Though it may be called the 'Lazy' Heron, the people who own, operate, & work here are anything but. The owners, Aaron & Jenn always go above and beyond to ensure that they have the place impeccably clean, the staff highly well trained, & orders ready as fast and accurate as can be. Right across from HEB, the Lazy Heron is a place where you can always expect a warm welcome, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, & damn good coffee.

The coffee is great and the staff is so nice! I accidentally left my credit card there and they went through the trouble of tracking me down on Facebook to let me know they had it. It was above and beyond! It is wonderful to have a business that cares so much about relationships in the community. Thanks guys!

Great coffee shop in Kingsland across street from HEB. Opens at 6 am, great WiFi, nice quiet place to hang out and visit, or catch up on work.

Great coffee and friendly staff! We visited every morning during our three day vacation at the lake... the nitro cold brew was our favorite, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was very good, too.

Fantastic local coffee shop. Didn't try any of the food but came here for a latte every day for a week while vacationing at Lake LBJ. Super friendly staff, great drink menu with tons of options, comfortable seating (both indoors and outside on their covered patio), clean restrooms, plenty of parking. 5*

Great coffee shop. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have WiFi if you need to bring your laptop and get some work done. Nice outdoor seating area. Highly recommend. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee and was very pleased.

First time visit, met with friends. Great atmosphere. Parking can get challenging, but HEB is a risk the street. Price was normal for a coffee shop. So the value is high. Tables of about 4 is normal, one area for small groups has more seating. I noticed a small area you can sit individually,privately. I dud not see any pastry, or pie offerings. Again, 1st time. I would return and definitely recommend The Lazy Heron

My husband and I stopped in after an appointment this morning. I love coffee and was not disappointed it was fantastic. So good when we finished shopping we went back for more. the service was really wonderful they helped you in any kind of flavor or anything you wanted in your coffee. when we go back through Kingsland we're going to make that are permanent stop for coffee and it was very reasonable to.

The coffee is delcious! When I was researching the area, this was the first place I wanted to try because COFFEE is key. Cute little shop that has seating, a few games, and art work for sale. The girl who took our order and made our coffee was so sweet. I got a blended coffee and my hubby got hot coffee, both are super good!

The inside is very inviting, plenty of tables, purchasable local art. Several impressive heron and pelican kites hang from the ceiling. We really enjoy stopping in anytime we are in town.

This is a quiet, lazy little coffee house in a tiny little township. The staff is always friendly. The Java is fresh and they have a buy so many get one free card! Price wise they are comparable to the coffee places in the area. They also have board games for free and plenty of open, airy and naturally lit space for you and your family. My daughters and I love to treat ourselves to this great place.

I’m an iced coffee fanatic! We were on vacation and I just happened to see this cutest coffee shop across the street from H-E-B while grocery shopping. It’s hit or miss with coffee shops, but this place does not miss! The best coffee, my favorite was the iced snickers. I got it every single day sometimes twice a day the five days that I was there in town. And the ladies there are all super friendly! Now, if they could just come to Frisco, Texas, I would be very happy. 😃

The drinks were AMAZING. I got a cold chai latte and it was so good. My friend got a Honey Bunny and said it really tastes like a honey bun. Super cute atmosphere. Love the decor following the Heron theme. Chairs and tables all very comfortable. I also really loved the art they were selling inside.

The staff were very friendly. I asked for my go to coffee (white chocolate breve with 2 pumps toffee) and it was good but the coffee was kind of watery? Idk how to explain it. It just tasted weak but maybe it was too much milk... It was still good tho. I drank it anyways

Vanilla latte was okay but service was not great. Stood at front of the counter for quite a few minutes before they even said a word or a "I'll be right with you" and there were 3-4 people passing by constantly. I get that workers are busy, I was a barista myself but it just didn't feel good and as a customer, I felt like a chore.

We were visiting from out of town and tried based on the reviews. The hibiscus tea literally tasted like cherry kool-aid that they purchased across the street at HEB, and my fiancees' coffee tasted watered down. I gave 2 stars because our drinks were not good, to say the least. However, I can't speak on the service or personal as my fiancee went in while I waited in the car. We wouldn't go back based on our drinks. It's possible they were just having a bad day but our experience was not great. **update** We would be happy to give you guys another try if/when in town. Like I said, it may have just been an off day. I would like to see what you use for the hibiscus though. Will change to 3 just for your quick response.

Went for a quick coffee stop and snack, ended up waiting 15 to 20 minutes in the drive thru line not expecting to wait that long :( Servers were nice and cold brew coffee was ok, a bit sweet for my taste. Must of just came at a bad time. Not a good first experience for me.
