Natraj's Tandoori is a long-time favorite known for its delicious Indian food, generous portions, and great value, especially the combo plates with large naan. Some find the quality inconsistent or the food too salty, and a few report undercooked meat.
Tip: The combo plate is a great deal with large portions, especially the naan. Be aware that some dishes may be inconsistent in quality or too salty.
Dinner for 6 was taken to-go. Had chicken tikka masala, rice and samosas. Food was served hot with good flavor and remained warm in aluminum carrier after driving home. Lots of sauce to serve chicken over rice. Half shallow of rice and a second of chicken served 6. Samosas had two types of sauce, the red one was sweet, the green was spicy and savory. Atmosphere has echo inside, so if it is not cold, better to eat on patio; otherwise, it's warmer and convenient to eat inside. Prices are reasonable, although samosas are a little expensive >$5 each. Discovered that takeout meals don't include naan bread, there is an upcharge. Service was fairly fast, line moved quickly. Restaurant is popular for Indian food.
We’ve been customers of Natraj’s Tandoori in Foothill Ranch for quite a few years, and it has consistently been a great experience. The food is always delicious and full of flavor, with generous portions that make it well worth it. The quality has remained excellent over the years, and the customer service truly stands out—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every time. It’s one of our go-to spots and highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food in the area.
Had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The service was excellentand attentive. A truly pleasant place to enjoy a great meal.
They were really patient with me. It was my first time having Indian food and I enjoyed my experience. Some of the food was really fresh the other ones they might been reheated not a big deal but the chicken was cold around the edges and the middle the bread was really to die for super fresh and crispy. I’ll definitely eat here again
Great portion size and value for money. You could get 2 meals out of the combo plate. Large naan. Great flavor in everything. No complaints
Absolutely delicious food! The massive garlic naans and hearty servings that come in the combo meal had us leaving happy and well fed, I am a big fan of this place and the food court in general - can't wait to come back!
Long time customer here and for good reason. The food at this restaurant is ready to be served and is absolutely amazing quality. The service is amazing and always leave extremely satisfied. Highly recommend . They even got new to go containers that don't spill!!!
Delicious! Haven't had Indian food very often and they helped make me a perfect plate. Will be back when in the area.
I love this place! The 1 item combo is a great deal and the food is delicious.
my bf's favorite place for indian food! they're pretty affordable, especially for the area. the $14 plate, as pictured, also comes with a giant naan that is literally bigger than the shown plate, it's like 16 inches long and 7 inches wide, roughly. overall very tasty! there's also multiple vegan entrees.
This place is always fresh and fast. Always good. If you like Indian curry, your choice is made
Very good service, good amount of food and quality for the price, a good amount of choice for vegetarians as well as different ranges of meat dishes.

Ah, such a nice place for buffet lunch or dinner. The service was the best 👌👌
Authentic, freshly cooked every time! Been numerous times and pleased always.
Food is very good. Full of flavor. Friendly staff.
Best food, service and prices as far as Indian food is concerned.
Been going here for years! Love this fast food Indian!
The best chicken tikka masala. Period. Omg and the naan bread is awesome!
Great food! First time having Indian food, and it was fantastic!!
I recommend the rice, lentils, (spicy) chicken, and garlic naan for quick and tasty food.
Food is delicious, nice outdoor food court seating
There are quite a few choices for Indian food in this area, but I always come back to Natraj. They have a lunch special where you can get 1,2 or 3 items with rice, salad and naan bread. My go to order is saag paneer (creamed spinach with cheese) and dal (lentils). Also they mango lassis are a nice drink to cool down with. Owner is very friendly as well.
I am hooked on this place right now! The food is always fresh and delicious. Some of the best vegetarian options in the area as well. Eat here!
The best Indian restaurant in south Orange County, delicious food. Affordable price great staffs specially Berbahador he is ver nice guy. He is such a friendly person. Thank you ☺️
My friends took here for my birthday. The service and food was excellent. The Indian beer very good. Great place.
