If your visiting Gib, a must for me and my travel companions is always to visit Brunos. We have been going every year since 2017 bar the covid years and it's never a let down. While I've only eaten there a few times, it's night life atmosphere is incredible. If you want a club vibe or to relax under the night sky with music it does both! Would highly recommend.

Happy food and happy staff. Reasonably priced, not fine dining but wholesome hearty grub. Large external terrace, perfectly positioned on the marina boardwalk. Big internal restaurant good for events large social gatherings or smaller family parties. Happy hour 6 nights a week, the only way forward is Bruno's

Just had the crispy Panko burger with a spinach gratin side, my Mrs had the penne pollo picante special and OMG!! value for money 100!! Additionally Natalie (we think) served us and everything was even better! Coming back for the Sunday roast this weekend!

Saturday nights are fab. Great choice of drinks. Good music and it doesn't get too full as they monitor how many are in. Believe it does food but never eaten here. Separate area for birthday party etc.

Me and my wife had our Wedding reception here as we didn't get responses from the places we originally wanted. We are so glad we didn't as the staff here were nothing short of 'Exceptional'. We only had a small party of 19 but with a 3 course meal numerous bottles of wine and other drinks we paid well under £600 for the lot. Everything was done to make our day amazing. We have also come back most days for food and drinks as it is 'fantastic'. Thank you all for adding to our magical day. The only criticism I have is we have to leave. Thank you again Mr and Mrs Smith .

Nous sommes allés dans ce bar car je l'ai connu avec l'histoire du club des Bruno's Magpies, je trouvais ça donc drôle d'aller dans ce bar. Le cocktail était délicieux, le serveur souriant Dommage qu'ils ne vendent pas de maillots ou des accessoires du club, j'en aurais acheté, on se consolera en lançant une partie football manager avec le club de foot.

Our second holiday here in Gibraltar. Insisted to the wife that we visit Bruno's again. OMG this place is fabulous ! The food would put most Michelin starred restaurants to shame... it's not pretentious but tastes amazing and they don't skimp on the portions. Gonna come back tomorrow.. Food was very good and located by the marina with inside seats and outside seating. Appears to just be a sports bar/lounge but food was really high quality as well as being very reasonably priced.

I’ve had 3 meals over the past 3 days. Indian was £100 for 2 people, a high end restaurant in Spain was over £100 for 2. Today’s was under £20 for 1 at Bruno’s Bar and was the best quality food and ambiance by far! I highly recommend it. I left my wax jacket on my chair and one of the waiters immediately retrieved it for me. Great bar, great atmosphere, great service.

First time here and tried nachos with a couple margaritas. Our server, Alberto, was gracious and friendly, and he makes the meanist margarita we've had in a long time. Seriously, he makes a really good margarita! The nachos were pretty darn good too. We'll be back, especially for Alberto's margaritas!

First time here as it was recommend by a friend in Gibraltar. Staff are really friendly, when we went in it was very quiet for the time of year and day. We did have to wait a little bit for our food and so did the other tables however, the food was well worth the wait. We were hear in the day and I can see it being a very good spot for the evening and night. Toilets are limited so there would be a wait when its busy.

We visited this hip bar & restaurant which is located at the Ocean Village, just a stone's throw away from the Marina, Gibraltar's Airport and other popular attractions. We tried the following: 》Bruno's king prawn pil pil | A great way to start off our meal with these juicy king prawns with fresh chillies, cherry paprika tomatoes, garlic and white wine served with fresh bread. 》Fillet steak | This one was quite special and exceeded our expectations. Perfectly cooked steak served with grilled vine on tomatoes, chopped fried shallots, mushrooms and Bruno's skinny fries. The old-fashioned diane sauce on the side complimented the meat. 》Smoked chipotle rack of baby ribs | One of the best ribs I've ever had in recent memory! The meat was tender and seasoned well and the skinny fries that came with it was lovely. 》Tiramisu | Such a fab treat to end our night. It was rich but not too sweet which made it impossible to resist. 》Mojito (Lime, mint, syrup, rum, soda water) and Bombay Sapphire Gin (Fresh citrus and juniper flavours combined with a light spicy finish) | These refreshing cocktails packed a punch but were so enjoyable. Overall, an exceptional meal with impeccable service and they took care of us all throughout the night. Such a fun night, me and my husband had a real blast here - a must visit if you're in Gib!

