Flew in two days in a row, what a great spot! Inside and outside seating, great service and a solid menu. The specials change everyday, too!

This is a cozy place to eat. Great food, and they are consistent. When you ask for eggs over easy, medium or well, they actually come out that way. They bring you a little glass milk bottle with your coffee, instead of having to wrestle with creamer containers. The service is fast, polite and they don't miss a beat. The view is awesome! You get to watch single engine props go through takeoff and landing. We've made this our weekend routine to break bread, and forget our problems for a few hours.

What an experience! Absolutely phenomenal food, kind staff and just overall a wonderful time! My kids absolutely loved seeing the planes come in and out while we ate!

This is really nice little hole in the wall cafe, right next to an active airport so if you go when the weather is good you get to see planes landing and take off, and they serve primarily breakfast but some small lunch things as well!! Overall really good for the price and really good food!!

Our family loves coming here! Everyone is always so friendly and kind. The food is always amazing! Very good! Only one suggestion I’d give for the chicken and waffles is to use bigger pieces of chicken. Perhaps this was just the to go order that I received, it only had 1 small piece of chicken. Still tasted great, I think I was just expecting two bigger pieces of chicken. This in no way makes or breaks coming here. We can’t say enough good things about the Hanger Cafe and Staff ❤️

Cool airport to fly into. Got a parking spot up by the pumps. It looks like their is additional parking on the ramp below the pumps as well. The food and service were great! We will definitely be back!

I don't live too far away but never really pop into Sky Acres. Today I did and I was very happy I did! The Hangars Cafe was beyond my expectation. Each meal was well crafted and well beyond standard diner quality. The atmosphere was warm and cozy (on a winter's day). The staff was welcoming. I highly recommend.

A very quaint cafe dedicated to those who love to fly. Located on a hilltop adjacent to a very active runway where one can witness small planes taking off and landing! They often will taxi right up to the windows and outdoor seating of the restaurant. Bring binoculars! Views of the distant hills and tree line are great many birds! Their food is delicious and plated with a professional touch. So glad that we found this little gem of a spot to eat! Children will love it too!

I cant say enough good stuff about this place. Atmosphere is great, service is great, I went there once a year ago and got recognized by the staff. The food was AMAZING (try the skillet special), I had to pace myself so I could enjoy and savor it. Place is run by a sweet young thang named Allie, she runs a tight ship, and the kitchen delivers QUALITY. I got a muffin and they literally toasted and buttered it for me, like tell me other places do that, cmon. Take your gf, take your wife, just dont take them at the same time. 11/10, 6/5 stars!

Nestled within the hills of Dutchess County in the town of Unionvale, You will find this special cafe that serves very good food, with fine detail. The staff is accommodating, friendly and kind, They will give you plenty of time for you to make up your mind. The menu diverse, with plenty selection, Breakfast or lunch you choose the direction. You will have a front row seat watching the planes take off and land, While sitting indoors or out, the views are just grand. So, if you are looking for change, something different and new, Hangars Cafe, bring the kids, they will love it,,,, and you will too!

Disappointing experience. Came here based on the positive reviews but sadly I cannot concur. My husband ordered the special Eggs Benedict and I ordered the Avocado Toast. Both dishes were served on soft (not even toasted) hamburger buns. The avocado was not fresh as listed on the menu but rather the prepackaged kind. If you're going to charge $14 for avocado toast, and over $16 for a Benedict the dishes should at least reflect the description on the menu. The poached eggs were good and the home fries were fine. Coffee was the usual diner coffee, not horrible but not great. Service was fine, though we were never asked what we thought of the meal. Perhaps it was an off day?

Normally this is a great place for brunch. We went for Father's Day at 1pm, an hour before closing, and with reservations. We had no idea they were doing a buffet. The buffet was very small, located in a very warm room. Three types of potatoes, and not too much else. The omelets station had one type of cheese...Parmigiano! Seems they ran out of a lot, but still charged the same. So, I would still recommend going for regular breakfast or brunch, but NOT when they are serving buffet.

We stood at the window, watched the planes and waited for at 10 minutes for someone to come. A girl came with a dirty rag and wiped it. Two guys came in after us and their order was taken before ours. My husband ordered an Omelet and coffee and I asked for a short stack and bacon. The waitress asked if I meant pancakes. I never heard anyone refer to anything else but pancakes as a short stack. It even says it on the menu. Waitress brings husband's coffee and there is coffee grinds on inside of cup with a fuzzball and hair. My $5.00 oj was served in a plastic cup over lots of ice. Who puts ice in oj? The food was fine, nothing spectacular. Seeing the planes take off and land was really cool though. Cost about 35.00 for the 2 meals. Would go back just to watch the planes but not to eat.

The reviews raved about the food but the food was disappointing and flavorless. My burger was mediocre and it was unseasoned, just the flavor of the grill. My fries were old and disgusting (imagine day old McDonald’s fries) and a lot of sweet potato fries were mixed in. They were also unseasoned but better than the other fries. My sister and mom’s food was also extremely unseasoned and flavorless. The price was good for 3 people but that was the only redeeming quality about this place (besides the view of the planes). Do not recommend.
