At Niko Niko Sushi, we're passionate about serving the freshest sushi in Ladera Ranch. Our team takes pride in crafting each dish with love and attention to detail, ensuring every bite is a delight for the senses. With exceptional quality fish and beautifully presented dishes, it's no wonder our customers rave about their experiences. From the chirashi omakase to the yaki udon, every plate is a masterclass in flavor and presentation. We're thrilled to have exceeded expectations for our visitors, who raved about the superlative service and atmosphere that makes Niko Niko Sushi a true gem in Irvine's culinary scene.
Niko Niko Sushi in Ladera Ranch is highly praised for its fresh and delicious sushi, with exceptional food and impeccable service being frequently mentioned. The bento box is considered a great deal, and the sushi is described as melting in your mouth.
Tip: The bento box is a large portion and a great deal, especially the mixed tempura, salmon teriyaki, and beef teriyaki.
Menu: Omakase Sushi and Sushi 9 pcs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) The sushi here is absolutely fresh and beautifully presented—each piece melts in your mouth and has a delicate, authentic flavor. The quality of the fish is outstanding, and the attention to detail makes every bite feel like a true omakase experience. The plate was vibrant and elegant, with garnishes that elevated the overall presentation. However, the restaurant seems to be understaffed. There was only one waitress handling the entire floor. She did an excellent job—friendly, attentive, and very professional—but it’s clear she was stretched thin. Service took a little longer because of this, though her effort and attitude were commendable. If the staffing issue gets resolved, this place would easily be a 5-star experience. Highly recommended for sushi lovers looking for fresh, high-quality dishes!
I visited Niko Niko in Irvine and tried a variety of dishes including the omakase chirashi bowl, omakase sushi combo, several grilled skewers, seafood yaki udon, and beef udon. Everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The quality and flavor of each dish were outstanding, and the fish was incredibly fresh. The chef was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I was really impressed and will definitely be coming back again!
Went here with my mom and friend for a quick dinner and ended up having such an amazing time! We ordered the 2 combination with salmon teriyaki and sashimi (tuna and salmon) bento box and also the 3 combination beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, and crispy scallop bento box. It was delicious and the portions were great for the price point! It also came with ginger dressing salad, sunomono salad, miso soup, a scoop of rice, and two orange slices! We also got spicy garlic edamame which was absolutely addicting to eat. It was so so good, coming from someone who rarely eats spice. We also tasted the bluefin tuna sashimi with crispy kale chips and garlic—OMG, this was delectable. It was so fresh and paired surprisingly well with the kale chips and garlic. The owner also came over and let us sample one of the new appetizers they’re planning to serve! It was called negi tofu and it was so light and yummy, perfect for any tofu lovers or any group who wants a light appetizer. It was essentially a cube of tofu with a yummy sauce on top served with fresh vegetables and red onion. For dessert we got the strawberry and matcha macaron ice cream which was just the cherry on top. Pretty sweet for my liking, but if you’re a sweet tooth, you’ll love it. TLDR: Get the bluefin tuna with crispy kale chips sashimi! Also their salmon teriyaki and spicy garlic edamame is a must-try. Will for sure be coming back soon! Also, the miffy bento box is not included, I made it haha.
Cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and the sushi is some of the freshest I've had in Irvine. They are well priced and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. The staff always remembers us and is also great at making suggestions on new things we have not tried yet. Come here for a great meal and A+ service!
Our favorite place for Sushi in Orange County. The fish is always fresh and well prepared (and artistically presented). The service is fast and friendly. It's a fairly small place that can fill up during busy times, but is well worth the wait!
Yes, yes and absolutely yes. Clean place, great service and very tasty food. We've tried 6 different rolls and two different plates. All were great and each roll had a unique style and taste. Thank you Niko team
Our first time here we ordered teppanyaki beef and chicken, vegetable tempura and mochi ice cream. Everything we ordered was so delicious! There’s so many items on their menu, we’re definitely coming back to try more. Customer service was exceptional!!!
Niko Niko is a great spot for quick and delicious Japanese food! The environment is very modern and clean, and our waitress was incredibly nice! The teriyaki chicken, California roll, and tuna crispy rice were all tasty. They even gave us two macaron ice cream sandwiches, which were also very good! Overall, it was good food for a reasonable price with great service.
I loved the sushi here! The menu is very diverse, and the fish is good quality. The staff is so sweet, and the service was excellent. The owners gave us a free taste of the future menu, and it was very yummy. Overall a great experience eating here!