Delicious food but they need to bring the price down. Or offer specials. I spend an average of $17 each time.
LOVE the food, especially the mango lassi. Food server is friendly too and recognizes me each time I go.
I been going to tgis location for years and always had a great experiance. Food is good and not over cooked, food is not bland, and the staff is always super awesome!
Staff was friendly and gave good suggestions. The food was really good! and on Sundays there is live music outside.
So good!! My husband and I go here and share a 3 item, so much food!! Delicious :)
This place is fantastic! I've been in so cal for 6 months and this may be some of the best food I've had yet!
Great food never tried indian food till now my husband and i loved it totally recomend it
Delicious food. Very authentic. Good variety.
Always fresh and plentiful for what you pay. EXCELLENT SERVICE EVERY TIME! Been going there since they opened!
I love the lamb biryani here. In fact I love most of the food here but the biryani is my favorite.
I know it's just take out, but Naturaj's is my absolute favorite spot for Indian. Whenever I'm in Irvine I have to stop in
Let me start by saying I DO NOT like Indian food at all. I have tried it several different times and from several different places and I am not a fan. HOWEVER, I got some I believe Tandoori chicken from Natraj's and it may have changed my mind. The food itself LOOKED delicious and isn't this why we try new foods? So I asked my wife if I could try it and it was absolutely delicious. This place may have completely changed the way I look at Indian cuisine. I also felt that this place was a great value for the amount of food they give you versus what you pay. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and looking for good Indian food. Worth the trip!
I give it a 5 because I believe their 4.2 ranking is too low. I think this place ranks closer to a 4.5. The staff is friendly and loads up the plate. I enjoy the food but feel like they could create some new sides to replace a few of their current ones. The ones with potatoes in it are good. The green one is not my favorite but I can't say that it was bad. Hope this helps!
One of my favorite Indian food places in Orange County. The staff are really nice and the food is great! Recently, I went in and their Five Points system was down (food rewards stuff) and they wrote down the points I'd get on my receipt and told me to bring it back in next time so they could add it. It's little things like that that make me enjoy coming back to certain restaurants.
Great fast service restaurant! Pick one or two entrees from the hot table with rice and garlic naan for like 13 bucks! I can easily get two meals out of a two entree with their foot and a half long naan! Food is always hot and chicken is deliciously tender.
Yum! I love this place! Natraji’s has great taste, always full of flavor, and seems fresh. I think the thing that keeps my family coming back specifically is because of the owner (I assume he is the owner). They gentlemen who always helps us, is so welcoming and friendly. We always feel happy and full after eating at Natraj’s!
I go here AT LEAST once a week and I always get the 2 entree meal. Very tasty Indian vegetarian fare and it's very affordable too. If you're looking for a filling and nutritious meal, I highly recommend Natraj in Foothill Ranch. The staff here are very friendly also and will chat you up. Love it!
Love the chicken tikka masala and the fresh naan bread. Great price for the meals.
Really tasty Indian takeout. 😋 Every location, including this one, has great food. Totally authentic and if you don't have time to cook, way better than other options for family dinner.
This is my favorite place to go for Indian food! They have by far the best palak paneer and I've never had a tastier mango lassi. Everyone is super friendly and ready to help you if you have any questions. Not a better place for warm and delicious Indian cuisine around.
Great food. Great service. Portions are good. Not too big or small.
Some of the best-tasting and least expensive Indian food I have found. I wish there were more casual/quick Indian restaurants like this! Everything I've tried here is delicious, and the Tikka Masala is my favorite. Great naan too. The employees are always friendly as well. I don't live very close to Foothill Ranch but I make excuses to go there just so I can eat at Natraj's.
Love this "fast food" location. Natraj is always great. Their combo plates are awesome. We love picking what we want. Naan comes with all the plates. We also order the Gobi Paratha. It's a bread stuffed with minced cauliflower and spices! So good!!
Good Indian food in a hurry. This is like fast food when it comes to Indian food. Delicious tikka masala and chicken tikka.
