The Crystal Palace offers a magical character dining experience with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Customers rave about the attentive service, fun character interactions, and the buffet's variety, including options for dietary restrictions. Some find it expensive, but worth it for the experience.
Tip: Make reservations in advance. Consider the cost of quick service meals and drinks in the park when evaluating the buffet's value.
Food was delicious and service was on point. The cinnamon sugar waffles were the best part, I could’ve eaten a thousand but only managed two. Drinks were refilled without even asking, fresh smoked salmon was amazing, and the shrimp and grits hit the spot. Characters made it fun, they really take their time at each table. Yes it was pricey, but totally worth it for the character experience and the tasty food options. I’d go back for sure. Pro tip: go early to breakfast, we went at 8:10am, got preferred parking in Aladdin lot and got early access to the park.
We loved our visit to Crystal Palace! Our son had the best time meeting Winnie the Pooh and the characters, and he couldn’t get enough of the mac and cheese. The shrimp and grits were delicious and well seasoned, and the staff was so friendly and kind. A fantastic character dining experience!
Great food and a beautiful restaurant. The characters took a very long time to come around. Didn’t seem to have all the toppings for Mickey Chuorroh waffles, but the food was still great.
This was one of the most cute experiences I've been to. The whole cast was amazing, the food was delicious, I ended up having indigestion from all the food I ate and I forced myself to try because there was so delicious 🤤. Was it expensive? Yes, of course. Was it a buffet type? Yes, it was and it was amazing 😍. Was it all worth it? Every second was, I have no complains about the price, the food, the staff, the cast members. I'll 100% go back and do it again.
Morning well spent with Winnie the Pooh and friends 🐻🐷🐅🫏💛🩷🧡🩶🍯🐝 Must visited place in Magic Kingdom 🏰🪄 Spending my brunch with my friends (including Pooh Piglet Tigger Eeyore) It was a core memory that day even it’s raining outside cause it’s summer in Florida 🤣 But still we have so much fun inside😋💝 The food is good (it’s all we can eat buffet) and every cast member treated us well and we loved it so much!!! Happy me for the rest of my day there at MK, hope everyone enjoyed eating at the Crystal Palace and don’t forget to ask for the Postcard of Winnie the Pooh and friends!!! Super duper cute!!! I’ll cherish this morning forever love xoxo 💘
I brought my daughter here for her birthday and I have to say we had such a lovely experience. My daughter loved the buffet because they had lots of kid friendly options and my mom and I loved the food as well! The characters were so cute too and took their time with each table. I will also say the service is great. We were sat right in time and our server Kaitlin was so nice and incredibly sweet to my daughter.
This was my second visit and a few things changed, but to be fair it had been about 8 years and a major pandemic. The food was good, I tried the shrimp and grits, pork, mashed potatoes, tri colored carrots, peel and eat shrimp and salad all was delicious. My little enjoyed the kids buffet selection and of course the ice cream machine. Our server Gustavo made our experience special and ensured we got face time with each of the traveling characters and reminded us to visit pooh before we left. He is a stationary character now. Our experience was top notch considering they completely changed my reservations by several hours to accommodate our needs.
Went for breakfast and had a great time. The buffet had plenty of unique options, especially the churro Mickey waffles (however they’re better on Disney cruises). The service was top notch and the characters were fun to interact with. Definitely in my top 5 Disney World breakfasts. Don’t wait until the end of your meal to see Pooh or you’ll be waiting in a long line with everyone else who had the same idea.

This place has nice food! Winnie the Pooh Character experience gives you personal time with each character.
Magical buffet with Pooh and his pals!! You get to meet Pooh eyore piglet and tigger. Food was so good! Patrick was the best server!! He was really fun and attentive! It’s a good place to dine if you want to meet characters and have a nice variety of food to choose from! We were pleased. I also recommend the margarita on the menu it was very well balanced. Altogether a very magical time.
2021 Reopening Review: no longer a buffet, but a family style meal with delicious entrees for an all-you-care-to-eat price. We had the pork chop and the prime rib. Both were excellent. Biscuits and flavored spreads were served alongside a spring-mix style salad, both of which were very good. Desserts were served, however there's alot left to be desired in these. The chocolate banana tart was the best.
Crystal Palace is the best character dining at Magic Kingdom. It’s buffet-style with a wide variety of options for brunch and lunch. The kids loved the Pooh characters. The only down side is it takes over an hour for all of them to make their way to your table when it’s crowded. Even so I highly recommend.
My husband and I took our toddler to The Crystal Palace for lunch (in January) and we all LOVED it! It was not too crowded and our toddler got to interact with all of the Winnie the Pooh characters multiple times. The food was really flavorful, especially for buffet food. There were also a lot of options to choose from - prime rib, really well seasoned broccoli, mashed potatoes, glazed rainbow carrots, cajan pasta, shrimp and grits, Italian sausage onions and peppers, roasted chicken, salad bar etc. The desserts were adorable and delicious. Overall, this was one of our favorite meals at Disney!!
This place is a blast. Our server, Uncle Dale, was funny, witty, and sarcastic. One of his other tables (with a guy he dubbed scruffy) didn’t appreciate it as much as we did. The food was very filling and scrumptious. Even the green beans which I don’t normally like were enjoyable. Helpings we’re good sized. The deserts were very generous and tasted amazing. Highly recommend a reservation here.