Niko Niko is a wonderful restaurant. Their food is quite good. Their miso is delicious and the owner is always there working so hard. She puts a lot of love into the place and it shows. High quality food, great place, and even better owner.
Great little place in a nice area. Impressive menu and friendly sushi chefs with decent sushi prices. Also have a good warm dish menu. Fairly small restaurant so it will fill up if busy.
Went for lunch. My daughter and I each had a bento box combo. She, chicken teriyaki, California roll, salad, veggie tempura and miso soup. I , miso soup, but opted for a teriyaki salmon, chrunch roll, rice, and cucumber salad. Both boxes were outstanding. Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentation. Very fine waiting staff, very attentive.. our experience was wonderful. Can't say enough. Will be back.
Our closest and best sushi place. Great service and decent prices for the area. We are coming here almost every Friday night with kids. We all enjoy their food and service.
I ordered baked crab roll and yaki udon noodle. Both are delicious. The server was friendly and professional as well. Lot of parking space. Very next to Panera and Starbucks for coffee after dinner. Recommend this place!
I ordered the brown rice veggie sushi roll and it was so delicious I normally don't eat sushi and if I do it's occasionally but today I decided to have Sushi in Irvine I ordered by phone and I was able to pick up within 10 minutes it honestly was hands down the best sushi roll I have ever eaten
I love this place. Best quality sushi grade fish, always. Top notch staff. Nice drink selection. Location is very inviting.
This is my neighborhood place to go for sushi which is awesome. The chicken bowl is wonderful. They offer many other items on their menu you can't go wrong with this restaurant.
Very clean open concept. For an authentic experience sit at the bar. Where you can view your sushi being made fresh.. excellent service with a smile
Fresh seafood, great service, nice environment 👍
Great food and service! Bento 3 item special is delicious. Crunch roll and spicy crawfish roll are our family favorites!!!
We just ate here again and think the restaurant must have changed hands. New on-table dispensers for napkins and chop sticks. New serving ware. Same excellent food and service! We will be back! We enjoy this restaurant for its Bento Boxes. We had lunch on a Sunday and had a 2 combo box including mixed tempura and salmon teriyaki and a 3 combo box including crunch roll, mixed sushi and spicy tuna roll. Each box comes with rice, miso soup, salad, pickle and orange slices. We were not disappointed this time. Everything came out very well and delicious and fresh. Serving sizes are ample and the staff were attentive.
The only problem is they recently stopped delivering to my area using their APP which is cheaper. Yet they deliver across the street. Crazy.
This is by far my favorite Sushi spot! The food is incredibly fresh and tasty, the service is above and beyond and the restaurant is very clean and well kept. Niko Niko is a must try!
amazing food. Easy & nice service! Really enjoyable everytime(:
Really good sushi. Taste and quality are very consistent and over the last couple of years they have become even more popular as people stay close to home. That popularity has made the wait times more than double what we used to have pre-Covid. Now for phone orders they will tell you 30 minutes but you should get there in 45 minutes. As long as you realize they are trying their best to speed up without compromising quality of the food, bring on your patience and you will be rewarded with very good food. Cheers!
Real good quality and awesome tasting rolls. The rolls are more than a mouthful. We got the Niko roll and crunchy roll. The udon was very flavorful. The beef bowl was good. Definitely a place to check out if you are craving for some good sushi.
Delicious and fresh. The price is a bit high but honestly Id rather pay a little more to know the fish Im getting is delicious and fresh. Beautiful quality and packaging. They must be doing something new with packaging as mine didnt look like a standard take out box. I was so impressed by the spicy tuna hand roll. The spicy and flavor were amazing and the texture of the fish was heavenly. One of the best sushi places in irvine for sure.
Excellent sushi and terrific service!! Very nice staff and the fish was superb!! Lots of selections for rolls as well as other dishes so bring your appetite! Really pleased with the quality of the food. Definitely a great place for sushi!