Amazing food. One of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend, nothing bad on the menu. Spinach and chicken Marsala or Tika the best!
This place is the best. I’ve been coming here often for over 20 years. Definitely one of my favorite places in all of Orange County. You should try it if you haven’t. You’ll be glad you did.

As a vegetarian we look for more vegetarian alternatives. We ordered two curry combo packs. We tried dal makhani, beigan bhartha, sag paneer and Chana masala. We ordered two plates of combo and it was sufficient for 3 of us. It comes with rice and Nan, you may upgrade to garlic Nan with extra money. We ordered garlic Nan and it was good. Spice level is moderate so if you want little spicy, please let them know or eat with pickles.

Local eatery food is ok but not authentic
I don't know anything about Indian food but I really enjoyed what I tried here
Great tasting food, just limited. Only options Americans would like.
A tasty buffet containing all of tbe traditional crowd pleasers as well as some rotating entrees that aren't as well known but are as equally delicious! Very friendly and personable staff that always remember what you like. Also, great selection of Indian beers like Haywards 5000, King Fisher, and Taj Mahal.
I've been here many times. The food seems fresh and they maintain their consistency. I would recommend trying it.
It’s always good here. Helpful, friendly staff, good choices and great food.
Such great food. I dropped it one star only because sometimes it's inconsistent. But overall it's a great place to get quick Indian food
Delicious food! Craving some today and heading that way from the office. Food is always ready, which makes it fast too!
Food was good, but a real plate, fork and knife would have given a five star. Can recomend the garlic naan!
Nice place for indian food. The portions are so satisfactory. Chicken there are so nice. Should go for a lunch.
First time eating Indian food. They helped make a plate.i told them I like spicy food.everything taste great.will be back again
Great food if your on the move and want only 1 to 2 items with naan bread and rice
Great food. My only complaint is that they're rarely up & running at opening hours (always behind).
Good place for Indian food. Good to have some evening snaks as well.loved the gulab jamun.
Not bad for Indian food on the go, especially in an area where there are not a ton of options to get it. It's premade and scooped, like Panda Express, and the selection is a little small but the food is good. They have mango lassi and some frozen treats as well.
It was good for the price we paid. Naan was really good. Rice was pretty rough but overall quality of the combo platter was worth it.
This is good fast food Indian. My brother head never eaten Indian and the guy gave him recommendations and samples to try. The spinach one is good. Tikka masala is good. A 2 combo meal is enough for 2 light eaters.
The garlic naan was fantastic. It’s a little bit on the spicy side, so please beware. The preparation is authentic and not americanized, which is great. Yet to try any other Indian restaurant so I’ll give this one a 4.
Love the food but over priced imo. They charged me for a roti because I didn't want the naan that was already included in the price of my meal . Very disappointing when restaurants are stingy/greedy like that. I didn't ask for anything extra. I ask for a substitute that was no more expensive (maybe less expensive because it was a plain naan instead of one loaded with butter).
Delicious! Steam table Indian food with lots of variety including lamb and vegetarian dishes. Basic Indian cuisine and not much ambiance, but food is delicious and servers are kind and helpful.
2 item combo (chicken tikka masala + chicken madras), with a huge side of rice and naan. Honestly pretty good bang for your buck and hits the spot, but don’t expect anything mind blowing or special.
There is no lunch buffet. I was a little disappointed about that. The food is delicious but portion sizes are really small. 2 item lunch combo comes in a child-size tray. So it's great if you want a lite lunch. But don't come super hungry expecting "all you can eat".

This is one of many Natraj locations. The food isn't the same as others. Guessing that they don't use the same recipes or/and ingrediates. Even the Nann was different (bland). The prices are higher than other location also. No wonder there wasn't many people. I'll drive to El Toro or other locations next time.

Good food, but overpriced Indian restaurant. Their breads are fresh but super expensive.
It’s decent taste.
They're really good, but I can't get the 2 entree combo delivered, so their quality doesn't really matter.
