Hubby has Celiac's and is gluten free. They have a decent amount of gluten free options and they take extra care when you order a GF option. Staff are always friendly and service is always exceptional. The meals we've had have always been good. I definitely recommend this 99.

I do not normally go out of my way to do these things lol. I figure my opinion doesn’t matter much. But I couldn’t not do this. I’ve had a very rough week mentally and so I took my mom out to dinner to get my mind off of things. But this was the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant Luci was our server and went above and beyond. Was very kind and attentive even complimented my hair ☺️. Well after everything we get the check I wrote in the tip and left a note that said “ive had a really bad week and your kindness helped, Thank you (The girl with the cute hair)” Well ig Luci picked up the receipt as I was walking out the door and stopped me to give me a hug and told me to trust the process. That meant the world to me especially this week. Luci deserves a raise! Here’s a picture of my mom enjoying her dessert lol

Service (Nicole) was outstanding, bordering on psychic in her anticipation of our needs. Food was quickly prepared, fully done, tasted fabulous, staff are unafraid to use a host/hostess to deliver food when they are busy. Noise level was not excessive even though we were one row away from the bar and could see the game on the TV. It was a pleasure to share a good meal and be able to speak to each other without bellowing. Love, love, loved Nicole's attitude and sharing of drink recipes. We will be back to compare our success at home with the same drinks there. Thanks

One of my favorite places to eat in Kingston. The employees are super friendly, the food is always deluscious. If your looking for a good bite to eat and a great atmosphere this is the place to go. Shout out to our server Nicole. She was attentive and very kind.

As far as chain restaurants go, this one is very good. The staff and management are GREAT! The restaurant is clean (which I cannot say for many chains). The food is usually cooked very well and seasoned nicely.

The service here was fantastic! The general manager visited our table a couple of times and was very friendly. She clearly has a love for the 99. She made sure everything was perfect and we had a very nice meal. Food was solid and the place was super clean. One of the best 99's I have ever been to.

Another first! I have probably passed this restaurant a million times over the years, but it was never my destination. Luckily my friend had a gift card, so we went. We saw the banner for chicken pot pie and decided to try it out. The crust was soft and buttery, it was fresh out of oven,very hot. Served with cranberry sauce and your choice of potatoes. It was a fantastic choice for a beautiful cold autumn day.

Great food and drinks and our waitress was outstanding.

Love going here, and I'm not big on chains. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting in both the bar area and main dining room. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The bartenders are very knowledgeable with all they have on tap, and are more than happy to offer samples and answer questions. The food is always delicious and the portions generous. We can go there for a big steak dinner or some burgers and beer.

Good pub food with and excellent selection of beer. At least for my pallet, it's been hard to find an establishment that will consistently serve up a good stout or Porter on a regular basis. It's unfortunate that They don't serve Mother's Milk by Keegan anymore, but their current selections are delicious.

I go here almost weekly now! 100% every anniversary and birthdays! Lage selection of gluten free and I friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent food and drinks at a great price! My husband loves their prime rib!

Crystal made my Wednesday morning stop way better than I expected. The bar was packed with people she clearly knew, but she still made me feel comfortable right away. She’s friendly without overdoing it, pays attention, and just has the room handled in a really easy, natural way. I had a good meal and two drinks she put together that were spot‑on. Simple, well made, no nonsense. The whole vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and her service had a lot to do with that. I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and myself started with tater tots and bacon cheese sauce. Homemade tater tots! AMAZING! Then we had burgers my husband had french dip burger. He says it was awesome! I had the all american burger and it was very good as well. Our server was Sasha and she was friendly and efficient. All in all a great decent priced meal. $38 for 2 sodas appetizer and two great burgers!

I had the French onion soup and a beer. Lacey was my bartender, she was phenomenal!! There are a bunch of beers on tap. 2 were suggested, and I tried both. I had an Abbey Jack porter. I ordered the onion soup in a crock. It came in a large bowl. The soup was just ok. My experience was good. Great beer, GREAT server, and was ok.