Food was delicious and lots of options in the buffet including chicken, pork loin, prime rib, and several dessert options as well. Plan to spend 30-45 min there to make sure you meet all the characters! Winnie the Pooh Bear, Tigger, Piglet, and Eyeore were there when we went and my kids loved it so much and the characters were so good at interacting with everyone.
during our week stay in disney world, this was the best breakfast place we dined at. there were many options of food to choose from, and it was all fresh and so good. the “churro mickey waffles” were SO GOOD. I could’ve ate 10. 😂 yes, the price is steep, but it’s disney, it’s unlimited food, and it’s character dining. it’s worth the money especially if you’re on the dining plan like we were. definitely one of the best buffets in the parks. this will be my #1 pick on our next trip.
Went here for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. The service is attentive and doesn’t rush the guests. Winnie the Pooh characters walking around was quite fun. There are many options for food, and all of it was well prepared- our favorite were the cinnamon sugar Mickey donuts. Would definitely recommend while in Disney.
no characters today, but the prime rib and pork loin were both excellent. and the staff kept the drinks coming once your first cup hits the halfway mark. On a hot day like today, that alone is worth it. And they will refill your water bottles, canteens, thermos, camelbaks, etc for you if you ask. tip well. more pics to come.
$60 for a buffet is a little steep in my opinion, but then again, everything in Disney is a little steep. With that being said, this buffet was worth every penny because of the staff and the characters and the food. We enjoyed every second. The characters really go out of their way to spend time at each of the tables regardless of your age.
Wonderful Easter Brunch at Crystal Palace. I felt so easeful eating here! They respected my food allergies and were very accommodating of Celiac Disease. Our server was very kind and personable. It is a buffet, but I was uncomfortable eating from the buffet because of cross contamination. He had the chef come out and talk to me and he made me whatever I wanted in the kitchen. The Mickey Waffles are gluten and dairy free! Muffins and doughnuts too! Fabulous Mimosas! We all enjoyed our food and our time with the Winnie the Pooh characters! A big shoutout to Emanuel and Chris for taking such good care of us!
We have always gone to the Crystal Palace when at Disney. We are big fans of the breakfast buffet. We also really enjoy the omelettes made to order. Pooh and friends are our favorite Disney characters and you get to meet them all while dining here. Many great photo opportunities. Great food, great Pooh characters and all with family is unbeatable!
Had a great experience at the new Crystal Palace. Instead of being a buffet, they now serve the appetizer and the dessert family style, shared among the table, and you get to select one entree for each member of the party. The appetizer was a salad and a basket of cornbread. Both were good, but not spectacular. For the entrees, we got the blackened catfish and shrimp, pork chops, fried chicken, and prime rib. The blackened catfish and shrimp came with grits, and it was excellent, among the best I've had at other restaurants. It was not very spicy, but had really good flavor. The prime rib was also fantastic. We ordered it medium, and it was tender with great flavor. The fried chicken and pork chops were also good, and would recommend if you're in the mood for either, but not necessarily the best I've had. I did appreciate the server offered if we wanted all white meat all dark meat for the chicken, which was nice to be able to customize. The desserts were a lot of fun to share at the table. They brought out four desserts: hummingbird cake, banana pie, chocolate cupcake, and strawberry shortcake. The hummingbird cake and banana pie we're both really unique and moist, and my personal favorites. However, if you don't like banana, you won't like either. The cupcake and shortbread were good but not memorable. Still, being able to try all four desserts was fun for the whole party. They're not doing the character meet and greets yet at the restaurant, but it was still an enjoyable experience at Magic Kingdom.
I enjoyed my dinner in January. Great prime rib shrimp chicken salad. Desserts were just ok but you dont really have room for much of that anyway.
My husband and I came here for the first time in January on our honeymoon and we had a blast! The food was good but we're all there for the experience. We had so much fun when Pooh Bear and his friends started walking around saying hi to everyone. I told Pooh Bear I was on my honeymoon and wanted to see him and showed him my magic band and jersey with him and his friends on it and the reaction was great! They were all so happy and having a good time which meant the kids AND the adults were all having a good time. Our server was so, so sweet, attentive and obviously really loves her job. Her energy was great! It was such a fun night and we're so glad we did this!
Terrific buffet diner with very excellent service. As soon as you walk in, the greeters immediately call you friends as they escort you to your table. The wait staff is very attentive to anything you need in a timely manner. The all you can eat buffet was excellent and consisted of prime rib, fried chicken, salad bar, pastas, tater tots, vegetables, and plenty of deserts. The prices are kind of high, but it is well worth it and I left well-satisfied. With excellent food, very friendly staff, and pleasant environment, I give this place my full recommendation.
Price is steep! But it's a fun atmosphere where you'll meet Pooh, Tigger, Eyore, Piglet.. the buffet has a lot of options, even for vegans, vegetarians, and people like me who can't eat sugar, gluten, or dairy. The cast is eager to help answer any questions and bring out the chef if need be! The roast beef is phenomenal, I enjoyed the little potatoes, honey glazed salmon, fresh fruit, shrimp, and a cup of coffee. You dine for the experience of characters, that's the main pull, so the food being pretty great is a bonus, just know that you're going into a dining experience and not a high-level restaurant.
A definite must for families with kiddos who love Winnie the Pooh and friends- the character dining is so much fun. They interact and dance and the buffet was really good too. As you’re dining the characters come around to your table which makes interacting fun and easy. The crystal Palace itself is beautiful with stained glass windows and very, very clean. A lot is drinks included like soda, coffee and juices. Desert station with ice cream machine. The service was phenomenal and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We love this place! I highly recommend making a reservation on the Disney app before you go because especially character dining is booked far in advance. Park admission to Disney’s Magic Kingdom is required to be able to eat at this restaurant. Yes, character dining is pricy but it is so worth it for the experience. Disney is truly magical.