The quality of the dishes are very good and very tasty. Vast selection of all kinds of Japanese cuisine
Tonight's specials was an absolute revelation! If you're looking for a sushi experience that goes beyond the standard tuna and salmon, then look no further. This is sushi for the adventurous foodie! But you have to work it as menu is mostly standard California rolls and chicken. I was looking for an out of body experience in Monkfish liver, oysters, yamakake bluefin tuna, not the traditional Baja chilean sea bass more the Chile caught, and caviar. But with all my asks they can grant you the traditional salmon, Tuna, white fish and a few daily specials. The chefs truly outdid themselves with a selection of unique and delectable ingredients like Japanese scallops and this beauty straight from Japan. We had some good laughs as i tried the offbeat orders. I hear an Oyster bar is in the works this June. Good, because I wanted this and not some fried chicken at a sushi bar. Lol Forget your California rolls - this is sushi for those who crave something truly special and sushi fish! Thank you to the chefs for such a memorable and delicious dining experience!
I ordered the Irvine roll and miso soup with seafood udon. The Irvine roll is taste fresh af, I also requested eel sauce on the side because I luv that stuff. The miso soup with the seafood and the noodles taste exactly how miso soup is supposed to be. I did take out and the host brought my order to me outside at the plaza. Overall, the sushi is delicious. My gf tried the dragon rolls, and a few others I can’t remember and was very happy. We are sushi connoisseurs, this is quite a western fusion restaurant but what matters is that it’s delicious and it was perfect.
The food was FANTASTIC, so well presented and rather beautiful! The staff was so friendly too!
Niko Niko is go to place for sushi! We love having them in the neighborhood Big portions, great quality of food Recommend
I don't dine out often, but when it comes to Japanese food, this is the place I always choose. I've been coming here for a long time, and since the ownership changed, the quality of the food has improved significantly. I think I'll end up coming at least once a week from now on.
Picked up sushi to go, tried everything at home — it was delicious! Fresh ingredients and neat presentation. I’ll definitely be back👍🏻
Niko Niko is my local Japanese restaurant. I sit at the sushi bar and the service, food quality and prices are very good!
Called to order the miso soup only. We love miso but usually it’s not served separately. That place can do that. I also asked to add some extra tofu to soup and it was plenty. The soup itself was fresh and tasty
Visited again after three years, and I was surprised at how much the food had changed… in a very good way! It was an incredibly satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back—100% planning to visit again. It was delicious.
Spectacular sushi. Get some. You will not be disappointed!
Ordered on uber eats. Best tempura I've ever had and was in a to go box, that's hard! Big portions of sushi and amazing quality. Only critique is not enough spicy mayo and eel sauce!
Impressed with the salads we ordered for pickup. Fresh, had all the ingredients and extra dressing in asked for. Ordered online and very happy with this experience. The fish was high quality as well. Will be ordering more from here in the future! They have my business back!
Just ordered takeaway for a quick dinner but the rainbow roll was SO fresh! Every different fish was delicious. Mixed tempura was so light and perfectly crispy! And as always made right in time packed up beautifully and with all of the great condiments and sauces!
Exceptional Food & Outstanding Service! I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko Sushi! My Rainbow Roll was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Eel & Avocado Roll was prepared well as well by Ponce, who’s clearly a talented chef. Jenny, who handled both serving and hosting, was attentive, and incredibly efficient. Between dine-in guests and a steady flow of mobile orders, she and Ponce worked together like a well-oiled machine. It’s rare to see a two-person team handle that kind of volume with such professionalism and grace. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the teamwork on display was impressive. Niko Niko Sushi is definitely a spot I’m looking forward to returning to soon!
The food is excellent here, and the bento box with three items is a great deal! The bento box is very big, when you dine in --a super-size portoon! I like the mixed tempura, the teriyaki salmon for my client, and the beef teriyaki is very flavorful. The avocado roll (over a California roll has a generous amount of avocado and it's a winning combination (but purchased separately from the bento box). Amazing place in an intimate atmosphere!
They were super busy, as in slammed, NYE with to-go orders but still maintained friendly and personable service. Best of all the FOOD turned top tierrrr!! Them being busy didn’t affect or impact the quality of my order, which I was kind of worried about. Best wagyu Ever and the jalapeño bombs are the BOMB!! Honorable mention the spider roll, always a hit. Can’t miss, everything I’ve had so far is good.
¡Comida excepcional y servicio impecable!
The e menu is pretty simple. Not much selection of sushi nigiri but fish was fresh.
It’s my last stop on a 4-day biz/leisure trip in Irvine. Had a nice and hearty lunch with a friend in Irvine before heading to Denver from SNA. The outdoor seating is nicer, but it is a bit hot today. The menu choices are quite extensive, and I like the tuna or salmon rolls with some Sashimi fresh salad, and of course, some Japanese green tea. Not many diners at lunch on Monday. Cheers!
