Amazing stay at The Ranch. Top-notch amenities and an incredible staff, shoutout to Sal for great service and Greg for the best local recommendations. The golf cart to the beach is clutch, and the water pressure is insanely strong. Can’t wait to come back.

The Ranch is truly a special place. Spectacular setting, superb service with a super friendly welcoming vibe. Special shout out to Austin one of the Front desk supervisors who always went out of his way to make our trip perfect. Marli ( ?) the Harvest hostess hostess warm and friendly and recognized that we were return customers.Farm tour is a must! Farm manager clearly passionate about what he does. Our family stayed at the Ranch on Christmas night with extended family front desk was very helpful cordial and friendly. The room was lovely. We especially liked the Jacuzzi as we had had a long walk that day. Having a drink by the fire pit was especially nice Before dinner. our family of 12 had a wonderful dinner and were well taken care of by the wait staff. Highly recommend and would stay there again if we have the opportunity.

My wife and I stayed at this resort this weekend. Ankit, the gentleman who checked us in was very courteous. He surprised us with an upgraded room. He said it’s because we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were stunned as we entered our cottage. Very spacious 2 story. Dinner at the Harvest was simply delicious. Scott who waited our table, knew the menu well, he was great and lighthearted. We loved our farm tour. Fun and educational. We got to meet and chat with Ryan the expert gardener. We came back to Harvest for lunch, Jayne recommended us to have the Pasta. Oh my my. The best we ever had. Ty Jayne. We sat at the harvest patio several times. Everyone was great. Ashley Franco served us twice. She was pleasant and very helpful. Overall, This resort is beautifull and excellent by all standards

A Peaceful Escape with Exceptional Service My wife and I recently stayed at The Ranch at Laguna Beach, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, quiet, and peaceful — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our visit enjoyable. We also spent time at the spa, and the experience was amazing. The massage we received was one of the best we’ve ever had — relaxing, restorative, and perfectly done. The Ranch combines the natural beauty of Laguna Beach with true hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next stay.

I recently stayed at The Ranch Laguna and the service was absolutely amazing. Sage checked me in and she was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. I absolutely adored her. Katya also helped me a lot and was so sweet and informative. Greg was my main personal driver and he went above and beyond with incredible kindness, great recommendations, excellent communication, and a wonderful attitude. One night I had Ricky as a driver and he was just as amazing even though I didn’t get to see him as often. The entire staff was incredible. There was a man at the front desk, I think his name was Garrett, who was so kind to me, especially for my birthday. Andrea, the cleaning lady, was sweet and thorough and another male staff member who cleaned rooms was always smiling and welcoming. My water was always available and they even made me a beautiful dessert with champagne for my birthday which I truly appreciated. The dark chocolate with sea salt bedside were fantastic. I highly recommend the farm tour and McKenna, I think that was her name, was absolutely delightful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. The daily live music was wonderful, the musicians were talented and added such a relaxing vibe to the resort. Staying in the Creek Room was lovely. I got to see ducks in the creek and it was conveniently close to the lobby. The walk was nice sometimes though golf carts were available. The only minor thing was hearing a little noise from neighbors, but it really wasn’t a big deal. I also asked for a late checkout when leaving. I had hoped for a 4 PM checkout as an American Express Platinum member, but they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate it. No big deal, now I know I can insist next time. As an American Express Platinum member, I got upgraded which was a lovely touch and they offer a great deal for free breakfast daily. I loved the shower products, the turndown service, and the overall low-key natural vibe of the resort. It was the perfect escape from everyday hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for a relaxing, nature-filled experience in Laguna rather than a busy beach scene, this is the spot. I really appreciated the thoughtful and attentive service and will definitely be coming back.

We have enjoyed dining and listening to music at the Ranch over the years and decided to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary by spending a couple of nights here. Our stay was exceptional. Our room was beautiful and the bottle of sparkling water and chocolate dipped strawberries was a perfect touch. We enjoyed all of our meals here, especially our Anniversary dinner with friends out on the patio. The atmosphere, service and attention to detail was perfect. Absolutely loved our stay at the ranch. We were beyond impressed with food & cocktails in the restaurant & how they use mostly home grown ingredients straight from the farm onsite (side note that you can do a free tour around the farm). Wassain (I think that was our servers name in the restaurant) was so lovely & went above & beyond. Love that parking is free & the room was so well equipped. The tablet to order things & get more details is such a helpful & incredible touch. The free trolley bus that stops right outside was great to get to the local shops & restaurants.

