This location stayed open during bad weather when a lot of other restaurants had closed early. Our group of 14 was welcomed in and served hot food quickly at 9pm last night. The best Whataburger. Thank you.
I might’ve waited 30 minutes for my chicken strips, but they were so damn good. It was amazing, especially since it’s one in the morning.
I had a wonderful experience today!! I was having a rough day to start with. I drove through the window and ordered a meal. After I ordered, I realized I had forgotten my wallet. I apologize and told them it was ok, and I was so sorry!! A sweet lady came on and told me to come on up to the window. The young man handed me the drink I had ordered as a lady was giving him money from her own pocket. I thanked them over and over , I had tears in my eyes. I ate my food and called the store for her name. Anyanitta? I’m sure that’s spelled wrong. I will be back to repay this sweet young lady.
Everybody was very polite and professional. Food was out quick and was fresh. Inside was nice and clean and the bathrooms were as well. Always a great stop after Sherwood Forest.
Went there picked up 17 double cheeseburger with fries for the crew it was delicious. Got there picked up everything. It was all ready to go no waiting. Good customer service and timing. I'll definitely be back.
Traveling through Texas we stopped in Giddings for lunch. , Jose in the Drive-Thru line was really helpful. He made sure top of the cups were dry before handing them over he was fast and courteous even ran to the back to grab us some ketchup. Thank you sir. Food was delicious.
As I walked in I was thrown away by the cleanliness applied personally from Mr. D’vonte Jackson, the amount of reverence he put in his work of putting my fries in the bag touched me too much to not write a review, his workmanship should be studied, he is a master at his craft.
Great fast & friendly service at this location, even at the height of the lunch hour on a Saturday. Got to try one of theur new chicken sandwiches and UT did not disappoint, so glad they're doing more with chicken. 🙃

Being in a small town I was expecting it to be a little run down, but it was great! The manager on duty (I forgot her name, but she was a black lady), was very welcoming. First time having breakfast and it was pretty good, albeit not a ton of food.
Stopped in today for late breakfast/early lunch and instantly greeted by the staff. Michelle was at the register and welcomed us. She did a wonderful job with taking the order and made sure everything was great. Her personality made our day and will be back!!!
Michelle is awesome. The team at this location work as if they’re at a small dinner. Each team member goes out of their way to treat each customer with professionalism & respect. I highly recommend this location.
While passing by we stopped for breakfast and it was the BEST whataburger breakfast we have had in a long time. Food was fresh, hot , and the place was clean and the people were nice!! Unlike the two locations in Weatherford.
Road trip stop on the way home. No pictures; I was driving. The girl who took our order on May 7th, 2021 (Mother’s Day) around 3 pm in the drive through was terrific. Repeated the order, was patient, professional and got it all correct. The food was good too, but rarely do I have anything to complain about with Whataburger (I love my Whataburger!). I just hope this information makes it to the girl because she went above and beyond!!
Very polite staff! Made sure our drinks didn't have a bunch of soda on the lids so they didn't drip in the car and made sure we had all the condiments we wanted. All staff is wearing masks and gloves while serving food and processing payments.
Had the Honey BBQ chic sandwich. The chicken was cooked just right and served hot and quickly. That gave us time to finish lunch and get back on the road to Houston. Great stop.

The gentleman at the font taking my order was so kind. I think his name was Ron or Rob or something. Shorter African American gentleman. He was a busy bee, making sure coffee was made, etc. Just a great employee. The food is better than most of the other Whataburgers I’ve been to. Perfect fries. Manager made sure everyone was taken care of too!

One of the most pleasant Whataburger experiences I've ever had. Michelle is an absolute delight! She was friendly, checked in on all of the customers, and worked the front counter with speed and efficiency.