Visited Bruno's every day during our recent week's holiday in Gibraltar. Unfortunately there was no chef so kitchen was closed. However, the bar had an excellent choice of drinks, 2-4-1 cocktails all day and happy hour from 4pm - 9pm daily The staff were brilliant, especially Lesley & Kayleigh Definitely a bar to visit in the Ocean Village area in Gib.

Sunday roast very good value. Meat cut well. Nice fresh vegetables, not overcooked, and all the trimmings. Excellent gravy. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this meal for only £8.95.

We visited Brunos whilst in Gibraltar. Location wise is really nice in the harbour, the decor inside the restaurant is modern, quite chic, even quite glam! The menu offers a decent amount of choice, the drinks are good and the ambience is quite chilled out. The music is modern/dance/lounge in the background which complements the venue. Recommended.

I like the location here with choices of inside and outside seating. You also get different vibes day through to night. They do good cocktails and usually have different deals. They have cider on tap which is my main draw. The food is varied and I've had good food here. They don't rush you out like some places. Even happy for a solo to take a table. Some places I've been they want you to sit at the bar if you're on your own

A great bar which is situated in Ocean Village. We sat outside on the sofas until about 2am on our first night with a great service from two of the bar staff. Drinks were cheap and cocktails were 2-4-1 at all times. A comfortable bar with music and both inside and outside seating areas. We came back here several times during our stay.

It's was pouring out and it was a Sunday afternoon about 2,30pm. 2 adults and 3 kids at the end of their busy lunch service. Staff were very accommodating. The food was terrific, with lots of vegetarian options.

Shouts out American diner for me. And being inside I'd say it isn't somewhere to go for food (there was a wedding after party going on when I went though!). Outside space is lovely for food. That said, the food is good stuff and there is a decent menu. Come before 6 or 7pm and it'll be quieter for food, otherwise its pretty loud and busy and better for drinks then.

Amazing Happy Hour with a plate of tapas thrown in! The only downside is the music can be a touch loud at times to the point you cannot carry out a normal conversation. The staff are great and friendly! Very popular with people living in Gib.

I normally don't order salad because it can be boring. But this wasn't an average salad - it was Rotisserie chicken ceasar salad and it was really good! Well seasoned, not sure if the croutons were made of foccacia but they were tasty. Salad was an even mix of meat, bread, leaves, dressing and cheese - perfect for a hot day :) my friend ordered fish and chips and apparently that was good too! Couldn't taste the alcohol in the cocktails tho...

Food was amazing after a long day in Gibraltar. Ordered loaded potato skins, cheese dip (name started with a “p”). Red chicken curry, carbonara and ribeye were good. The fish and chips, liver pate were passable.

The food was nice, although the garlic bread could be improved. It was a little dry and brittle. 2-4-1 cocktails all day, every day.

Sept21. New ownership apparently. Seems much quieter than before covid. Fish and chips was good, mint in the mushy peas was nice. spice on the fajitas was a bit odd, tasted Indian. Still nice and cool on a hot day.

This is the most unlikely place I would think of going for afternoon tea. I have been to many places in Gibraltar for afternoon tea, and it's usually a hit and miss affair, but Brunos seems to have got the balance and quality right. Not only is it a very pleasant restaurant to sit in the afternoon but the staff were amazing. Great customer service, and to give a little bit of perspective, the sandwiches were freshly made and cakes delicious. My favourite by far the brownie and cheesecake. They didn't get a 5 star from me because their scones didn't have a homemade feel and too sweet. Everything else was great.

Grilled salmon and the sunday roasts are amazing! Cheap beer on tap (Peroni was delicious). Cocktails also looked nice. Staff are also lovely and helpful. Downside is how loud the music is, even when sitting outside at 5pm on a Monday the music was too loud to have a normal conversation. Stopped us going in for a drink on multiple occasions. Also they didn't have any vegetarian main options available which was disappointing.

