They have a very solid latte, with a strong, slightly bitter espresso. I also loved to see Vietnamese coffee on the menu. They have lots of food options but limited seating (mainly just a couple of tables outside). The avocado toast was really yummy, made with a thick sourdough slab of toast, just how I like it.

Drink came out quick and was really good. Got the VTM Tiger. Didn’t need to ask for any changes or substitutes. Love how the drink is like a mix of a brown sugar boba and coffee. It’s also located close to parking if you use the target parking lot. Stopped in real quick before a road trip and it was perfect.

Specializes in Vietnamese coffees(VTM). Which are high in caffeine if you need an extra kick and sweetened with condensed milk and cream. Great coffee over ice, a bit on the sweet side. If you you’re looking for a little less caffeine, light is your best option (VTML).

We ordered a Vietnamese coffee and a Spanish latte. The Vietnamese coffee was good. On the other hand, the Spanish latte had too much ice and milk. Even after adding an extra shot, it still tasted diluted because there was so much milk and ice. The price wasn’t cheap, so it was disappointing.

I have mixed feelings. For me, one of the main roles is played by the drink. The latte was disgustingly bitter. To make it mild and flavorful, do the following: 1) Good beans should have no bitterness, use 1 espresso shot for the drink. 2) If it is very bitter, change the grind, it should be coarser. And the serving size for 1 shot should be 10 grams, use a scale. 3) Clean the machine after a change and make sure to clean the holders. Then your coffee will be of good quality and people will be attracted to you. To know if the shot is good, make a couple espressos, it should be sour but not bitter. Good luck

we visited right before sunset and were happy that there was actually no line! we chatted with the cashier as to which coffee would be best and were told to try the "mojito" and to get it a bit less sweet. it was a perfect choice! this is the coffee shop to stop at in the spectrum and walk around with to enjoy the views.

The menu is on 12/25/2022. My husband and I want to try the honey bee latte and the matcha latte for him. But the taste is not too sweet. So I have to tell them I need more sugar. I want to try the Honey bee latte so I ask the waiter for Suggest. And she said it will be spicy for the taste. It really does.

This is the second time something like this has happened where I place my order at 7:20am the app says it'll be ready around 7:35am and I end up getting my drink after having to scope it out myself and thankfully my food was ready too at 8am making me now late for work. The only reason these things have happened is because they end up getting a massive order and fall behind. Myself and 5 others waited patiently for drinks to be made but what I noticed is that they make their drinks and just shelve them. I have no idea how much extra time I waited when I didn't need too. They need to call out names for pick up as well as Blk Dot Corp PLEASE set a limit as to how many drinks can be placed for pick up or employ more people to work in the morning for a rush like this. It is unfair to the 3 people working handling what looked like an order of over a dozen drinks and food on top of the others like mine. When I'm paying $25 for a breakfast bowl and a small coffee I know there can be at least one more person working to help handle these things.

I’ve been to this location before. It’s pretty average for coffee. This time around I decided to try the matcha. I’m waiting in line and the people who work here are not customer oriented. I understand it’s a busy environment but not friendly. I ordered the matcha, and I had already left before drinking it, but the matcha is poor quality or spoiled. It smelled like fish. The matcha has been oxidized or it’s old. Poor quality for the branding on this business. I’m not sure how you can charge $8 for a coffee when quality is around $2. Nothing premium about this.

I was really surprised during my last visit. I had the “Tiger” coffee and was so disappointed. The drink was extremely sweet — I honestly couldn’t even finish it. I ended up throwing it away, which I almost never do. I read so many good reviews about it, but all I could taste was sugar and chocolate. I couldn’t taste any coffee at all. It was just way too much. Definitely not what I expected. 🙁

We were two people, and let me tell you, my cup was left about one-fifth empty. They could fill it, but they clearly don’t care. The quality of the coffee was terrible. Honestly, they’re stingy on purpose, serving half-empty cups like it’s acceptable. And for what they charge compared to somewhere like Starbucks or Coffee Bean, it’s absolutely not justified. Avoid this place completely.

This place is trash. We went to BLK.Coffee at Irvine Spectrum Drive, and the quality of the coffee was awful. The vibes were non-existent, the cups were tiny, and they didn’t even fill them up properly. On top of that, the price was nowhere near justified for what we got. Posting this as a warning, don’t waste your time here.

This place is a scam. Please don’t come. This matcha is already 8 dollar but they said we need to pay extra to top off. Never been to any drink place at oc that’s like this. I make better matcha at home.

See the photo for how much drink you get when you order with the “less ice” adjustment. Topping off the drink is an extra charge. Lack of explanation prior to purchase that I would be getting half the amount of liquid that can fit in the cup. Beware!

i ordered a matcha einspanner: whole milk, no cocoa powder during a small rush (6 people). when i received my order there was cocoa powder, which is fine, i can just ask to get it remade (note: it’s on the receipt and the station ticket that i asked for no cocoa powder). i waited until after the rush to let the barista know that i actually asked for no cocoa powder on my matcha einspanner (i haven’t touched the drink at all) because i understand how chaotic it can be with customers requesting from the side bar and still trying to buss out drinks. when i asked for it to get remade, i asked if it was possible if i can get less sweet on it as well. she said yes! the barista proceeded to remake the drink but i didn’t appreciate how there was no use of scales to measure out the matcha brew and when i received my remade drink order, the latte was noticeably paler in color and significantly milkier than my previous one. when i tried the drink, i will be honest i tasted straight milk (keep in mind i ordered with whole milk). i also didn’t taste any sweetener at all and i asked for less sweet instead of unsweetened, so i returned to get clarified whether less sweet meant no added sweetener and she said “yes it’s sweetened by the cream top”. i usually wouldn’t object but the cream top didnt taste sweet at all, there was noticeably less matcha in the remade drink, it tasted of straight milk, and the barista’s service just felt a little off-putting when throughout the process of asking to get my drink remade. as a barista i also understand how inconvenient it can be when a customer requests a drink remade, but i am always more than happy to remake a drink that i personally made a mistake on. in this case even though the barista may have accidentally added cocoa powder, i felt disrespected, turned away too quickly, and shamed for wanting my drink remade correctly. as much as i enjoy the yuzu mango matcha latte, this experience has made me uncomfortable and i wish there was more compassion from the barista making the drink, especially as i was trying to be considerate and even asking for the request after the rush.
