Updated: still a great option for dirty dine-in or big to-go orders. Al pastor and chorizo great options. To-go comes with a pile of tortillas, couple salsas, pico, limes, cabbage, radishes. Order by the kilo of meat. Al pastor tacos were so good and awesomely cheap. Horchata was perfect sweetness.

Authentic Mexican restaurant with amazing horchata!

This is the OG for tacos!!! The pastor is unreal seriously. I’ve tried most taco stands and spots in town and this is hands down the most flavoursome and authentic.

Great tacos. Great price. Cash only. Open late. BYOB. Gets crowded during the in season. Not a whole lot of choices in the area, so, yeah-- I eat here a lot.

Good food! Also I recommend coming here your first night and get takeout. They will give you extra fixing, which are great for omelettes the next couple of mornings.

Delicious tacos!! I have loved coming to Paty's for years and love the new location. I recently had them cater the welcome night of my wedding weekend and they were incredible! They showed up on site and cooked everything there. Our guests would not stop talking about how delicious the tacos were!!

This little hole in the wall should not be missed! A mom-and-pop shop with absolutely delicious food. The soup that is served as a appetizer is one of the highlights, even though the main courses outshine it. There is nothing posh about this place, but that makes it feel all the more genuine. We ate at many restaurants while in La Ventana and La Paz, this place is unmatched for staff friendliness, warm-natured and prompt service. We joked as we left "hasta manana!".

I had an amazing reception at Taqueria Doña Paty. After a big day of travel I was treated with a big plate of veggies and grilled peppers to accompany my two tacos al pastor. Complete with as much pico de gallo, smoky salsa, and guacamole as I could ever dream of I really chowed down! The staff was wonderful as well and I am certain I’ll be back a few more times this week!

We loved this taqueria in la vantana 100% recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a local spot, some of the best tacos Al pastor! We also loved the super burro - one of the best we have EVER had!! Simple bean, cheese, meat and a HUGE delicious tortilla. Seems to be family run, everyone is cooking up a storm inside yummy smells and low-key atmosphere. Clean, street-side taqueria.

Best Al Pastor tacos in LV- hands down! This is a casual restaurant. That has the tastiest tacos with all the fixings- cabbage, radishes, cucumbers, pico de gallo, habanero salsa and an avocado salsa! We went here twice during my stay and I was not disappointed! Gluten and dairy free friendly!

The place in La Ventana for tacos. Their pastor was delicious but definitely get at least one tripa taco. Crunchy savory goodness. Choice of maize or flour tortilla. Comes with a guacamole salsa, a very hot red salsa, pico de Gallo, and a plate of accoutrements. Also had the Rico Huarache which was a large oval tortilla with beans, carne asada, pastor, cabbage, crema, cheese. Menu is inside along the wall where you can order and take a seat. 140p for the four tacos and 140p for the Rico huarache. Stop by if you see seats outside otherwise if there are no tables or seats it is closed.

You come for the food. Al pastor is great. The service is welcoming.

El lugar está sencillo como taqueria de la CDMX, por lo que te esperas un costo y sabor parecido, y el sabor lo cumple, la verdad si esta todo rico pero el costo es sumamente más caro, mientras que en la CDMX un taco de tripa te vale de 20 a 25 en este lugar vale 50, un taco al pastor en 40. En total por 4 tacos y un queso fundido $350. Aun así lo recomiendo por su sabor, la otra cosa que le critico es que se ve bastante sucio en varias de sus zonas.

Food was OK and good value. The kind of place you’re not sure whether you’ll be sick the next morning - but nobody was. Plastic furniture and roadside traffic ambience but hey, it’s La Ventana.

Este lugar siempre está super ocupado y los tacos son muy ricos, pero me decepcionó el hecho de que esperé alrededor de 40 minutos en una orden para llevar, cuando en otros restaurantes normalmente dan prioridad a las ordenes para llevar para que salgan rápido.

The food was good . How ever the price was better suited for a high end restaurant in Millan . $610 pesos for two burritos and two juices was a rip off . The place is filthy . The waittres had an attitude.

RIPPED OFF, GRINGOS BEWARE This used to be my favourite place to eat in La Ventana two years ago. It was a nice hole in the wall restaurant back then. The same meal for 4 people that used to cost me $500- $600 pesos, was $1500 Last trip we ate here every other day and i was seriously looking forward to this place prior to my trip but I won’t be returning here ever again

Used to love this place when it was off the street, we would come here almost every day for the excellent flavours. When discovering the new location it was nice to chat with the staff about it and see the excitement however at the end we were shocked by an absurd bill. They most definitely ripped us off for the hell of it. Used to cost 100 pesos per person, we were charged 300.