A little bit pricy, but what do you expect these days? Good attentive service, accommodating for our kids, tasty food, generous with the ginger, almost everything came out quick. Overall pretty good.
Very friendly staff welcomed me when I entered, quickly found me a table and took orders. The spicy tuna has a surprising but pleasant kick, and the rolls were all fresh and fast. Small space, but not crowded when I’ve been there. Located in Woodbury Town Center with great walkability and variety of stores.
Wasn't in the restaurant so I can't say much, but the food was good.
The service and atmosphere was on point. But the sushi did not wow me. Maybe my standards are just too high.
The most expensive sushi I ever had. It is a nice place but rolls shouldn't be 11. I remember paying 6 tops but 11 is too much. The service was good.
The sushi rolls are big and delicious👌🏻 , the service super fast, if you come at lunch time.
Delicious California rolls. There’s a lot of rice, so it’s quite filling for a light meal. The rice is fresh and slightly sweet. It was a funny brown shade—which they explain is due to the seasoning they use—so it’s not actually brown rice.
Usually order to go. Food is always good and service is kind!
Food is delicious, my only wish is for you to work on adding more varieties to the menu, very limited and mainstream rolls, yet the food and the ambiance are great.
Different owner than Costa mesa location. Food was good but expensive than Costa mesa location. Ok environment
Have ordered from here many times - seems like portions are smaller this time. The potato tempura was undercooked and the salmon skin handroll was drenched with sauce making it soggy. Also, I couldn't order through the Niko app because the address search did not recognize my address and it would not let me manually enter or save my address. Will still order again - perhaps today the cook was having a bad day.
I ordered a variety of menu items to take out. Although the food was tasty, it seemed that some attention to detail was lacking. My favorite item was the miso-basted Chilean Sea Bass skewer. The least liked was the cucumber salad, which should have consisted of paper-thin sliced cucumbers and a delicate umami taste. This salad, however, verged on being American pickles. The chili chicken shu mai were the exact right texture and flavor. The sushi rolls were just ordinary, a little sloppily rolled...and they forgot the soysauce/ginger accompaniment. Service: adequate, but none of the traditionally warm Japanese hospitality that makes a customer feel appreciated.
We had Niko Niko delivered to the office. The food was good but it would be very helpful to label the containers. I had requested on my order to label the items. We also did not have enough chop sticks or Soy Sauce.
Service was good and friendly, but we found the food just okay quality, especially considering it's priced like a very high-end place. I enjoyed the salmon sushi, however.
I enjoyed but I didnt really feel the sushimi fish was really good quality. The place didnt seem really clean, lighting was too dull, staff were ok, not very friendly. I dont think I would go back but I must say the oysters were very nice and fresh.
Title: Declining Quality and Inconsistent Service Rating: 3 stars (restaurant), 2 stars (service) Review: I've been a loyal customer of Niko Niko for years. Previously, I would have easily given them a 4.5-5 star rating. The food was consistently delicious, and I always enjoyed my experience. However, recent visits have left me with a less favorable impression. The food quality seems to have declined somewhat, and the take-out service has been particularly disappointing. I'm not sure if there's been a change in ownership or chefs, but the overall experience isn't what it used to be. One recurring issue is that they don't consistently review the order with you when you pick it up. It's always bundled and ready to go, which makes it difficult to confirm accuracy on the spot. This has led to missing items on more than one occasion. Furthermore, on several occasions, I've called in to place an order and been assured that a specific dish was available, only to arrive and discover it wasn't. While I appreciate that they didn't try to substitute it with something else, a simple phone call to inform me would have been appreciated. This would have allowed me to either choose a different dish or order from somewhere else entirely. What's most concerning is that when I expressed my disappointment, I was told they had tried to call me, which was a blatant lie. I had my phone with me the entire time and there were no missed calls. This lack of honesty and accountability is unacceptable and has eroded my trust in their service. While I still enjoy some of the food at Niko Niko, these recurring issues with their take-out service, particularly the lack of communication and honesty, have made me hesitant to continue ordering from them. I hope they will take this feedback seriously and work to improve their order accuracy, customer service, and overall consistency.
tried to order from Niko via UberEats. my address was wrong cuz I moved. Realized how far away it was. Cancelled in THREE minutes. Uber charged me $111 and told me it was too late to cancel. Niko was super helpful and called them to explain the confusion. uber does not care. They will not budge. If Niko and I are on the same page, then who the hell does Uber think they are??!! Kudos to Niko for the help. Don't ever, ever use Uber! Just horrific. Stick to others.
