I love the chicken so juicy but they need to mix there mashed potatoes better that why they lost a Star from me but they gave me like 9 chicken and I ordered a 4 piece but that doesn't make them potatoes better

This location is one of the best in Texas staff is really nice the place is very open and the food and drink concession stand is clean and organized. Bathroom could use bit touching up but everything else was above and beyond.

My family was so excited to see a Golden Chick so we stopped. Needless to say the stop wasn't worth it! The chicken strips were the smallest I've ever saw. The salad was tiny, the Jalapeños poppers were tiny. They fish was even smaller. The literal size of the food was for a toddler. Not worth the price. The staff was pretty amazing, they almost made up for the small sized & Small portioned food. Plus the store was clean, that really helped!

I used to really love Golden Chick but lately prices have increased and quality decreased. They have not given us what we ordered several times recently, they always forget the rolls ,especially when I order extra. The catfish was pitiful last time, it used to be really good. The wicked wings we ordered tonight were regular wings, no spice at all. I also ordered potatoes and gravy, got a dribble of gravy. The only thing I can say is the sweet tea and rolls are really good if you get them. Wish I took a picture of the catfish order, it really was ridiculous.

Whenever I go in it’s always great, but the drive tru is another story. On this occasion I had to wait with no line a couple minutes before anyone acknowledged you to take your order, then the order is wrong and the rolls are less than desiresble

I've been getting chicken from this place for at least 3 years now. For whatever reason, the chicken quality just tastes worse ever since a few months ago. I thought maybe we just kept getting old chicken that was sitting out for a while, but after getting it a few more times, I've concluded that maybe they just cook it differently. I don't know how, maybe it's the batter or something, but it just doesn't taste great anymore, even when it's freshly made. I'm not sure why they would lower the quality or change the recipe of the exact thing they specialize in when it was already perfect. At least the sides are pretty good, but I'm done getting chicken from here after giving it too many chances. I almost forgot, but the fried okra has been overcooked (more often than not) as of about 1 year ago. The fried part is usually too hard and the okra inside is charred to a crisp. I liked when they still had juicy okra inside. I don't want to just eat fried batter.

I spent like $30 there ordered spicy tenders with no gravy with lotta zing sauce. After getting my order I ask for another lotta zing sauce she said we normal charge you but today I won’t. So glad I ask because I got no lotta zing sauce but I got gravy and my tenders was not spicy is it so hard to get orders correct??

Every time we come here, they take at least 5 minutes before they even ask to take our order at the drive through. The APP doesn't work and they refuse to give us the app order since we had to go through the drive through because the APP wouldn't do it, even though there's still an hour until they close. They wouldn't answer the phones when we tried to call in the order either, so had to do drive through. It cost $20 more then the APP order for the same food. The workers had an attitude because they only had an hour left and were already trying to shut down. Its ridiculous 😒!

Not only did we wait 15 minutes after going thru the drive thru to get 2 REGULAR CHICKEN SANDWICHES but I ordered extra pickles (unaware that the sandwich is bread a chicken patty and sauce ONLY!!) and they made sure to put the pickles ON MY BREAD while we waited 15 minutes so my bottom bun was completely SOAKED!! Will not be going back! Completely inconvenient to be told to go out of the driveway and circle back into the store FROM A BUSY MAIN ROAD but I had to go inside and ASK where my food was 🤬🤬