99 is a safe reliable bet much in the same category as Chili's and Applebee's. The food is good. The drinks are good. The service is good. The atmosphere is good. It's all very benign. If you're looking for a safe and reliable dinner out, this place is a great bet. I recommend their wings. They have a great smokey flavor. Good stuff.

It’s a pretty standard 99. I’ve gone with a big table a couple times and they don’t really handle that well (call ahead and they can’t reserve a table, but then when you show up they’ve given the big tables to 2-tops instead of saving it for big parties). The food is good, especially the burgers and the salmon, and the drinks are made well. The wait staff is always pleasant. The restaurant is clean and seems to be well managed. Not a bad place to eat

This was a great place to go for an impromptu weeknight meal. Perfectly cooked salmon with asparagus and a mesclun salad was $14.99 and well portioned. The service was efficient and friendly. Local scenes and events are displayed on the walls. The restroom was clean. Pretty good for a chain. They have my vote.

Good food for a chain restaurant. Good variety of food love the boneless wings. Trivia nights are fun, and the crowd is usually good. Sometimes the place is packed and you wait like 15 to 20 minutes but it's not bad. The location is good close to all the shopping places. I like going after shopping or after work with friends. I wouldn't recommend this over your favorite local restaurant, but if your looking for a chain restaurant with good food this is for you.

My favorite eat-out spot in Kingston. I usually sit at the bar with my friend. The ladies working are ALWAYS polite and funny. The menu is fairly priced, two people could go spend $25-30 each and get a dinner, a specialty bar drink, an appetizer (to themselves), and a small dessert, with enough to leave for a tip. If you don't eat that much, or you share an appetizer (which are huge), you'll save even more money. They do have pricier meals, and booth and table seating available. Reservations can be made in advance, the tables in the middle have a removable divider to accommodate larger groups. The ladies bathroom is big and always clean when I go there. Any time is a good time to go. Don't forget to ask about specials when you order!

We went around 7pm on a Saturday so things there were a bit rushed. Food was not the usual quality but we usually go earlier and its always been fine. Smaller portions like everywhere but they've managed to keep the prices a bit more reasonable than most places.

Very personable and friendly barkeep. Loved the popcorn at the bar, where we ate our lunch. Cheeseburger and fries which was great! Chicken sandwich also passed the test...lots of parking with ADA spots.

The booth however wasn't completely cleaned when I sat down, and their desert menu has absolutely nothing on it for the lactose intolerant. Also I couldn't help but notice that the two black men who were eating alone were stationed right by the door??? I like going here and do so many times. This past time they were having an off day on service. We were seated right away and the waitress took our drink orders as soon as we sat. We already knew what we wanted so the food order was also taken. The meal comes out and we still have no silverware and also waiting on drink refills. We sat for a good 5 minutes before I was able to find a waitress to bring us our silverware so we could eat and also the drink refills. The place was no overly crowded. This was unusual for us when we eat here so hopefully it was a one off. Still recommend going here for a quick satisfying meal

First time we have visited since before covid pandemic. We used to visit alot. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Ordered sirloin tips as this is what I always ordered when we used to come here alot. Requested well done, got medium rare. Tips were also much fattier than I remember. Had to send them back to the kitchen to cook more thoroughly. All in all, the restaurant has not changed much over the past few years. Still free popcorn. Young kids get crayons and a coloring activity sheet. Very good service. Food maybe not quite up to par as much as I remember though.

The burger was very good. My wife ordered chicken Parm when we got it. It was cool to the touch so she didn’t eat it but she was full from the appetizer and we took it home.

The Golden Honey mustard boneless wings appetizer is crispy and cooked to perfection. Loved them.(The small is plenty for 2 people.) I had the fish and chips. The fish was good. (could have used a tad bit more seasoning) My dining partner is a burger fanatic and enjoyed the Everything Burger. However, we did not like the french fries which looked perfect and was well seasoned but they tested like they came from the microwave. This place is clean and spacious. And. You're not sitting on top of each other. Sascha our waitress was very attentive but not pushy. Jeff is a visible manager and is ready to assist with any issues you may have. Overall the atmosphere was nice.