As to be expected with any character dining option, it's expensive. We paid a bit over $100 for two adults, and we usually get full after one plate each so maybe it's not worth the steep price for us, dining wise. But my wife absolutely loves Pooh Bear and I prefer the dining experiences where you're guaranteed to see characters than spending x amount of minutes waiting in a long line to meet them. It's very nice having them come by your table and being able to spend a few minutes talking to them. Eeyore was the best interaction we had, we was full of hugs and was downright adorable. We ended up missing Tigger because he finished his rotation on our side right after we were seated, but it wasn't the end of the world. We went for lunch. The buffet had plenty of options and everything there was quite tasty. There's soft serve machines, macaroni, potatoes, salad, mini cupcakes and cake, these little s'mores treats. You also get drinks. You get a postcard too with all the characters signatures on it. Overall, Crystal Palace is very cute and worth the price tag for anyone that's a big fan of Pooh, kid or a kid at heart.
There is really nothing more Magical than Disney World! We came to Disney world in Orlando the first time over 38 years ago and just loved it. Frequently people wonder where to eat?? When you are visiting Magic Kingdom you will find the Crystal Palace. It offers a nice buffet and all the dressed up characters. Such a pretty restaurant and If you can get a table right at the window (need to request and might have to wait extra time) you can even watch the fireworks. It is a wonderful experience and a must visit!
Absolutely love this place! Before the pandemic classic characters like Pooh, Tiger, Piglet and Eeyore would roam around taking pictures with guests. Now, you get to see them as topiary figures when you walk in. The staff was very pleasant and made our 2021 Valentine’s Day experience one to remember! Great food! Highly recommend!
Let's meet Pooh and his friends! This was absolutely one of my favorite dining spots in Magic Kingdom and I highly recommend Disney visitors to experience this at least once, if not more times in their life. Our reservations were for 1245 but they allowed us to check in about half an hour early. They were very accommodating and sat us almost immediately! We were greeted at the door by a very fun-loving hostess who showed us to our seats. Within seconds our waitress stopped by to take our drink order and explain the experience of dining there. She was wonderful. Thank you Melanie! (Yes, we share the same name, haha!) There was a great assortment of dinner food and cute little desserts (my favorite was the honey bee flan, YUM!) There has everything from shrimp cocktail, to mash potatoes, and even prime rib, but my go to was their shrimp creole and the kids mac n cheese. The cost was definitely on the more expensive end for Disney dining ($61/person). But I felt it was worth it. They also have a fun character experience in which we were able to meet Pooh and his friends! It takes about 75 minutes for all 4 friends to cycle around to each table but Pooh and Tigger came around within the first 5 minutes of being seated so that was great. All in all, this was one of my favorite experiences thus far this time in disney. Definitely worth the visit if you're okay with the cost. Remember, you are paying for a meal and an experience all in one.
5 of us including a small child. My first time indoor dining in ~14 months (outdoor wasn't an option). All waiters wore a face mask and face shield. Waiter explained only decision we make is the entree, since they'd bring out both available starters (seasonal salad and cornbread muffin/ cheddar-bacon) then desserts (peach cobbler, banana cream pie, hummingbird cake, and chocolate cupcake). We asked if the child could forego ordering, and instead share one of the adult orders, and the waiter said he'd have to ask management, so instead we ordered the seared catfish for him from the kid's entrees section. Tiny serving for a tiny person. Several of us got the blackened catfish and shrimp/grits, which I loved. One got the brown sugar-glazed pork chop, which I shared and liked, but another said it was too dry. The waiter asked if we wanted extra plates of the starters, and again later with desserts. That seemed generous, though maybe only fair given it's pricey. We only accepted an extra salad. I thought the desserts were all very good, and had to restrain myself from taking a second plating. This would be a 4 star review if I represented the sense I got from the overall group, but I personally loved it, so 5 from me.
Yes, it’s expensive! It’s Disney! If you are looking for excellent food with an amazing character experience, this is the place to eat. We got autographs and pictures with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. It is buffet style, so you will get your food quickly, but you will wait a long time for all the characters to get to your table. Plan your day accordingly. Probably best to do around 1-1:30 for lunch so you get to do all the rides in the morning and then the parade at 3.
We went to the Crystal Palace restaurant for our Honeymoon dinner! Our waitress was very nice! Always came by to check on us & was very helpful! The food was also delicious! 😋 My favorite part of the restaurant is the character interactions! We had the characters visit our table & it was very memorable & exciting! 😍
What an epic Disney Feast in the most beautiful restaurant that imparts such grandeur! It’s a wonderful buffet that includes unlimited basic drinks like milk, juice, and soda. The quality of all the food was amazing and very fresh. Such a vast array of different food items from different cuisines are offered. I highly recommend the churro Mickey waffles which not only look cute but taste amazing!!! They even have self serve soft serve ice cream! The best time to go is 1015-1045 because that’s when you can enjoy both the breakfast and the lunch offerings for the price of breakfast! Got to enjoy prime rib, fresh strawberries, smoked salmon, beautiful cheesecakes and Disney themed desserts galore, Mac and cheese variations, shrimp and grits, charcuterie, so many cheeses and salads, fried chicken, and so much more! Plus, the characters visit your table for personal interaction. You get to see ,hug, and talk with Piglet, Tigger, and Pooh who happily pose for pictures with you. Totally worth it and it will leave you full for the rest of your day at the Disney park.
It makes me sad to read that others experience was not the same as ours. We really enjoyed the food! There were many different protein options, lots of veggies and side dishes to choose from, along with a salad bar! There were multiple desserts to choose from and a soft serve machine as well. We were able to be visited by all characters. We heard that they are on a 90 minute rotation during the heavy lunch rush so you have to be patient to see them. Take your time eating if you really want to see the characters. We did not feel rushed during our time here either like we had to go and give up our seats. We would love to come back to try breakfast sometime!
