Very clean, nice decor, plenty of seating inside and out. Good prompt service. They seem to have less options on their menu than previously but everything was delicious. The grilled chicken salad was delicious and my boys enjoyed their omelettes very much. Free refills on hot cocoa are a major plus.

Ate breakfast outside on the patio. Big umbrellas for shade. Server was quite friendly and helpful. We eat here about once a month (the last 12 years) and never had a problem with the food or service.

Today is Mothers Day and mine started out not so great. Then after an emotional morning I go to pick up my order and its no where to be found. Frustrated after everything else I finally find my order and present it to the staff. Can I just say that Debbie was just as polite as could be through it all. She remained calm despite me acting curtly. Thank you Debbie for going beyond what your paycheck pays you for. You are truly a good human being and that is a rarity these days.

I was just in this ihop and I can say that this is the best ihop I've been to, very tasty food, excellent service.

Great service for takeout. My order was ready really quickly. It was packaged thoughtfully with my crepes and whipped cream in separate containers. My food was still piping hot when I got home 20 minutes later. Even though I ordered coffee in the evening, it tasted fresh--not bitter. RECOMMEND

We were actually pleasantly surprised. For being a busy Saturday morning, we were seated within 10 minutes. Our food came up within (7) minutes and was hot & exactly to order. Ask to be seated in April's section, she is incredibly sweet and takes excellent care of her customers!

This place was great! Our sever, Rey was so nice and took used plates and items from us when we didn't even know. He was so nice and kind to us. And other than Rey, the manager came to check in on us, and the staff was so sweet! There are so many little things that you can do to get free items! You can buy an omelet and get free unlimited pancakes for the rest of your meal! This place was definitely worthy of 5 stars!!!

So its hot as hell and I’m like i need a drink so i go to this i hop and i order my food the waiter, hector h, takes me to my seat and he is managing all 5 tables including me. I get my food and drink in like 5 minutes very quick. And its so good! Who ever Hector H working at around 3 pm on August 15th 2024 need a raise like idk even know this guy also really good mozeralla sticks

Our server, Wendy, was beyond patient and accommodating! We were there after a soccer game and we came in with about 500 people. Lol... Not really but it was very hectic. Wendy was still patient & kind!

This IHOP has really changed my opinion of the restaurant. I had a chicken fajita omelette, and it was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The waitress was exceptional. For these reasons I will return again.

Stopped in for a late night sweet treat and ended up getting the double blueberry pancakes & splitting them. Hit the spot just right. Service was fast and friendly and the pancakes were tasty and piping hot.

I had a small issue from a prior order a few weeks ago. I called weeks later as it was time to do my team meeting. I wanted to address the issue and make my new order. Like I said, it was not a big issue but I wanted it addressed on this next order. The person took my information & let me know the manager would follow up with me. Debbie, the Manager is outstanding. It had been years since I have been to an IHOP. I have to say I was suprised at the great service and food selection. AMERICA our server was amazing, she was efficient, friendly and went beyond to make our meal special. I also want to acknowledge the young man who worked the front. He was nice, he handled the crowds efficiently and had everyone seated in a timely matter. My only recommended for management is to remove one or both the round tables behind the cashier. We were originally sat there but honestly it was so uncomfortable. But the staff moved us right away! Highly recommend this location!

Mario did a great job. The place was a bit busy He handled the whole place solo. He did everything from wait on tables, clean, ring people up. Everyone was helped, including a group of high school kids. He made sure to check in on everyone, rotating around to everyone, even getting the extra requests and refills. Love the food. A little overpriced in my opinion. They three of our four items wrong on a take out order but we're very apologetic and took care of our entire next meal. We were there on a slow night during the week and the music was loud. We asked to turn it down but they didn't. I will still go back and love their banana Nutella crepes.

IHOP has family-friendly priced meals and is a great breakfast place. Service is pretty quick and over all this is a decently nice place to eat. However, last time I was there there there was some weird odor coming from the bathroom. But I'm sure that's only in some locations and probably not a normal thing.

I'm going to get them some slack on the meh service because it was Thanksgiving. I'm sure the A and B teams got the day off. Food was good. We had to postpone our turkey due to heavy rain, so we didn't plan to eat turkey. My wife was happy with her omelette. The fish and chips were remarkably good. I'm sure I can find better at a place that specializes in that, but for a generic diner type restaurant, these were amazing. I was expecting a wait, but since they didn't do anything special for Thanksgiving there were many empty tables. The heavy rain and flash flood alerts didn't help. I'll give them a try on another day. Maybe they'll get 5 stars then.