Came in for sushi once for lunch and the location was not too packed which was good. The service I believe can be improved as well as the food. The sushi was good but not great. After the server brought our check she would pass by and grab it to see if we had put our card in already. I think that is slightly rude. We felt like we were being rushed out.
amazing service, great atmosphere, but food is TERRIBLE. tried twice with very different orders. overall theme is not-fresh ingredient and everything overcooked. 1. sushi & rolls: ingredients not fresh. seafood/fish part is fine but the vegetables are not. some ingredients taste bitter and I regret trying. 2. chicken bowls/sides: chicken teriyaki is extremely salty and the chicken pieces are overcooked with burnt teriyaki glaze. bitter taste again in the mouth. in addition, chicken pieces comes with a smell (meat not fresh). for those who recommend their chicken teriyaki, order that from panda express and you'll pay less for way better food. chicken karaage looks nothing like the picture on the menu: the cuts are much bigger and the meat is very dry (overcooked) judging from the food quality alone: one of the worst Japanese restaurant I've ever tried. However, the service is great. I'd love to see the owners improving the quality of the food. it's the only gap but the gap is pretty big.
Decent sushi place, more than I could eat. Recommend double double.
Got food delivery via DoorDash. 2 things wrong: 1) Not the fault of Niko - Food got delivered to wrong door, I had to hunt it down. 2) Niko forgot the rice in my 2 item bento box. The other one had rice. Just overall disappointed, especially since I'm sick.
Very bad service! We walked in at 8:30pm and told a waiter there were 4 of us, she didn't talk to me or take us to sit, she just walked away. We waited for 10 minutes and the 3 waiters just looked at us, they were talking in low voices and walked past us. The staff at the sushi bar stood and looked at us... Finally we left, such a weird restaurant that doesn't welcome guests, I will never come back!!!
Place is small so expect a wait during peak times. Service was ok 3 stars. Staff of 6 for 4 tables and I had to wave them down a few times. Sushi 2 stars. Rolls came apart right away and mind you I can use chopsticks with both hands. Plus, there was just to much rice used for the rolls and made them difficult to eat. Overall, 2 star experience.
They had many take out orders with only two chefs, we had to wait 45 mins! To get our food!. Food itself was good but not worth $17. They don't even have soy sauce on the table and you should ask for it. You feel you are eating in the kitchen not restaurant. It's not nice dine in restaurant.
It was so delicious, but gave us food poisoning. 😭😭 everything was really tasty despite our GI tracts rebelling against all that is holy.
We went for early dinner. Seafood Yakiyudon had too much oil and not enough flavor. It was obvious that frozen seafood in the noodle dish were either old or nor properly thawed. Bento was ok but also the meat dishes were lacking flavor and saltiness. We ordered a special roll and they didn't look appetizing and we didn't finish. They conveniently forgot an appetizer but was on the bill and we had to tell them. Servers were too busy with delivery orders but to paying attention to the best down customers.
Came here on Friday evening to have a dinner with a family. Ordered Unagodon and grilled mackerel. The unagidon was cold, like it was cooked in the morning and left to cool down at room temperature. Not sure if it's a common practice to prepare food earlier and serve it when client orders, but I wouldn't mind if they warmed the food up. Asked for a replacement. They brought slightly warmer food than it was before. It felt like I was eating leftover food from the day before. The mackerel was just warm. It didn't look like it was grilled right before they served it. Seemed like it was just warmed up. Usually we go to Irvine Spectrum's Japanese restaurant, but this time wanted to try something new. And we were quite disappointed.
Terrible service I think because we were white. It was obvious that they catered to the Asians. The service was terrible! Will not be back.
Ordered take out and they gave me half of what I ordered. Truly disappointed in this restaurant. First and last time for us!
I got food poisoning directly after eating the Pork Katsu. My head is on fire, my stomach hurts, my throat is dry and I’m in deep agony. Skip this restaurant or skip the Pork Katsu. Either way I would avoid the whole place all together.
I just had my life’s worst Sushi here. Beware, you will have stomach problems. The taste of Sushi was also bad. There are better places out there.
