Peggy, Matthew, and Yolis are amazing employees! They have such a nice warm energy! Today I ordered two of the new enchilada soups. There was only enough hot soup to fill one of those. Matthew communicated this to me in such a warm and apologetic way! He offered me other options and seemed really concerned that I get my order right. I really appreciate that! I told them I would run a quick errand nearby and come back for it. When I returned, the soup was still not quite ready. The manager was so helpful!! She personally went and prepared my order herself. While she was gone, Matthew saw me and asked if I was taken care of. Then another employee saw me and asked if she could help me. They were all so kind and concerned! I was actually surprised that there were so many warm and caring employees in one spot, but that must be the culture that the manager is teaching the employees!!!
Big Kudos to Matthew for being so patient while ordering our meal in the drive-thru. . Even though we asked a lot of questions, he was so patient and responded with such great customer service. When we arrived at the drive thru window, he continued to have great customer service and ensured we had everything. It’s rare we come to a Taco Cabana location and receive this service, so wanted to give a big thanks to Matthew, continue to demonstrate great customer service!! :) Date: October 16, 2025 Time: 8pm
9/15 @ 6:50pm-7pm. The order taker didn’t know the menu (maybe she was new) and also mentioned they didn’t have any flautas today which was the main reason why I chose Taco Cabana today, but a gentleman took over and we were able to place our order quickly. We received our meal, but it was prepared messy and food was all over other food. Also, the gentleman at the window said they were out of Jalepenos that we requested. We spoke to the manager and she remade our order quickly and with neat presentation and gave us jalepenos that we requested. I’m still giving a 5 star because the manager made our order right. But still wanted to include all about our experience.

Great fast food restaurant. The food is great and the inside eating area is clean and usually quiet. The service is good. The wifi is better than most restaurants in the area.

I am a very regular customer and I get service from the same few people. 1 in particular is always rude and has a very bad attitude. I'm not sure if she is racist towards me or just doesn't like white people in general. I ask for a veteran discount and the only one that has trouble giving it or doesn't give it at all, then acts ignorant to the fact that I didn't get it. The receipt has Martina on the person helping but I'm not sure that's her name. Sometimes I go in and if she is there I walk out and find another location to give my business. Too much competition in the food industry and it's not worth putting up with the rudeness or disrespectful attitude as a customer from 1 bad individual. Amongst the majority that one is affecting the store. I hope this comment makes an impact or maybe the competition is not that important to worry about. Thanks for the attention.
I eat at this Location for breakfast frequently so this is from an average experience and not a one time thing. That being said, the pictures are of issues. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food has a great flavor. I just just feel overall as a company they should tweak some things. Firstly, no two tortillas are the same. This is a problem because if employees are putting the same portion is every tortilla then some look full and some don't. The other thing is that I'm sure the eggs are made in small batches for speed, which is fine, but the chorizo and egg being held needs to have a way for the grease to drain. I love the place and love the food and I will always eat here,but Corporate needs to fix these issues.

Very disappointed.. order a steak fajita combo plate which suppose to have three fajita. 3rd one was a double rolled up fajita no fixing. Order a another combo and instead received tacos w chips. Unfortunately we did not check till we got home. Such much quality control
This place has had it's ups and downs over the past 10+ years. Whenever I think they got it back on track it just falls off the rails again. Three weeks ago I had the best steak cabana bowl I have ever had at a TC, the meat tasted like it was freshly cut steak fajita and it was great. The rest of our meals were ok, just never really expect much from this place as we go there maybe once a month at most. Fast forward to tonight, I'm thinking oh man I hope the bowl is just as good as it was last time. Nope, the meat is hard, almost beef jerky like and cold. Rather than deal with someone that doesn't really care about the quality, they just ask if I would like another one, I say nah not worth my time. I'll just pull out all the beef jerky bits and eat the rest and maybe come back with my family in a few months hoping someone gets it right again. I've spoken with a few managers over the years from this place, never a GM, but the actual manager that works there and they say that this location is just hard to staff. Such a shame, this could be a very successful location considering how terrible most of the fast food places are around here.
Made online order for curbside pickup. Drove to location. Didn't see any place marked for curbside. On second trip around I saw two flags on two stalls. One was bent over and unreadable. The other said reserved with a number 2 on it. No mention of what the reserved meaning was. I assumed it was for curbside pickup so I waited. Nothing saying to do anything so I waited. I waited ten minutes after the order was to be ready. I called the store with no answer. I left a message stating I was in stall number 2 for curbside pickup. Still nobody came out. I walked inside the store. At the counter I stated I was there for a curbside pickup. She asked for who, I gave her the name. The order was on a rack behind the counter area waiting for someone to collect it. She gave me the order and I walked back to my vehicle and left. I do not have the app for the store. I made the order and paid online from the website. The was no information stating what to do upon arrival. Nothing saying "we're here." The food was ok but no different from other workaurants of similar type. This has got to be the most unorganized, uninformed location I have ever been to. I guess they rely on people going in the drive through or inside. This was my first trip to Taco Cabana. They say first impressions...this was not a good first impression. This is most likely my last trip to Taco Cabana. The person at the counter was the only bright spot on this visit. She was helpful and made sure the order was correct before I left.