I was there at 7:20 am on a weekday to pickup an online order to be ready at 7:15, I was greeted and told that the order will be ready shortly. 10 minutes later a manager came out with my order and apologized for the wait. Everyone was friendly and cordial, wasn't busy at all.

IHOP is for us a good Sunday breakfast stop. The food is consistent and good. Not a diner so the selection is smaller but I like the food is convenient and no surprises. This is a place you would come for the same dishes or your favorite. You know what I mean. I like the sirloin tips and eggs with good old hash browns. And the coffee is always full.

Giving the servers a raid is the only thing I have to say. The food was for once better than ever and magnificent when eating it outside the diner room. The service was a bit long for we waiting almost an hour to order our food and drinks while the others already ordered their food and drinks but I’m guessing the slow progress was cuz of the people who were there and how many since I see a bunch of people walk out.

I like original pancakes here with maple syrup and coffee. The dining room was full but service was very good. The only negative thing is the serve brought the bill before we finish the breakfast. I understand they want to serve more customers in a short period, but bringing bill without asking is not fair.

Came here for a light dinner on a Monday evening. It was practically deserted, only two other couples. Seventies and eighties music at a low volume played so it was pretty quiet. We ordered a Spicy Poblano omelette and avocado toast. Both were pretty darn good.

Not what it used to be. The host was awesome and gave us lots of information the waiter took our order and dropped off the check that was the only communication we had with him, but he was nice. Restaurant seem like they got much smaller than in the past but I could be wrong, but seems like everything is getting smaller and more expensive. This is probably normal but I just wanted one cup of coffee I had to pay for a whole pot. But that being said my mom loved everything that she had for breakfast there.

It was. It was pretty good. I ordered the food to go. By the time I got to work it was cold. I ordered the food it took about 15 minutes to atmosphere. Was kind of dead but there was families in there. So you know you can bring your kid is very wheelchair or handicap accessible servers were nice.

That place reminds me of an average guy. There is nothing really to be excited about, nor something that deserves a huge complaint. Just one average Joe trying to stay where he belongs. I would rate it 3+, but there is no option, so 4 stars with a little bit of a handicap.

It was a nice time today. Restaurant was really busy this morning, December 23, 2024 around 10 am. Wait was still about 15 minutes, not bad. The food did take a while. But the waitress, Wendy was still very attentive, polite, and friendly, always checking on us. The food was good. We had the seasonal (I think) crunchy French toast and it was good. Not too sweet, it was good. No need for Syrup. ————————————————————- It is an ok restaurant. Nothing much different from other ones. Nothing above and beyond. I liked that fact that they do have an outside seating area, which is nice specially with our beautiful weather here in Cali! It was a Sunday around 12:30 pm. No wait time for seating. Restaurant was pretty slow. The front hostesses were kind and welcoming. Our waiter, Scott, was attentive, quick, and professional. Unfortunately today Sunday, the restaurant ran out of honey, which is what my wife uses to drink her coffee with. So she chose water instead! Food was ok. Nothing to brag about, as you can see from the pictures. Taste was just ok also. Experience at this restaurant was not bad, it’s just felt and tasted just like any other IHOP!

First time at this location, placed conveniently off the freeway, very easy in and out of the parking lot. Very clean and felt safe. Seated quickly, very clean tables, fast service. Only reason for 4 stars is because 2 of our orders were messed up, but the server was very friendly. Foot was hot and fresh, and good value for the price. Would return. And recommend.

The food isn't anything too special, it's the standard food you would expect from going to an IHOP. Great for breakfast, good for lunch, but the after feeling you get an hour later isn't the best. Despite this, the service is relatively good and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a Midwestern diner...if that makes any sense! Still a pleasure to go to, and I'll be back after a bit of time.

I like IHOP’s omelette very much. That's why I took my family to IHOP. The spicy pablano omelette and spinach & mushroom omelette are very good. My kids loved hash brown. Only problem is that my wife feel uncomfortable to Lady room. Maybe the manager needs to talk to the janitor.

Food was good we got helped right away also food was good and not expensive at all. Lots of parking. One thing I did not like was the 🚻 very dirty. Right of the freeway if your just passing by its perfect .It was convenient to stop by my kids wanted some food but restroom where bad.