Love this breakfast with the most adorable Pooh and friends! We booked our time around 10:40 for breakfast, but we were lucky to also get a taste of the lunch food because they were switching out the breakfast food around 11:00. It was really fun to meet and greet the characters, they circle around the whole restaurant multiple times so it's a great opportunity to get photos, autographs and hugs. This is definitely one of the more popular character dining at Magic Kingdom with an incredible amount of food selection. For example for breakfast there are Mickey waffles, omelet station, amazing fried French toast, fruits, breakfast lasagna etc. And for lunch, there are roast beef/pork, fried chicken drumsticks and wings, seafood, salad, peel-to-eat shrimps, specialty soups, and an awesome selection of desserts as well! There's even soft serve ice cream that you can swirl for yourself too. Overall the food tastes absolutely delicious, we were so full by the end of the meal that we weren't hungry for the rest of the day. Breakfast Buffet - $38.00
Love love love Crystal Palace for Breakfast! This is classic Disney! Such an iconic spot with so many options for absolutely anyone. Weve even had someone with tree nut / shellfish allergies in our party and they provided a really detailed list on what items to avoid, it was great! The food is absolutely fabulous. I’ve been daydreaming about the shrimp &grits, churro waffles, cheesy potatoes since we got back! I also got a Jack Rose cocktail at our amazing servers suggestion to and it was the best I had outside of Epcot. The characters were so sweet and really took their time with each table. They also have car seat friendly highchairs. It’s a must do each trip for me!
Our best overall dining experience of the trip. Food was very good and expansive for a buffet. Service was great. Characters came around to every table. Would definitely recommend for families.
The bathrooms looked amazing which I was in there for about ten minutes because of the ambiance. The food was amazing and the characters added to the Disney experience. I loved his place so darn much that I have come here every year since 1998!
Fun Winnie The Pooh character dining experience. One of the few places that serve alcohol at Magic Kingdom. Buffet with good food and child friendly options.
The breakfast was wonderful and worth the price for character dining. I’m not big on character meals, but the Winnie the Pooh characters were really cute and the attendants/friends do such a good job of capturing pictures. The character visiting system could use some work as we had to wait quite some time to see Tigger and Pooh, and saw eeyore and piglet twice in the time waiting for Pooh. I was worried we would be kicked out our table for waiting but our waitress confirmed we could stay and there wasn’t an issue for us to wait to see all. Brunch options were great- the churro waffles are worth the price alone 😂 Other favorites were the grits and bacon.
My wife is a Winnie the Pooh fan from childhood...this place made her day!!! No matter how old, your heart still goes back to the first memories, and worth everything to see her and her reactions. Will do it again real soon, and Kip ,our waiter, such a gentleman. Food was spot on,can't show pictures cause I was just that hungry!!!!

We loved this place. The staff were so good and lovely. We felt very Happy. All the animated character going in our table and took Pictures with us. It was a magical and Fun moment. The food was Good and the desserts very Good. How everything on Disney It was no cheap But It was a great experience. we will certainly return!
We visited for the first time and were truly amazed at how amazing all the cast members were. We did not feel rushed at all, the characters really took their time with everyone and made it such an enjoyable experience. Our server Manny was so kind and helpful with tips for the rest of our trip. The churro waffles do live up to the hype but I was even more impressed by their savory options! All the egg dishes were mouth watering and full of flavor. I’m not a sweet breakfast person so I was scared because I’ve only seen people share the pastries and churro waffles, but they have lots of savory options! This was the perfect start to a magical day.
What a great experience we had! We were running a few minutes late, but they got us in to a table with no problem. Food was excellent - very good for a buffet style service. Highly recommend trying the dinner (as opposed to breakfast), felt like we got great value compared to the cost. Beautiful atmosphere, loved the decor. And we got to meet and take pics with Pooh, Piglet, Pooh, and Eeyore. Staff was friendly and the service was top notch. Can't recommend this place enough - and keep an eye out for same day reservations as people cancel.
I loved this experience and am super glad we did it. Our kid LOVED the characters he met and just seeing them across the room. The buffet food was delicious, is obviously unlimited, and solid enough quality. Probably the only downside is the characters and the building don't match thematically.
We took my nieces here for a character experience and they really enjoyed it. We all liked the food and felt very well taken care of. My father and I both have food allergies and they really helped and provided us with what we needed. We so appreciated the staff and service here. We even asked for a window table that way we could see the fireworks at the castle at the end of the night which they so graciously did for us as well. You could not see them very well because of the trees outside but the kids still got to see them from a door close by. Needed the door propped open to hear the music. It was pretty packed in there so make sure you plan you reservation well. Also, when you get a text confirmation that your table is ready. Don't get up right away because they still need to come outside and call your name which might not be right away.

Came for the character dining during dinner time, and will come back next trip! We booked the dinner buffet here because we wanted to experience some character dining experience. Here you will meet the 100 Acre Woods characters - Tigger, Eyore, and Piglet walk around the restaurant, where Pooh was stationed at the very front for customers to come up to him instead. We went earlier than regular dinner time and it was nice and quiet and had ample time with each of the characters. Even Pooh didn't have a line unlike when we had left around 6. The food here was actually really good. It has your standard buffet style items like breads and salads. They also have a great selection of meats as well. I truly enjoyed the rainbow carrots and broccoli - seriously, I was in desperate need of some veggies from all the sweet snacks we had been eating. The salmon was also something I truly enjoyed. We were pretty full but I could never say no to a cookie and I spotted these cookies on the dessert table so I grabbed one. I was actually blown away - it was like a churro style cookie and blew my expectations out of the water! It was so good I went back up to grab a plate of just 4 more cookie. So so good! Not sure if they are available all year round, but they were some of the best cookies I had on Disney property without paying 6$ a cookie. I had such a great time here with the characters and the food was really good that I will definitely be coming back here on my future Disney World trips.
