Classic American Diner with a phone booth in thr front. Kids menu is great and they have....Egg Cream!!! Went with the meatloaf, veggies saute was perfect. If your passing by definitely consider this stop.

Lagrangeville, NY. Great food with Gluten Free options! The food was spectacular just as much as the service. There are a lot of options with breakfast served all day and gluten free toast, potatoes, cheesecake! So many things to choose from as well as options to customizing your food. Will definitely eat here again

It's one of the best diners in the area, been coming here for years. This was breakfast after coming home from a recent cruise. Service is always incredible, great looking, and great tasting food. The atmosphere is very bright and welcoming. We tried 2 of the mimosas from their flite menu. One was missing the cherries that it showed on the menu, but otherwise, they tasted okay

Stopped on my way to the city for a quick bite to eat. The server was friendly and quick! I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with sourdough toast. Little over done on the toast but other than that a good meal. They use red skin potatoes for home fries as well.

We unexpectedly stumbled upon this diner when looking for somewhere to eat on our ride home to Jersey. This diner is worth a stop on your list! It was so cute inside-everything was decorated with cool posters on the walls, even the bathrooms and spunky light fixtures covered the ceiling. There was a "soda shop" area, a "bakery" area, and a bar with some seating. They had a decent amount of booths/bar chairs -only half of which were open when we were there, but seems like that depends on the time you go. I got a lunch special -Mac and cheese & pulled pork grilled cheese, it was amazing. Also ordered were a chicken sandwich, eggs Benedict, and a "down under" burger, all of which came out great. We tried a cream soda and headed back on the road with our black and white cookies (only one pictured because I ate mine too fast) 🤭 Everything is very clean, prices are great, atmosphere is very welcoming, service was good We would go back again!

Great diner on the Taconic parkway ! Stopped for breakfast, the prices are fair and the food is great. Decor is lovely, like in the typical 60s diner and the service is perfect. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. Their Rye bread is yummy. My favorite stop when on the road for sure! Ill be back

Stopped at Daily Planet Diner on our way back from the Christmas tree cutting. We stop every other year. They never disappoint. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Even though there was alot of people sitted, food was served fast and hot. Definitely a place to go! Conveniently located close to the main road and a nearby highway.

Never been here before, but it's a cute, kitschy diner that didn't lean into the name too much. I kind of expected a little more Superman, but that's OK, it was very clean and had the classic diner look. It was recommended to come here for good diner food. I have a rule on places I've never been. If they have a dish named after the restaurant, I get that my first time there. If not, I order a Rueben to compare against every other diner in the world. So I ordered the Rueben. Unfortunately, what I got was a lump of corned beef with drippy sauerkraut between two pieces of white toast. I'm pretty sure there was some Swiss, but there was definitely no Russian dressing, and it wasn't rye. At least the french fries were decent. Needless to say, the meal was very disappointing. Kind of went along with the service. The waitress was attentive but should have seen the plate was wrong. And the woman at the register seemed to be put out that phone-scrolling was interrupted. I'm not sure if I will go back other than if I'm locked into the area. It was better than the McDonalds across the street, but not by much.

This used to be a go-to place for diner food. It has gone way downhill re: quality and value of their food. A few months ago I ordered the bagel with lox deluxe dish. The plate had very little food on it. Only 4 skinny strips of salmon, and not even a sprinkle of capers, for $15+. Tonight I ordered the Fonz burger. The "meat" was awful. It tasted funny, like the grill wasn't cleaned. I left half of it on the plate. Both times I politely told the employee who checked me out at the counter about the disappointing meal ("How was everything?"). Neither time was I offered even a small discount off the dish. Just a limp apology. If twice is no, it's time to go. I'm done with this place. They charge Westchester prices for low quality food.