D’vonte Jackson was the best and kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting as he put the fries in the bag with a smile and made sure my shake was perfectly shook, he for sure needs a raise and if he doesn’t get one me and my boys are gonna riot against this disservice. Stopped by to get my wife a quick bite on the way to Round Rock. The staff was very friendly and polite in the drive-thru. The service was also fairly quick. As we departed on our way, my wife encountered the best Whataburger Jr. ever. It was the kind that you see in photos because it was simply flawless and picturesque. Whoever prepared the sandwich should be called an artist. Everything was proportionate with the cheese evenly aligned on the burger and the toppings perfectly placed thereafter. The condiments were nicely added without sloppily running over the side. This was a photo moment, but we were already back on the road. I hope you can picture it through my words. I commend the cook who was working the night of June 6th somewhere around 10/11pm. Be Blessed.
The kindness we were shown today was extremely more than most places show. Before we even placed an order we asked for a container that would hold water for a dog because we had left it at our daughter's house. It was provided along with the ability to get the water. We could have left then without spending a dime. Of course we had stopped because we were hungry. The service was great, or food was exactly as we ordered. I am picky on my hamburger and its finished condiments. This Whataburger is a clean, calm and peaceful place to enjoy an early dinner.
They always take great care of our orders both drive thru and dine in. Food is always great, I love the jalapeno biscuits at breakfast. My daughter likes that she can get a Whataburger for breakfast as well. Thanks and keep up the great work! This is our go to spot when we are traveling on the road in Texas.

Everything I've come to expect from Whataburger. The burger was fresh with fresh tasting ingredients. The staff were nice. The only marks against this location was cleanliness. Don't get me wrong it was generally clean (no flies, no funny smells, and I'd use the bathrooms), but this is an area that I hit hard with almost a decade in food service. I'd definitely go again.
Have stopped at this Whataburger on multiple occasions. It always seems to be the same, understaffed at least at the front counter. I'm sure on this trip I got there after a rush, only one young man at the counter trying to multitask restocking, taking care of customers. On a side note, all these restaurants should stop with the bring me my food in the parking lot, it's a waste of time just get out of your car or go inside. And be paid much to serve you.
Food was good. We had to go back through the drive thru for utensils; it's kind of difficult to eat biscuits and gravy without them. The lobby is open from 7 am through 11 am, drive thru is open for more hours, I just don't know exactly what they are. Their coffee is definitely better than McDonald's.

Just had to introduce a British friend to a Whataburger....... the jalapeño burger and avocado, bacon burger delivered on taste, size and enjoyment.
The food was so good and warm!! It's been a while since I've custom ordered something and they got it right. (Not from this particular location) It did take quite a bit to get our food (we were in the drive-thru). The person taking our order and at the pay window was very nice and friendly. The only thing that I will say is that we asked for gravy when we ordered everything else and we never got it. The person at the pay window asked several times but never got it. He was going to have to go make it himself. I didn't know it was made to order. We had to leave and there were 8cars behind us. But yes, I will return.
Stopped on the way home after a Saturday night Rangers game in Arlington. It was almost midnight and Whataburger was busy with a line at the drive-thru and full parking lot with a welcoming light. It was Saturday night after the dirt racetrack down the road had finished. Lots of conversations but not to loud. We had friendly service with a smile and the food tasted so good. Biscuits with sausage gravy for me with fresh brewed decaf and two sausage egg and cheese taquitos for my man. Great stop for our trip.
Very clean, helpful staff, easy access. Normally this is a place we stop at 2 to 3 times a month and we never have any issues. Last Sunday we went thru the drive through, the hash browns were over done (almost burned), no napkins, and the condiments we asked for were missing. Other than this visit, we have had no issues.