Bigger is not better. I am very disappointed. I expected to get okay tasting sushi with a good atmosphere. A friend recommend this place because of the buy one sushi roll get one half off special Monday - Thursday. The sushi was sub- All-you-can-eat sushi quality. I ordered a salmon teryaki and it tasted like boil salmon (half the size of my hand) with a watery sauce. If I bought salmon baked it and bought generic sauce from a grocery store it would be much better and wouldn't cost $8.50. The Hungry roll and Dragon roll were "meh". The hungry was eel on top of a california roll. The eel was cooked and the roll was cold. Strange I didn't know it was cooked roll and half cooked roll was more shocking. Dragon roll the tuna on top was okay. I didn't want to try any of the raw sushi after tasting the special rolls. Also, they use the large chinese style long grain rice and not the sweet small japanese rice. Will not go again. I recommend going to Maki-yaki express in Laguna hills which is semi- fast food over the counter. Niko Niko I can walk to but it might be worth driving a few miles to eat there. Also the food court sushi Wasabi at the Irvine Spectrum is also better. If you are looking for cheap decent sushi go to the other places I recommended.
I live in Woodbury and wished I could give a better review. However, everything seems wrong with this place. 1. Hardly any fish on rolls. I know inflation is bad, and restaurants are suffering. However, the rolls are sad ... they put only the tiniest, thinnest strip of fish on top of a roll (which is mostly Mayo). Feels like very little value for the dollar. 2. The wait staff know nothing about waiting tables. The wait person brought a beer (non-screw top) but did not open. They took the menus away less than 5 minutes after sitting down. They got the orders wrong. They bother you 3 times in 10 minutes, then ignore you for 20-30 minutes. And, a pet peeve, they fill the soy sauce out of sight rather than letting you fill your dish yourself ... feels creepy (and cheap). 3. There are boxes and other restaurant items sitting in plain sight in the dining room. 4. There is nobody there ... it's lonely in the restaurant. I wish nothing but the best for the owners. Inflation is bad, and the Woodbury shopping center rent must be very high. However, they need better people who (a) understand restaurant business, and (b) actually care a little bit.
Service was horrible had to ask for wasabi had to ask for water waited forever to order waiting a long time to get our check everybody else that came in after us. I left way before we got our check All Asians got served ready for us as we waited. Not sure if that’s all of that.
Their sushi rolls are premade. May as well just go buy premade sushi rolls from grocery store and save your money.
I ordered three rolls and one order of shrimp tempura online for new years Eve through their website. The online system said it would be ready in 25 minutes. About an hour after I arrived I spoke to an employee who acknowledged my order and said it would be 30 more minutes. The food took 2 hours. I totally understand there was a rush for new years Eve but the online system misrepresented the availability. Other people waiting said they called in and their food took two hours. Don't order when it's a busy time.
Niko niko used to be my favorite place for rolls. But not anymore this is a second time i am ordering salmon roll and fish inside the roll is so bad, not fresh. First time I complained they replaced it with rolls that were made from proper fresh fish. But this second time in a short time i am just way too disappointed that they let their clients to experience this disgusting taste of bad salmon roll that gone bad. I am sorry but I won’t be ever ordering from this place again… because seems like they intentionally using bad products to make rolls. Or they don’t check the rolls they are making for a quality… anyways i am done with this place…
Chicken fried rice was very bland. Chicken breast salad has dark meat not breast meat. Lettuce is extremely wilted and old. Asked for extra soy sauce. SOY SAUCE! $94 order and we were given 4 packets of soy sauce. Miso soup was cold. Would not recommend eating here.
No wonder this place isn’t busy anymore!! They’ve cheapened the quality to maintain prices similar to other places.😞Despite the comprehensive menu and nice view, service has sharply declined. I was the only customer in the restaurant but still waited 20 minutes because they claimed to have many takeaways. Both the baked salmon and scallop rolls arrived with cucumber, not on the menu. The scallop roll’s cold rice suggested it wasn’t fresh. Typically, warm sushi melts in your mouth, but not here. The server, Mrs Young, dismissively claimed cucumber was always included! gaslighting me even after I showed photos. She also falsely claimed I’d complained last time and said, ‘If you don’t like it, don’t come here.’ As a regular, this was deeply insulting and disappointing. At the end she tried to say sorry and offered not to charge me but I paid for the food we ate. I was there for pleasure but yet it was total opposite! If you ask me just go somewhere else!