Breakfast was great! Have those churro Mickey waffles! The price was definitely Disney World pricing. Staff were absolutely fantastic. Nice to be able to meet Pooh and friends. Mostly just typical Disney buffet breakfast. Possibly a one-and-done visit. Much better than Be Our Guest. Would recommend at least once.
We booked breakfast (weeks ahead) for six at The Crystal Palace to start our day in Magic Kingdom. We waited probably less than five minutes to be called in to our table. Service was most friendly of course, maybe hard to get a coffee refill. The restaurant is lovely and bright. I thought the buffet was one of the better ones; the choices were plentiful with varieties of eggs and meats, French toast, waffles, pancakes, and on. My fave was a desert, a cinnamon bun with lots of gooey sauce and pecan pieces. They got a "yum". And the characters--after all, that's why we came. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore in turn circulated every 90 minutes, and spent time at each table, lots of fun and time to take photos.
I’m going to preface this review with saying I went into this knowing I was paying more for an “experience.” Disney did much better here regarding food quality than other places we have eaten in the parks. The grits, rice and potatoes were tasty. The ice cream was delicious. The chocolate chip cookies were pretty good too. The pork tenderloin was tough though. The waitress was attentive and helped remind me of the pass holder discount. This is a buffet style restaurant and they charge based on age even though my children basically ate from the kids area. We were seated within a few minutes of checking in. The restaurant was not busy with many of the tables empty when though we were there around 4:30 PM. It was a weekday when most schools were in, but the park was still busy enough. The characters therefore made their way through quickly and we definitely didn’t wait as long as some other reviewers. We saw all of them within 30-45 mins. Given the food is basically unlimited, including the drinks which is not the case at multiple other food places in the park, the price wasn’t horrible. Would I recommend it for everyone, especially those on a tight budget? Absolutely not. If you aren’t hungry when you come here, you will feel like it was a waste. Gratuity is not included. They really should given the international travelers that aren’t accustomed to tipping.
Booked in for a character dinner on a weekday. It's a beautiful building both inside and out. Standard Disney buffet setup inside with the same food available both sides of the buffet line with deserts in the middle. Food was ok but not the best we have had - salad area, prawns, a roast, mac n cheeese etc. Similar deserts as well. Character dining was on which is always great to see the characters work the room. However it was super noisy and mostly I think because of the acoustics of the building. We have been to busier character breakfasts/lunches and not had issue. Service was ok but with the bar high at Disney, we had seen better.

Very cute dining experience for a Winnie the Pooh aficionado! There’s always a line to get a table so make sure to make the reservation with ample time via the Disney app. Once inside, the restaurant is nicely decorated according to theme. Our server was extremely sweet and attentive throughout our entire time there. We got to meet Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and my personal favorite…Piglet! The characters will visit your table and will make you feel so special. Making time for pictures and autographs. My one complaint is the food. It’s nothing out of this world and you find yourself making long, slow lines to get food. So we found ourselves battling making the line for food and running back to the table to not miss the characters. Like any of the Disney character dinings, expect to spend a lot of money but make good use of your Disney Annual Pass for the discount. The price wasn’t worth the food but well worth the character dining experience!
We ate at Crystal Palace because we enjoyed the character dining at Hollywood Studios (Hollywood and Vine). Even though I was raised locally I never had an opportunity to enjoy a character dining up close in person and wanted to re live a childhood dream of mine. We spent about 1 hour and 15 minutes here for lunch and although we enjoyed meeting piglet and tigger we never got to see Pooh or Eeyore which was somewhat disappointing. Our waitress provided excellent customer service and let us know that people are welcome to stay as long as they would like until the characters come around. I wanted to write this review so that if you are booking with children and they are wanting to see every character be prepared to spend some time waiting for them to come around, especially if the restaurant is busy. *please also note that our waitress informed us that they no longer allow people to try to take photos with them while they are walking around other tables (understandable out of respect). We enjoyed our lunch and the restaurant has truly beautiful decor and again, the service was A+!
The food tasted amazing, but they have limited options. The meat also tasted a bit bland but everything else was so good I can’t complain. Loved the elegance of the restaurant and the characters walking around were Pooh, piglet, tiger, and eyor. It was super cute! Customer service was also spectacular. Our waiter Scott did a great job !!!
It was our first time dining at the crystal palace and I must say we really enjoyed it. I thought there was a good variety of food. Everything we tried we liked.. somethings more then others but we left pleasantly surprised..mashed potatoes were soo good and so were the green beans. The peel and eat shrimp was also a favorite of mine. I will say the desserts were underwhelming. Next time we go I won't even bother with dessert unless they have different options..
So on a whim we decided to go here instead of a quick service meal. Great choice since we ate here twice on our trip. They were able to get us right in and the service was impeccable. Great atmosphere and a change from the many places I have eaten over the years on Disney properties. I loved the amount of food and various options. So many drink options as well. Very family friendly yet a quiet place to eat. If you have any allergies or special requests they will accommodate it! My reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the character dining was not open yet. I get this is a slow process still, but overall I definitely recommend this place!
