The Seafood Tacos were delicious! My favorite were the Shrimps battered tacos and Stingray Taco! The Stingray looks simple but it needed nothing to add, it was very flavorful!
Best fish taco place in town. Being there 4 days, we went twice and we will come back. Decent portions and for the tacos there is a buffet with salad and sauces you can help yourself to.
Great taco place in La Paz! Great good with no fuss. The condiment bar has everything you'd need to customize the tacos. The grilled shrimp and fish quesadillas were also great hits with the kids. The playground in the back was another nice addition to the restaurant.
We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Claros Fish Jr. today! The food was truly delicious – we especially enjoyed the seafood dish baked in foil (the one with the octopus, shrimp, and fish was incredible!). Every bite was fresh and flavorful. But beyond the amazing food, the service truly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. It's clear they take pride in their food and their customers. We highly recommend Claros Fish Jr. if you're in La Paz and looking for a superb seafood meal with top-notch service!
This place has very good taco to choose from. I love their crispy fish and their octopus taco. The ceviche was very fresh and comes with large portion. They have a condiment bar in the middle restaurant for you to add any siding for your taco. Overall a great place to eat some cheap tocos.
Wow! We absolutely loved this place. They have so many different options for seafood tacos. We tried the scallop, crispy fish, and crispy shrimp as well as a shrimp empanada with cheese. It did not disappoint! Huge pieces of shrimp, freshest scallops I’ve had. The empanada was ridiculous almost the size of my forearm. The condiment bar was beautiful, so many different salsas, and veggies to make the tacos even better. We enjoyed it so much we ended up eating here twice. La Paz has been an amazing foodie trip we were not let down once which is quite rare.
Went here for lunch. They have an English menu. Ordered the grilled octopus with garlic, the beef hamburger, tropical ceviche, onion rings and lemonade. The ceviche was good and fresh. The onion rings were bit greasy and quite bland. The octopus was very flavourful but slightly too much butter/salt. The burger was decent. Overall, good experience. Nice chill vibes.
Excellent food. Good service and nice location. You can see the ocean from the terrace. The menu is quite large with a lot of choice. The seafood is fresh and super tasty. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the good service. After the meal you only walk 3 minutes into heart of the town and onto Malecon
We loved everything about this place! We visited here for the first time in April of 2024 and we liked it but this time we knew more of what to order and it was soooo good we ate there everyday we were in La Paz. There is just so much flavor in the food and we loved watching the sunset from inside the open restaurant. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.
The food is consistently good, and the topping bar is usually well stocked with a decent variety of options. They have lots of seafood options but also chicken and beef options, something for everyone and a good group pleaser. The service is alright but you will have to flag someone down when you want to order/pay. Great spot to take kids. Lots of food options and there is a small play structure for kids within sight of most tables. The handwashing station and bathroom are beside it.

We were escorted in by our driver and we were super happy. Real authentic food. Try empanada with Marlin and fish soul. But all the menu is attractive and very high quality. price is moderate.

Claro’s is always packed, the prices are good, food is delicious, lots of choices, and an ocean view. A local favorite for sure
No estuvo mal.
Se come delicioso.
Precios intermedios.
The food is great and we live the servers. The is location perfect...we are long time customers. But the new chairs are so uncomfortable and they leave red marks on your legs! Perhaps some chair pads would be helpful. I bring my own blanket!
The food, ambience, and drinks are good. Nothing over the top or extraordinary. They did have a salsa, toppings, and condiments bar. It was very good, but I have concerns for food safety. It wasn't very busy, but it might be a problem if the restaurant gets crowded. I would recommend that they have extra fans because it gets very hot in July. The servers were helpful, again, nothing extraordinary. The restrooms do need some upgrades. The restaurant does not have parking, but there is street parking available, sometimes. . If I were in La Paz again, I would choose another restaurant for a better view. Prices were comparable to other restaurants in the vicinity.
We visited for an early dinner after a long day traveling from the east coast of the US. Location is great, the restaurant has a non assuming character with affordable pricing. Seating was easily available. We started with margaritas- they were really nice and a big size without much added sugar or any weird orange flavors you sometimes get in the US. The lime flavor was perfect. The menu had many options but we chose using our local friend. I chose a taco paceño shrimp that locals favor. My wife had grilled octopus and grilled shrimp tacos. My empanadas were great. We also tried the onion rings but were a bit disappointed with the amount of oil… a large dish with too much oil can lead to discomfort later ;) The salsa bar had his selections for topping off the tacos. I heard that sometimes they have onion rings at that bar and maybe tasting one or two is enough. The main dishes were great, pricing was even better!! I highly recommend. 👍 if you find this useful

Great service, fresh food but No refried beans! Lol We preferred the grilled shrimp tacos over the local fish. Nice salsa condiment bar and view. Our first EAT stop in LP.
The food is good but the customer service is non existent. Our order was taken by a waitress colder than the beer that we drank. Our food was delivered and it was good. We ate and drank for about half an hour and not once did anyone come up to our table to make sure that everything was okay or to offer anything else. This is a place for tourists so you'll be paying for that. But I still felt that the prices were decent for the quality of food. I believe that the tips are pooled which is why nobody puts in the effort to go around the table they first assisted because the tip will be going to everyone either way. At least that's the vibe that I got from it. You can tell when a waiter has their own table and is trying to earn their tip. Which isn't happening here.

We ate shrimp tacos ( which were ok..) tuna, fish, chicken and steak tacos all of which were not good. There were a ton of Flies that we constantly had to swat at while trying to eat.
Normally we experience average service as it is a busy place. We have been going for two years....first time l need to make a complaint. Waited 20 minutes just to be acknowledged while people who arrived after us were already eating. Had to chase someone down to order. The beers came quickly — that was the only thing done right. We never received our food. After over an hour, we asked about it and were told it would be checked on. At that point, our beers were finished and we were done waiting. Paid for the drinks and left hungry. Unacceptable service. Would not return.
Food here is mediocre at best; the coconut shrimp breading was as hard as a rock. Nothing special about this restaurant other than its premium tourist location. The price reflects the low value too. Worst yet, the server would not hesitate to escalate a situation to ruin your vacation mood. It is not worth visiting at all. For better seafood or authentic experience, Mack-Fisher or Taqueria Los Prietos was worlds better.