Food is excellent. The waiters are not very enthusiastic, that was on a sunday. And on tuesday after happy hour (so it wasn't busy at all) we just got ignored forma ages. Loads of staff, but just doing things and not paying atention to the customers. La comida excelente. Los camareros de la mesa tienen un pase, pero los de la barra estaban ordenando, limpiando...y nos ignoraron completamente. Parecían muy atentos a todo menos a los clientes.

It was very busy (national day) which would explain why we had to wait for over 90mins for food. The staff were rushed off their feet, but were cheerful, helpful and hardworking. They are a fantastic asset to this bar. The problem was with the kitchen. It might have been overwhelmed, but the meals we received were not as ordered. Elements were missing. Like eggs, onions, tomatoes from burger. One meal did not have a sauce, one salad had all its ingredients wrong apart from the salmon. By the time the meal arrived we were so hungry we ate it, but we did complain. They offered to replace the salad, but we couldn't wait another possible hour for that to arrive. They did not charge for that meal, offered us a discount and did not charge for all the drinks. The ambience was relaxed, but that changed when the DJ arrived and we could no longer even hold a conversation could not wait to leave. The staff were fantastic and they were let down by an overwhelmed kitchen.

At times l order from yourselves via hungry monkey. Though today l ordered mac & cheese and expected the right noodles for the dish not another type of noodles. If u offer a certain dish onc expects to get as you state on the menu not use a different ingredient. I already had a similar problem! Quite disappointed 😥

Young man said they were closed .. I went to bar and asked .. said no it’s ok . Last orders 10.30 pm this was 9.50pm . I felt victimised as being over 60. I reckon he was ageist.. other staff said no you are welcome. I told them he said you were closed. They were very apologetic. Come here for years but this annoyed me . Good job other waiters were lovely. He was the youngest here . Needs training. Bad for business. We then spent lots on cocktails. But could have walked off

Looks quite tired and out of place during the day, maybe it's more of an evening venue. Nice cold beer, but had to return due to cracked glass. Young lady who I presume was the manager/team leader managed to serve us without evening looking at us or speaking to us as she was talking to other staff, so didn't even notice the glass had a huge crack and chip on it. We found a nice little spot and there were 3 other customers, music set at just above background level so we could still chat. A song the staff liked came on and the volume went up to a ridiculous level while they all sang and had a great time - more fun than we were having so we drank up and left. It seemed as though the bar was open so the staff could have some fun, forgetting that there were customers there. The beer was nice though, won't return unfortunately.

I'd honestly give the service half a star if I could. Arrived at the bar during a quiet period, female staff member ignored me for 15 minutes plus before another staff member eventually served me. Ordered a Heineken on draught which has to be the worst tasting pint I've had anywhere on the globe in over 10 years. Horrific - could tell straight away the lines haven't been cleaned for a prolonged period. Thankfully I didn't eat here, but none of it looks promising.

Worst mohito I've ever had! It had rotten mint and also the bartender was kinda rude.

I've never posted a review before but on this occasion, I felt I must. We went for the ABBA tribute event last night. The act was superb, the staff were friendly but the food was frankly DISGUSTING!! Cold garlic mushrooms accompanied by MOULDY bread, chewy, boney seabass and cold mash for main, and finished off with a warm, sweaty cheeseboard for dessert. Simply the worst meal I've ever had in Gibraltar. They should be ashamed!

I would not recommend eating here. Ordered a burger. The bun fell apart, the meat was dry, bacon too salty and overcooked, fries oversalted. Both fries had a slight taste of some chemicals. Whoever cooked it must not be in catering business.

Shocking service wanted to order got told it was last orders and no cocktails was available. So had to order drinks I didn’t want for me and my partner as it was the only place open. To then see people still being served cocktails for over another hour. Paid £16 for 2 drinks I didn’t want and cocktails were on 2-4-1 offer. I complained to staff and they gave me 2 cocktails after and charged me even more money for them instead of just giving them
