Frango Piri Piri Grelhado

Great chicken and beer at a more than fair price, in an authentic Portugiese ambiance? What else do you need? Fantastically marinated piri-piri chicken served with rice or fries and good portion of mixed veggies and salad. Vegetables didn't have a dressing on them, but there are plenty of condiments to choose from, so I went for some olive oil. Super Bock on tap is always a great sign and it really did not disappoint.

Me and my husband found the best spot to eat in Old Town Lagos! The piri piri was so delicious! The chicken is not dry. The serving was a lot for me but I finished it. Lol. It was filling! You get your money’s worth here. It’s not that pricey unlike the other restaurants in the area that are overpriced for tourists. I will go back here again! Must try when you are looking for good resto in Lagos.

A super good place to eat cheap and deliciously! It’s tucked in a street from a plaza and the chicken pri pri is finger licking my husband ordered the kabob and he kept coming to get more. We tried so many other restaurants during our 7 days in Lagos and not one not even the Michelin star one was as good as this one. The staff are super friendly and super accommodating of our toddler.

What a lovely surprise! The piri piri chicken was delicious and the portions are huge! Located in the heart of the old town of Lagos, it was an affordable and tasty dinner for our family of five. Drinks, full entrees with sides of fries and salad for everyone and a bottle of wine for 58€. The garlic/mint sauce and the green chilli sauce were tasty too!

Tired and hungry after a day at the beach. We walked by a bunch of places and kept on going due to poor Google ratings. When we peeked around the corner and saw this one we decided to give it a try based on the 4.5 rating. So glad we did and so is my wallet. This is simply good food, no pretence, no nouvelle cuisine. Just very tasty food in generous portions for a fair price!

This is an amazing restaurant. Good prices and huge portions. Not only is the value good, but the food is fantastic. I have never had Peri Peri chicken like that in my entire life. When you talk about Portuguese chicken back home and have all these expectations, this place will exceed those expectations. I went here 3 times in the 3 days I was here and it was one of the main reasons I was sad to leave Lagos. Definitely a highlight. Thanks for amazing food and for your friendly hospitality!!

The food is so good here we came back twice for lunch on a 3 day trip of Lagos. The chicken Grelhado was super tasty - my kids loved the falafel as well. The garlic sauce and green sauce they have with it is beyond delicious.

Simple, delicious food, not expensive at all. Busy little place, we loved it. We wanted to try some prawns, but they didn't have in stock, which is a shame, but maybe they only get them certain days in the week.

Let’s start with the food: 🔥 The piri piri chicken was next level — juicy, perfectly grilled, packed with flavor, and spiced to perfection. 🥙 The doner kebab? Unreal. Loaded with tender meat, fresh salad, and the most addictive sauce. Easily one of the best kebabs we’ve ever had — and that’s saying something. 💸 And the prices? Shockingly cheap for how good the food is. You leave full, happy, and with change in your pocket. But what truly makes this place stand out is the elite service. Huge shoutout to Farhann, who made every visit feel like we were VIPs. Attentive, friendly, and just a top guy all around — he made the whole experience that much better. The vibe is relaxed, the food is top-tier, and we genuinely can't recommend it enough. If you're in Lagos and don’t eat here, you're missing out. We’ll be back. Again.

While this place may not look like much, they will have some of the BEST food you are going to have in Lagos (If your order right). If you’re coming here, just order the Donner Kebab. Even some of the other people dinning in the restaurant asked us what we ordered (Donner Kebab) because it looked so good. Highly recommend.

We were inspired after we saw another patron eating their pizza last time, and could tell he was undergoing a spiritual experience. Prices: couldn’t believe my eyes that the kebab durum was only 5.5 euros - my only critique is that it came with TOO MUCH MEAT - if you want to get your moneys worth, you need to come here - buy 2 of these and feed a family of 4-5 The atmosphere: the nested patio on a cobbled road is something from a storybook. It’s the yellow brick road from the Wizard of Oz, where you and your companions too, will have a journey of self discovery. The shiny metallic tables give you enough space to enjoy 2, even 3 entrees each as you rest your tired feet lounging in cloud-like basket woven chairs taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells that old Lagos has to offer.

Comimos un plato de Frango Piri Piri. Estaba bueno, pero los he probado mejores. La atención muy buena El restaurante está en una calle estrecha con 3 mesas grandes, y en el interior hay pocas mesas. El baño un poco cutre. La atención muy amable, y lo mejor es que no van a engañar al turista, no te ponen aceitunas, mantequilla, que no has pedido. Te sirven lo que pides y cobran solo lo que pides. A really good piri piri chicken!! We had it to go and that resulted in the chicken being a bit to dry, we definitely would recommend having it there and eat it fresh as possible. The portion size was also very generous!! Side Note: really liked the simple salad it comes with, the best side salad we had in comparison to a lot of other places in the Algarve haha