We went here for our mini moon (short honeymoon). The rooms were immaculate, service was awesome, staff were super nice. The food at the their restaurant Harvest was beyond expectations. We did the farm tour (highly recommend). Beach access is across the street and either a short walk away or staff will shuttle you on demand. There are chairs and umbrellas that the Ranch provides upon request at the Lost Pier Café. First come, first serve. Overall, we loved our stay. One more thing, the beds are extremely comfortable, I don't think I ever slept as long and well as I did during our stay.

Attended a wedding at The Ranch. Did not stay on property but I sure wish we did! Absolutely stunning grounds and it looks like a perfect place for both a family vacation and a romantic getaway! Can't find that flexibility often! The staff that handled the actual wedding was spectacular! Highly recommend The Ranch!

It’s a very cozy place to visit, especially if you can enjoy dinner outside while watching the sunset. The atmosphere feels perfect for celebrating a special occasion rather than just grabbing a quick bite. From the moment you’re greeted at the reception to the moment you leave, the staff make sure you feel welcomed and well taken care of. Chef JJ even came by our table personally to check that everything was to our satisfaction. He was professional, attentive, and his dishes were absolutely 5 stars—I highly recommend his food. The only downsides are the limited parking and the entrance, which is shared with what looks like a water treatment facility. It does take away from the first impression, but only for a few seconds until you’re inside, where the experience completely makes up for it. This really is a hidden gem you’d only hear about through word of mouth.

We had an amazing three days at the Ranch. The service was top notch and we enjoyed just relaxing at the resort. We did the farm tour that was really fun, dinner at Harvest, a day at the pool and the music at night was really great to enjoy the evening hours. The bartender filled in one of the nights performing such great music with an awesome set list.... our favorite evening. Shout out to our waiter Scott for all the great local culture although honestly all of our servers were fantastic. We will be back!

Went in the morning for a quick 9 holes and it was a great course. Grounds were well kept and the greens were well maintained. It was a gorgeous golf course embedded in the Laguna canyon which was cool The parking was a little confusing and we think it's valet only. Also, it was 105 a person for a 9 hole par 3, which is a little pricey. I think it's great to try but probably won't go again any time soon

We stayed at The Ranch at Laguna Beach for five nights and unfortunately felt underwhelmed by the overall experience. From the start, staff engagement was noticeably lacking. At most luxury hotels, you're greeted by name, and there’s a sense of personal attention. That was not the case here. We were surprised that even after several days, there was no recognition from the staff and there was no engagement at all from simply passing by staff. On occasion when we stopped by to grab water before heading out, we were questioned about whether we were actually guests at the property—odd considering the relatively small number of rooms and that we had been there for several days.. The gift shop staff were another letdown. The employees we encountered there lacked personality or any sense of hospitality, which added to the feeling that guest service just isn’t a priority. Communication was also a problem. We had inquired about the farm tour multiple times, but received little information and no real accommodation or flexibility around the scheduling. When we tried to attend, we found the experience disorganized and not worth the effort. We stayed in Building 8, directly facing the clubhouse—and that came with its own issues. One night, a wedding went past midnight, and we could hear loud guests returning to their rooms well after the event had ended. Sleep was nearly impossible. The in-room amenities also were a let down. The TVs only offered basic cable, with no streaming options or ability to mirror content from our devices. In a resort of this caliber, that was unexpected and disappointing. The advertised hike that supposedly overlooks the property didn’t actually offer any views of the resort, which felt misleading.. Finally, basic room service was inconsistent. We had to request body wash and hand soap multiple times. Even after repeated requests, the hand soap was never replenished—we ended up using body wash from the shower just to wash our hands… All in all, while the setting is beautiful, the level of service and overall value fell far short of what we expected. We would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to the guest experience.