During our visit to Magical kingdom, we tried this Resturant, the waiting time was reasonable considering the time, people waiting their turn and the weather. The internal design is really nice, the servers dressed like in 19 century. Not much options to be honest But an available options for adults, kids , salads, sweets and main course. I would recommend to have more options ! It was Saturday and a lot of people do not East Sea food in saturdays ! It was pricey ,4 people ( 2 adults and 2 kids) was around 140$. The experience itself was great , eating while watching through the window Cinderella castle, enjoying the moment ! All that made it worth it. And most important that staff were all smiling and friendly. Especially when I asked and I have been told they get paid 6$ / hour which is extremely LOW!
The buffet is around $59 per adult. There’s a large variety of food, the best thing was probably the salmon and the prime rib. The only issue was that the 2nd and 3rd round of prime rib was way too red for my taste. The first one we had was perfect medium rare. The Winnie the Pooh characters come around and you can take pictures with them. It was a fun experience, the food can be better though.
The food was good but it was a lot of food. They start you with a salad and a mix of cornbread and bacon, cheddar, onion cornbread with butter and bacon jam. Person in our party with an allergy got plain gluten-free rolls and butter with a plain salad. You choose your entree so we had the blackened catfish, the pork chop, a kids macaroni and cheese, fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, and a plain prime rib (allergy). The chef came out to talk to the person in our party with an allergy and talked through the options they could have. The person chose the pork chop but since all the chops were marinated, the chef came back out to offer the prime rib. The person with the allergy said the food was bland but okay. The rest of us enjoyed our food. The desserts were all delicious and is served family-style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a neat experience once but our whole party decided we wouldn't go back again.

We entered this restaurant after the fireworks, Happily Ever After using special After Hours event at Magic Kingdom, so we were slightly worried that food might not be warm or fresh, but when we were there, they were still cooking food and all the food was hot. We are not big on buffet style meals, but this is one of the few exceptions. We tried the fried chicken, the pork tenderloin, and the roast beef meats. The roast beef with horseradish sauce was the winner between the 3 types. The sides and other entries were also good, but pro tip look at the kid buffet side if you want Mac and cheese. The rest of the kids buffet looked like a school lunch so we skipped. All the bread was a bit hard and old tasting. So I would skip the bread baskets unless they are hot. Otherwise every bread we tried was a bit hard. Their desserts are especially made based on the Winnie the Pooh characters, so they are cute. The bee flan was good, the strawberry cupcake was good but very artificial flavor tasting, the cookies were really good especially the chocolate chip one was still warm. The rest of the desert was good but nothing special, but as it is a buffet you might as well try. If you stay longer there, eventually you can meet all main characters from the Winnie the Pooh. When the characters went around tables, the employees checked if we already met and chatted with them or not. Including the character meet, the service was good.
Food was good had a lot of options. Buffet style. Service was pretty good. We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and didn't get seated until our actual reservation time due to waiting for our tables to clear. Strollers have to be kept outside. Characters made this reservation worth it. But it is VERY pricey for what you eat. We paid about $75 per person after gratuity which I don't think was worth the food itself. It's cool inside (temperature wise) so definitely gives you a good break from the Florida sun. Also very pretty restaurant and well lit due to windows and FL sun. If you come here enjoy the characters, take pics and eat as much as you can to get your money's worth.
great historic location with character dining but ... the quality of the food isn't good. comparing to other dinner restaurants inside the parks and at disney hotels. i stayed 10 days and tried a couple of places. this place is great and maybe magic but the quality of the food is at other places also with disney characters better.
I’m a bit torn on this place. The restaurant itself is lovely inside. Like a gilded age greenhouse. We had an early reservation before the park opened. It was easy. We’re resort guests so they let us in at 8am. The Main Street area is open then they rope you off from the lands but you can walk right to the restaurant. We grabbed a few photos in front of the castle with very few people around. We were seated pretty quickly and had a window table with a castle view. It was so magical for our daughter. From there its buffet, which I kind of hate because I never eat that much at breakfast but what can you do. The food, however, was excellent. We loved the grits, the potato casserole, the churro Mickey waffles are omgggg. Plenty of kids options to choose from. Just wish I could have made the most of it. The characters are cute. Eeyore, Pooh, tigger, and Piglet. They spend a couple minutes at each table which is really nice. The tables along the outside windows have plenty of room for interact. The tables in the middle are TIGHT though. They’re bigger tables for larger groups so didn’t matter to us but the chairs are back to back. The only disappointment was the staff. We normally have great staff interactions but the staff here were so cranky. It was really early but barely a smile from anyone. Our server was just okay. Professional but again, not friendly.
Went here for what the family has declared “Pooh Breakfast”. Food is very tasty, served in a buffet style. I liked their vegan option a lot and think generally anyone can find things that they want. The character interactions are very fun and I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad server whenever we were here. Pretty attentive with the size.

Brunch here was pretty disappointing. The buffet was lower quality than any other Disney buffet I've experience and wasn't worth the $60+ cost. Food wise, there's so many better options nearby.
Our experience here was disappointing. For 2 people our bill came to over $100 for pretty poor food. It was buffet style, and as most buffet restaurants, the food was cold, tasteless and dry. It was ok to eat but definitely not worth the price tag. We were so looking forward to this experience as a treat as we rarely dine on property, we are proud to say we won’t be returning. It is not worth the price you pay. Dining with the characters was great, but we did get missed once, meaning i had to speak up to have them visit us again. Interactions were no longer than a hug, laugh and photo and onto the next… highly disappointing and rushed.😕

You’re eating here for the experience, not the food! This is not to say the food is bad, but as a reminder to manage your expectations. The interior of this all-you-can-eat-buffet-style restaurant is beautiful and feels like you are inside of a magical greenhouse. Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet greet you at your table multiple times throughout your visit. Pooh, however, stays in the middle of the palace and you have to get in line to meet him. Even though the food is nothing crazy, visiting is a must for anyone who loves Pooh.
