This is an awesome little place. We ordered our pizza, then went downstairs to the pub. The back patio was very nice with huge trees and great views.

LouEddie's Pizza in the San Bernardino Mountains offers a fantastic setting nestled between the trees, perfect for enjoying the pleasant summer weather. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the ordering process is a breeze. Their menu is impressive, catering to both meat eaters and vegans with a wide variety of options. We tried four different pies: BBQ Chicken, Classic Cheese, Greek, and White. Each was baked perfectly, with just the right amount of char on the crust. While the pizza's do take some time to bake, the wait is well worth it. The DIY Root Beer floats, made with the best ingredients, were a delightful treat .On the downside, they were out of garlic knots, but we did visit late in the day. Having visited hundreds of pizzerias, this marks my 25th pizzeria review, and LouEddie's Pizzaquicklyy makes it into my top five.

Definitely lives up to the hype. The pizzas were some of the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had and the White Out Pizza was the best on the menu! We got there at about 7pm on a Saturday night first week of March. Wasn’t too busy but we waited about an hour for the pizzas at our table. There is a sign in the front that says “if you’re in a hurry you’re in the wrong place” so you should know what you’re in for after that. The downstairs saloon area has great atmosphere and it was cold so we ordered hot cider which was great. Unfortunately they’d run out of garlic knots which I was disappointed about so if you really want those go early in the day. You order at the counter and then find yourself a seat after that. So no reservations and you just line up. Good selection of alcoholic drinks and the food was great. It’s simple yet it works. You get disposable paper plates and cutlery so I’m assuming that helps when it’s busy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The outside area would be awesome in the summer!

Kyle the Bartender was super friendly, conversational, and gave the perfect chianti recommendation for our pizza. Pizza itself was delicious, had the Summer's Delight with white sauce + mushrooms, fantastic! Fresh ingredients, nothing was overpowering, and plenty of veggies. They charge extra for ranch, but nothing to cry home about. The atmosphere, however, was absolutely gorgeous. You are nestled amongst the evergreens with a patio built around the forest rather than through it. No surprise they do weddings here.

I visited a little while ago, about six months or so, sorry for the late feedback. Getting to LouEddies from Highland area was a bit of a hassle due to some construction along the 330, so travel time took a half hour longer than expected. Be aware this is a common occurance if you are traveling a distance to get there. Once inside (this was a Tuesday) we were only the second folks in the building, so seating was open. Ordering was easy and since there were so few people, our pizza came out in about 20 minutes. We got the LouEddies special. Our impression was this was a good, but not great pizza, with generous enough meat, though the pepperoni and sausage seems a little under-powered flavourwise. The crust was a notch above good. Usually we rate a restaurant based on returnability, and we agreed that a return trip to try something else would be required to make a thorough evaluation. It was fun to watch the guys make the pizza in front of us. Very cleanly done with gloves and all.

Arrived at 5:30p on 12/28 and was told it was a two hour wait for pizza (take out or eat in.) We assumed there would be a wait as there aren't many options on the mountain but 2 hours for a couple of pies seems crazy. The we're not answering their phone or taking online orders either. Thankfully they have a freezer full of pizzas we opted for along with some good salads. Not the experience we were hoping for but good non the less. If you plan to visit on a weekend or holiday I would recommend swinging by 1.5-2 before to place your order

Pizza dough is awesome but the toppings amount feels off balance for the pizza size but still good after a day of hiking. Can be super busy. Wait can be 1- 1.5 hours around dinner time. Don’t bother ordering cannoli. For any Italian out there, you will know what I am taking about.

My husband & I came here to try their pizza for the first time yesterday evening during our weekend getaway/ wedding anniversary..Because we didn’t plan ahead of time and just show up there, we didn’t realize that it’ll take an hour & half before we could get our order. It was Mad Greek & LouEddie’s special.. so they say, beautiful things come to those who wait.. it’s truly good.. but if I have known, i would have just called ahead and just stay in our cabin until then.. Mad Greek is on the saltier side.. i like salty food but i felt my kidneys kick me back for a bit. Ate it and drink tons of water. Pizza dough is awesome. I prefer LouEddie’s. In the end, my husband & I found this place as something we can recommend.

Handmade pizza served up in the woods. Literally surrounded by dense beautiful trees with a sprawling patio and some indoor seating. Order your food upstairs and then head on down to order your drinks and find a good seat. In the summer you’ll find live music almost (maybe every) night. The food runners and bartender were friendly. Bruschetta was okay not great. We had the meatball pizza and the special. They were good. Served 4 adults with left overs!

Delicious pizzas here! Service is very efficient despite how busy they can be. We ordered over the phone on July 4 and it was about a 70 min wait. Wasn’t an issue for us cuz we were enjoying our Airbnb stay. They were on time with the takeout order. Part of me wishes we ate there cuz their downstairs outside patio was a vibe. Interested in dining in over there in the future. We loved our pizza orders and would come again. It’s 8 slices for a regular pizza. Probably would request for a larger size if you want to share it with others. Would assume they have that option. Just wish our BBQ Chicken pizza didn’t come out burnt. Will give them the benefit of the doubt. They were busy. BBQ Chicken: 4.5/5 Margarita Pizza: 4/4

What a hidden gem for delicious pizzas with some influence from Italy and other European countries. The wait time for their pizzas can range from 1-2 hours but it is definitely worth it. This restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful view and has an ambient setting (if you are dining inside). I recommend you try their signature pizza and white out pizza. They also sell their pizzas frozen so you can take some of those delicious pizzas home.

I wanted to love this place because of the fun branding and the nice employees, but it’s just really expensive for what it is. The pizzas aren’t bad but just not amazing enough to justify $20 or more for a 13” pie. I personally found the mozzarella they use to taste a little bit low quality. I will say the garden salad is very good and definitely worth ordering.

It was over an hour wait for the pizza/food to come out. I came here because of the reviews online. I came in around 2pm and it was very busy. This place is pretty popular but it seems as if they are unprepared to handle being as busy as it gets. There is seating in the back which is nice but fills up quick. My suggestion is to order ahead and then find a spot to eat and going on a warmer day is ideal. Waiting over an hour in cold weather is not ideal. Also eating outside made the food get cold pretty quickly. The food was good but definitely not worth the wait.

Just to clarify; if I could rate the food here a 4.5/5 stars, I would. The food was (largely) not the issue with this place at all. The food was high quality, tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was also beautiful, being up in the woods on a mountainside, rural little wooded town. You could not ask for a better atmosphere, in my opinion. What were the issues, then? For one, the effectively non-existent service or customer support, being ridiculously overpriced, and the tiny portion sizes when it came to drinks and salad/appetizers. People had to get up, go up stairs and ask for their own refills, same with napkins, and nobody once came to our table to check in and ask how the food and everything was. Also, the prices at this place are more like what you would expect to see at a luxury pizza restaurant with exceptional service. Also, there was a young “couple” next to us that were being very disruptive and obnoxious. This place overall was OK at best and sub-par at worst. No more, no less. Good food, excellent atmosphere, atrocious service and detached, rude, seemingly ungrateful employees and business management
