrée. First, the portion size: for nearly $17, I expected an actual meal, not a decorative sampling spoon. I’ve had larger portions from airline food. Second, the steak. I ordered it rare. What I received was well done—not “oops, medium,” but fully committed, no-pink-left, congratulations-on-your-leather degree well done. If rare is on the menu, someone in the kitchen should know what that means. The fries were advertised as crunchy. They arrived wet, limp, and sad, like they had been steamed in regret. Zero crunch. Absolute sog. And finally, the description proudly mentions Peruvian yellow peppers. There were none. Not one. Not a sliver. Not a whisper of yellow pepper energy. At that point, it’s just false advertising. Overall, this dish managed to be disappointing in multiple categories simultaneously: portion, doneness, texture, and accuracy. I will not be ordering this again, unless I’m conducting a study on unmet expectations.
Really bad service
Do not go to that place.... save your money. Food do not taste like Peruvian food.... very small portions and is expensive... average service... bad reputation for a restaurant in Key Biscayne.
Bad service and terrible food. I ordered a ceviche that looked like it had been prepared hours before, inedible, and a frappe lemonade that was leftover from a previous order, which was soggy. The guy who served us didn't even know how to set the table. I had been there before and it was fine. I had recommended it to several people. After this experience, I won't be back, nor will I recommend it.
"I only lose once"...that's a phrase I learned from my mother, meaning that I make a mistake only once. I was on my way home after working and was trying to find a place to buy food to go. I saw this place and knowing that Peruvian food is one of the best in the world I decided to stop by. I knew that being in Key Biscayne it would be pricey, but didn't care at all. What I didn't know was that it was going to be a way too small portion for the price. One hour after eating, I was hungry again. Food wasn't bad, that is why I gave 1 star. But for the Lomo Saltado price, I can go to "La Granja", yes, you read it right or Havana Harry's in Coral Gables and get a much, much larger portion and with better taste, for half the price. So, first and last time going to that restaurant, way too expensive, for the amount of food.
