I would not recommend the Locanda del Mercato. The only redeeming part of my time there was the focaccia tipo recco and their mojito. For a place named for local market goods, they should use fresh vegetables rather than canned goods (mushrooms, artichokes, and olives). The rest of the meal, while visually appealing was lacking in flavor. To say the dessert (tiramisu) was extremely disappointing would be an understatement, as it was inedible. Ristorante Locanda del Mercado was well below the expected quality for this location and price point.

So, the location is somehow in the center of the city, they have a terrace. I see that local people do not really like the place, but I ate ligurian swordfish, which was pretty good. You cannot complain about the price, I think is honest. One big minus is serving white wine at room temperature. Second is arguing with clients and in front of other clients. Well, they will NOT get a Michelin star, but you can eat here.

Not bad, but the pizza can definitely be found better, as well as the Aperolli Spritz cocktail, it turned out to be almost non-alcoholic, and why such a cocktail on holiday😁😁😁😁

The restaurant was ok. The taste of the of the food was good. The amount of food is relatively small. Unfortunately, the service was not so good. We had to wait around one hour for our food which is definitely too long.

The service was pretty good, house wine wasn't bad either, but for food, we got carbonara and it was awful, honestly.. no guanciale (just cheap ham), no pecorino (just tasteless cheese) and the pasta was way under "al dente". Basically tasteless food for mid to high prices.

The staff is lovey, but the food is awful. Do not eat here. My pasta was very salty. The shrimp were not cleaned and there were “legs” throughout the dish. Very few bits of courgette.