Decent food but overpriced for what you get even for a theme park. For two people it came to just under $100 for food/service/ambiance I'd be happy to pay more like $60 for. Service was definitely rushed; we were barely a few bites into the excellent salad when the entrees were there shoving them out of the way. The ambiance is best described as a dull roar from the conversation bouncing around the space.
Gorgeous restaurant with awesome theming. I got to try the dinner here and it was very cute. I was excited that it was all Winnie the Pooh themed. However the food was pretty terrible. It looked cute, especially the desserts. But they were not at all good. For the price, it’s not worth it for dinner. I ended up eating some of the kids menu items. It’s okay maybe for lunch if you use the dining plan but not if you pay. If you LOVE Winnie the Pooh it’s a great photo opportunity for sure though.
The food for dinner isn't great but honestly who comes for the food anyway? We all know we pay sixty dollars per person just so we don't have to wait in lines to meet Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet. The character interactions we had during our meal were great and made for a very special, fun and memorable experience!
Food is not great, very overpriced, especially for a child who is picky and doesn't hardly eat anything. The food stations were very sloppy during my visit. You are basically paying for the character meet and greet and the air conditioning. The atmosphere is beautiful and retro, I have to say that it reminds me of being in Disneyland, California . It's great for the Pooh and friends character experience but it is still overpriced for children.

Was desperate for something to eat at the end of the night and was able to get seats here for 7 ppl. Overall, totally not worth the money you are paying, especially for an adult. Yes, there are the character interactions, but the food is not great and insanely salty. Also, not that big of a buffet for the $70 price tag. Dessert mousse was very good, but overall pretty low quality entrees and sides. Service was also not great as he really messed up the payment at the end and spent 10-15 mins trying to correct it (we all had gift cards and he said he had to ring us up separately. Why can't you just swipe each card and deduct from the total bill? Makes absolutely no sense!) Would not go here again, even if I had kids.

My family and I had a pleasant breakfast at this establishment until I discovered a wasp in my food. I promptly informed the waitress of my concern, who responded with a somber expression. The manager arrived to apologize but then departed without offering any further assistance. There was no indication of empathy or concern displayed by either individual. Instead, they seemed to prioritize their own interests and departed without addressing the issue. Notably, no one attempted to provide any form of support or compensation for the inconvenience caused. The only gesture of acknowledgment was the offer to replace my meal from the buffet. This response is somewhat disappointing, especially considering that my family had already paid $400 for the meal. It would have been appreciated if the establishment had taken some initiative to rectify the situation and provide a more satisfactory resolution.
Of all our Disney dining experiences this was by far the worse. The food was gross. The kids only options were chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese with pizza. Even the adult choices were sub par. We do not recommend this experience. You’re better off eating some greasy undercooked street food. Not to mention the price of the food does not match the quality of the food. Whoever created this menu is delusional.
Today was my first time coming here and I probably won't be coming back. For the price, I expected better. I, unfortunately, was very let down. We were assigned a waiter in training (which is fine), but we could tell he hasn't been a waiter before. We saw him maybe 3 times during our hour long dinner. And at Disney, in my opinion, the bar is supposed to be higher. Maybe it's due to understaffing but everyone seemed overwhelmed. The only person that looked happy and cheerful was the woman that took us to our table. At $39+ per person, you would expect better quality. The only thing that I personally thought was good and not okay was the catfish. At this price, go elsewhere right now.
The only good thing about this restaurant is the characters. Our server was rude and didn’t refill drinks. They charged us a gratuity, which is not a problem if the server was tentative. Unfortunately, she was not. The food was mediocre at best. I really wanted it to be good, but it just was not. There are lots more options at Disney World that are way better than this one. My kids really didn’t eat anything because they did not like the food. Only two of the characters really stopped at our table. The other two just waved and didn’t even stop.
The food selection was fine for a buffet but we paid quite a bit of money for the convenience of meeting the characters without waiting in long lines. All of Pooh’s friends came around fairly quickly and we enjoyed the interactions. Pooh started meeting with tables, but never made it to ours. My husband went to ask a cast member if we could see Pooh since we had finished eating and it had already been an hour since we arrived. We were told Pooh was about to go on break and be out in 10 or so minutes. No big deal. Pooh came back out and began seeing tables that had just been seated and we waited an additional 20 minutes before my husband asked again. The cast member told him we would be seen shortly. After 1.5 hours he asked again and they finally took my kids to go see him. Waiting 1.5 hours to see Pooh after paying a premium price is not acceptable. It was a very disappointing experience. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

The food was disappointingwatery potatoes and the butter for the bread wasn't real butter, just oil. At $65, it's not worth the price at all. I’d recommend finding a more affordable place. The dishes weren’t well prepared, and the only positive thing about the experience was getting to see Tigger, Pooh, and Piglet. Disney really needs to improve here. I wish more Disney influencers were honest about the quality instead of just saying everything is great because it's Disney. Trust me, this restaurant is a hard pass, and I won’t be returning.
While I appreciated the opportunity to meet Winnie the Pooh and friends, it is not worth the price we paid for this character dining experience. We had a reservation for 7:20 P.M. the other night and didn't get seated until 7:45 or so even though the ticket was printed at 7:35. Me and my partner were ready and waiting while other parties who weren't altogether were still admitted first. The food was okay, nothing stellar and it took an hour and a half to meet all the characters. For over $100 for 2 people to dine here and no gratuity that is factored into the price, it is criminal. I do not recommend the Crystal Palace, not even for viewing the fireworks.
