The food and service was great. I arrived at 5:30 pm and they said it was happy hour and gave me $2 off my meal. That was cool considering that I drank water with my dinner. I had the chicken kabobs with hummus and shirazi salad. Pls excuse spelling if I am mistaken on the salad. Everything was very good.

Great food unlike other Mediterranean restaurants I've been where the kabobs are dry, this place was very tasty the chicken kebabs were moist and the salad is great!! I forget the exact name of the salad but it's a must.

Delicious, HOT, great rice with the vermicelli... Hummus was a good consistency compared to others that taste refrigerated all day. Chicken was moist and the beef kabob was cooked. Taboule was better second day :) We will be back soon! Everyone should give it a try. Thanks!

Their pita chips are THE BEST!!! I like to dip them in the garlic sauce & hummus. The yogurt sauce is good. The ground beef kabob is excellent, as are the grilled veggies. I want to try the chicken kabob next time.

I am a Chef and owner of my own business as well as being the Author of 6 cook books. That being said, Argo has some if the very best Hummus I have ever tasted. Very creamy, and not gritty in any way. I have been to Greece 4 time and spent one summer in Athens. They have nothing on how Argo makes their Hummus. My only request to the Chef and owners of Argo, is please offer some Slavoki, either Chicken or pork, ...please.

Wait time is a bit longer than most, but it's because they cook fresh to order and it is so worth the wait. Best hummus around. I always order it as a separate side because it's so delicious. Chicken kabob plate with tzatziki and hummus or chicken salad is my go to dish because the chicken is always cooked to perfection. The lamb is also great. Falafel is hit or miss for me, some days it's good, and some it's been better. I highly recommend eating here!

Update 10/09/2019: The food is as delicious as ever, and they've added combinations to the plates - you can get mixed lamb, chicken or beef!. We've been coming here at least once or twice a month for about 3 and a half years. If I could, I would give this wonderful place 6 stars. Prices are very reasonable and discounted during happy hour too! The kabob plates are generously portioned and the ingredients are always fresh. The meats are very savory, with super tender lamb and chicken. We both agree, the lamb is the most tender and flavorful we've tasted, bar none. I like the roasted tomato and pepper side dish. My wife likes the tzatziki. The humus is tasty too. The rice pilaf is great and plentiful. We're waiting for our dinner as I write. Atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful with easy listening contemporary Greek music and a very friendly staff. The slightly long wait is worth the freshly prepared results!

Solid place...good food and price. Portions larger than average.

My son and daughter in law brought me here as a Mothers Day Gift and it was my first time eating Mediterranean food and it was EXCELLENT, I enjoyed every bite and the place was nice and clean and the staff were very nice and attentive. I will recommend this place to others and I will return to eat here again.

I ordered over the phone for pick up. When I got there they said they burned the chicken for my order so they had to make it again. Other people that got there as I got there got their food first. I'm 100% sure they forgot to put in my order. I'll probably still eat there cause the food is great nonetheless.

Came here randomly for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I like Mediterranean food and tend to favor the Iranian kabobs, like Koobideh and Soltani filet mignon. This place is Armenian and has their versions which are also good. The chicken kabobs were juicy and marinated well. All the different sides we got were delicious. The only thing that was little dry was the beef Lule...the Iranian version beef Koobideh is usually juicy and seasoned very well. I would definitely eat here again.

Decent Mediterranean food location. Chicken kabobs are good, rest is okay. Garlic sauce/paste is okay, have had worse, but have had so much better. Pita served is always hard, can't understand why. Restrooms are fine, location is tolerably clean. Parking is okay. Entrance, counter, seating, and restroom are accessible.

5 stars for the food. We have tried most of the Mediterranean food in our area and as far as taste and flavor, it's now one of our favorites. 2 stars for dinner service. We waited 25 minutes to get the chicken kabob platter and a salad. I've machine broken and there was only 2 other tables with customers. This is not a fine dining place that justifies a 25 minute wait. You order at the counter and the meal is served on styrofoam plates and you clear your own table. Not a huge deal except for the wait and the tip. FYI 15% is the lowest amount on the iPad screen for a tip. Next time we will see if there is a no tip option and leave a few bucks at the table, or just call it in. I can't see making Argos one of our frequent dining options. It's really too bad because it is also close to work and we eat out everyday for lunch.

Has zero feel of a Mediterranean restaurant. The refab from what was Mexican decor remains and sort of removes the authenticity. Will say the hummus, lebne, and falafel are tasty yet is the only dish I order and it is good. With each visit however, the soda dispenser drain is visually soiled, plugged, and not draining. If this is not clearly maintained... is then the food at the same level? Would be suitable to experience a Mediterranean feel unless a Mexi-Medi is what the owner is trying to portray but then the menu displays only as Medi. Confusing.

This was the MOST EXPENSIVE average chicken kabob sandwich meal I have ever had. It was $17 for tortilla chips and a chicken wrap. It's outrageous!

They say they're open until 8:00pm. I got there at 7:45 and was told that kitchen was already closed. I used to work at a restaurant and we did not operate that way. For us closing time was 9:00pm. Kitchen would make food until closing time and then stay to clean after closing time. I was going to order to go by the way.

I don't know if people around Pomona have never tasted good Mediterranean Food, but this, ain't it chief. We ordered this to our workplace, about 6 plates of food. Each and every person decided it was bad. Saving grace is rice. I wish I could've liked this. Also, there was no spicy hummus, and regular hummus was serviceable. The common sentiment is "unhappily full"

I had a rep bring me Hummus and chips from Argo and loved them, so tried to call in an order on 1/7/20, at which time I was directed to place the order through MenuStar, which I did. My order clearly stated I wanted chips, but when I got home, saw that no chips were provided. When I walked in on 1/9/20 @ 1:30 pm, to order another item and ask for free chips, I was treated incredibly rudely by the young girl manning the register. She did give me the chips, but WOW, if one of my employees was ever spotted being this rude, they would be terminated immediately. I was never rude or demanding to her and her behavior was 100% unwarranted. She acted so strangely, it made me wonder what happens behind the kitchen door....Yikes! I doubt I will return.

The food was absolutely unremarkable, except for a long hair in my rice, and tasteless. Cheap, manufactured, dry as cardboard, pita served cold. An embarrassing disappointment since I suggested to have lunch the with a friend.

I decided to go in person (praying they were busy) but saw no one inside. I literally called while watching the worker do nothing and still no one picked up.
