Went to Melt at Spectrum Promenade-no fireworks, just food. Burger’s solid: patty juicy enough, cheese melts right, bun doesn’t fall apart. Fries are crispy, not drowning in salt. Place looks like a diner with decent lighting, nothing fancy, nothing grim. Worth grabbing if you’re nearby.

The Melt is one of my top unique places that I would recommend. The food here is high quality with good flavor. The options to choose from are unique and worth every penny. The service here was top notch I was very impressed with how kind all the staff members were from the lady taking my order to the kitchen staff they were all so friendly. It seems well managed and a very clean kept place. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something new and unique to try.

This place has the best melt cheese sandwich and Mac & cheese. The Mac and cheese is a must order and comes with a good amount of food. I have tried their crispy chicken sandwich and melt cheeseburgers. The chicken sandwich was alright but the cheeseburger was really good, it is nice they have free add on lettuce, onion and tomatoes. We also enjoyed having the food outside under the trees.

**Best Grilled Cheese Sandwiches in Town!** I’ve been a loyal customer for 8-9 years, and this place just keeps getting better! Over the years, they’ve updated their interiors, creating a modern and chic vibe that matches their fantastic menu. They’re always adding new items, and there are plenty of delicious vegetarian options, which is a big plus. Our favorites? The cheesy fries are *to die for*, and all the grilled cheese options are perfection. The mac and cheese is pretty decent, too. If you’re into plant-based choices, the burger with imitation meat is a must-try! In my opinion, this is one of the best fast-food spots at Irvine Spectrum, loved by both kids and adults alike. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality comfort food!

Overall a good burger and experience. I've been here multiple times with myself and about 15 people. My favorite is the Swiss and shroom burger, it reminds Mr of a juicy butter burger from Culver's but better. The bbq melt bacon burger is another one of my favorite here. I wish they would put a much of the French onion on there as pictured but from here on it I guess I will simply ask for extra. Consistency in every burger is what would earn them 5 stars on the food aspect. A few times the burger wasn't seasoned and another time the burger was dry. I think they do a better job than the cut burger in Irvine. Milk shakes we tried are vanilla and cookies and cream. They are watery in flavor but have a good consistency. They seem more on a blushes side instead of a creamy fairy milk side. Definitely needs improvement. Fries have always been on point for me. Sweet potato, garlic fries or regular fries are delicious. They offer craft fountain drinks a step up from the coffee and Pepsi products. Customer Service is friendly. When tables need cleaning they are very prompt to cleaning it for you. Helpful and kind when taking your order. The monitors never give you attitude like Lola in the front. Jordan prompted me to write a review for some milk shakes. Atmosphere it's casual, but they could do better on diner and patio upkeep- cleanliness. Sweeping, wipping tables, fountain drink machine area and patio cleaning needs attention. They could be more proactive in this department. Small indoor dining. Bigger patio dining and there are tables and chairs beyond the melts patio dining. Not filthy gross cause I keep coming back.

Grilled cheese was very yummy, it comes with a pickle which was okay i don’t really like pickles but i was flattered. The workers are very nice, and there are water cups available next to the soda machine. my roomate with me which was fun, she got the same thing. Anyway, good talking to you google. I love you. Bye.

Delicious food in a very crowded restaurant. Outdoor seating is convenient, employees very friendly. They got my order wrong and quickly corrected it in a very kind showing of excellent customer service! Large portions. Would recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Chocolate malt was mediocre, adding syrup to a vanilla shake isn’t the same. Next time I’ll try the vanilla one.

The melt offers some extremely tender burgers in the vicinity, mouthwatering and eye opening burgers. Honestly I would say the price reflects the quality, you're getting a burger plus fries which cost extra that is comparable to some other burger joints, but according to the workers here this is made with Wagyu beef. On a busy day in the spectrum be prepared to wait more than 20 minutes for your food, the fries were seasoned amazing, I should have asked for some salt on the burger it was a tad on the bland side. Never the less tender and packed full which I love! It's a small inside, you'd be lucky if you got a seat, but like the spectrum provides, there's always outdoor tables you can find. Our search for something cheesy did not disappoint when we came across The Melt. Their mac and cheese is mouth-watering with a crispy breadcrumb topping. The burgers and fries are delicious too but the mac and cheese definitely stole the show for us. Visiting from South Africa the pickle was a fun little addition.

First time eating here and it was very delicious! I purchased the Melt Burger and it tasted freshly made with loads of cheese. My only feedback was that the last few bites were very salty, like there were pockets of unmixed salt in the patty. Despite that, definitely eating here again! (Also, Jarhed is great! Gave me and my friend a free shake and cookie!) ☺️

Haven't been here for a bit but glad I came back. Nice grilled cheese spot but I'm sure people go for their burgers now more than before. Well, I went old school and got a 3 cheese grilled cheese, I added back but for $2 it's not worth it. The sandwich had a score for 7.9/10, crunchy outside, soft and cheesy on the inside. The cheese blend fit each other well. I ordered the garlic Parmesan fries and I gobbled these all up! High marks at 8.6/10. Get these for sure! Location was nice but small. Seemed clean and the staff seemed nice. You will have little interaction with them. The outside seating is premium. I would visit again.

I was actually surprised that this place had some pretty good burgers at a reasonable time. Given the other burger options nearby, I feel the money was decently spent here and the wait was not too long. I ordered a melted bacon cheese burger and added the free tomato and lettuce to my burger. My friends ordered the melt sandwich and garlic fries, and based on how they devoured it, it looks like they were satisfied as well. It also looks like every order came with a half long sliced pickle, even the fries. I wouldn't mind coming back to have The Melt the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

The good was good overall, but I am disappointed in my chicken jalapeño sandwich. I got it lettuce wrapped and either they need to dry their lettuce more or they need use different lettuce because my entire sandwich fell apart immediately. It was nearly impossible to eat my hand. I ordered it to go so I couldn't even knife and fork it because my bad didn't come with any. The tomato soup was INSANELY DELICIOUS though. I loooved it. The grilled cheese bites to go with the soup is NOT WORTH THE MONEY...it was insanely dry and just tasted like old bread. The grilled cheese was sooo yummy as well. The pickles are freaking awesome.