Don't bother trying to save time ordering on the app. I sat for 25 minutes after I checked in. Got there 2 minutes before it said my order would be ready. Update: Called inside, they didn't get updated when I checked in so no one knew I was there. So, if you use the app, if it's been a few minutes after it should have been ready and you've checked in, call them.
I happened to have breakfast and lunch in this Whataburger. Both times were terribly slow service. I finally pushed to the kitchen to see where my breakfast order was. It had been sitting on the counter in the back next to a kid with his hands in his pockets. The perils of eating at fast food joints. Probably the same issue at lunch but i was in the drive thru. I have been using the whataburger app to order ahead of time, for the past 14 days straight at this same whataburger, at about the same time, between 0430 and 0450 a.m. and EVERY single time I have been waiting for my order as if I had just order it as soon as I stop by. I understand that you guysight want to do it fresh, but there is always a reason why ordering ahead and that us usually because the customer does not want to waste time waiting. Other than that great personnel on shift, and the orders have always been correct.
Honey butter chicken biscuit was really good but the curbside pickup was not. I put in my parking spot number and waited 10 minutes but nobody ever came. I proceeded to go through the drive-thru but it was very busy so I chose not to wait in line. I walked into the store and they would gave me my order but that's not really what I call curbside pickup..
I used the drive-through today for lunch (chicken strips whatameal). I did ask for regular ketchup. No ketchup in my order. Napkins should come automatically with drive-through orders one would think? But nope. Requesting napkins might have helped, but it didn't help me get any ketchup. Look, I get that working fast food is tough; I've done it myself. And yet....it's not hard to put ketchup and napkins ..I mean napkins! in an order for the drive-thru...come on! Going into the store or swinging back through the drive-thru wasn't an option since I had my Chihuahua and cat with me for a vet visit....ergo utilizing the drive-thru....ya know. Food was great as usual. 👍
They're hit good or miss completely here. A few mornings I've went for a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and only gotten a sausage biscuit twice out of my 5 times going. Lunch, I ask for no onions on my burger and seems like they add extra. I ask for certain sauce when I get the chicken basket and get nothing and have to go ask and they want to charge me when I've already paid.
Disappointed. Second visit in 2 weeks and they still can’t seem to get orders correct. Asked for extra items, get charged for said items and yet I didn’t receive them. Burgers were so soggy like they had been sitting before our order was even put in. Make sure you check your order 100% before you drive off. I trusted them too much.
This sandwich is supposed to have grilled onions, fresh onions, tomato, extra lettuce, pickles, extra cilantro lime sauce. I've created the sandwich at two different Whataburgers in Austin and they were huge and perfect. There are two tiny shreds of lettuce in the sandwich. It wasn't even a regular amount of lettuce - it was light lettuce, not extra lettuce. Is this what I should expect in a city like Giddings? Are we scared of vegetables out here? I'm not sure this was worth $7. I felt like I was eating only chicken and bread.
I was disappointed tonight. The Whataburger in Giddings had trouble placing my order and then didn't have any salads for my wife who is gluten free. My Swiss Mushroom burger didn't taste right and I've had it before. Even the fries were off. Generally I love Whataburger but this isn't the 1st time I've has disappointment at this one.
Service was awful and the wait was ridiculous...... came through around 12 midnight and try to order a tea and was told they don’t have any???? I asked why not? We don’t brew tea until 4 am UNBELIEVABLY!!! Burger was a mess and dry , fries were cold . After a 30 minute wait you would think my food would have been hot and fresh.
I am afraid this chain is losing its place as best hamburger in the biz. The last few times I have been the burgers were luke warm with cold cheese and cool fries. I complained on line with zero response. I think this may have been my last whataburger meal. So sad!!
If you are going to precook meat make sure it's hot enough to melt cheese, I've never had problems with my food still warm also at whataburger by time I get home, but it was cold. Whataburger has been always about fresh it's one of the reasons I go to you, but if you are doing this I will be going elsewhere
Getting the wrong order on the different occasions means I will no longer go to Whataburger ever again. The French fries are disgusting if not eaten while they are hot. All they care about now is seeking merchandise, not quality food.
Stopped at Whataburger at 4:30 am to pick up some breakfast tacos and coffee. When order was placed at menu board, I was notified there was no coffee YET. I have never been to a Whataburger that is open 24 hours with no brewed coffee. The lady did not even offer to see if I would wait for some fresh coffee,
Whataburger has some of the absolute best fast food burgers. Many of their specialty burgers are among my top "go out to eat" foods. When you get Whataburger, you know you are going to get quality Texan food. However, this specific Whataburger has been terribly lacking. Every single time we go, something is wrong. Every time I hear a friend or family member went, something was wrong. Cold food, wrong food, missing items, having to ask FOUR times for ketchup and napkins. It went way downhill fast, and has now become a spot to avoid. On our most recent trip, we spent 54 minutes in the drive-thru, and every single burger had something wrong. Plus we were missing several things. Called in and the manager said they'd redo the order. Awesome. We go in, explain everything, no problem they redo the order. We receive the remade order, it was still wrong, and still missing items(gravy). Rather than make a scene or complain AGAIN, we left. This Whataburger needs HELP.
I've been to this location multiple times for breakfast and will go back, as it's the only Whataburger within a 30 minute radius. However, the customer service was lacking. They did not seem happy to see us. No "good morning, how are you?" No "What can I get for you today?" We waited 20 minutes for our meal and again were not greeted at all. We told her what sauces we wanted and all she said was, "oh, I grabbed the wrong tray" and came back with the sauce. No explanation or apology on the wait. The food is always good, that's why we go here. But those people should not be in customer service.
Slowest service that i have ever experienced at any whataburger. We love whataburgers, but this one really just sucked. The food was cold after waiting for 30 minutes and there were only 6 customers in the building at this time.
Among other things, I bought a meal with fries and drink in the drive thru, and they didn't put the fries in. I noticed when I was already on my way, so I didn't go back for them. No napkins, either.
We just left the restaurant, eating our food in the car for we have a long way to to our destination. I ordered a coffee and fries plus a Whataburger with cheese and an order fries. We had to wait for the coffee, ok it will be fresh. I received the food order and they hadn't even started making the coffee yet. My burger isn't even warm fries are not fresh, at all. Very disappointed!