This is not our initial visit to Crystal Palace; however, it is the first occasion we have experienced disappointment. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful. We are a large group, and we understand that sitting together may not be feasible. Nevertheless, for over 30 years, we have collaborated with the DCM to ensure we are close to one another. We adhere to the guidelines—we make our reservation 60 days in advance and communicate with the restaurant prior to our seating. On this particular day, Alex informed us that for the 8 PM seating, if we wished to be seated near each other, we would have to wait an additional 45 minutes. After some resistance, considering we had an 81-year-old who struggles to walk being seated at the back, I spoke with Froggie. He showed me four tables that would be available in 10 minutes, which were near our other party, and he was uncertain as to why Alex had provided us with different information. There seems to be a lack of communication from this restaurant with some of the new staff. Froggie then offered us Lightning Lane tickets for our party, which we appreciated as a kind gesture, only to discover the following day that these tickets were essentially useless for anyone over the age of 10. While we won't stop our visits to MK, I sincerely hope that Disney begins to seek out higher quality staff.
Horrible food, inedible, chicken legs were raw, bread was old, options are so little not worth the cost per person. Desert has no taste. Only good thing was the ice cream. Not recommended to waste your money for a limited and inedible food options.
$62 per person is expensive for the quality of the buffet on offer. Add to that gratuity is added automatically for party’s of 6 or more. We were charged $55 gratuity for 5 adults and an 8 month old…. Who is classed as a member of the party. When questioned we were told it was policy at all Disney restaurants for party’s of 6 or more, even though the cheque was for 5. I would not recommend this place, the view for fireworks isn’t that great either
The only good thing was the waiter. He went out of his way to make sure my kids got to meet the characters. Otherwise the food was complete trash at an asinine price. My kids barely ate the nasty buffet. I paid over $300 (family of four)garbage food. I have had better quality from Denny’s. Disney ought to be ashamed they charge that much for such crap.
Character Dinner Family trip 6 adults and 2 children. Food was awful. Prime Rib tough and had a terrible taste to it. Roast Beef tasted old like left overs. Chicken was all dark meat with a gravy poured over it. Shrimp was good size but nothing fancy. Had to peel them ourselves. Salad had choices but had nats hovering over the lettuce. While we ate we had to fight off the nats from landing on our food. Sides, mash potatoes were watery and everything else was really not eatable. Deserts tasted like they did t know what eggs and butter were. Soft serve ice cream was the best. I would highly NOT recommend this restaurant. We spent a lot of money for a TERRIBLE meal that we felt sick when we left. We will not go back. Wessinger Family
Our group had severe food poisoning at this restaurant. We had elderly grand ma and toddler that suffered the worst symptoms of food poisoning and our entire group of seven suffered for three days and completely ruined our Disney trip We were so excited to go there and have the baby meet the characters and that was the outcome. I’m very sad that happened. We were only in Disney World for five days and the incident of food poisoning ruined three days of our trip and didn’t give us the opportunity to visit the parks or enjoy Disney World. Would never go back to this restaurant.
It was dirty. The food was about the same quality as Golden Corral. It was $185.00 for two adults and one child minus tip. We had the worst server Stephen. He did not refill our drinks or clear our plates. It’s a buffet. Literally that’s your job. To refill drinks and clear plates.. Then after we hadn’t had a water refill for ten minutes & with empty glasses, we were trying to make eye contact with Stephen and he said’ “I’m sorry I’m trying to get caught up.” There were no other parties booked. Or in sight. He was clearing and cleaning tables for the next shift while we were parched, annoyed, and looking at him, with no other guests to assist. Then he realized he messed up and tried to overcome it. He awkwardly talked with my husband ( who is too kind) and then nastily brought us (from the self-serve buffet) a scoop of banana pudding. Ew, how gross. Also the restrooms were out of paper towels completely and the employees refilling the buffet food had an attitude. And the soft seve ice cream machine was broken. I will NEVER return to this restaurant, but it doesn’t matter how the food or cleanliness or experience was because the Disney machine will keep on turning and burning. Save your money and just eat $15 hot dogs in the park.
Reservation was for 630, we large party seated at 640 which is understandable. What wasn’t is how many dirty tables we were sat by. Food was pretty decent but not worth the money charged. Service was spotty, only refilled our waters twice and cleared plates twice in 2 hours. Since we had 8 in our party the auto gratuity that was paid was not earned. But the worst part of the experience was that for the first hour and 40 minutes we were there not a single character came to our half of the restaurant. When we asked the server about it an hour in they told us “well it’s a 90 minute experience.” When we asked again at 90minutes the server told us “well they are supposed to be more spread out but they just love being together.” So they basically told us they weren’t doing what they were supposed to be doing and at the hour and 40 minute mark I asked to speak to a manager. The manager Dave was incompetent and didn’t seem to understand that 1hr40min is longer than 90 minutes. Overall it was a train wreck of a visit. Disney hospitality has really gone down hill at the parks. Would stay far away from crystal palace, find another character experience to go to there are many to choose from so that your kids will get the experience you paid for.
We recently dined at Crystal Palace and were disappointed with the overall experience, especially given the price point. Our meal was approximately $200 for our family, and unfortunately much of the food was dry, limited in selection, and not very appetizing. The dining area also did not appear as clean as we would have expected for a Disney restaurant of this level. Additionally, all three members of our party experienced stomach issues the following day after eating there. While we understand that experiences can vary, this was concerning. We had hoped for a memorable character dining experience, but left regretting our choice. We hope improvements are made to food quality and cleanliness to better match the Disney standard guests expect.
