Luca Trattoria Pizzeria is a local favorite known for its fresh, delicious food and generous portions. Many reviewers rave about the pizza and eggplant parm. The service is generally attentive and friendly, though it can get very busy, especially on Friday nights, leading to parking issues.
Tip: Go! Don't miss out. It gets very busy, so be prepared for potential parking issues.
I had food delivered for my sister’s family. They loved it.
Ordered take out tonight and food was great and customer service was top notch!
App works well. Food is excellent. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area.
I love this place, fresh real pizza, amaizing lasagña, and great customer service.
Stopped here for a slice of pie after we got to town for a funeral. This pizza was VERY good. We will definitely be back when we are in town again. Crust was perfect.
Don't let the strip mall location stop you from having a fantastic gourmet treat! When you enter, the aromas are the first thing you will experience. BUT, this is not just pizza. Keep walking, there is a lovely room beyond the Pizzeria. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and perfectly prepared dinners. Portions are HUGE...you will definitely enjoy another meal at home with your leftovers.
We Take out and dine in. Pizza is the best in town by far. Best sausage too. Nothing like getting a hot fresh pizza from oven to table. But take out is great too. Dine in dinners are delicious and generous in size! Favorites are lasagna, eggplant parm, chicken parm & sometimes the specials. They also have a nice selection of Gluten-free dinners. Wait staff has always been friendly & efficient. Frequent flyers will be returning.
I used to love Luca's when they were in Oakland, NJ. Being in Warwick recently, I insisted we order and see if my favorites were still as good as I remembered. We were blown away! The baked stuffed clams were amazing and done to perfection. We got a large cheese and mushroom pizza just so I could take some slices back home - from the first bite I realized it was the same beloved favorite pizza I remembered with a slightly sweet tomato sauce and a perfect crust and the right amount of mozzarella cheese cooked to perfection! The shrimp francaise was outstanding...huge shrimp in a delightful delicate sauce and too many for me to finish! So worth the 45 minute ride for me to go back again and again!
Love going here. Service is amazing food is amazing and the owner is always behind the counter working and helping. Best pizza around.
This is a really great Italian returant. Been there several times, and have never been disappointed. They have a gluten free menu, and they are very conscientious about their gluten free meals. If you're in the area you should try them.
First time delivery. It was as delicious as eating in the restaurant
First rate food. Counter service was great. Employee Tim behind the counter keeps things moving with minimal wait times.
wanted to try a new pizza spot and I'm so glad I did! friendly service, their pizza and garlic knots are delicious! I'll be coming back to try their entrees next! 🍕😋
Excellent service. One of the best tasting pizzas in the area.
Super friendly staff and great interior. Will definitely come here again, its hard to find good pizza!
I ordered my food for pick up and it was still hot when I picked it up. I love this place. The staff are wonderful and the food is great.
I have been eating in and taking out food from Luca pizzeria for about 5 years now. I eat there at least once a week. I was not once ever disappointed! Everything is always fresh, good tasting ,authentic flavor and remarkable menu specials! I encourage everyone to go there You will not be disappointed!!! I want to add at the end of the day if you're looking for great food it's not expensive... It's priceless! To the owners and staff of Luca pizzeria I want to commend you and thank you for your services and delicious authentic cuisine! God bless! Ron B
I always enjoy going to Luca’s! Peter and the crew always take good care of me, and we love the pizza! The other day Tim told me to try the white pie with spinach and garlic – delicious!! Keep up the great work!
Ordered a chicken Francese with penne, garlic knots and personal pie. This was easily the BESTT takeout meal I have had in a long time. The chicken francese was cooked to lemon butter PERFECTION, garlic knots were toasted beautifully and the pizza was fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an all around great meal.
I think the food is great. Pizzas always come out how we order them, the salads are always fresh and delicious. The service is exceptional, they go above and beyond! 10/10 - Don't trust anyone who says otherwise!
Best spot in Warwick - I’ve never had a bad meal here - for the price everything is fresh and flavorful - service is always great!
This place is awesome, from the owner to the staff. They truly treat you like family. Go there you'll not be disappointed
Best pizza this area service is good too I love this place
I've come to live this pizzeria establishment. I have eaten from here less than a handful of time, and each time I was completely satisfied with the food. Pizza and garlic knots has been my thing, but going forward I'm looking to explore other items on the menu. The location is perfect for grabbing a quick bite after shopping, it's well maintained, clean and offer outside seating. Service is always on par, orders are accurately taken and your food is ready when scheduled. I'll definitely be back.
Hands down, my favorite Italian Restaurant in the area. Been here three times and haven't had a bad meal yet. The servings are huge without sacrificing quality or taste. Haven't had the pizza yet, but the entres are delicious. There are always specials to consider. It gets very busy on a Friday night and the wait for your food it's definitely too long, but I still can't complain. Just be conscious of what time you pick up your food or dine in. I saw people waiting for food for 30 minutes. It's inconspicuous in the strip mall of ShopRite, but don't be fooled. The food is great! BYOB
Placed a takeout order at Luca Trattoria and I was very pleased with the service and my meal was delicious Will definitely order again
This place probably has my favorite eggplant parm and penne vodka ever! The sauce is just perfect! Another absolute favorite is the calamari which comes with the most amazing lemon sauce. Really excellent service even though it was very busy, they were very attentive and friendly! Will definitely be coming back again and again!
The food and service was AMAZING !!!!!! If you want REAL Italian food, this is definitely the place to eat. I highly recommend you try this place for dinner
OMG what a wonderful place!!!! Not only is the staff incredibly nice but the pizza and dessert are amazing. I ordered a regular cheese slice and a veggie slice, both were amazing!!! The slices were fresh, delicious, and barely any oil like most pizzas I’ve had. The real winner for me was the Cheesecake!!! I have never had a more delicious cheesecake and will definitely be telling friends and family. This place is a must!!!!! P.S the food was so good I didn’t get a chance to take before or after pictures.