My GF and I ate here for breakfast, she ordered Pancakes, but when we got them there was a Thick Black Hair between the Butter and the Pancakes... I respectfully brought it to the Waiters attention who apologized and replaced them easily enough, but they didn't offer to comp the pancakes or anything else to make up for the issue. I don't usually make a problem because I understand how it feels to be on the receiving end of a bad customer, but by that point the damage was done and my GF lost her appetite to eat. Probably won't be coming back.

Busy diner, even on a weekday at 9 am. Service is great and attentive, but certain staff seem to want to rush you out of the place and don't listen to customer comments or request. A bit pricey too. Currently, a pancake combo with coffee, and tax/no tip was over $21.

Under staffed. Front is often abandoned. Opens at 6. We arrived at 7. Had to stick my head in the kitchen to get seated. Coffee was long coming. Staff was working hard. Happened to others as well. Food was okay.

Got the Spicy Poblano Omelette for an eye-opening $17.99. Add a cup of coffee and tax, that's $23.68 before tip for a breakfast for one. It was good but quite expensive. The place was clean, the service was good. It's just overpriced.

The food portions are way smaller at this location. The service was awful. There was no one at the door to sit customers and the servers were behind and it was 9am on a Monday. Do better Ihop.

Located right off the freeway, so it is convenient. The food tastes like any other IHOP but the staff is rude, and does not seem to care about safety. They attempted to seat us at a table that had not been sanitized. When we asked them to clean the table and bench, we got attitude for it.

I love IHOP, but this location wasn’t the best service. They said they had a pipe leak and that’s why they couldn’t take care of my order as it should be. I think they were busy fixing their kitchen.

Visited at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. My waiter was excellent—very accommodating with outstanding communication. He checked in often, answered questions clearly, and even asked the manager about a simple request I had: substituting turkey meat for the “FAVs” breakfast. Unfortunately, management said turkey meat wasn't available for the "FVAS"—even for an additional charge—so I ended up with just pancakes and eggs. The meal I had was good, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility Overall, I appreciated the great service from my waiter and enjoyed what I ordered, but I hope the location considers adding turkey options or allowing substitutions in the future.

Recent food poisoning from breakfast combo will keep me away from this location for a long time. **Update following post** I was contacted by manager after a week and was given apology and complimentary offering.

My pancakes were not hot. It seems they prep the pancakes in advance and just pull them off the stack as the order comes in. How hard is it to make fresh pancakes? Seems IHOP cares more about their burgers than their pancakes now

I get that it's just an IHOP, but does everyone interacting with customers need to be so aggressively surly? Why are they all SO unhappy? So much so that it bleeds over into the customer service? My expectations are pretty low, but today's breakfast service was deeply depressing. Food was average/slightly under average--I've had better breakfast at other IHOPS. One bright point was the poached eggs; they were perfectly prepared.

Don't get steak anything, got the tbone it was sour(likely old/rotten) and looked boiled then seared. . Kinda. Pancakes good and coffee was ok.

While I understand the reason the crepes was downsized, to cover the price increase and not need to change the price, I don't understand why the cream is missing entirely on the cinnamon crepes. I think they only wiped the knife of on my crepes. What a disappointment! Should have just gotten regular crepes, worh no cream, same thing.

I was expecting a good size portion for a breakfast. What i receive does not feed a grown man well. So small, does not even fill my plate...had to get a little of my gf and son to get full. Very disappointed 😞....

Ordered the cinacakes. They were dry af. They were drenched in to cinnamon frosting which made it even worse. Presentation looked like depression at its finest. Will not be coming back here anytime soon.

Dishonest location. Waitress said if we ordered a breakfast combo we can get all you can eat pancakes. I ordered a breakfast combo and when I asked for more pancakes she said that only the omelet meals come with all you can eat pancakes. I told her that is not what she said earlier but she denied it and said if I wanted more pancakes I would have to pay for them.

Our first time here was not the greatest experience. We ordered breakfast and 10 min later they had to retake our order because they didn't know what had happen to our order. They took a long time to serve it. The waffles were cold and soft ( not crunchy). They later switch waitresses but she was lost in action.

I went there today and this is what I found in my coffee!!! It’s a very dirty restaurant and the service was very bad.