Not the best flavor. Decent price. But I wouldn’t recommend overall. Flavors are lacking. But if you have nothing else around it’s okay
It's just okay, the dishes from the heating table all lacked flavor (chicken tikka masala and saage paneer), the butter chicken entree was pretty good as well as the garlic Naan. Won't be coming back since there are plenty of more authentic Indian places around.
I ordered Beriani. It was very delicious but it was way expensive. about $19. You can have better dishes at this price. Crews weren't friendly.
Spent $60 on two curry, couple naans, and a dessert. Probably one of the most overpriced for a fast food Indian place ever. It’s not that good.
Worst indian bread and customer service. When I ask them to make it in a certain way they simply nod, but don't do anything. Typical.
Something hasn't been quiet right with this place recently. Food doesn't taste good, too much salt in one of my entrees and has also been caused an upset stomach more than once. Not like it used to be.
I'm very disappointed in my food today. I ordered the chicjen tikka masala . Something I've been ordering from them for years now. I admit it's been awhile since I've been here so I was really craving it and looking forward. Their portions have gone down and so is the flavor. It was basically tomato soup with chicken in it b what happened to the yummy Indian flavor that I was craving?
The food is ridiculously expensive a two item combo is $16.99. The itself is 3 star and price 1 star. For that money I could buy kabob or other quality food. The food worth typical $10 Indian food combo. Although the container was sturdy and nice.
I was really disappointed with my experience. The overall food quality was poor, and the food was oily and salty. The taste was not good. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better quality and flavor. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Got halfway through lamb special, and chicken curry meal, texture felt off…looked closer and discovered chicken way undercooked. Update: one day later I’m sick. This is disgusting.

Horrible service, bald guy did know what he was doing.. Will never go there again, rice was dry. Poor customer service
Horrible service, the worst Indian food I ever tasted in LA
Some staff here is very rude. The company should look into training the staff to be more polite. There have been instances of incorrect order and even asking for onion and salad on side is being ignored completely.
On a Saturday afternoon. Took 2, two item combos. One with Palak Paneer and Baingan Barta. Other with Punjabi kadi and Veg Jalfrezi. Garlic naan was ok. Apart from that, nothing felt fresh. The spices were not cooked right. The Paneer was old and sour. Could not eat the lunch and had to throw away food.
Placed door dash order 45 minutes before they closed today. They wait until 5 minutes before closing time—40 minutes later to cancel the order and then don’t pick up the phone. Won’t eat there again
I’d give no stars if there was an option ! Bad service and the worst Biryani I’ve ever had. The rice isn’t even basmati. Tastes like some cheap rice. Not worth $15 for a chicken Biryani
This place is a loot. I ordered a box of palak paneer. They gave only one small piece of paneer in the whole box. Are they in such a need of money to loot their customers with each piece of paneer.
ive eaten here twice and both times got what felt like food poisoning, at first i thought it was a coincidence but now im sure it was the food here. i ordered chicken tikka masala, coconut curry, garlic naan and the rice. im not one that usually has stomach issues so it was hard for me to believe the indian food was the culprit. so something to keep in mind if you plan on stopping by.
The food was too bad, I ordered lamb tikka and they just brought burnt uncooked pieces of lamb. The restaurant people are more interested in pushing their combos. Seriously, this restaurant is not a good place to visit and prices are not appropriate. Very honest review!
Be careful eating here. I ate some chicken curry and samosas last night and with in an hour I started to feel sick. I was up the majority of the night with various symptoms of food poisoning that I won't describe here! This is the second time I've experienced this after eating here. After the first bad experience I thought maybe it was just a fluke but this is twice now in six months!!
I live close to this crap hole so for convenience it cant be beat. If you think zucchini is spicy you will like this restaurant. They have a sister restaurant in Laguna Niguel. Wonder how they decide which one gets to sell the left overs.
Make food at home instead of buying from here I tried lamb curry and cheif special chicken it was below average. I would say put 10$ more and visit better restaurants.