Took 25min for 4 burgers to dine in. Counted 8-10 employees which all of them had their iPods on. So unprofessional. No Hello no Bye bad customer service. We were only us 4 in the restaurant so I don’t get why the slow service!
Young staff here at Whataburger making lewd comments in front of customers. Everyone standing around not working and the GM isn't doing anything but counting money. I'm sad to say my family had the worst burgers I've ever had at this location ever. All 3 of our burgers were cold and tasted like they sat out on some counter for the last 2 hours. Please do better. It usually is better.
Drive thru was rude taking my order only to get it wrong. When I come in mand wait about 5 minutes the lady acts like she can't understand my issue. Missing just the paid for extra cheese she offers to give me a COLD slice of cheese to put on my now warm burger. I opted for a make over. They do with attitude only yo make it THE SAME EXACT WAY. I just told the nice server guy to give the COLD slice of cheese because I'm not waiting again. Now my fries are cold. Service was so noticeably bad, a local approached me at my truck to acknowledge the situation and apologize.
Worst Whataburger experience I've ever had. We waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. There were also several customers who ordered around the same time that we did that got their food after us. When the meal arrived, my burger was cold in the middle. When I took it back to the counter, they made me a new burger, but it was not what I ordered. We pass through Giddings fairly often, but we will go out of our way to eat anywhere other than this Whataburger!
They must have a new girl working here because when I called in to complain they even said on the phone they have gotten multiple complaints about this one female. She answered to take my order and already had an attitude. When we pulled up to the register the food wasn't ready, so instead of asking what kind of condiments we wanted or anything she rolled her eyes, locked the window, and walked away. When she brought our food she still didn't ask if wanted/needed anything. Just rolled her eyes IN OUR FACE and handed us our food. She had a completely unnecessary attitude the whole time for nothing.
Myself and a friend stopped at the Whataburger in Giddings, Texas - 2050 E.Austin. We had just left a funeral and we were very hungry. We proceeded to order our food , but the lady at the cash register could not get our order correct, they did not have any large buns and we opted for the Texas Toast finally we got the order put in and we went to sit down waiting on our food, the same cashier brought us a bag with a fish sandwich in it which the lady behind me had ordered, so we waited a little longer and I went up to the counter to find out where our order was. There was a bag sitting on the counter and they asked what our no. was and low and behold that was our order just sitting there noone called out our no. I reached in the bag for a fry and they were cold checked the burger and it was cold. Asked for the manager, he came over and asked what he could do for us. One of the other employees came with him and said they were going to remake our order. In all reality they were not remade the fries were not hot nor was the burgers. At that point we were just ready to eat and leave. I feel we did not get the best food or service that we should have. Even though we didn't live in Giddings I will always remember not to stop at that Whataburger ever again.

