As a new comer to la porte, I've found myself trying all of the restaurants down Main street, chinese wok is by far my favorite! I highly recommend it to the citizens of la porte or any new comers as myself.The family is kind and wonderful 😊 the food is hot & awesome,never disappoints. I've been eating here at least once a week. I just thought I'd give a review as it's my new favorite spot!

Best egg rolls on the Southeast side of Houston. Hands down. Always hot, fresh and affordable. Cannot get them as often as I would like, but when in Laporte gotta do it.

Comfort food for My husband and I!! We were both impressed, I had the hunan and it was perfectly spiced, all the veggies I love. My husband had the Generals Tso and it was delicious! Crab puffs and the egg rolls were also great. We ordered late but theu still cooked it fresh ⭐️

I’m absolutely humbled to have been able to just come here and feel welcomed every time by the owner Mark and his staff. I’ve been coming for years, and they always put a lot of time and effort into the food they make here. Every time I have came here the food has always been fresh and hot. The portions are excellent and the prices are great. The atmosphere is very calm as-well. Always clean. If you need a repair on your phone done. I recommend Mark as-well. He did a great job on two of my iPhones. Screen protectors , he’s got them , cases ready to go. Thanks Mark!.

Absolutely Love this place! I had not been in a year since we moved houses but we had this last night and still freshly made. I do not mind waiting a couple of minutes for my food, at least I know its made fresh! Also the owner or the guy that is always there is super friendly and always very talkative. For reference we got the garlic shrimp, orange chicken, and broccoli beef ALL DELISH!

Chinese Wok drive-thru was quick and convenient, with food ready fast and fresh. The cheese puffs came out crispy and satisfying, while the General Tso’s chicken had a nice balance of flavor and heat. The shrimp meal was just okay, not as memorable as the other items, but overall the meal hit the spot for a fast Chinese takeout fix. Good option when you’re craving something tasty without a long wait.

Disappointed. I asked for hot mustard because I don't have any here. The bag was tied up, drove all the way home. Ate my soup first. And good. But then, I go for my hot mustard...none! I eat egg rolls with hot mustard. Disappointed./-:

If not they put it on the entree. Our sweet and sour was soggy by the time we got home. Asked for fried rice. Now i’m no cook but I know fried rice traditionally has some veggies (peas/corn/carrots/egg) in it. This was by far the least appealing fried rice I’ve ever had. It was literally yellow rice. Bland. No veggie. Nothing. Even found clumps of white rice mixed in. Maybe they were having an off night but it definitely left a lot to be desired.

I get a notification I've been given $3.92 credit for my next door dash order. The whole order was $90 bucks and I returned 3 whole entrees. He says there's nothing they can do about it and agreed I brought the food back for absolutely no reason. Don't waste your money here it's really bad and the service is even worse.

The chicken and broccoli had like 6 small pieces of chicken and the rest was vegetables. The orange chicken was way overcooked and seemed like they tossed it in the microwave, the sauce was chalky. The fried dumplings were okay but nothing special. The crab puffs were over fried, had very little filling, and tasted like wet dog. The egg rolls tasted fine but every bite had a mouthful of oil. Will never go back.

Hospitality is terrible here and they even charge for chopsticks. I’ve had twice where I paid for them, and they never even gave them to me lol that’s absurd. What Chinese restaurant actually charges for chopsticks? And then not to get them is like a slap in the face especially when you say something about it and then your sauce is all over your bag. Don’t waste your time go up the street it’s worth it. The food is mediocre. Chinese food anyways if I could give them less than one star, I would.