As a nonlocal, the staff was warm and welcoming. They knew their customers well and treated them like family. The pizza was absolutely delicious! We haven't had a slice on a whim like that in a long time and actually enjoyed it. We will definitely stop back in again when back in the area!
This was our second visit. The dinners were delicious. Portions very generous. Ordered a few appetizers to share. Antipasto was great. Wait staff very attentive we did not feel rushed!! Will definitely go back.
Great local pizza with a NYC taste. Peter, the owner, is always working hard and creating a wonderful experience for dining. They have a cozy room in the back for eating in, and the staff is pleasant and courteous.
The only issue is parking because they are always busy, and for good reason. This is one of our favorite restaurants. If you haven't eaten there or ordered out, GO! Don't miss out.
Love this place. Food is always fresh and delicious. Best pizza around Warwick.
They followed my instructions for a well-done plain cheese pizza (which for some reason most don't), I like a little char and a crispy crust. The pizza was good, the salad, plenty for our family of 3 we had enough left for tomorrow. The garlic bread was set-up strange (it tasted good) but was kind of weird, I was expecting an Italian bread partially sliced with oil garlic maybe some oregano or basil and cheese, but we got a circle of overlapping baguette slices very lightly oiled, a little garlic and a bit of cheese, the overlapping left some slices half dry. This is the first time we got it this way from them and I prefer the old fashioned way. Otherwise, really good food as usual.

My favorite pizza in the area. Portnoy would probably give it a 7.7. Its a high end football pizza.
We had Caesar salad, Margherita pizza, and half cheese / pepperoni. The salad was too spicy for me (croutons), but the pizzas were delicious. The young employee was nice and attentive.
Food was delicious. Friendly service. A basket of warm bread is served with your meal but No salad. Overall good experience and quality food.

Food was good as usual. Would have been 5 stars but if I’m paying $4 to add a topping, I would hope that the topping would be in every bite. It was basically a plain pizza with sausage intermittently added. There was one slice that had one piece of sausage.
Food was excellent, service was good. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was that we pre ordered for a specific time, their system went down and we had to wait 45 minutes for them to make our order when we arrived.