I stopped by this establishment this this morning and was very disappointed. The young lady who took my order got it wrong. The breakfast sandwich was not good at all (the egg was not cooked and looked disgusting) I also waited in line for at least 20 minutes (in the drive through) for horrible food. Very rude. In the drive through I ordered for a family of five and you can hear the female say ugh is that it? Like really? Then one of my orders was a double CHEESE burger . Both burgers we order were served dry & cold along with the fries, we ate there. It would be nice if they would start cooking your order right after you order it, like it use to be but instead they opt for fast service so apparently the burgers are precooked thus making for an inferior product, very disappointing. I’m sure Harmon Dobson is rolling over in his grave over such poor quality of his pride & joy, Whataburger.
After Maria argued with me for five minutes telling me that the #1 is not the meal, she still got my order wrong. Good job. Got attitude and not the right burger👍 Went back in to get the correction. They still got it wrong. No matter how specific you are, they argue with you and still get it wrong. Talked to manager and the manager states that she wasn't arguing, she was just being specific so that she doesn't get it wrong. They got the specifics wrong... Twice.
Worst Whataburger ever I waited for 20 minutes for a breakfast on a bun that I never got there were dine-in customers there before me and they had still not even received their food. Management really needs to step up to the plate
I'm a dasher for DoorDash. I hate going here for deliveries. Orders take at least 10 mins longer than they should. They never start an order until the dasher arrives. Employees are slow & unmotivated, not trained properly on appropriate packaging for delivery vs pickup, they don't know what is their job vs what's my job. Employees and managers are oblivious to what good customer service is. They have a couple great managers, but they can't do everything. Even their GM is worthless. It starts at the top.
Waited in line for 20 minutes. 6 cars ahead of me. Finally placing my order only to be told they do not have shakes at the moment. Maybe take down all the shake signs in the grass?? Got to the window and was told they are out of gravy. No apologies. Just asked what other sauces I would like. I would like what I ordered. Staff is very short with customers and unapologetic. I left with no food and went to Taco Bell where they were extremely nice.
Terrible service. Get to the people standing outside that take your drive thru order they are just having a conversation. Nothing work related before they finally take our order. Employee curses in front of my kid! Completely messes my order up. I don’t even know what sloppy mess of a burger they served me. Grease literally dripping out the wrapper. Didn’t even give my son dipping sauce for his tenders even after they asked! I will not be back!
After reading through some of the comments for this Whataburger location. I couldn't agree more with most of the reviews. I was driving back to Houston, and stopped at this Whataburger for just a Breakfast Burger and a Orange juice. Didn't want to make my order complicated since there was a long line. The person at the Drive thru got my order wrong. Apparently this location has a problem with taking the wrong order 99% of the time. One employee walks over to my car to ask me what I ordered after like 25 minutes of me waiting. He repeats the order back on the Headset radio. That's when I knew my order wasn't even prepared. Waited another 10 minutes ordered never got to me. I left without my food. I never dispute charges with my bank. But I will never let Whataburger have free money if they can't get their employees to do their job correctly. One thing is making mistakes and correcting them, or learn from them. This location doesn't do any of that. DO NOT STOP AT THIS LOCATION IF YOU'RE DRIVING BACK 290 East.
Ate inside. Messed up order, cheech on burger was cold not melted. Frye's were cold and soggy. They were not busy at all. 6 people in dinning room. Slow drive through at noon on Saturday. I should have known better @
Food absolutely sucked! Honey mustard sauce tasted like a science experiment. Grilled chicken sandwich was rubbery. Asked for extra napkins(to go order) got none. Onion rings were cold and greasy. Other than that it was great.
I grew up with Whataburger. It used to be the best.. but has now been sold and the new ownership has changed everything! The rich flavor is gone. The onion ring batter is close to cardboard and the fries are limp, not to mention the outrageous prices! I'm sad now.
Ordered 110 meals for our high school band with a pick up time of 11 am. Arrived at 11 and meals were not close to being ready. An hour and a half after the schedule pickup time I finally got all of the meals. My band had to eat cold soggy food. Never ever again. All the manager said is we can only cook so much food at a time. Never again!
They either forgot to make my order or gave it to someone in the drive through line. Received a refund but no apology. Poorly run and the employees seem more interested in bumping their gums than paying attention to their job. Aggrevating as I've generally had good experiences at this location. Don't know if it's going downhill or if it was just this morning's crew having their collective head up their backside. Disappointing.
While we were in line. Michelle, pointed out another customer to cut us in line and take her order before ours. Then proceeded to tell us that we would be waiting 15-20 minutes if we wanted to order. She made us feel like not even ordering food.
I walked into an empty restaurant and walked right back out after 5 minutes. All employees were busy in back preparing something. Not once did anyone say hello, welcome, we'll be with you in a moment or even glance our way. VERY bad customer service. No wonder why the McDonalds right next door was super busy. I know my little bit of money wont make a diffrence but I will not be going back to THAT location again.
It took forever for them to greet us, one person in front of us despite having at least 9 employees working that I could see. My burger liked like it had been flattened. When the employee asked if we needed anything else we asked for ketchup. He asked, how many? We sure for 4, he then told us we already had two on the table.
I just moved to this area and this is the second time that I went to this restaurant and this is the second time that they screwed up my order. The management there is not professional and very lacking in and any customer service. What a good customer they just lost! I really wish I could give you a zero Stars!