These were the worst chicken fajita tacos I have ever received. And then on top of it all, I can’t even call and speak with management because it’s not an option. The chicken tacos look and tasted like they were left overs from 3 days ago. They were rubbery and cold The taco bowl was full of beans and little to no protein. The shell was think and falling apart. The sapopillas were flat, hard and stale. The whole $60 order was such a freaking disappointment.
How do you mess up a bean and cheese taco ? It’s literally got only two ingredients. Disgusting taste and cold . Should have known better . This place couldn’t give food away .
This place very purposefully messed up my order, had me wait 30 minutes for nachos, and when I drove it all the way back here they told me they couldn't refund it after 30 minutes time. The 30 minutes I waited for it. I always expect trash service from Taco Cabana.
My husband and I just ordered at this location and the service was abysmal. We drove up and it took forever for someone to start taking our order. My husband ordered some tacos and chips and queso with some salsa on the side. I noticed as we pulled forward that the woman didn't add the chips and queso, it was not listed on the screen. A little irritating but no biggie. We pull up, and my husband very politely says that he didn't see the chips and queso on the order, and asks if we can add that. The woman says nothing, starts tapping on her screen and says "You didn't say chips and queso, just the six chicken tacos." First off, he absolutely did. Second, excuse you? How hard is it to say "Oh, not a problem, let me add that." The attitude was outrageous. My husband didn't argue, he just thanked her for adding it. The woman gave us our new total, we paid, and we said "thank you" as she handed us our food. She said nothing back. What a miserable woman. We don't ask for fake civility or for service workers to kiss our feet. Just talk with respect. It's not our problem if you hate your job. We were super chill and kind the whole time. Won't be coming back to this location. Edit: Oh, now that we're home, she gave us the wrong salsa despite my husband saying "green salsa" three times, and one of the chip bags is barely filled. Thank a bunch, I spent almost 30 bucks on this. Ridiculous.
Yesterday was my birthday so I decided to treat myself to taco cabana and panda. I picked up both at about 12pm thinking I'd eat the taco cabana later. well around 6pm I decided eat a taco and found that they didn't give me one of my $4 tacos. I immediately called the store and asked to speak to the manager. the solutions they offered was do you want to come back for it (mind you it costs about $0.72 to drive most vehicles a mile) or we can do a IOU and you can get it next time. when I asked for a refund the said let me call my manager I'll call you back. They never called me back.
We just moved here and we were excited to know we have a Taco Cabana at our new home. We’ve been here little over a year and everytime we’ve come to taco cabana here in Kyle the service seems to get worse and worse. Drive thru always seems to take forever just to take your order (and I mean sitting waiting for more than 20 minutes just for them to tell you “I’ll be right with you). They always seem to be mouth of things and have attitude whenever you do place your order like there such in a rush for you to hurry up. The management always seems to be these two ladies one young and one a little older and they always have bad attitude for some reason. We’ve tried going back many times with hopes of it getting better but just seems to me they can’t get their stuff together. It really sucks because I’ve always been a big fan of their food, but with the constant horrible customer service we constantly get, I don’t think I’ll ever be back to this location. And by the way, their margaritas have always been a favorite of mine, seems to me they can’t even make a margarita either. Me and my wife just left and got 4 mangonadas and 2 strawberry/mango and they all look the same color. A bright yellow and clear color with no indication of strawberry or chamoy. Such a disappointment! Hope this location gets better soon!
These guys didn’t even try today. Not worth my time to go back. If they are going to miss the entire thing I doubt they will get it right the next time. Management needs to get some training done or something. Worst taco cabana experience ever and I’ve been eating it my whole life. Be better. Edit 3/17/25: Wife went to pick some taco cabana up tonight. Order completely wrong again. Quesadilla cheese wasn’t melted at all. Size of a large queso is now half the size of what it used to be. The location has gone so far down hill that we won’t be eating here anymore. Zero stars. They e failed for years and it’s my fault for expecting anything different.
First time I have ever had Taco Cabana and i asked a couple of times for sour cream and they assured me tomatoes and sour cream would be on there. Neither topping was on there. And I was charged for it. Also, there are barely any toppings. Almost $14 for 3 tiny tacos, not filled up, broken and a small thing of cold rice. Disappointed. Won't be back.
