Had to hop on here and share a recent experience at one of my FAVORITE places to eat! We had such a great time and were greeted by fresh warm bread… my favorite part! Followed by amazing courses (always got to get a cali roll to start things off!), I’m a big salmon gal so that was my plate of choice, it was cooked to perfection and one thing about KFH is they know what they’re doing with the portions! I even had some to take home! I did want to specifically shout out the floor manager Vanessa, who was extremely attentive and actually made time to check in with our table AND refill my glass (and even grab me a few lemons lol) which I think says a lot about this location! Vanessa and team, thank you for a great experience! I’m sure I will see you soon!

We had a great experience at King’s Fish House! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. What really made the night stand out was our waiter (Belem) he was absolutely amazing: friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Excellent service and great food all around. We’ll definitely be back!

I would like to give recognition to Vanessa, the manager I met on Saturday night. We had a slight issue with the service, and Vanessa immediately stepped in and corrected the situation, ensuring my husband and I had a great experience during our date night. She was extremely professional, personable, and had such a warm approach. thank you, Vanessa, for making our experience at King’s Fish House wonderful. We will definitely be back for more date nights. Also—the food was great!

Shout out to the manager Vanessa. She’s doing an amazing job and really understands hospitality/customer service. I come in often and usually sit at the bar with no issues. Today one appetizer didn’t come out, so I asked to have it taken off the bill. Vanessa handled it right away and even comped chowder and dessert. My mom and I left very satisfied with the service. The food was great and Scott and Brock at the bar are always on point.

First time here while delivering a Christmas Gift to family. We drove from Redondo Beach and wanted to grab something to eat before hitting the road back home. I'm not used to an In & Out without a huge line in a drive thru, in fact, this location doesn't even have a drive thru. Yet, the place was busy at 9:45 pm on a Tuesdsy. This In-N-Out is very close to my hospital. So I visit this location a lot. There is always plenty of parking spot in front of this place. I had such an outstanding experience at In-N-Out Burger that I felt compelled to share! The restaurant was very clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless, which immediately set a great tone. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks to their very friendly and helpful staff — everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. The real highlight came when my elderly mom accidentally left her bag behind. It had everything inside — her credit card, ID, cash, and more. I called their customer service line, and the representative I spoke with was extremely helpful and reassuring. They quickly located the bag, and Brad personally returned it to us. I am beyond grateful for the honesty and integrity shown by the customer service team and the staff at this location. It’s rare to find that kind of care these days, and it turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful reminder of how kind people can be. The staff here are incredibly kind and smart — they got all of my orders correct right away (which is impressive since I had a lot of them). They even gave me a box so I could easily carry everything, which was so thoughtful. My coming here was to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. We were joined by another cousin, and sat outside in the covered and heated patio. The restaurant is spacious, and clean. Affording a variety of seating: booths, tables, and bar; and an outdoor patio. Service was friendly, patient, and helpful. I started with a cup of their New England clam chowder that is very good. Bread and butter was brought out. It was a sourdough bread served warm. My entree of choice was the macadamia crusted halibut; with garlic mashed potatoes and organic (?) carrots. I liked the mashed potatoes. The carrots I didn’t like as much. A variety of different colors, and not all cooked consistently as some were nice and tender; and others a touch undercooked or raw. The halibut at first had me expecting a great filet that is flaky and tender. It was a conundrum of the crust being softened by the sauce, and the fish overcooked and a bit dry. We had a pleasant time. The server was kind in bringing my cousin a dessert compliments of her birthday. I believe it was a key lime pie? I had the bread pudding which was very good. The men’s room is okay. It wasn’t a complete mess. The strange part is having to walk through the restaurant, step outside to the patio area, and then enter the men’s room. The women’s room is inside. I’d return for the clam chowder. That was the best part of my meal. Then I’d try something else besides the halibut. The restaurant is suitable for all party sizes. I’d recommend coming early, or coming late. Peak times may result in a long wait. Sorry, no photos taken.

We love King's and go there often. I only wish they would realize that not everyone likes raw oysters, but do like cooked oysters and offer fried oysters, Oysters Rickefeller or other cooked items. They used to have fried oysters and later when they were off the menu they would make them if you asked. Now they don't.

Excellent halibut 👍👍. Crab cakes mostly breading and no seasoning-just awful👎👎. Seafood chowder had unpleasant fishy tasting fish in it👎. Spinach a bit bitter and unseasoned 👎.

This was my first time dining here and I actually got a takeout order because I was pet sitting nearby. I called in my order and it was ready within the time quoted The meal I ordered was grilled shrimp and scallops with veggies and potato for a to go order When I got home to open my order. I was a little dissatisfied about the appearance. The shrimp were good. The scallops were a little rubbery that was kind of a disappointment considering the meal was over $30 for a to go. I didn’t think that the price was worth the food at all. This was maybe a $15-$20 meal definitely not 30 for a takeout. When I went to wait everyone was very friendly and helped me right away. My order was correct, but it was just a little underwhelming for the price of a takeout and the quality of the seafood wasn’t top-quality as far as the scallops go The shrimp was OK but not the best I’ve had.

I recently visited King’s Fish House and had a mixed experience. The menu had a great variety of options, which was a plus, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, the food itself was underwhelming. We ordered the King’s Seafood Combo, Mahi Mahi Grilled Tacos, and Shrimp & Macaroni and Cheese. Unfortunately, the food was bland, lacked flavor, and was served cold, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the drinks were a highlight. I highly recommend the East Wing, the bartender’s special—it was well-made and enjoyable. If I were to return, I would likely stick to appetizers and drinks rather than a full meal. Overall, while the service and drink selection were good, the food quality needs improvement.

The crab cakes? Frozen, I'm pretty sure. The shrimp and scallops? Overcooked and rubbery - like chewing on a shoe. And don't even get me started on the orange slice, which seemed to have been left over from the Clinton administration. But hey, the clam chowder was... watery! And the service? Top-notch... if you only need your waitress to visit your table three times. BUT, there's hope! those oysters were shucked and presented like a work of art! And the cocktails? On point! So, here's the deal: if you want amazing oysters and decent drinks, King's Fish House is your spot. Just don't expect much else.

In-N-Out at Laguna Hills I have visit a lot of In-N-Out burger joints and I was impressed how dirty this one was. The floor was full of trash. The food was ok and they have a lot of staff, but I don’t understand why they were not cleaning the dinning area. The restrooms were smelly and the trash cans nasty full. They need a good cleaning crew, it looked like no one cleaned the restrooms the whole day.