Service was good , restaurant needs better ac whole place felt muggy , arms where sticking tot he table. Food is outrageously over priced ... 37 DOLLARS FOR 2 WRAPS AND 2 ICED TEAS. Ordered 2 grilled chicken wraps with fresh mozzarella , lettuce tomatoes and onions oil and vinegar with salt and pepper , wraps were small and tasted like they didn't have any condiments on them wraps didn't even come with fries for that kind of money. Definitely will not be returning.
UPDATE 07/26/2025 (3 stars): Overall quality of food and service has taken a hit over the past few years. Whether the turnaround of counter help or the higher demand for pizzas and food, the overall experience is less consistent than it used to be. (+) There still are more than a handful of people working at Luca who are exceptionally polite and helpful to the customers and patrons who show up for good food and service; some, even going out of their way to accommodate hungry customers' requests/needs, especially if there are kiddos involved. (-) Some of the staff appear friendly, but don't give equal attention/care to the food or customers as others do. To that end, after popping in for a few slices (Sicilian and 2 plain), the staff manning the oven got to work tossing in my slices; however, he was more interested in socializing with his female coworker than heating the pizza. Before I was finished paying, he had my slices on the counter, boxed and ready for take away. What seemed like good service actually was the opposite because, arriving home 5 minutes later, come to find that all 3 slices were cold and not heated through (though I'm not sure what I was expecting after a 60-second oven trip). A disappointment of a meal, for sure, and a reminder of why Luca no longer is my go-to for pizza, despite its closer location to home. Consistency is king and this is the most recent experience at Luca that echoes similar episodes of the past. If they can pull it together, it would help the customers gain confidence in the quality of food and service that we hope to receive each visit. (OG post, 4 stars): Small, quaint little joint for authentic Italian recipes. Pizzas were on point, too! Fresh, delicious, and tasted great!
Stopped in for a late dinner. Large portions and flavorful. Great waiter. Eggplant parm was a bit chewy but tasted good. The Margarita pizza was full of fresh basil.

The waitress brought me clams in white sauce.I ordered it in red sauce. Then, she came back to the table and questioned me. I know what I ordered and everyone at the table said I ordered the.Red sauce. Then, they dumped red sauce on top of the clams.Rather than giving me a new one. To make things worse, the clams were very sandy.

The catering was terrible! We bought a tray of lasagna for Christmas for about $125. When we got home, we noticed that is was thinly sliced pieces with no cheese on top or any sauce. We had dry meat and noodle sandwches. We took pictures and showed them to the manager who said he'd like to refund our money, but would have to check with the owner. He said he'd call the following day. Over a week went by and he didn't call. I stopped in and he said the owner would comp our next meal. I called today to make sure they had our name down and was told they would only comp two entrees. This hardly sounds like the appropriate thing to do, considering we had to serve a crap Christmas dinner that cost a lot. **Response** We did NOT get cheese or sauce. The lasagna pieces were put in the tray on their side. I spoke to Tim, the manager, today and two other times (not a counter girl). We gave every opportunity for you to make ths right.
The pizza came out way before our appetizers. Our pizza was soggy and mushy. It made me nauseous. When we finally got our appetizers, the mozzarella sticks were undercooked, the clams were absolutely disgusting, and the rice balls smelt and tasted like vomit. Service was terrible, not checking up on us and forgetting about our food, so when we got it, it was cold. PLUS, it was over 70$ for a pie and 3 appetizers. I'm never going back.
Ordered 3 pies and wings for company. One pie was broccoli and onion and 2 cheese. We received 1/2 pies with onion. None of the pies were cut. I called to let the restaurant know. The manager called but at this point I was not going back and upset. I would have given -one star. Very disappointed.
Seen reviews of this place and wanted to try have to say it’s not good if you know good Italian food. I had chicken parmigiana because did. It want anything fancy and so simple to make but it was a joke all little pieces combined under the mozzarella rigatoni on the side was soggy and hardly any sauce. My Wife had a veal also horrible we left most of the food behind. Baked clams not sure what kind of sauce but nothing like I’ve ever seen. we also noticed how greasy the floors were and tables and everything. I Had to walk slowly from the bathroom to the table from the grease that was on the floor. You want good Italian food go to Franklin New Jersey and go to Apula. On another note that rushing you to get out of there, they won’t let you order an appetizer first you have to put the whole order in.

Got take out!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Don’t bother to waste your money go to Domino’s Pizza. You’ll get better there!!!! What a flipping rip off! Got a so called eggplant parm barely any sauce and one little piece of mozzarella cheese on the burnt bread! I’d say that’s worth $57 wouldn’t you?