I was pleasantly surprised but at the same time did not appreciate having pieces of shell and the plastic clear part of the lobster in my roll. Nothing happened thankfully caught the pieces before eating. It's part of the creature but a little more care or better inspection before it reaches the consumer goes a long way. I enjoyed the flavor and had the drawn butter which is my suggestion for the lobster roll. The stuffed clam appetizer was very flavorful. I ordered a to go dish as well for my daughter and she enjoyed the chicken fajita thing. Lol. Not for me but I will go back again and try something else. I used to love the sirloin tips here but something changed years ago and stopped going. Maybe it's time for another try !

On Saturday night my husband and I went to 99 bar and grill for our date night out. While our server Justin was awesome very nice and did an amazing job. I did notice everything around. All the staff works extremely hard check on customers asking how everything is going making sure people have drinks popcorn they for there butts off. 😉 How The restaurant Manger he works hard too. He works very hard making laps and staying as far away from guest as possible. While everyone else is working hard Jeff is walking around like a zombie. He is one of the laziest mangers I have ever seen and should be fired for get paid to do nothing. Food tasted good however the bacon mac and cheese is more like mac and cheese with bacon on top portion sizes a so small for the price you pay. Justin our server was awesome. Watching everyone else working as a team was nice to see. I would have give 5 stars had I seen the Manger even attempted to do anything but nothing. Jeff you are one of worst mangers I have ever seen. As always I thank you for reading my review. Good food. The waiter Tim, was friendly and professional. Got the chicken bacon ranch Flatbread as an app. Pretty good but not much ranch. It was drizzled with BBQ sauce. Would have been better if it was drizzled with ranch too. I had the spicy chicken sandwich that was not spicy at all. Had sirachi sauce but not enough to taste it but chicken was tender and juicy. The wife had the extra butter lobster roll. Would have been better if bun was toasted a little more then they would have been able to put the extra butter on without it getting soggy. Not enough butter for the 2 extra dollars we paid. Overall it was great and will be going back.

Definitely a chain style large restaurant with good food options, service, large portions, sports decor with a nice size bar area. I definitely recommend the Vermont Cheddar Burger and Pepper Jack Chicken Mac & Cheese. Yummy!

Flavor - 4 star! The tacos were put together nicely, nice crunch from the fresh cabbage, and the chipotle mayo was very good. Other unique sauces, like the “golden” one you see here on my tacos, are woven throughout the menu. Great custom dishes for Father’s Day (going back tomorrow for the Lobster Roll). Mac-N-Cheese wasn’t the best since it was dry (not creamy/cheesy). Environment/Dress - 5 star! Super clean! Great music. Full bar. I went in on a Saturday night and saw old white ladies, families with kids, black folks, single girls for girls night out, people dressed up for dates, people in cut off shorts, etc. Super diverse and welcoming. Staff - 5 star! Very friendly and super professional. I was sat within 3 minutes of walking in. Tables were clean. Server offered great suggestions, and she didn’t drop me once I got the check paid. Price - 4 star! Reasonable. P.S. they do not have chicken tender tacos on the menu, I ordered fish tacos and substituted with chicken. AMMAZZZING “GOLDEN SAUCE”

Have not gone to 99 in a few years. Used to love to go for the sirloin tips they were great. Went tonight and had them. NOT again!! The were not like they used to be, they were tips before and these seemed to be long chunks. They we highly salted and peppered to the point I almost returned them, needless to say unhappy. My husband had the scallops and they were excellent, wish I had them. Oh well,next time no tips for sure. Would I recommend the tips? my answer would be NO!

The service at 99 was excellent, the restaurant was clean & organized. This was the second time I ordered a high end steak. Both times they were cooked to the correct temps. The only problem is that they were both tough and flavorless. The staff mostly did there jobs but the buyers missed the mark. I won't buy a steak here again. I usually don't eat in chain restaurants for this very reason.

Fair meal and atmosphere, the used to have lobster rolls which the recently took off the menu. Seafood options and surf and turf. The Seafood is ok, not alot of shellfish. Had the surf and turf, the steak was cooked good. 3 out of 5 overall

The food here is your standard bar fare, and is nothing to write home about, however I felt compelled to share a review because of how lovely our bartender, Dani, was. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was super friendly without being overbearing. The restaurant and bar area were very clean as well.

