We hosted a celebration of life for my dad at Sonny’s. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful. They were not only incredibly kind, but accommodating, and thoughtful. They answered all of our questions, helped us set up before guest arrival, were timely with bringing out and clearing plates. I highly recommend Sonny’s for your next event or dinner. It is one of those hidden gems that you might pass on if you driveby but once you sit down for a meal, you’re a customer for life. The food was incredible, the penne vodka was perfection AND al dente (as requested). The eggplant rollatini was perfectly done, the chicken dish was also amazing, and the fried calamari was lightly battered and perfectly seasoned. I can’t say enough about the food and the staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot say enough great things about Sonny’s Pizzeria! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—even though we arrived after hours. Not only did they seat us with a smile, but they treated us like VIPs the entire time. The service was truly exceptional, with every need anticipated and every question answered with genuine kindness. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is absolutely phenomenal! The flavors are perfectly balanced, with the crispy bacon, juicy chicken, and creamy ranch all working together to create a pizza masterpiece. Every bite was better than the last, and it’s clear that only the freshest ingredients are used here. This place is a gem. I would recommend Sonny’s to anyone looking for top-notch food and service. Little old Italian restaurant in a strip plaza off of the Tachtonic parkway. Definitely stop in and try a slice or sit in the dining room for a fresh home made Italian meal. Service and staff were excellent. They make you feel like you are part of their family.

Had a great dinner tonight, fresh tossed salad, tender fried shrimp & creamy fettuccine with fresh broccoli. Meal was delicious. Waitress was wonderful. Very attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Restaurant isn't modern, but is clean and has a homey feel. Thank you for a great dinner.

Pizza was fantastic. Our waitress Kim gave great recommendations on a delicious pizza pie. Conversation and table manors was entertaining and spot on. Made the visit enjoyable. Will visit again next time I'm up that way.

I ordered a margarita pizza and a chicken parm hero and they were both delicious. I asked for the pizza thin and well done and it was. And I love that they know to toast the bread for the chicken parm.

Decent food at decent price. Intimate bar partitioned off from a small dining area of immobile booths, with a larger more formal dining area in the rear. Friendly locals. Attentive, efficient waitress. Two beers on draft (one domestic, the other imported — Stella Artois). Optimum supplies free internet. Homely decorations. Clean single-occupant same-sex bathrooms in rear. Parking free and plentiful in lot out front.

Going upstate, we passed through the area and stopped at Sonny's Pizza. As you walk in, Sonny's looks like your average pizza place with a place to dine in the back. My family just wanted some pizza, so we sat and ordered up front. The pizza slices are ginormous! It's easily larger than your average NYC slice. The sauce on the pizza was especially tasty. The pizza had the right crisp, too! The prices were very fair as well and the service was excellent. If you're in the area, give them a try!

Went for lunch. Had chicken mushroom sandwich. Thought it was pretty good. Should have asked for more sauce but I had a good time. Anyway, I will definitely go back and try something else

I grew up ordering from this place. The food is still good, but they have definitely changed under new ownership. The quality of ingredients has changed, specifically the fact that now canned black olives are used on the pizzas instead of the real Italian olives they used to use. The product doesn’t have the love that used to be put into it. I’m especially disappointed at how much the menu has changed; I feel like they’ve sold out by adding buffalo chicken pizza and other novelties to the menu. We still order from here, but it’s no longer the go-to it once was for our family.

I have been going here on and off for 15+ years. This place has really gone down hill. I keep giving it a chance in hopes it will go back to the way it was.That hope is lost. Possibly the worst Italian food I've eaten. Pizza and subs used to be on point but not anymore. Don't recommend.

Its very unfortunate I have to leave this review because the food is amazing. They are charging more than the menu prices. When we asked our waitress why her response was " yea its been like that for a few years and we always get questioned about it" this is highly illegal and I hope your business suffers from it after this post