I understand restaurants being understaffed which could make for bad or just ok service but the food being bad I don't understand. My hashbrowns and bacon were really burnt and bad. The crepes were completely dry and tasteless. I barely eat anything, of course no one notices as there is not enough staff to even notice what is happening. I will not be coming back

the only two servers on the dinner shift (one being the manager) have terrible communication. my experience, i don’t understand why they have a happy hour menu from 3pm-9pm everyday but charge us the regular price. another table asked for the senior discount but they only did it for one person when they had 5 seniors. honestly ridiculous, don’t recommend this location at all.

does not care about delivery orders getting to people on time, because they have to call us drivers a thief and also have us sign a paper saying that we’re not going to be stealing the order all while the food is getting cold

The food took forever and was not very good at all. Our waiter was a perfect gentleman and apologized for everything being slow. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

If you like Buffet style without the buffet just outside Vegas down and out broke to the bone service the IHOP in Lake Forest is just the place . you won't be disappointed all they need are the last chance nickle slots . Good luck .

This IHOP must retrain the staff and reduce the overpriced food if they want to stay in business. Coffee is $4.50, small portion of hash browns are $4.95? Etc. IHOP John Wayne location went out of business because they underestimated the intelligence of their customers. A sincere advice to the mgmt: please reduce the prices by 25% or you will go under.

They took 50 minutes to bring my food and they let another family take MY table and chairs

Came to this location the other day, February 15, 2025 for breakfast just me, my husband and my five-year-old son. We had already been waiting 10 minutes for a table and there was a party in front of us that were also waiting. This older Asian couple came in behind us. One of the hostess was going to sit us at a table that just got cleaned off and the Asian couple cut in front of us and sat on our table we were just about to be sat at. We complain to the lady at the front and her excuse was their regulars they always seat themselves to which my response was that doesn't make it right there was two groups ahead of them. We've already been waiting 10 minutes and with them taking our table we had to wait an additional 10 minutes with a five-year-old. Just because you're a regular doesn't give you the right to cut everybody who's already been waiting in line. One more thing I'd like to add that put the cherry on the pie is as he was coming back from the bathroom, he looked at our table, looked at me and smirk, knowing what he did was wrong. To the older Asian couple that comes regularly to this IHOP you know who you are and to IHOP / hostess you should do better. That was completely unacceptable and I will never ever eat at your store ever again.

Really bad service. the attitudes of the workers is unacceptable. Rude, disrespectful to guest who come to support them. I don't know them personally but treating people like they are a problem is a fast way to lose local customers. They have ruined my IHOP experience. IHOP used to be a safe option for breakfast when your not feeling like cooking it yourself but the service is so bad, it makes cooking it yourself a better option. Any time you pay for a service, you expect to be treated with the respect that comes with being a customer. These people need to be re trained in respect towards the guest, and a secret shopper would say the same. I don't have this issue at all IHOP's but this one is a let down. This is the place for cold food and attitudes. Come on, do you even appreciate having guest?

I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered an omelet that was nearly $20, only to discover (by taste and texture) that it was made with liquid egg product rather than freshly cracked eggs. If this is the standard at IHOP, it should be clearly disclosed on the menu — especially at that price point. The difference is obvious if you’re used to eating real eggs, and the flavor and texture were frankly unpleasant. The pancakes were also a letdown. They weren’t undercooked, but somehow dry and gummy in the center at the same time, with an overcooked exterior. The texture felt heavily processed rather than freshly made. I don’t mind paying for breakfast when the ingredients are real and the quality is there, but charging premium prices for industrial egg products and processed batters feels misleading. Other restaurants do use freshly cracked eggs, and the difference is noticeable. I hope IHOP considers being more transparent about ingredients or offering an option for real eggs — many customers would gladly choose that. Until then, this wasn’t a good value for the price.

My husband and I came for breakfast, such terrible service, we charged for two ranches and got one, we ordered an Oreo shake and got cinnamon on top, they also forgot the straws and my husband had literally to go up to the desk to ask for them, I got hash browns and were burned out, for my eggs I asked for cheddar cheese on top and was cold it wasn’t even melted, the ham was cold as well. Female workers here have such an attitude, if they don’t like to work here they can go to the Taco Bell right across the street. We got our waiter switched since he had to go to break and she didn’t asked if everything was okay, I saw people going up the desk to get their receipt, our table didn’t have any condiments at all so we had to get them from another table.