My friends and I needed dinner before heading to the city after our rail activity in the Catskills. I really wanted pulled pork, and while it technically wasn't on the menu, they claimed to have someone who knew how to make pulled pork and mac and cheese. Despite this, I didn't find the dish enjoyable. The restaurant was filled with loud, obnoxious older men discussing their retirement wishes and property. The tender or boneless wings appetizer was the only highlight; it was my favorite part of the meal. The seafood, on the other hand, lacked flavor, as my pescatarian friend pointed out. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent, although I can't recall the waiter's name, but I wish them the best in their future endeavors. Overall, the experience was a disappointing 5/10 because the food didn't quite hit the mark, and the atmosphere felt like a gathering of retirees. I'd describe this place as a watered-down local Applebee's.

It was alright. The manager was nice. My wife asked for well done, it wasn't quite enough, he took her meal off the bill. I was impressed by that gesture. Most places now apologize and keep it moving.

The staff were great. They treated us well. The flatbread appetizer was also good. However the quality of the meals (for the price) left a lot to be desired and the atmosphere was more "neighborhood bar" than it was "steak dinner". Personally, I won't be returning. We went to The Cornell for dinner the next night and got a much more impressive experience (meal and atmosphere) for less that what we paid here. Overall not bad here, but the cost didn't match the experience.

Smelled fantastic inside since it was prime rib night. Burgers were pre-made frozen. Fries not to bad. Relatively clean. Saw a server, Justin (long red hair), wipe his nose and then picked up someones food. 6.50 for a bottle of Heineken beer. Will not be going back.

We called ahead for 12 people, most over 80. coming at 3:45. We all meet there, first they make us wait outside telling us our server wasn't in til 4. Then when I go to talk someone they say, "we don't take reservations." OK, so why make us sit outside then when only 2 tables were other customers? And the woman I was helping get in is 89 she asked where we were being seated, and the woman standing at the register rolls her eyes and makes a nodding direction action. Then there they wanted us to sit in a booth with the divider down only big enough for 8 people!! We gave you a week's notice saying we were coming. And the food? Don't get me started. We will never go back again..

Everything is meh. We went for a football game (on Black Friday) and they don’t have Prime. Not sure how that makes sense.

They gave me a 25 minute window pick up time after ordering online, we didn't get our food until 15 minutes later, after I called from the curbside pickup spot. Then, i checked my order and they left out the 2 sides in my dinner. I went back in to sit and wait for someone to come to the front since no one was there. The guy had an attitude and never even apologized for, forgetting the 2 sides. I told him this was the 3rd time, I've had them leave stuff out or get the order wrong. He said nothing, no reaction, nothing! I go back out and checked the order dinner on the bottom and that was missing one side thay I ordered too. I had to go back in, wait again for him to come over,just for him to give me an expired bag of chips. Finally, home to eat, they literally, gave us 1/4 of the to-go cup of coleslaw and tartar sauce and there was a hair in his dinner! The amount of french fries we received in our dinners was very minimal. Good lord, fries are cheap! Oh and p.s., I'm pretty sure there was whipped cream in the dessert photos but no whipped cream in our to go desserts. I know it was only a $65 bill but, they have gone downhill!!!!

The food was pretty decent however i have some MAJOR issues with how service went…. First of all, the host attempted to seat me, a party of one, directly across from a table of 5 with seats empty at both the bar and other places in the restaurant. As anyone who has ever been eating alone knows, this is an extremely awkward situation. Luckily, the server i got was extremely accommodating and kind, so this post in more towards the efficiency of the restaurant. I ended up moving seats and everything was decently smooth until the soup came out before the drink, the drink was entirely too sweet (love potion 99), and they brought me a chicken bowl instead of a shrimp. I have been pescatarian for 7 years now so this was nearly unappetising. The attached picture is of the shrimp bowl when it did arrive. The good news? The shrimp was well seasoned, rice well-cooked, and instructions for no feta were followed. I understand miscommunication happens as a past server, however when its one thing after another like this, it’s disappointing.

