A very motivated owner who works hard front of house but also ensures the kitchen crew continues with his exacting standards. I always said that K the Two Brothers in Prague is the best Indian restaurant in the world and I stick with that, but if you want a restaurant where the food is of an exacting authentic standard and where everything is set to ensure the ultimate dining experience as K the Two Brothers religiously adhere to, then this guy and his able team are a brilliant substitute for it.

Wow, the prawn purée was mouthwatering delicious. All of the dishes including the rice were really tasty, authentic and huge juicy prawns, this can only be achieved with freshly cooked food and ingredients. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and efficient. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend lunch or dinner.

Visited recently on the recommendation of a friend who frequently eats here and have to say, what an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was well presented, full of flavour, and clearly made high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Most of the seating is outside. Was almost full when we visited but food came quite quickly. Was excellent. Good portions. Most of the staff very friendly (our waiter was the exception!) Would return.

Brand new curry house in La Linea. Popped in for a takeaway, great service, ordered a chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, peshwari naan & onion bhajis. Got a cola & a Cobra on the house while we waited and then food was very good indeed. Very reasonably priced, the dishes were authentic and authentic - as a curry fan, it hit all the buttons. Only gripe was that although I ordered a vindaloo and confirmed for it to be 'hot' I got a mild madras heat, but they will up the heat on request & they do offer a phal too. Overall- we'll be back!

This evening I decided I could not resist the wonderful smells coming from this restaurant and had to stop and have dinner This cuisine is made with heart and love. Absolutely perfection, very fresh and excellent quality produce. The atmosphere was lovely sitting in the mist of la linea bustling Town. The service was outstanding, polite, attentive and truly caring which is rare these days. I recommend you try this little honey pot as you will not be disappointed and will 100% return. Well done truly a lovely experience.

Good food, reasonable prices. Service is excellent. Most seating is outdoors. If La Linea sewers are a bit pongy (as they can be), it spoils the situation....but there's not a lot the Taj Mahal can do about it. English is spoken well and understood. Acts as a bar and cafe too during the day. Recommended.

I regret not having taken more photographs. All I can show is the Papadoms and the lassi (both excellent). The prawn puri was outstanding and I enjoyed my chicken madras too. Very pleasant staff.

Delicious food and very nice staff and service. We ate vegetarian dishes (Channa Masala and Saag Paneer). The Paneer was Tofu instead but still very good. Prices are great (7 € for a dish + 2 € for Naan Bread).

Was in the region for a couple of weeks before tried this place and have been twice since in the last few days and will go again. Best that have been to in the area. Food very well spiced, meat prawns vegetables all taste fresh. Service very good, staff very friendly.

In 34 years I’ve been very picky on a decent curry and customer service is something that comes naturally and finds me. Well this place! Mi esposa y yo fuimos en la tarde del 14 de febrero para un almuerzo especial. Fue nuestra primera vez en un restaurante de culinaria india e íbamos con la expectativa de si iba a gustarnos o no. Experimentamos diversos platos y salsas y nos encantó todo. Realmente todos los platos estaban muy sabrosos. El servicio también excelente y rápido. Ida, la muchacha que nos atendió, fue muy agradable y aclaró todas nuestras dudas. Además de preguntarnos si preferíamos la comida muy picante o no. Se agradece el pan y las salsas que van por la casa para comenzar la degustación. Los precios también me parecen adecuados. Sin dudas es un lugar al que podríamos volver una y otra vez.

Taj Mahal tiene la mejor comida india que he probado, fuimos 5 de nosotros y pedimos Butter Chicken, Pollo Mango y tikka masala. Encima el local fue super bonito y buen servicio. El chef también habló con nosotros, tiene arte. Hemos gastado nada más que 15€ cada uno en comida y bebidas.

Wanted to try this place out and hasn't been possible. First I called to see if they take orders and deliver. I got told I could only order for home delivery via food apps like Just Eat or Uber Eats. I went to the app placed my order, chose to pay with cash and they wouldn't accept cash. So I give a 1 star review for your constant hurdles. Sort it out and you may attract more customers. You've lost one here

Genuinely found an insect in my food. This is a juvenile german cockroach nymph. This poses a serious health concern. The restaurant should be investigated.

Vinimos desde tarifa a cenar , porque ponía que estaba abierto , llegamos y sorpresa! Cerrado!! Creo que tendrían que poner bastante atención con los horarios !

Lamentable experiencia. Vinimos a comer un domingo y estuvimos más de una hora esperando que viniera la comida. Servicio pésimo. No repetiría experiencia. Nos marchamos después de esperar 1h y media a que nos sirvieran la comida. Resultó que habían dado nuestra comanda a otra mesa que había llegado más tarde pero no por esa tuvieron prisa en atendernos.