Jennifer Plz was the waitress assigned to the table, very informal and unprofessional. The prefix was brought 2 minutes before the meal, no suggestion of appetizers were offered. The entrees were served at separate times by different people. She never came back to check on anyone. One meal came out with a salad on a hot entree plate ,the salad was never ordered as that person opted for soup. Essentially their dinner was a steak and 6 tiny mushroom slices, a cup of soup, a hot salad that they didn't even want and the bite of dessert that came with the meal. The vegetable on the other entree was hard. The third meal had their vegetable option omitted and served to them for dessert. Hearing her conversation with another customer about how she has only one night left here and is leaving for a city 50 miles away. It's any wonder we were treated like less than a paying customer. NEVER AGAIN at this restaurant very poor quality

My husband and I were craving steak but we're unavailable to go out because we have a newborn. I have eaten at 99 in the past with co-workers but we always ordered apps. That should have been my first clue. BlThe Caesar salad in my husbands order was a wilty, soupy mess. Both of our steaks were inedible. Luckily while I was dealing with the baby because I only had 2 bites of mine. My husband however got a little further and ended up THROWING UP! It was a shame we spent <$30 a piece on these entrees only to throw them out and have a sick husband. Debating calling for a refund!

Bartender Crystal is very nice and does a good job. However again I must complain about their take out I see my to go order sitting on the prep table for approximately10 minutes Then she sets it on end of bar. And walks away. Terrible service. I spoke with cooperate office about this cpl months ago. I see they blew it off.

Went to 99 in Kingston, waited 45 minutes for a big table, then was told they'd have to move 2 booths together and they'd rather not. We ended up sitting in 2 booths across from each other, which turned out fine. Our waitress however was slow, rude and didnt bring things we asked for, for either a long time, or not at all. We ended up having to stack our cups and appetizer plates ,to be able to eat our entrees. We were going to have desert but there was no more room at our table. Food very good, service terrible. Will not be going back!!

We've been coming to this restaurant twice a week for quite some time. Christine, Justin, Thomas, and Stacy have always been great. last night the new manager Mary, had her hair down and shaking it with her hands over a fo od prep area. When confronted she said her hair did not have to be up. The new manager Mary needs to go back to training. She was also very rude. Edit we have witnessed Mary serving food with her hair down tonight 2/19 . Tonight we left without ordering food. We will be going to Applebee's from now on.

Ordered cookie 8$ allstar burger and spicy chicken sandwich, I order here regularly and get decent food my latest purchase was by far the worst food I’ve purchased brown lettuce on both burger and chicken the sandwich couldn’t fill the bun and had no sauce, burger I ordered with no pickles or tomato came with only pickles and tomato and they removed onions etc… Also the cookie was burnt black and broken into 2 pieces extremely disappointed will spend my 50$ somewhere else nextime

Food was not good. Everything we ordered was disappointing. French onion soup and I asked for more broth than onions. Came out with so much mushy onions it wasn't even soup. It was like a crock of onion oatmeal. None of the onions were even whole, just mush. Potato skins were dried out and covered in bacon bits so bad all you could taste was bacon. Sour cream was spoiled. The place has an odd odor and was to dark. Service was below average.l

Food not cooked enough. People at the table next to us had the same problem. When a manager came to help them she had an attitude a d resolved nothing for the lady. I didn't bother to say anything just paid and left. Poor waitress had eight tables all seated at once. Would have been nice if someone helped her out it really wasn't her fault. She was a little overwhelmed.

I had the smothered tips.first the price was way to much $ 28.99 for 5 tips and it was suppose to be smothered with mushrooms, onions and peppers I had 1 burnt mushroom that was the size of a dime I strand of burnt onion and not 1 pepper it was not worth it at all.And my guests food was horrible also.waited over 20 minutes for the check after we asked for it and I can understand if the place was busy but there was maybe 7 other customers there.Use to love this place but definitely not going back!

Food was mediocre. Once the waitress took our order she was only back once again. A manager brought the food out. She came by one time and asked if I wanted a refill on my empty drink. Never brought it. Then the manager asked, took my glass and never brought back a drink so I went my entire meal without having something to drink. We've never been to this restaurant before and based on the service we wont be back
